Happy Holidays! ❤️
On December 18th 1995 Michael visits Disneyland Paris with his nephews and the Cascio Family to rest after his collapse that happened two weeks earlier during rehearsals for the "One Night Only" show in New York.
"All the fans are waiting in front of the hotel shouting 'Michael! Michael!' and he came out three times already to say Hello.
I think at the moment he really enjoys Space Mountain, which is our newest ride at the park. I also think he came here especially for Christmas because that's always the best and most beautiful time to be at Disneyland. "
- Maria Kondstatt, Disneyland ambassador

DISNEY’S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE: Festival of Holidays 2022
Recently, my family and I had enjoyed a day at the Disneyland Resort, where we attended the 2022 Festival of Holidays at the Disney’s California Adventure theme park. The festival ends on January 8, 2023. Below is a selection of the food and drinks I had enjoyed at the festival:
DISNEY’S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE: FESTIVAL OF HOLIDAYS 2022
Pork Belly Adobo - This dish consists of braised pork belly, served with Garlic fried rice, chicharron pieces, and topped with green onions. A first bite of the pork belly revealed a strong vinegary flavor. But once I ate it with the rice and green onion, the strong vinegar flavor receded somewhat, and this proved to be a delicious selection.
Lox & Everything Bagel Nachos - Although not a big favorite of mine, I rather liked this dish of bagel chips, cream cheese, diced smoked salmon, everything spice, onions, tomatoes, and capers. I would have preferred if the bagel chips had been softer, but the smoked salmon was deliciously fresh.
Mickey Shaped Gingerbread Cookie - Although I found the sprinkles irrelevant, I really enjoyed this rich gingerbread cookie. I also thought the ginger flavor was strong and perfect.
Churro Toffee Coffee Cold Brew Latte - This coffee latte with Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. Mexico Origin Blend Coffee, demerara, cinnamon sugar, vanilla bean, and almond milk garnished with churro syrup, whipped cream, and chocolate toffee crumbles was delicious, but very familiar to me. At the moment, I cannot recall when or where I have drunk something similar before. There is an alcoholic version of this drink with coffee liqueur.
IMPOSSIBLE Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes - This was a surprisingly first-rate dish with meatloaf made from IMPOSSIBLE ground meat and served with mashed potatoes, classic gravy and crispy shallots. Honestly, the meatloaf almost tasted like real meat. Almost.
Pumpkin Layered Cheesecake - I really enjoyed this rich and delicious dessert made from layers of New York-style cheesecake, pumpkin gooey cake, and graham cracker topped with spiced Chantilly and a chocolate decoration. The mixture of cheesecake and pumpkin flavors struck me as first-rate.
Brisket Slider - This mini sandwich consisted of smoked brisket with smoked onions and horseradish ketchup on a pretzel roll. Yes, the horseradish ketchup came off as a bit strong on the first bite, but the brisket was . . . O-M-G! It was simply delicious and tender. It was some of the best brisket I have ever sampled. Even the pretzel bun was nice and soft.
Peri Peri Chicken with Yellow Jollof Rice - This dish was served at the Flavor of Wakanda booth but is not considered part of the official festival. Nevertheless, this was the best thing I had eaten at the festival tjhat day - grilled chicken flavored with the peri peri seasoning from Mozambique and served with the heavily seasoned Jollof rice that originated in the Senegambian region. Superb!
If you had attended the 2022 Disney’s California Adventure Festival of Holidays, what were your favorite dishes?

🧛🏽♀️🧟♀️👹Horror Movies for Beginners🦇💀👻
Disclaimer: This is something I'm doing for fun and because I've had people in the past ask me for suggestions for people who are interested in horror but are too scared to get into it. I'll be adding more to this list as I think of more.
Tips: For one thing, I would suggest checking doesthedogdie.com before watching any horror movie. It's a great source for triggers ahead of time. The people who contribute to it can be very helpful too, as they sometimes provide timestamps as to where in the movie the triggers take place so you can skip over them.
I would also suggest horror comedies, as they provide humor to lessen the blow of the scary stuff.
But Wait!!!
🇵🇸🍉
Before you continue reading about scary movies, please consider taking a look at some charities benefitting families in Gaza. I'm going to try to update it regularly!
Spooky Movies for Beginners
Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II, Ghostbusters (2016)
Yes, I am including 2016. No, I am not ashamed to like that version. No, I will not be taking criticism. I did not include Afterlife because I have not seen it yet. That aside, I do recommend the Ghostbusters movies listed. The movies contain a balance of horror and comedy and cool science-fiction tech. They're fun, but not too scary for beginners.
Haunted Mansion (2003)
Most of the "scares" in this movie aren't really scary. If you've been to Disneyland and can ride through the attraction with no problems, you can probably get through this movie. It's geared more towards families, so if you have kids, they'll probably enjoy watching it with you. However, there is an anti-Romani slur used repeatedly throughout the movie. Also, proceed with caution if you have a fear of spiders.
Coraline (2009)
This movie is animated but contains a lot of creepy imagery. Some kids might get creeped out by it. If you like "rabbit hole" type movies that involve stumbling upon hidden and treacherous worlds, you'll probably like it. Henry Selick, the dude who made Nightmare Before Christmas, is responsible for this film adaptation.
Wendell and Wild (2022)
Another animated movie from Henry Selick with Jordan Peele. Two mischievous demons cause havoc. Peele and Kegan-Michael Key play the demons. Oh, and it's a middle finger to private prisons and the school-to-prison pipeline, so there's that. If you're too afraid to watch Get Out, Us, or Nope, but want to experience the horror magic Peele, you will probably enjoy this one.
The Sixth Sense (1999)
I'm hesitant to put this one on the list because this one does contain disturbing imagery that can be too much for a beginner. But this is a really solid movie even if the ending has already been spoiled for you. How scary the ghosts are really isn't what this movie is all about--the themes of grief and healing are really what it's about.
Gremlins (1984) and Gremlins II: A New Batch (1990)
When I was a kid, my parents thought they could scare me into behaving by saying the gremlins from these movies were going to get me. But I loved the gremlins because they were fun and I wanted to be their friends lol. If you like practical effects, you'll probably like this movie. I don't think these movies would be scary for most adults, but kids might be a little iffy with the gremlins--but Gizmo is adorable and might be able to balance out the scariness. However, there is some...questionable Asian representation typical of 80's movies. Proceed with caution.
Warm Bodies (2013)
This movie was released when the Twilight craze was at its height and I remember being shit-talk about that, but this movie is worth watching. Yes, it is about a zombie falling in love with a living human, but it really is adorable (in my opinion) and the movie is overall clever and fun. I will say that there are some parts that might be a little too much for beginners. The "bonies" might be a little too scary. However, the "scary" parts are very brief and they are not the center of the story.
Dracula (1931)
One of Universal's classics. This was probably a very terrifying movie for the time it was released, but by today's standards, I cannot describe it as scary. You'll probably laugh at the bat puppets used throughout the film. However, Bela Lugosi's timeless portrayal of Dracula is nothing short of creepy. There's a reason it's still iconic even to this day. The film, though, is not for everyone. It's just under an hour and a half but can feel very slow to those with short attention spans. Regardless, I think this is a must-watch if you're into vampires of any sort, and it is worth appreciation.
To be continued...

