A Royal Surprise
Max Verstappen x Princess of Wales!Reader
Summary: in which Max 1) forgot to tell his team that he has a girlfriend and 2) forgot to tell his team that the girlfriend in question is the future Queen of England … oops?
One of Red Bull Racing’s PR officers, Leslie, sits in the back of the conference room, her pen poised over her notepad as she listens to the team debrief. It’s a typical Thursday morning, with engineers and drivers discussing the upcoming race weekend. Leslie’s eyes flit between Max Verstappen and his teammate as they offer their insights on car performance and track conditions.
“The balance felt off in turn three during the sim,” Max says, leaning back in his chair. “We might need to adjust the downforce.”
Leslie jots this down, already planning how to phrase it for the press conference later that afternoon. Just another normal day at Red Bull Racing, she thinks.
But then, Max casually adds, “Oh, and by the way, you might see some extra security around this weekend. My girlfriend’s coming to watch the race.”
Leslie’s pen stills. There’s something in Max’s tone that makes her look up sharply.
“Girlfriend?” Christian Horner raises an eyebrow. “I didn’t know you were seeing anyone seriously.”
Max shrugs, a small smile playing on his lips. “Yeah, it’s been a few months now. We’ve been keeping it quiet.”
Leslie leans forward, her PR senses tingling. “Anyone we know?” She asks, trying to keep her voice casual.
Max’s grin widens. “You could say that. It’s Y/N.”
The room falls silent. Leslie blinks, sure she must have misheard. “I’m sorry, did you say Y/N? As in ...”
“The Princess of Wales, yeah,” Max confirms, as if he’s just mentioned dating a local girl from down the street.
Leslie’s notepad slips from her fingers, clattering to the floor. The sound seems to break the spell of silence that’s fallen over the room.
“Max,” Christian says slowly, “are you telling us that you’re dating the future Queen of England?”
Max nods, still looking far too relaxed for someone who’s just dropped a bombshell of international proportions. “That’s right.”
Leslie’s mind is spinning. Images of tabloid headlines and diplomatic incidents flash before her eyes. She stands up abruptly, her chair scraping against the floor. “I need to make some calls,” she says weakly.
But before she can escape, Christian holds up a hand. “Wait, Leslie. We need to handle this carefully. Max, how long has this been going on?”
“About six months,” Max replies. “We met at a charity event in London. Hit it off right away.”
Leslie sinks back into her chair, her head in her hands. “Six months,” she mutters. “You’ve been dating the Princess of Wales for six months, and we’re just finding out now?”
Max has the grace to look a bit sheepish. “We wanted to keep it private for as long as possible. You know how it is with the media.”
Oh, Leslie knows. She knows all too well. “Max,” she says, trying to keep her voice steady, “do you realize what this means? The security implications alone ...”
“It’s all been taken care of,” Max assures her. “The palace has been very discreet.”
Leslie laughs, a slightly hysterical edge to it. “The palace. Of course. Because now we’re dealing with actual palaces.”
Christian clears his throat. “Right. Well, this certainly changes things. Leslie, I think we’re going to need to reschedule the rest of this meeting. Can you get started on a press strategy?”
Leslie nods numbly, her mind already racing with potential scenarios and damage control plans.
As the room begins to clear, Max approaches her. “Leslie? Are you okay? You look a bit pale.”
Leslie takes a deep breath. “Max, I appreciate you telling us. But next time you decide to date royalty, maybe give us a heads up a bit sooner?”
Max chuckles. “Sorry about that. If it helps, you’re handling it better than your counterpart at the palace did when you found out.”
“Oh God,” Leslie groans. “I’m going to have to coordinate with the royal PR team, aren’t I?”
“They’re actually pretty cool,” Max says. “A bit stuffy at first, but they loosen up after a while.”
Leslie shakes her head in disbelief. “I can’t believe this is my life now. Okay, Max, I need you to tell me everything. How did you meet? How have you kept this secret? What are the security arrangements?”
For the next hour, Leslie grills Max on every detail of his relationship with you. She learns about secret rendezvous in Monaco, carefully orchestrated “chance” meetings at public events, and the challenges of dating someone whose every move is scrutinized by the world.
“And you’re sure about this?” Leslie asks finally. “Dating her ... it’s not exactly going to be easy for you.”
Max’s expression softens. “I know. But she’s worth it. We’re worth it.”
Despite her stress, Leslie feels a twinge of sympathy. It can’t be easy, trying to nurture a relationship under such intense pressure.
“Alright,” she sighs. “I’ll do everything I can to make this as smooth as possible. But Max, promise me one thing?”
“What’s that?”
“No more bombshells, okay? My heart can’t take it.”
Max grins. “Well, actually ...”
Leslie’s eyes widen in alarm. “What? What is it now?”
“Her father ... he’s a big F1 fan. He’s been hinting that he’d like to attend a race.”
The room starts to spin. The last thing Leslie hears before everything goes black is Max’s concerned voice saying, “Leslie? Leslie, are you okay?”
When Leslie comes to, she’s lying on the conference room couch, with Max and Christian hovering over her anxiously.
“Oh good, you’re awake,” Christian says, relief evident in his voice. “You gave us quite a scare there, Leslie.”
Leslie sits up slowly, her head still spinning. “Please tell me I dreamed all of that,” she mutters.
Max shakes his head, looking apologetic. “Sorry, it’s all real. Are you okay? Should we call a doctor?”
Leslie waves him off. “No, no, I’m fine. Just ... processing.” She takes a deep breath, her PR training kicking in despite her shock. “Okay. Let’s take this one step at a time. First, we need to draft a statement.”
Christian nods. “Good idea. What are you thinking?”
Leslie stands up, pacing as she thinks out loud. “We need to confirm the relationship without making too big a deal of it. Something like ... ‘Red Bull Racing confirms that driver Max Verstappen is in a relationship with Her Royal Highness, the Princess of Wales. We ask for privacy as they navigate this new chapter.’”
Max frowns. “Isn’t that a bit ... formal?”
