It is absolutely wild to me that some people are borderline accusing Hedland of misappropriating funds for the Acolyte because, at least to me, the neither the production value, writing, coreo nor acting were any worse than shows like Andor or the Mandalorian. But more importantly, I wonder why a show made after two very important strikes in the theatre industry may cost a bit more per episode. Like maybe, they’re actually paying people and keeping working conditions safer? And honestly, considering how much hate everyone working on the show received, I would be fully supportive of them to use their funds to go on a nice long vacation away from everything, they deserve it.

sorry this is the ONLY discourse ill allow myself to participate in post finale of agatha all along (or i fear i will lose my mind entirely), but DAMN some people out here rn after the finale being like “i’m sorry you didn’t get the agathario smut you wanted” BITCH!!!! I WASNT ASKING FOR THEM TO FUCK ON SCREEN!!!! i didn’t even need them to get together or even get any semblance of a happy ending!!! i didn’t expect a happy ending in the least tbh!!!!! but you know what i did expect? a final ending. a wrap up. a satisfying and complete finale. a conclusion that actually answers any one of my remaining questions or gave us more context for scenes that we’ve been missing context on the entire time. and i’m sorry but this finale didn’t do that at all. and it’s obviously not bury your gays but jesus christ it wasn’t a good conclusion either. at best it’s honestly a cheap set up for a season two or further content with billy that will prob include bits and pieces of agatha

The actual reason why Disney is skipping out on the One Saturday Morning nostalgia and going straight from Disney Afternoon to 2000s Disney Channel is because they're too cowardly to admit they radicalized a generation with these shows. Pepper Ann was one of the most feminist Disney cartoons ever made. Teacher's Pet was about embracing your identity even if you weren't born that way. 101 Dalmatians: The Series was about why rich people suck. Recess was about dismantling the establishment board by board.

Playing one of the old Jake and the Never Land Pirates games on Flashpoint made me realize that the game, Journey Beyond the Never Seas, makes a better finale to the show than the actual final episode.

I think one of the scenes I love the most when it comes to these Twst mangas is seeing the life of the Yuus before they ended up in twisted wonderland. You can just see their character and stuff

Yuuken’s dedication to kendo and how hard he worked to revive the kendo club, as well as how he encouraged his own club member into continuously working hard despite his inferior skills

Yuuka’s skill in Judo (unfortunately we don’t know THAT much about her yet aside from she’s a Judo master 😎, I’m waiting for more Savanaclaw manga updates ngl) and something in the manga mentioned her “return”? Did something happen to Yuuka before?? Also her forehead scar?? Will they ever explain it??

And then Yuuta’s job in his father’s Chinese restaurant. He looks so concerned about his father…

I have not posted any of my analysis to reddit yet and I think I might just post it and ghost it. I've already spent too much time looking at other people's threads on there to feel any way good about interacting with folks.

i think fgo should do a summer event that's primarily ON a cruise ship. i know that this current event has A cruise ship you're riding around on but i think they should do event that's like 90% on the ship itself. and the welfare summer nemo + one of the 5* swimsuit servants can be drake, or vice versa (though im kinda hesitant on nemo bc he's already got the santa alt but shhhh)

Hmmmm, having many thoughts about the new episode.

I really enjoyed seeing Jack Black, that was awesome. And I loved Din “petty” Djarin knocking over droids. That was fun. Still very much enjoying the season, but I am starting to get a little nervous for how it’s going to end. We’ve got, like, 2 episodes left and I’m not quite sure where we’re going with the plot.

We all assumed Din going to the Mines of Mandalore to redeem himself would be the focus off the season, but it happened in 2 episodes. We’ve gotten some fantastic insight with the covert, and even more growth with Bo Katan. But it still feels like something is missing.

I do feel like Bo reclaiming the saber by killing the creature that attacked Din to be a bit…sloppy in writing. I was hoping for something a bit more dramatic or interesting than that (we don’t even know what that thing was either. It was never explained.) I’m okay with Bo being the leader, but I was hoping to see Din get more action with the Darksaber.

Was also hoping we could get more growth between droids and Din this recent episode. He is obviously still very paranoid of them, and kind of has it out for them. Seeing the battle droids that ATTACKED his home as a kid, I was hoping we’d have something a bit more with that too. He obviously seemed very angry, but like…where’s the trauma from season 1? It obviously wasn’t cured and he’s obviously still distrustful of droids. Idk I guess I also assumed if he’d come face to face with the droids that attacked his village he’d have more of a visceral reaction.

Also thought this would give him a new perspective with droids, what with them wanting to live and make a life for themselves. Hell, I was hoping it would go into them helping him find the piece he needs for IG-11 to restore him.

It just feels like there are a lot of loose threads, and we’re getting so close to the end, I’m worried they’re not going to tie them off. I’m still enjoying this season, I’m beyond excited every Wednesday to see what happens next, but this season does feel a little all over the place.

Anyway, I’m gonna say optimistic anyway! Still looking forward to these last few episodes and still crossing my fingers that Boba shows up! I’ll withhold my entire opinion of the season until the last episode airs!

I always point out Bunk’d on the list of shows with a terrible finale (since S3 was supposed to be the last but it effectively did kill the quality of the show) but having watched the final episodes of Bunk’d that aired last night, I can now actually reaffirm that its ending is shit.

Because oh my god is it shit.
