when you see him, you cannot help yourself but feel frightened, yet also excited— and you wonder if something has been wrong with you all along, especially when you let him get closer to you, the cold breeze outside your window bristling over the dry leaves as you're solely focusing on the view in front of you, your breathing continuing to escalate as he sinks into your warmth.

vampire diluc who proceeds slowly, parting his lips ever so slightly before pressing his sharp canines into your flesh, immersing his teeth deeper until he opens a little spot to hollow his cheeks on before making contact with a taste of metal, a taste vampire diluc was utterly familiar with— and ugh, he knew you'd taste better than any other before, he was aware that you're so special, from inside and out.

your breath hitches as a new warmth embraces you, his hands on every inch of your skin as he repeats his thrusts on you while never letting go of your flesh between his teeth— the tug on your skin was stinging a little and the feeling of getting blood pulled out of you was frankly, something you thought you never had to experience in life.

☆ diluc drabble.

THINKING ABOUT... being sat on diluc's lap, his silk handkerchief unfolded and covering your lap as it collects the scraps of the apple he carefully peels with his pocket knife.

the two of you are sat against a tree just outside the walls of mondstadt. its the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors while staying away from the public's prying eyes. when it's just you and him alone, it's as if his cold (and rather serious) exterior is melted by you; whether it be the warmth of your smile or the kindness of your heart.

his arms reach around you and his chin rests on your shoulder as he tosses the apple in his hands: once to readjust his grip, twice just to show off, impaling it with the make-shift fruit peeler whilst in mid-air. as much as you hate to admit it, a stunt like that is pretty impressive... (and definitely swoon worthy)

once satisfied with his work, diluc begins to slice the apple into bitesize wedges, cutting the now bare fruit in half 4 times over until each slice was the perfect size.

he holds a piece in front of you, and you reach out to take it, however his grip only tightens as he pries it out of your grasp. with a huff, he holds it closer to your face, prodding it gently against your lips as if to say "open wide".

hesitantly, you part your lips, leaning forward slightly to take a bite, and archons, the taste was heavenly. it was just the right amount of sweet, with a little hint of sourness, and a satisfying crunch. truth be told, diluc spent hours trying to find the perfect apple, and then another 15 minutes choosing a hiding spot secret enough so that you wouldn't notice it was unattached to the tree, but visible enough for the act to be somewhat believable.

in his eyes, you deserve nothing less than the best, and he'd be disappointed in himself if he ever gave you any less. he loves you more than words could ever express, but will never run short of ways to show you he cares...

synopsis: both of you notice things about each other all the time, especially when you both do your morning and night routines together. you know the exact steps he prefers when it comes to shaving his face, and diluc knows how you like to curl your hair.

a/n: um... pretend this came out yesterday because i literally FORGOT. then as i started writing, the og idea i had gradually faded out and i felt like i was on something as i continued... (ihateit) 😁

"hold still..." your fingers graze his jaw as you avoid directly touching the shaving cream spread all over his face. you make an attempt to raise the razor to his cheek again, but your hand shakes as you giggle for no apparent reason.

your husband can only huff as you fail for the umpteenth time to make a start on shaving his face, something that you asked to do. "i am still, darling." diluc lowly responds, his eyes glancing at your combined reflection. "or are you searching for an excuse to make me talk?"

"maybe." you hum, and quickly shake the excitement out of you as you press the metal to his skin. slowly, slowly, and with a light grip, you move the razor from his cheekbone down to his jaw. "oh! it came off smooth this time!" you turn his head to the side so he can take a look himself.

he softly smiles at the sight, finding your effort nothing but adorable. "good job." he praises you. "continue like that."

and continue you did. throughout, he constantly encouraged you and gave you advice. you insisted on washing his face too, but he wanted to do that himself. you've already done enough for him.

after he's done, he dries off his hands. "it's your turn." you can feel his warmth spread into your shoulders as he guides you to stand in front of him. diluc enjoyed doing your hair, mostly because it prevents you from getting shoulder and neck pain, but also because he's used to taking care of hair. have you seen his? a huge handful, but he manages. "anything specific you want me to do?"