Leslie sighs. “Max, you’re dating the future Queen of England. Everything’s going to be a bit formal from now on.”
“She hates that, you know,” Max says softly. “All the formality. It’s why she likes being with me. I treat her like a normal person.”
Leslie pauses in her pacing, struck by the vulnerability in Max’s voice. “You really care about her, don’t you?”
Max nods. “More than I’ve ever cared about anyone. She’s ... she’s amazing. Smart, funny, kind. When I’m with her, I forget about all the titles and protocol. She’s just ... her.”
Christian clears his throat, looking uncomfortable with the display of emotion. “That’s all well and good, but we need to think about the bigger picture here. This relationship could have major implications for the team, for Formula 1 as a whole.”
Leslie nods, her mind already racing ahead. “We’ll need to coordinate with the palace on all public appearances. Security will need to be completely overhauled. And the media ... oh God, the media is going to have a field day with this.”
“Hey,” Max says, placing a hand on Leslie’s shoulder. “We’ll figure it out. You’re the best in the business, Leslie. If anyone can handle this, it’s you.”
Despite her stress, Leslie feels a rush of affection for the young driver. “Thanks. I appreciate that. Now, let’s get back to work. We have a lot to do before this news breaks.”
As they settle back into planning mode, Leslie can’t help but shake her head in disbelief. A Formula 1 driver and a princess. It sounds like something out of a fairy tale or a cheesy romance novel. But as she watches Max’s face light up when he talks about you, she realizes that sometimes, reality is stranger — and more romantic — than fiction.
“Oh, and Leslie?” Max adds as they’re wrapping up. “About the King wanting to attend a race ...”
Leslie holds up a hand. “One crisis at a time, Max. Let’s get through announcing your relationship before we start planning any more royal visits to the paddock, okay?”
Max grins. “Fair enough. But just so you know, he’s particularly interested in the British Grand Prix. Says it would be ‘jolly good fun’ to present the trophies.”
Leslie closes her eyes, already imagining the logistical nightmare. “Max, I swear, if you’re joking ...”
“Would I joke about something like this?” Max asks innocently.
Leslie looks at him for a long moment, then turns to Christian. “I’m going to need a raise. And possibly a personal team of therapists.”
Christian chuckles. “I think that can be arranged. Welcome to the new era of Red Bull Racing. It’s going to be an interesting ride.”
As Leslie gathers her notes and prepares to face the whirlwind that’s about to engulf them all, she can’t help but smile slightly. It’s going to be challenging, stressful, and probably more than a little crazy. But as she watches Max’s eyes light up at the mention of your name, she realizes that maybe, just maybe, it might all be worth it in the end.
After all, who doesn’t love a good fairy tale?

Through Me (The Flood) - secret baby fic Simon Riley/female reader
Simon knows suffering. He knows what it looks like, what it sounds like, what it feels like. He knows the fine line humans walk before they break and shatter, the cusp of control that is lost in the face of agony.
And right now, he sees it all over your face. Suffering.
"She's started walking," he murmurs, balancing Phoenix next to your thigh on the bed, sleepy and curled around the crux of his elbow, "kind of. She holds onto the couch and tables and stuff to cruise around."
"That's... great." The words are devoid of life, mirroring the dead look in your eyes, the one that's been there since you woke up a few days ago.
"Do you want to hold her? While she naps?" You shake your head immediately.
"No, I don't think... I'm really weak. I don't think I could hold her up." It's understandable. You've lost all muscle mass, mobility, strength. You can't walk to the bathroom, or hold a spoon for too long. You lose your words, your train of thought.
But that's not what this is. This is something else.
Still, he has to try.
"Well, I could..." He trails off, heart sinking at the look of panic in your eyes, the way you trace the knuckle of your ring finger subconsciously. It's a tic you've developed over night, one he's not sure you're even aware of.
"I'm tired." You won't look at him, picking a spot on your lap instead, lower lip tucked between your teeth.
"Okay, honey, that's alright. You don't have to." You reach for him, shaky hand trying to find his and he rushes to take it, rub his thumb over the back of your knuckles, squeeze you as tight as you can stand. "Do you want to get some rest?" You give him a nervous look, but nod.
"You'll be here? When I wake up?" His heart breaks.
"Of course."
No one was prepared for what would happen when you woke up and discovered you weren't pregnant anymore. The therapist warned him, but he was too focused on willing you to open your eyes everyday. He didn't listen, and he should have. He'll never forget the terror in your eyes, the way you pressed your hands to your stomach, how quickly you became hysterical, lost in the fear that Phoenix was gone.
The only thing you could say was "I tried, I tried" on a loop, a broken record stuck in the past. You tried to protect them, you told him, you tried to keep them safe. He held your face between his hands and forced you to look at him, but you weren't there, you weren't with him, and nothing he did or said got through to you. You were in that cold concrete box, tied to a chair, trying to protect your baby while a man was cutting your finger off. He told you Phoenix was fine, more than fine, that everything was okay, but it fell on deaf ears.
You only calmed down when they gave you a sedative, and he barely made it out of the room before he vomited in a trash can.
The next time you woke, it was to a therapist and Simon, Cami and Gaz down the hall with both of the kids. Waiting.
"A girl?" Simon squeezes your hand.
"A beautiful, healthy little girl. She's perfect." You blink.
"She's okay?" You were crying, big fat tears dripping down your cheeks, and he wanted to hold you so badly, but he had to get through this next part, and if he tugged you into his chest, he'd fall apart.
"She's okay mama. She's amazing." He glances at the therapist, who nods. "You had a c-section, shortly after you got here."
"I did?" You tug at the sheets immediately, pulling the gown up over your hips to look at your belly. "Oh." You sniffle, staring at yourself. The incision healed perfectly, but even a perfect wound still leaves a scar, and you glance between him and the therapist anxiously, who says your name quietly.
"I want you to take a deep breath," she coaches, waiting for you to do as she asks before continuing, "you've been here for over a year. Phoenix, your daughter, will be turning one soon. Orion is four." Your eyes widen.
