Had another studio day today. Did more vocal doubling for my folkpunk album. Just one more song to go tomorrow for doubling. Did some screaming over drone noises so eric can have something to play to open his sets on his upcoming asia tour.

Ive been making him patches for his asia tour. This is the linocut ive been using to make it, my biggest size yet, half a piece of paper sized. I use speedball fabric ink which is waterproof.

This is the first batch of 24 patches. 2 days of work. Managed to sell two patches at the art show i sang with new age doom at. The yellow orange red gradient patch, and the silver and pink fade patch were the ones that sold. I sold these for $10 instead of $5 as their bigger and need more ink to make. I also need to stand one them in order for the ink to transfer so it takes me more time.

This is the second batch of 13 patches. 2 days of work.

went to the art store today got three more wooden back linocut blocks smaller than the one i used for erics stamp. Got a big mixed media sketchbook, orange, green & blue paint, and a pen knife. Then i went to the dollar store and got two small canvases, metal organiser for pens and brushes, erasers for carving, and blues clues stickers. I spend too much money on art supplies, good things its going to be my job forever and everything is an investment into things i will use for a long time.

This is my first project in a couple of weeks. I've been buissy moving and only had limited access to my sewing supplies.

I am currently working on the crimson moth embroidery kit designed by @forensicsandflowers. As far as I can tell it was part of a FairyLoot Box, but I got it from vinted.

remembered that Mesopotamian incantation/devil trap bowls exist. made a Supernatural version using the exorcism incantation & devils trap from the show, using the cut-off bottom of a paper coffee cup, pen, white-out, krazy glue & yarn... bc lbr thats what Sam & Dean would do.

oh yeah also I wrote the exorcism in roman cursive bc I read in some old book that ancient languages are most suitable for doing magic. red yarn around the rim is bc red (& red string) is pretty widely accepted to ward off/scare off evil, so its extra protection from anything getting out lol.

...I feel like other spn cosplayers' "hunting gear" doesn't have stuff like this

Hey there I’m Alana from Alanaartdream the artists & creator of this YouTube (a 2 tumbler one under Alanaartdream and the other one a reblog blog for the Alanaartdream one) a instagram under Alanaartdream and a twitter (yeah i’m not callingit X that’s not a great name) i also have a fb but that just goes by my 1st & last names and i mostly use it to stay in touchwith family & friends who refuse to use anything else

So ok I mostly talk about drawings I do or the occasional doll/toy I got but I like to create stuff and being as ​⁠KikaGoods has these Rolife DIY miniature House kits you can get off their website (apparently they don’t just do blind boxes/bags or dolls; they have these little DIY kits and miniatures as well so I had to pick up the bookstore one being as A) it’s about books (and ok I do talk about books and manga on here as well so it’s a given I’d go for this kit)

AND B) there’s an adorable little cat that’s part of this kit and I LOVE felines so 2 reasons I had to get and build this kit; it took myself awhile to find the spare time to build being as work and life has myself pretty busy a lot of the time this year (I have at least 3 arts& craft things I’ve been meaning to do but just haven’t found the time) but this kit was pretty fun to build but very trying at times because I’ve not built a lot of miniatures before (most of the time I’ve build Lego sets or Pokemon model kits from Bandai )

But if like myself you want to try making a miniature for the frist time I’d recommend trying out those rolife DIY miniature house little & warm spaces @kikagoods