"hm..." placing your hand on your chin, you pretend to think for a bit, though your choice was already set in stone. "can you make my hair look like yours?"

diluc raises an eyebrow. "like mine?" he pauses looking through the sink drawers.

"like fluffy. and a ponytail!"

"that will be... difficult, honey. are you—?" the two of you hold eye contact for just a split second, but he knows your facial expressions all too well. "you are sure. fine. i'll try."

"with the pink curlers?"

you and diluc have been together since you were both teens and he’d never trade you out for anything or anyone. You both shared embarrassing, awful, funny and horrible memories but in a relationship, ESPECIALLY a long term one, there will be hardships but love easily overcomes it.

he thought it was time to finally wed you and give you his last name and hopefully a family. It’s been years that you both called each other ‘boyfriend and girlfriend’ you never complained about not being married yet or him not proposing. He just didn’t want you to jump to conclusions or think wrong— marriage is a big commitment.

you knew donna to be the florist inside mondstadts wall, you never conversated with her. Just a quick hi or hello or a chat about flowers. You furrowed your eyebrows as you tried to focus on your drawing. Your hair kept falling in the way so you had to stop every so often to tuck it back behind your ear. It was adding onto your already growing headache.

You groaned in annoyance as your hair fell back down for the nth time today. You tucked it behind your ear again harshly, failing to notice the approaching footsteps of someone.

You felt a pair of gloved hands grab your hair, causing you to tense up.

"You should tie your hair up", came the familiar voice, causing you to relax.

You breathed out a sigh, "Thank you, it was staying everywhere except from behind my ear."

Diluc nodded from behind you as you felt him finish tying up your hair. "Of course, I'm glad I could help."

He was glad that there wasn't any mirrors around or else you would see him as red as his hair. Diluc was so caught up in your hair's scent, it smelled something akin to roses and vanilla. "Done."

You turned around and went to thank him, but he was already walking away, his hand covering his face. You furrowed your brows in confusion, but then shrugged and went back to your drawings.

The tavern was packed tonight. Patrons filled every inch, bomoed into one another without a care. Normally you would have avoided coming here on a busier night but it had been a while since you went out, and your friends were pretty convincing. Still, as you waited in line for something to drink, you started to wonder if it was even worth it. Why was it so loud in here.

"Thank you," you said with a smile to Charles who acknowledged you for a split second before moving onto another patron. Bartending was no joke; you'd make sure to leave him an extra big tip next time. "Excuse me," you repeated as you passed through the sea of bodies. They didn't pay much attention to you but you managed without their help. Until, that is, you got to the staircase.

A line had formed to get to the second floor, but no one was moving. People staggered back and forth on the steps, blocked the traffic from moving up while a steady stream filtered down. If you wanted to get back to your table, you were going to have to wait, or ask a bit more forcefully.

"Sorry, I just want to squeeze past you," you tried to stay polite, to smile and laugh a little as you spoke but the tavern noise drowned you out. You managed to get a few steps up but that was about it. "Um, sorry ..." you tapped someone on the shoulder and as soon as they turned to look at you, a wave of people pushed down the steps and you felt yourself slip.

You shouted in surprise, reaching for the rail to catch yourself. The solid sole of your shoe slid across the polished wood floor making it impossible to stop yourself. You were going to hit the ground, hard. Mentally you prepared for it but what actually happened threw it all out the window.

You crashed into something, but it wasn't the floor. It was sturdy, had arms that caught you and held you upright, held a warmth that permeated through your clothes. When you opened your eyes to see what it was, you froze.