"What? No... no that's not... " You start to shake, looking at Simon with wide, scared eyes. "Simon?"
"It's been over a year, sweetheart." It burns on his tongue, but he promised to reaffirm it, to help solidify it as your reality. "But everyone is okay, you're okay. You're healthy, and Phoenix is healthy, and everything is-"
"Where are they? Orion and... Phoenix?" He glances at the therapist, who nods again.
"They're here. Do you want to see them?" You hold onto him like a lifeline.
"Yeah."
The hard part was supposed to be over. Orion ran into your room so fast, and you smiled so big Simon's knees went weak, his knuckles white on the rail of the hospital bed. His son curled up in your lap just like he'd been doing for the last year and cried, clinging to you. He covered you in tears and snot, and all you did was hold him closer and bury your nose in his hair.
But when you saw the baby in Cami's arms, you turned into a ghost. "There she is," Cami bounced her, "there's your mama."
The look on your face was devastating. Gaz, thankfully, noticed it as fast as Simon did, and stepped halfway in front of Cami, stopping her from getting closer. "Let's take a breath," He murmured, looking back at where you sat shell-shocked in the bed.
"That's Nixie mama." Orion announces, matter of fact, just as he does everything else nowadays, and you shake your head.
"She's... she's beautiful." Your fingers twisted together. "I uh... sorry, I'm just..."
"It's okay." Simon pressed his lips to your temple, and you leaned into the touch.
"I'm sorry," you choked, fully crying now, still holding Orion, your grip tightening. "I don't know what's wrong with me."
"It's alright honey, it's okay." He stroked your cheek, trying to calm you.
"Ouch mama, too tight." You let go of him like you were holding a hot pan, almost frantically, suddenly nervous. Scared.
"Let's give mama a break, okay? I think Uncle Gaz promised you a trip to the playground right?" Simon scooped him up, trying to hold him still as he thrashed.
"No!" He cried, trying to wriggle free. "No! I want to stay with mama, I want to stay, daddy stop!"
"She'll be here when you get back, little man." He was at a loss, saved only when Gaz pulled Orion from his arms and practically dragged him kicking and screaming out the door.
Once he was gone, your cries turned into sobs so heavy you needed an oxygen mask, and he spent the rest of the night holding you in his arms, long after you fell asleep.
"Hey."
"Hey." You immediately make room for him to lay down. He's bigger than the bed, but it's never stopped him from being beside you, and it won't stop him now.
He only went home to get the kids bathed, fed, and down for bed, letting Gaz know he'd relieve him again in a few hours. It was routine. Had been for a year. Cami and Gaz practically living at the house, swapping out weeks with Soap, everyone rotating so Simon could spend as much time at the hospital as possible. When they were gone, he made it work, but broke apart every time he couldn't be here, with you. The idea of you waking up without him made him physically ill, so he even enlisted someone from the next town over.
He was desperate.
Now, he's desperate in a different way.
"I think..." you're half asleep, and he kisses your hair, "tomorrow I'll do better."
"There's no rush. You've only been awake for a week. It takes time."
"I want to do better." He tightens his hold. "I promise I will." He's told you no one expects you to be okay or emotionally ready for any of this overnight. You're confused, you're stressed, and your guilt is eating you alive.
It's his fault at the end of the day. Everything you're going through, everything you will go through, your trauma, the PTSD, the things he knows are coming, all of it... the weight is on him.
"You do what you can. I'll be here for the rest." It's no question, he'd give his entire life for you. Lay down and die for you.
"Promise?"
"I promise."

after hours
Joel Miller has been yours for a month now, and while things between you are steady, Jackson’s demands have kept you too busy for his liking. Missing you fiercely, Joel decides to pick you up after a late night, only for his mood to sour when Paul monopolizes your time. What starts as a simple check-in turns into something much more when Joel finally gets you alone or well... the other way around.
Warnings: MDNI, 18+, Sub!Joel, Dom!fem!reader, explicit sexual content, oral (m! and f! receiving), throat fucking, Joel nearly getting rimmed (not quite yet, though - we getting there), Joel kissing your feet for a sec, jealousy (hello, Paul), office sex kinda, praise kink, Joel being a desperate, needy mess, - and soft emotional moments because I'm nice
This can be read as a standalone but officially its part two of ma'am.
7k. Enjoy!
· · ───────────𖥸──────────· ··
The sun had long since set, casting Jackson in a blanket of cool twilight. Joel sat at the small kitchen table in his house, staring down at the unlit candle sitting in front of him.
He turned it slowly between his rough fingers, the faint scent of something warm and sweet drifting up to him- something that reminded him of you.
He’d found it earlier on patrol, tucked away in an abandoned cabin, and the moment the smell hit him, you’d been all he could think about.
The softness of it, the quiet comfort - it was you to him. He wasn’t sure why he picked it up, not at first.
Gifts weren’t exactly something he knew how to give anymore, and hell, he didn’t even know if it was too early for something like this. A month together wasn’t long, but for Joel, it felt like something impossible.
You had slipped into his life like sunlight, warm and steady, breaking through cracks he didn’t know were there. In just a month, you’d pulled him out of a place he thought he’d never leave, and it scared him sometimes - how much he cared. How much he wanted to hold onto you.
But lately, Jackson had taken up so much of your time. You still saw each other - quiet dinners, soft conversations, and kisses stolen in the fading light of day but that’s all there had been.
Between long shifts, late nights, and endless meetings, you’d been stretched thin, and Joel could see it. He didn’t resent you for it - how could he? You were the heart of this place, keeping everything and everyone steady. It was just…
He missed you.
And tonight, when the clock struck well past 11, and you still hadn’t come home, something in him stirred. Joel wasn’t the type to chase someone down, but tonight, he couldn’t just sit in the quiet house anymore.
With a deep sigh, he grabbed his jacket, stuffing the candle carefully into his pocket. The cold air bit at his skin as he stepped out onto the gravel path, boots crunching softly as he made his way toward the main building where he knew you’d still be.
