Everytime i hear this mans voice i feel like im watching honey crystalize or paint dry or cheese Very Slowly grow moldy

Like i know im overreacting but i cant focus on this?? I have to do 30 hours and its like every time i start watching one of the videos my brain turns off and i cant focus on what hes saying i hate online learning stuff so much

i dont care if i have to go to a classroom just make me learn this in literally any other way than listening to this man reading aloud multiple choice questions from a weirdly formatted slideshow for 30 minutes straight with the crunchiest audio known to man

#the brainrot!!! so strong. anyways. fellas is it gay to confront the woman dating your ex when there's super high tension #anyway!!! highschool(?) modern au where the popular girl/ queen bee is whoever resident king henry is dating.. hm..#oh the tension between someone who used to serve you. now having taken your place. and you knowing the ins and out of that position..#especially that it's not all it's cooked up to be!! lots of thoughts about this au #art-wise i drew these as storyboards before i realised i cant video format well without audio so they're just here in storyboard form #i drew these in sketchy drafts and then in sketchbook then spent 2h lining them digitally bc the scans were yikes. anyways. i lost a frame #somewhere and it was before the “you deserve better” and it was like. “take it from someone who knows #fun fact!! i showed this to multiple irl friends without dialogue as i was drawing it. neither of them know the characters but.#immediately pinpointed exes vibes. and enemies to lovers. and basically homoerotic arguing tension.#remarkably pleased at how that was conveyed (and also amused. i love my friends). anyway if i were to do this again? then i'd draw in the #frames instead of re-doing the sizing after tracing. yikes that was an experience.#anyway!! i haven't played sims yet today.

Which would be more of an achievement if i hadn't, instead, spent every free moment making/reworking spreadsheets to play Sims with.

#random stuff #you can ignore this #ultimate decades challenge introduced me to keeping track of sims via spreadsheets #and as someone who often abandons saves b/c i forget what's happening after a while of inactivity #this was amazing #so i spent a lot of the day reworking and formatting spreadsheets to do just that for my regular gameplay #i'm actually really proud of it lol #it has dropdown menues and keeps track of the stats across several joined spreadsheets #and has a pie chart!#that changes with the stats!!#(i want to add more of them but i kinda stumbled into that one lol)#if i keep this up i'll end up learning enough to make this a marketable skill #though i'd never be able to admit i learned it to keep track of digital people in a video game lol

I thought I'd share some of my painting process with you! Here's the initial sketch/colour key for the Gold Rush painting:

It's messy, but does the job of quickly establishing my composition, colours, and lighting. Next step is the lineart (done on top in a new layer):

This stage is quite time-intensive, as I'm constantly erasing and redrawing details that aren't quite right.

I changed the composition a little in this stage, as I wanted to increase the distance between Maedhros and the viewer.

Now onto the painting:

I blocked in the main colour groupings (firey background, the foreground in shadow, and the characters in between) before beginning to paint in the details. I wanted to keep the painting quite loose, with a focus on light.

I often leave the central focus of a painting until last - in this case, Maedhros and Feanor. I also added a smoke effect on a layer above the lineart.

After that, it was just a matter of making small tweaks (in particular, refining the details of Maedhros' face) to get to the final image:
