i'm so, so excited to share this painting with you. i have officially been making art for 20 years, and i thought it would be fun to repaint the first digital work i ever made.

i have wanted to give up art so many times over the years. i'm tremendously proud of myself for sticking with it and improving as much as i have. i hope you're proud of me too! please be sure to zoom in to see all those details i worked so hard on (especially the rhinestones!!). thank you for being with me during my art journey. 20 years, 20 more 🖤

How I THINK the tbhk characters would feel about imaginary numbers

Hanako- “isn’t this math why are there letters” ass kid

Nene- ????? So confused, they give her a head ache

Kou- thinks that the one 3D graph he was shown was cool looking, does not get it

Aoi- Gets them, does not like them, I think they light a rage in her soul more than they should

Mitsuba- why would I have an opinion on a math concept???? What??

Akane- Enjoys math and imagery numbers more than one probably should (got sad when the teacher said to ignore them because we don’t go into 3D in highschool(and honestly disappointed in himself that he thinks there so cool and fun))

Teru- can use them, understands them, thinks they’re difficulty is overhyped. Does not think about them after they are one the test

Tsukasa- “WHAt????!?!?? Can I eat it!!?!!?”

Natsuhiko- “How are numbers even imaginary… what does that even mean??”

Sakura- could learn them and use them, but does not care to bother herself with that

I have now officially played all four everbyte games (that I could) and with each passing day I am more convinced they are either not real or just fucking around and I am here for it either way. (Spoilers for all everbyte gaems btw)

We got a game set in a apocalyptic world where at the end this person either kills themself or kills their brother

A game where a missing girl sends our number to her friends and we end up low-key flirting with her half brother who is a wanted hacker

A game where we solve puzzles through this kid's trauma house and we figure out their mom left them in a vent

And an AI infested version of the second game except now we got to watch as this guy searches the forest in the middle of the night and follows some old man into his Cabin in the Woods.

I have no idea what their vision is but I am honestly here for it every step of the way.

rewriting keeper has made my really notice the lack of body type diversity that i apparently wrote in as a kid. Like, your telling me everyone here is beautiful and skinny except for forkle? He’s the only fat guy in the series? Like not even the dads??

anyway, we’re making more body diversity. If anyone has any specific head canons feel free to share them.

After two and a half years of this job being way too close to what I enjoy writing to actually write anything, I’m finally starting to feel an itch to dream stories. I don’t think I’m quite ready. I’m still adjusting, still working out how to be human when I’m around regular people. But the fact it’s coming back slowly is a relief. I thought it would be gone forever.

On the bright side I now have a much better understanding stings, stake outs, bugging hardware, jail security, court house layouts, and can very accurately describe looking death in the face. The key is not to blink. You’d be surprised what a smile can get you out of.