As he climbed the stairs and spotted the warm light glowing from beneath your office door, he felt some of the tension ease in his chest.
You were safe. Good. But then he heard it—soft voices, yours and another man’s - Paul.
Joel paused just outside, his jaw clenching. He didn’t mean to eavesdrop, but something about it—about how Paul’s voice carried that too-familiar tone, how your own voice stayed calm and professional - made his teeth grind.
Paul. Joel knew exactly who he was, young, good-looking, dependable. Always where you were, always taking up your time. Joel resented him for it. Not because he didn’t trust you, but because he was damn sure Paul wanted you - how could he not? Hell, Joel figured everyone did.
You were strong, beautiful, impossible to ignore.
And Joel? He still didn’t quite know how he’d gotten lucky enough to have you, and it ate at him, hearing Paul’s voice when he wanted to see and talk to you so badly himself.
His brow furrowed, and he stopped just outside the slightly ajar door.
“- appreciate the update, Paul,” you were saying, your voice calm and professional. “We’ll make adjustments to the roster tomorrow morning.”
“Of course,” Paul replied, his tone polite but with a hint of familiarity that set Joel’s teeth on edge.
Joel peeked through the crack in the door and felt his chest tighten.
You were leaning partially against your desk, your posture relaxed but commanding, your sleeves pushed up to your elbows as you gestured toward a stack of papers in front of you.
The soft lamplight illuminated your face, highlighting the curve of your jaw, the way your blouse clung just right.
You looked… god, you looked so fucking good.
Too good.
Joel’s jaw worked as he stepped into the doorway, his hand gripping the frame. He didn’t say anything, just stood there, his presence heavy and awkward.
You glanced up at him, your brow furrowing slightly in confusion. “Joel?”
He shifted on his feet, his gaze flicking between you and Paul, unsure of what to say. His fists clenched at his sides, and he suddenly felt out of place, like he was intruding.
Paul turned to look at him as well, his expression polite but curious. “Evening, Joel,” he said with a nod.
Joel gave a tight nod in return, his lips pressing into a thin line as he struggled to think of something to say. But his gaze kept drifting back to you - your relaxed posture, the slight smirk tugging at your lips as you studied him.
You tilted your head, your eyes narrowing slightly as you read the situation.
“I think we can wrap up for tonight, Paul,” you said smoothly, your voice taking on a sharper edge. “We’ll revisit this tomorrow.”
Paul blinked, glancing between the two of you before nodding. “Sure. Have a good night.”
You waited until Paul had gathered his things and stepped out of the office before turning your full attention to Joel. Crossing your arms, you leaned back against the desk, one brow arched as you studied him.
“Well?” you said, your tone light but teasing. “What’s on your mind, Miller?”
Joel shuffled his feet, his eyes darting to the floor. “Didn’t mean to interrupt,” he muttered, his voice gruff. “Just… you were workin’ late. Wanted to check on you.”
Your lips curved into a slow smile, and you pushed off the desk, stepping toward him. “And here I thought you were giving Paul the stink eye,” you teased, stopping just in front of him.
Joel’s ears burned, and his hand came up to rub the back of his neck. “Wasn’t givin’ him anythin’,” he mumbled, his gaze stubbornly avoiding yours.
“Mm-hmm,” you hummed, tilting your head as you watched him squirm. “Could’ve fooled me.”
Joel’s voice was quiet, thick with a mix of concern and something deeper. “You shouldn’t work so late,” he said, his dark eyes locking onto yours for just a moment before darting away again. “It ain’t good for you.”
You tilted your head slightly, your lips curving into a soft smile. “Baby, I’m alright,” you reassured him, your voice gentle. “You don’t have to worry about me.”
But Joel’s jaw tightened, and his shoulders remained stiff. His hand came up to rub the back of his neck, a clear sign he was holding something back.
You stepped closer, reaching up to cradle his face in your hands, your thumbs brushing over his scruffy cheeks. “Hey,” you murmured, leaning in until your forehead almost touched his. “I mean it. I’m okay. You can breathe, you know.”
He exhaled shakily, his eyes fluttering closed as he leaned into your touch. “Just… can’t help it,” he admitted, his voice rough and low. “You do too much. Somebody’s gotta make sure you take care of yourself.”
Your smile softened, and you pressed a brief, chaste kiss to his forehead. “You’re sweet,” you said, your tone teasing but warm. “But I’ve got this, Joel. I promise.”
With that, you turned back to the desk, leaning slightly as you reached for a stack of papers you’d been organizing before Joel arrived.
Your blouse shifted as you moved, the fabric pulling taut across your back and revealing a hint of the smooth skin at your waist. You pushed up your sleeves absentmindedly, as you flipped through the papers with a focused efficiency that had Joel rooted in place.
Joel tried to focus on your words, on the way you calmly explained whatever you’d been discussing with Paul before he barged in, but his mind betrayed him.
His eyes trailed over the curve of your back, the dip of your waist, the way your pants hugged your hips. His pulse quickened, heat creeping up his neck as he imagined you sitting back on that desk, your legs spread as you guided his head between them.
Fuck.
Joel clenched his jaw, his fists curling at his sides as he tried to shove the thought away, but it was no use.
The image was too vivid—the taste of you, the sound of your breathy moans, the way you’d hold his hair as he worshipped you. He could practically feel the pressure of your thighs around his head, your voice low and commanding as you told him to keep going, good boy.
“Joel?”
Your voice jolted him from his spiraling thoughts, and his head snapped up. You were looking over your shoulder, one eyebrow raised, your lips tugged into a curious smirk. “You okay over there?”
He cleared his throat, forcing himself to look away. “Yeah,” he muttered, his voice rough. “Just… thinkin’.”
“Uh-huh,” you replied, turning fully to face him now.
You leaned back against the desk, crossing your arms over your chest, and Joel’s eyes—completely against his will—dropped for a fraction of a second before snapping back up. Your smirk deepened, and Joel’s ears burned.