Diluc Ragnvindr was holding you, his sharp jaw and vibrant hair were inches from your face. You could see a scowl slowly develop on his features, feel his hand grip your right arm tightly, feel the heat of his palm on your waist. Your heart was pounding. Where did he even come from?

"Be more aware of yourselves," he scolded, adding quickly, "If you continue to choose to loiter in my establishment, I will ask you to leave." Diluc's tone sent a shock through the crowd, several soft apologies drifted down toward him as they hurridly scattered up or down the staircase. A few people looked at you causing you to shy away. "Are you hurt?" He asked after the crowd dissipated, and helped you stand upright again. His arm stretched out beside you to act as your support and barrier to those passing by.

"I don't think so ..." Instinctually, you placed your hand on Diluc's arm. Somehow it felt even more sturdy than the railing he was holdin onto. As you examined yourself, tested your ankles for injury, you noticed the drink you were holding spilled and had stained your brand new shirt. "... that sucks," you huffed, rolling your eyes as you pulled on the wet fabric to help it dry.

"I'll pay for it to be cleaned," he said, pointedly.

"Oh no - it was my fault." You threw up your hand in protest but he was already ushering you toward office door next to the bar. With ease he took the drink in your hand, careful with his touch, and quickly placed it on the counter. "Um-"

"I'll make you another," he explained before escorting you the rest of the way. He opened the office door, gesturing for you to enter and when you were inside, he pulled on the door leaving it slightly ajar. "I apologize for the damage to your clothes."

"It's really alright. You really don't need to apologize." You waved him off, "Nor do you need to do more than what you've already done."

"I don't mind."

"Yes but ..." he paused, glancing at you from the corner of his eyes. His presence was so intimidating even if he didn't mean too. It was no wonder you swallowed your words at the intensity of his glance. Nervous, you began to pick at your nails. Somehow it was harder to breathe in this small, empty room than it was out there in the bustling crowd. "So, um ..." find something to fill the quiet before your heart explodes, "is it usually this rowdy?"

"Not normally. I suspect the warming weather has a part to play." The clinking of metal created a steady beat in the office. There was a ticking clock behind you which drew your attention to the wall. Accolades, awards, and other accommodations covered it until there was hardly space anymore. Newspaper clippings that seemed older than you were carefully covered by a pane of glass. One in particular caught your eye - an older man who bore a striking resemblance to Diluc was standing next to the entrance to Angel's Share. His smile was bright, proud. You'd never met Crepus but based on how the townspeaple spoke of him, he looked exatly like you imagined. "This should do," Diluc's voice drew you back, in his hands was a small pouch that he offered to you.

You took a few steps toward him, your eyes landing everywhere but on his face. The pouch was heavy; this was far too much. "Thank you, I'll return the rest of it."

"No need,"

"Diluc," you looked at him, head tilted and eyes narrowing to express your displeasure.

Surprisingly, he gave in, "If you insist."

"I do," you said with a small smile. He nodded and placed the rest of the mora back into a lockbox. "Honestly, It's nice of you to even offer. I wouldn't have asked you, you know."

"Mmmhm," Diluc turned to reach the doorknob before you could so you paused to let him but he was taking his time. Confused, you looked behind you to see if there was something you knocked over or disrupted that made his falter. "Are you headed home?" He asked unexpectedly, fingers wrapped securly around the doorknob, the crack in the door growing smaller as if he wanted to keep this part of the conversation private.

Diluc's jaw clenched, he looked past you as if lost in thought before returning to focus on your very warm face. You'd never been this close to him before, nor alone with him this long. At most you chatted with him while a bar top separated you, or you spoke pleasantries when passing each other in the city. This was one of the more intimate interactions you had with him. you didn't want it to end - you were being greedy.

"When you are ready to leave, come find me. I'll escort you home." Naturally you wanted to protest, tell him that was far too much but something in his intense stare told you to let it be. Your breathing sped up, your heart started to pound wildly again. Did he have any idea how much he effected you?