⚠️ Want all to be aware there is more to GA Family, née GAC, than G-rated Christmas movies. Though I’m including dates and details here in the spirit of being a completist, worth noting the funding and founding of this channel, which comes from the Donald Trump-aligned Hicks Equity Group, brings with it an explicit anti-diversity agenda, hiding under guise of harmless sounding words like “family-friendly” and “safe” programming. More detailed explanation here (bottom of page), and additional more recent thoughts, for those who want it. And if you’re looking for outside sources on GAF’s political affiliations and lack of inclusion, see these stories from The Daily Beast, Vulture, the L.A. Times and Bloomberg.

Dude, what is the stuff outside of work you keep referring to? They post from the same place because they live/lived togethernless they said otherwise all you can assume is that they are roommates. You say they share a bed but you have no idea how many bedrooms their apartment has. The most shared stuff was when they were out with Shelby, which is also a long time friend of S. On the other hand, Court has been sharing photos of Spencer in almost every photo dump for the last year or so, they comment on each other's stuff, including Spencer supporting C's YouTube videos, they feature and troll each other on social media all the time. You keep referring to C's words "everything I share is intentional", but choose to ignore everything else she's shared that doesn't fit your narrative. Maybe expand your mind...
Then why didn't Court was with Spencer on...
Hawaii week off trip
2022 MGM Las Vegas trip
All the Disneyland & Universal Studio trip
2022 Christmas & New Year trip to Colorado Springs
Creator Clashes 2
UK week off trip
2023 Courtney birthday
Chilli Cookoff
btw Shayne was with them in all of the thing I listed and that's just what they decided to share too. They probably been to more things that we know.
Also the roommate stuff they said so many time on older SmoshCast that they don't like having roommate. Shayne even said that "I don't know if I ever will end up living with someone again unless i'm married or whatever" on the podcast.

Day Fourteen - To Disney
20th November 2022
Onwards to Disneyland!! This morning I had cake for breakfast (of course!) and then we packed our bags because we are staying at the Hotel Okura at the Disney Resort in Chiba.
Unfortunately, the weather is quite gloomy. Raining and cold — but that doesn’t stop me!!
All the Christmas decorations were up in the parks and it looked so pretty. However; I felt like it was very underwhelming compared to previous visits. Possibly due to covid limitations? I dunno.
We started with some more cakes and a coffee from Sweetheart Treats but Mikes Melon Pan doesn’t cut it after the one we had at Mt Fuji haha!
Because Ben has never been to Disneyland before, I had to show him the ropes. First things first -- Star Tours. Then to the Baymax Vending Machines. We saw the new Beauty and the Beast area but it was raining, and the queue was 120minutes long for the ride (with no more purchasable fast passes left for the day... I think I know what Im going to do differently next time...)
OH AND ALSO; there are no paper maps anymore and the wifi is terrible. Everyone is on the app at the same time, so it lags and you cant see ride que times, or restaurant opening times and its just horrible. I hope they sort this out soon because it wasnt good.
We ate at the Beauty and the Beast eatery -- La Taverne De Gaston. It was a bit of a line up and the food was average at best. Disneyland, you're not my favourite today. I took Ben into FantasyLand to see Philharmagic as it was starting to rain, the weather wasnt ideal and my feet were soaked (second time on this trip... you would think I would learn LOL) AGAIN! Lucky we are staying in the Disney Resort so we could go back to the hotel to finish checking in (which took ages by the way... not our day today...) and getting changed.
Then we went BACK to Disney! Now all rugged up and with ponchos; I even managed to get Ben on a ROLLERCOASTER! We went on Big Thunder Mountain and he didn't hate it. Hehe, and then afterwards he played the shooting gallery and tried to get a perfect score. We had a turkey leg and decided to get Plasma Ray's Diner for dinner -- just as the fireworks were trying to happen. I wasnt happy that the day was over, so I walked to Ikspiari and settled on TGI Fridays where Ben inhaled 2 fishbowl cocktails, and another normal cocktail. They were only $12 though. No complaints!