“You sure about that?” you teased, tilting your head. “Because it seems like your thoughts might be wandering.”
“I—” Joel started, but the words caught in his throat.
He looked away, his hands twitching at his sides as he fought to regain control. But the way you leaned against the desk, your confidence radiating in every movement, was doing things to him he couldn’t stop.
You watched him for a moment, your eyes narrowing slightly, your smirk softening into something more thoughtful.
Then, you straightened, uncrossing your arms and stepping closer. “Joel,” you said softly, your voice dropping just enough to make his heart skip. “What’s really on your mind?”
His breath hitched as you closed the distance between you, your fingers brushing lightly over his forearm.
He wanted to answer, but the words tangled in his throat, his mind still clouded with the image of you, the way you’d look under him—no, above him.
You tilted your head, studying him like you could see right through him, and your lips curved into a slow, knowing smile. “I see,” you murmured, your voice dripping with amusement.
Joel’s mouth opened, then closed again. He shook his head quickly, his ears burning, but you didn’t let him squirm away this time.
You stepped even closer, your fingers trailing up to rest lightly against his chest. “Come on, baby,” you murmured, your voice soft but teasing. “You can tell me.”
Joel’s throat bobbed as he swallowed hard, his eyes darting to yours, then away again. “It’s… I just—” He stopped, his hands clenching at his sides as he let out a frustrated sigh. “You make it impossible to think, y’know that?”
Your smile widened, your head tilting as you regarded him.
“Oh?” you said, your tone light but edged with something darker, something that made Joel’s stomach flip. “And what exactly are you thinking about?”
Joel hesitated, his gaze flicking to the desk behind you for just a second before he looked away again, his jaw tightening. But it was enough. Your eyes sparkled with realization, and you leaned in, your voice dropping to a near whisper.
“Thinking about me on that desk, baby?” you murmured, your lips curving into a sly smile. “Thinking about how good it’d feel to put that mouth of yours to work?”
Joel’s breath hitched, his entire body going taut as he stared at you, his pupils blown wide. “I—fuck,” he rasped, his voice breaking
Your smirk deepened, and you reached up to brush your fingers through his hair, your nails grazing his scalp. “Go on, Joel,” you murmured, your voice like velvet. “Say it.”
Joel’s breath hitched, his entire body going taut as he stared at you, pupils blown wide, lips parted like he was caught mid-thought.
“I—fuck,” he rasped, voice cracking under the weight of whatever was bubbling inside him.
You smirked, tilting your head, and let your fingers glide into his hair, nails lightly grazing his scalp.
Joel swallowed hard, his hands twitching at his sides. “You’re so fuckin’ sexy,” he finally admitted, the words tumbling out in a rush.
“All day, I’ve been thinkin’ ‘bout you—‘bout gettin’ my mouth on you. Feelin’ your thighs against my face, your taste on my tongue. Can’t stop.” His voice dropped into a low growl, his breath uneven.
“Can’t even fuckin’ think straight when you’re standin’ there lookin’ like that.”
You raised an eyebrow, amusement flickering in your eyes. “Didn’t I take care of you this morning, sweet one?”
His jaw flexed, and he groaned softly, his eyes dropping to your lips, then trailing over your body with an intensity that made your stomach clench.
“It wasn’t enough,” he muttered, voice desperate. “It’s never enough. You ruin me, darlin’. I just… I need you.”
You leaned back against the desk, arms crossed casually over your chest, and his eyes followed the movement, locking onto the subtle shift of your body.
“Take my pants off, Joel,” you said, your voice calm but firm, like it was the simplest request in the world.
Joel’s breath hitched again, his fingers already moving before he could fully process your words.
“Yes, ma’am,” he whispered, his voice trembling as he stepped closer. His hands were unsteady, reverent, as they found the waistband of your pants, hesitating for just a moment before undoing the button and sliding the zipper down.
The air between you crackled as he knelt in front of you, his hands gently tugging your pants down over your hips.
His lips parted, and you heard the faintest gasp as your panties came into view, a darkened spot already visible where your arousal soaked through.
“Goddamn,” Joel muttered, his voice low and wrecked, his hands gripping your thighs. “You’re—fuck, you’re perfect. Don’t even know what you do to me.”
You smirked, leaning forward slightly, one hand brushing through his hair. “I know exactly what I do to you, baby,” you murmured. “That’s why you’re on your knees for me, isn’t it?”
Joel tugged the rest of your pants free, his movements quick and deliberate, pausing only to slide your shoes off and set them aside.
The moment your legs were bare, he hesitated, his eyes darting down to your feet before he leaned in suddenly, pressing his lips to the top of one foot.
The soft, warm press of his mouth sent a shiver through you, and you let out a startled laugh, tilting your head as you looked down at him. “Joel,” you said, your voice low with curiosity and amusement. “What are you doing?”
He didn’t answer immediately. Instead, his lips traveled over the arch of your foot, slow and reverent, and when he finally spoke, his voice was thick and trembling.
“Can’t help it,” he murmured. “You’re so fuckin’ beautiful. Every part of you—” His tongue flicked out briefly, dragging along the delicate curve of your ankle. “—drives me fuckin’ crazy.”
Your breath caught as his hands slid up to cradle your calves, his lips brushing against the arch of your other foot.
“Joel,” you murmured, your voice soft but edged with heat. “Are you a feet-guy now?”
His head snapped up, his cheeks flushed, but his eyes were dark with pure, unfiltered want.
“I’m a you guy,” he rasped, his voice rough and uneven. “I’d worship every inch of you if you let me, ma’am.”
The sincerity and desperation in his voice made heat pool low in your belly, and you smirked, brushing your fingers through his hair. “Every inch, huh?” you teased, your tone sultry. “Guess I should let you, then.”
His lips parted as he stared up at you, his chest heaving like he couldn’t quite catch his breath. “Please,” he whispered, the single word dripping with need as his hands gripped your legs tighter. “Let me.”