"Okay," you replied, eyes searching his until you landed on his lips right as they turned upward.

"Take you're time, I'll be ready whenever you are."

Nodding, you stepped through the door but as you re-entered the bustling tavern you turned back to him, catching him by surprise.

"I'm ready now," you confessed, hands wringing around the edge of your shirt. Diluc had yet to close the door, hadn't even turned toward you. He was frozen in place, and you held your breath waiting for his next move.

With ease, he closed and locked the office before closing the distance between you and raising his arm toward the back door.

"Let's head out the back," he suggested, moving his body so you could walk past him. Giddy, elated, nervous, you took a step, felt the warmth of his palm against your back as he sheparded you onward.

The cool night air rushed through your hair, the scent of rain -kissed flowers filled your nose as you stepped in the back alley, unafraid.

"You still owe me a drink though," you teased, voice timid even though you were trying to be brave.

Diluc chuckled which sounded so perfect in the quiet of the evening, "Of course," he affirmed as the two of you headed away from the boistrous noise flooding out of Angel's Share and making your own in comforting conversation.

planning to get up early to surprise diluc with a birthday breakfast, only to find yourself unable to move in his cocoon like hold. trying to untangle yourself without waking him up results in a success as you sneak away to the kitchen.

wondering if "pile 'em up" would be too much for a breakfast, you get distracted by the window showing the sun beginning to peak above the horizon, not noticing the padding of steps behind you. letting out a soft gasp as arms wrap around you from the back, you then lean back into his warm embrace.

you two stand there watching the sunrise without a care in the world but each other. because as they say, "long nights are always followed by a magnificent sunrise."

A/N: Hi every kiddo! took awhile off but nowww Im back! I hope you all had a nice September! had a 0-3 regression age in mind, nothing explicitly stated.

"Darling, are you cold?" Your boyfriend Diluc asks, smiling, you had just come back from Dragonspine with Albedo to perform some experiments with the traveler. "A-A bit," You say, before sneezing, it had been a while since you last regressed,

and you were beginning to feel especially drained. you begin to walk over towards Diluc.

He took your hand, you were freezing cold and your fingers were a bright red.

"Meine Liebe… are you sure you're just a 'bit' cold?" Diluc asks, kissing your cold fingers. You nod in response.

"I-I'm okay" You sniffle, feeling the weight of the stress crash down on you and you begin crying.

"Sweetheart…" He mumbles, holding out his arms to give you a tight, warm hug, you obviously hug back, wanting some source of comfort.

"Shh, it's okay meine liebe…" Diluc mutters in your ear, "Do you need to go small, baby?" You smile and nod, glad your boyfriend was so caring.

"Okay little one, I'll start the fireplace, okay?" He asks, you nod back, "Do you want your baba baby?" he inquires. "Wes pwease…" You say, nodding.

"Okay baby, go get your baba, it can be whichever one you want- even the one that is hard to clean," Diluc says as you skip away to go and get your bottle, skipping quickly towards the kitchen.

You get a bottle with blue and purple stars on it and quickly pour milk and some sugar in it, swirling it all around with a metal spoon. you swiftly put it into the microwave, and when you try to get it out, Diluc walks in, chuckling softly.

"You're too small to do that by yourself, meine liebe!" He gets the bottle out and picks both you and the bottle up.

He lays you in his lap, smiling before putting the bottle to your lips, tapping it a few times to tell you to open up, you did just that.

"There we go… thereee we go little one," Diluc says as you begin to suck on the bottle's nipple, tasting the sugary-sweetened milk. It was nice and warm, you loved it, and you sucked that bottle down. He giggles softly.

"Would you like to go nini yet, meine liebe?" He asks and you nod rapidly, ready to go to bed.

"Okay baby, wanna sleep with papa?"

"Wes pwease." You say, doing grabby hands to him.

Diluc picks you up and takes you to his bed, you two begin to cuddle until you both fall asleep.
