Today, fresh from the Vasquez-Trueheart Q&A at Animate x Nightmare Weekend Des Moines: SIZZ-LORR, SCARS, and HOW TO AVOID GREASE BURNS!
So I got two different answers for the origin of Sizz-Lorr's scar
Of course, meta wise, Jhonen never planned any sort of origin story for Sizz-Lorr; the meta answer is "cool scar = cool character design." That being said, I was banking on Jhonen or Eric just making something up and I'm very glad that they did.
Jhonen's answer is that Sizz-Lorr just got it from grease splashing in his eye
However, Eric's input was that he likes the idea of Sizz-Lorr getting it from some sort of war (YAYY MY HEADCANON!)
So I'm just gonna infer that Sizz-Lorr was in a war at some point, but the big eye scar was totally from a stupid grease burn

I'm still stuck thinking about the fact that that is the softest voice I've ever heard Quackity speak in, especially for a long period of time.
It just. Aouuhhggh. That's all I can say.
He sounded so broken and lost and uncertain, like at first it was like he didn't really even know how to speak, or maybe he was just afraid to hear his own voice after spending so much time surrounded by the gentle quietness of the water he'd been submerged in.
I mean, imagine how much of a shock that must've been to go from pretty much complete sensory deprivation to suddenly being forced out of the calm water into a sickeningly steril environment with bright florescent lights and too-white walls.
No wonder he wanted to just stay in the water, and even when he was above he literally made a little wool cave thing to hide in :( it was so pathetic to watch and I mean that in the nicest way possible

i like to imagine that sometime in between ep7 and ep8, charlie takes vaggie to cannibal town to help train some of the residents who will fight in the upcoming extermination, and while visiting vaggie sees the kid she spared and maybe gets to have a proper conversation with him and/or his family