Joel didn’t hesitate when you gave him a soft nod, your smirk still firmly in place.
His hands slid slowly down your thighs, reverent and careful, like you might vanish if he wasn’t gentle.
Joels lips parted as he lowered his head, brushing a slow, deliberate kiss against your knee before trailing lower, his breath warm and shaky against your skin.
“Go on, baby,” you murmured, your fingers threading through his hair as you tilted your head, watching him with a lazy sort of dominance. “Show me how much you mean it.”
Joel groaned softly, his hands trembling as they gripped your thighs tighter. He leaned in, pressing a kiss to the inside of your thigh, the heat of his lips sending a shiver up your spine.
His nose brushed against your skin as he moved closer, inhaling deeply like he couldn’t get enough of you.
“Fuck,” he breathed, his voice barely audible. “Smell so good. Always do.”
Your smirk deepened, and you gave his hair a soft tug, guiding him closer to where you wanted him.
“You’ve got a smart mouth when it comes to saying all the right things, Joel,” you teased, your voice dropping to a whisper. “Now, put it to work.”
“Yes, ma’am,” Joel rasped, his voice trembling. He didn’t waste another second, his lips brushing against the damp fabric of your panties.
The first touch made him groan, the sound desperate and guttural as he pressed his face closer, his nose nudging against your clit.
You gasped softly, your fingers tightening in his hair. “That’s it, baby,” you whispered, your tone calm and encouraging. “Yeah, just like that.”
Joel’s tongue flicked out, dragging along the wet patch that had already formed against the thin fabric.
He moaned as the taste of you hit his tongue, and the vibrations of the sound sent a sharp jolt of heat through your core.
His lips latched onto you through your panties, sucking softly as his nose pressed harder against your clit, grinding into you with every movement.
“You’re such a good boy, Joel,” you murmured, your voice like silk. “Look at you, so desperate to please. Bet you’ve been thinking about this all day.”
He whimpered, his hands sliding up to grip your hips as he buried his face deeper against you.
“Every day,” he whispered, his voice cracking. “Think about it every damn day. Wanna taste you, wanna make you feel so good.”
You smiled, the sound low and indulgent as you gave his hair another tug. “Then take them off, baby,” you whispered, your tone commanding but patient. “Show me how much you want it.”
Joel’s hands shook as he hooked his fingers under the waistband of your panties, his lips brushing against your hip as he slid them down your legs.
He didn’t even bother to move them completely out of the way, his attention entirely on the sight of you bared before him. His breath hitched, and he licked his lips, his eyes dark and filled with reverence.
“Goddamn,” he muttered, his voice wrecked.
You chuckled softly, leaning back against the desk and letting your thighs fall open a little wider.
Joel groaned, his hands sliding up your thighs as he leaned in, his lips parting to drag his tongue slowly through your folds.
The first taste always made him moan so loudly you couldn’t help but smile, and his tongue worked with desperate precision, lapping at your entrance before moving up to flick over your clit.
“Fuck, Joel,” you breathed, your nails grazing against his scalp. “You’re so eager, baby. So good at this.”
He whimpered against you, his tongue pressing harder against your clit before wrapping his lips around it, sucking gently.
His nose brushed against you with every movement, the friction sending jolts of pleasure through your body as he lost himself in you.
“Keep going, baby,” you whispered, your tone calm but firm.
Joel moaned again, his hands gripping your thighs tighter as his tongue worked faster, licking and sucking like a man possessed.
He was all-in, his desperation and devotion pouring into every movement, every sound, every shuddering breath.
Joel pulled back briefly, his face slick with your arousal, his breaths heavy and uneven. His thick fingers slid up your inner thighs, his touch featherlight, reverent, like he was handling something holy.
He reached your folds, his large fingers spreading your pussy lips apart, exposing your swollen, glistening clit to his dark, hungry gaze.
“Christ,” Joel muttered, his voice low and trembling as he stared.
His fingers gently held you open, and for a moment, all he could do was look - memorizing the way you glistened, the way your cunt clenched with anticipation.
His mouth opened slightly, his tongue darting out to wet his lips as he bit down softly on the plush skin of your inner thigh, making you jolt.
“Joel,” you warned, your voice thick with arousal. “Don’t just look.”
Slowly, he leaned in to take your throbbing clit into his mouth again. - But then, under his breath, he grumbled,"Bet that asshole Paul ain't ever seen somethin' this fuckin' pretty."
Your brows furrowed immediately, the heat between you both briefly eclipsed by confusion. "Paul?" you snapped, your grip tightening in his hair, pulling his head back roughly.
Joel winced but didn't dare meet your eyes, his cheeks flushed as his lips glistened from where he'd already tasted you.
"You're jealous?" you demanded, a mix of amusement and annoyance in your tone, though there was something undeniably sultry in the way you said it.
Joel stammered, shaking his head, though his guilty expression betrayed him. "I just- he don't deserve to be 'round you like that."
You blinked, momentarily surprised by his audacity.
Then, something wicked curled in your chest, and your smirk returned as you leaned forward, your fingers threading into his hair to tug him to his feet.
Joel stumbled up, flustered, his face red as you pushed him back against the table with a force that knocked the breath out of him.
"You're jealous of Paul," you said again, quieter now, voice dripping with mock disdain as you stepped closer, your hips brushing against his.
Joel swallowed hard, his hands gripping the edge of the table for balance as you caged him in, your body pressing against his like he had nowhere to go.
His lips parting to reply, but no sound came out. His eyes darted to yours, wide and needy as you leaned in close, your lips ghosting over his ear.
"Would I touch Paul like this, Joel?" you murmured, your voice low and teasing as your hand slid down to press against the thick bulge straining in his pants.
Joel let out a strangled whimper, his hips jerking forward instinctively at the contact.
"Answer me," you commanded softly, your fingers tracing the outline of his cock through the fabric, applying just enough pressure to make him groan. "Would he be this hard for me?"
"Fuck-no," Joel choked out, his voice wrecked and trembling. His knuckles turned white where he gripped the table, his whole body tense beneath your touch. "Ain't no one else gets this. Just me. Please - always me, ma'am."
"That's what I thought," you whispered, a smug smile curving your lips as you slowly unbuttoned his pants.
Joel's chest rose and fell in sharp, shaky breaths as he watched your every move, his gaze dark and glassy with need.
"You think Paul could ever handle me the way you do?" you continued, teasing the waistband of his boxers now, your fingers brushing the bare skin of his hips. "Think he'd know how to please me like you do, baby?"
Joel shook his head desperately, his voice barely a whisper as he rasped, "No, ma'am.Never."
"Good boy," you purred, leaning back just enough to look him in the eye.
Joel's hips bucked forward slightly, his cock throbbing beneath your touch, but you stilled him with a firm press of your hand.
"You really think l'd let anyone else have me like this?" you murmured, your tone low and commanding. "You think I'd let anyone but you eat my cunt in this office?"
Joel whimpered, his eyes squeezing shut for a moment as he let out a shaky, broken sound that shot straight to your core.
"Please," he whispered hoarsely. "Please— don't stop."
You smirked, leaning down to press your lips to the corner of his jaw, letting your teeth graze his skin. "You want me to prove it to you, hm, baby?"
Joel nodded frantically, his head falling back as his entire body trembled beneath you.
"Yes," he breathed, his voice raw and needy.
"Please... Show me l'm yours. I'll do anything, ma'am. Anything."
And with that, you sank back down to your knees in front of him, dragging his pants and boxers down in one smooth motion, leaving him bare and vulnerable as you stared up at him, the wicked gleam in your eyes making Joel's cock throb painfully in anticipation.
"Alright, handsome," you whispered darkly, your lips brushing over the sensitive tip of him as Joel let out a desperate groan, his hips jerking forward.
"Be a good boy, and I'll make you feel like the only man in the world."
Joel's head tipped back, his hands scrambling for purchase on the edge of the table as your mouth closed around him, and the only word he could manage was a broken, worshipful, "Fuck."
You kissed along the thick length of his cock, slow and deliberate, dragging your tongue in a wet line up the underside until you reached the sensitive tip.
Joel’s body tensed, and a deep, broken groan tore from his throat as his hips jerked forward, chasing your touch.
“Ma‘am,” he choked out, his voice rough, his knuckles white where he gripped the desk behind him. His chest rose and fell in heavy, uneven breaths, eyes blown wide with need as they met yours.
You smirked wickedly, your lips brushing over his flushed, aching head. “Yeah, baby?” you teased, your voice dripping with dark amusement as you kissed him softly, deliberately avoiding where he wanted you most.
“Looks like you’ve been neglected.” You licked up the shaft again, savoring the way he whimpered, the sound breaking into a low, strangled growl. “But that’s on me, huh? I’ve been so busy…”
Joel’s head tipped back, his throat bobbing as he swallowed hard. “You’re—fuck, you’re what Jackson needs,” he stammered, his voice wrecked and almost pleading. “S’okay. I get it. You—you’re keepin’ us safe.”
His hands shook as he forced himself to look back at you, his eyes glassy with desperation.
“Oh, Joel,” you murmured, your voice like silk as you nipped lightly at the sensitive skin, making him jolt with a sharp inhale.
“Jackson might need me—but I got someone else at home who needs me now too, hm?” You shot him a pointed look, your tongue flicking out to swirl around the tip as Joel let out a wrecked noise that made you clench around nothing.
His breath stuttered, his entire body trembling beneath your touch. “Me,” he rasped, his voice cracking into a whimper, the word soft and desperate as it fell from his lips.
You hummed, lips curling as you dragged your tongue along the sensitive ridge beneath his head before wrapping your mouth around him completely, taking him slow and deep until the tip nudged the back of your throat.
Joel let out a loud, guttural groan, his hips jerking involuntarily as he felt the wet heat of your mouth envelop him completely.
You pulled back just enough to let him slip free, a trail of spit and pre-cum stretching between your lips and his swollen, aching cock.
It twitched violently in the cool air, slick and flushed dark at the tip, thick veins standing out along his length as it oozed a steady bead of milky pre-cum.
Your eyes trailed over it with a wicked glint, drinking in the sight of him—so messy, so utterly ruined—and your lips curled into a slow, smug smile as you lazily pumped him with your slick hand.
The noise it made was filthy, each movement a slow, deliberate glide of your palm over his slicked skin. “Look at you, Joel. You’re already such a mess for me.”
You dragged your thumb over his leaking slit, smearing the pre-cum down the length of him, and his hips bucked sharply, a strangled groan tearing from his throat.
“Christ,” he choked, his head falling back, his jaw slack as his chest heaved. “Darlin’, please - please, I- ”
“Please what?” you teased, your tone light and mocking as you leaned back in, your lips brushing over the tip again, barely there.
Joel’s whole body jolted, and he whimpered—so loudly—as your tongue darted out to swirl around him, gathering the salty slick that had gathered there.
“Wanna fuck my throat, baby?” you murmured darkly, your gaze locked on his as your lips curled into a slow smile.
“Is that what you’re so desperate for? Hm? That big cock of yours buried all the way in, feelin’ me tight around you?”
Joel let out a sound that was somewhere between a groan and a plea, his hands clenching into fists at his sides. “Yes,” he rasped, his voice raw and wrecked. “God, yes, darlin’. I—fuck—please.”
“Then go ahead,” you purred, your hand stroking him with slow, deliberate movements. “Go on, Joel. Take it.”
He froze for half a second, as if the permission short-circuited his brain, before he stepped closer, his hands finally leaving the desk to cradle your jaw.
You let your mouth fall open, your tongue teasing his tip as he slid in, slow and careful, testing the waters. Your eyes stayed locked on his, and you hummed approvingly, encouraging him to move deeper.
“Don’t hold back, baby,” you murmured between breaths, your voice thick with sin. “I can take it.”
Joel groaned, deep and guttural, as he pushed further, the head of his cock hitting the back of your throat.
You swallowed around him, and the sound that ripped from his chest was wrecked, his hips twitching as he fought not to lose control.
Slowly, he rocked forward, fucking into your mouth with careful, shallow thrusts, each movement slick and filthy with spit and pre-cum. You could feel him throbbing, could hear the desperate, broken noises spilling from him every time he hit just right.
“Jesus,” Joel gritted out, his voice low and wrecked as his fingers threaded into your hair, guiding you gently. “Feels so fuckin’ good, ma“am. So fuckin’ perfect—goddamn.”
You let him thrust just a little deeper, taking him until your nose pressed against the dark curls at the base of his cock.
Your throat flexed around him, swallowing him whole, and the growl that tore from his chest was loud and shattered, his control slipping further.
He pulled back, your spit trailing in thick, messy strings along his length, and you let out a satisfied hum as you pulled away completely, your lips wet and slick with him.
But you weren’t done.
Your hands slid up his thighs as you leaned lower, pressing your lips to his balls. Joel’s hips jolted sharply, his legs trembling beneath him as you kissed him softly, your tongue flicking out to trace the sensitive skin.
You smirked against him, releasing him with a wet pop before flattening your tongue and dragging it slowly, teasingly, down the sensitive skin just beneath his balls.
Joel’s whole body jerked, his knees threatening to give out as he let out a choked, desperate shout, his fingers tightening painfully in your hair.
“Yes,” he gasped, the word breaking as it tumbled out of him. “Yes, fuck, yes!” His voice cracked, hoarse and wrecked, as you continued your slow, deliberate path, your tongue barely grazing where he was most sensitive.
The filthy noises spilling from him grew louder, more frantic, his hips twitching uncontrollably as you pushed him further and further over the edge.
“Like that, baby?” you purred, pulling back just enough to whisper against the trembling skin. “Want me to lick even lower, huh? Is that what you want?”
Joel let out something between a sob and a growl, his head snapping back as his mouth fell open, panting for air like a man starved.
His body shook violently, and before he could even get the words out, his release hit - a sharp, shuddering jolt that tore through him like lightning.
“Fuck- oh, ma‘am- fuck!” Joel roared, his hips surging forward as his cock throbbed and pulsed, spurting hot, thick ropes of cum across your face and blouse, the first one hitting so hard you moaned softly at the sheer force of it.
His voice echoed off the walls, a deep, primal sound that he didn’t try to be quiet - didn’t care who heard.
“Shit- oh, darlin’ - fuck, I- ” Joel was lost to it, wrecked and trembling, his hands shaking in your hair as his cock twitched again, more of his release spilling onto your tongue and chin.
You caught as much of it as you could, sucking softly at the head of him as he moaned, loud and shattered, the tension in his body finally breaking.
“Such a good boy for me, Joel,” you murmured softly, your voice thick with satisfaction as you swirled your tongue lazily over his still-pulsing tip, gathering the last drops of him.
His cock was slick and messy now, glistening with cum and your spit, and the sight of him—ruined and trembling, his thighs shaking so hard he could barely stand—made you smirk with pure satisfaction.
Joel’s breath came in ragged gasps as he stared down at you, his face flushed and wrecked, his chest heaving like he’d run for miles.
“Jesus,” he rasped, his voice barely there, as if the words were dragged out of him.
You licked at your lips, smearing a streak of his release off your cheek with your thumb before sliding it into your mouth, sucking softly as you held his gaze.
Joel’s body jerked at the sight, his hands clenching and unclenching as if he couldn’t decide whether to pull you up or drop to his knees.
“Made such a mess, baby,” you teased softly, reaching up to stroke his still-twitching cock, your hand gliding easily over the slick mess coating him.
Joel groaned, his eyes squeezing shut as his hips gave an involuntary jerk at your touch.
“Didn’t even care who heard you, huh?”
Joel let out a low, wrecked sound, his face buried in his arm as he leaned heavily against the desk for support. “Don’t fuckin’ care,” he muttered, his voice muffled and rough. “Let ‘em hear. Let ‘em all know I’m yours.”
You smirked, rising slowly to your feet, your body grazing his as you straightened. Joel’s hands found your waist immediately, his grip still shaky, like he needed to hold on to you or risk collapsing completely.
You leaned in close, your breath warm against his ear as you whispered, low and sweet, “That’s right, baby. You’re mine.”
Joel groaned softly, his head tilting back to meet your gaze, those dark eyes still heavy-lidded, glassy with the remnants of his release.
There was something else there too - something softer, flickering in the depths as he stared at you like you were the only thing keeping him grounded.
“Always yours,” he rasped, his voice still wrecked but thick with something deeper. “No one else, darlin’. Just you.”
Your smirk softened, your fingers sliding up to trace along the stubble of his jaw before you cupped his face gently in your hands. “Yeah?” you murmured.
Joel’s breath hitched as you tilted your head and kissed him—softly, slowly—your lips molding to his in a kiss that stripped away the desperation and left nothing but warmth.
He sighed into it, his arms wrapping fully around you now, pulling you in close until you were flush against him.
You pulled back just slightly, your forehead resting against his as you whispered, “I’m yours too. Always.”
Joel’s chest heaved, his hands tightening on your waist as his thumb traced slow, soothing circles against your skin.
“Okay, baby? No need to give Paul the stinky eye,” you teased softly, pressing a kiss to the corner of his lips.
Joel’s brows knit together, his face shifting into something defensive but playful as he pulled back just enough to look at you.
“I wasn’t givin’ him the stinky eye,” he grumbled, though the way his jaw twitched betrayed him.
You snorted, unable to help the laugh that bubbled up. “Joel,” you teased, your grin spreading wide.
Joel’s lips twitched, the ghost of a smile threatening to break through, and he huffed softly, shaking his head. “You’re seein’ things, darlin’,” he muttered, but there was no heat behind his words.
You laughed harder, leaning your forehead against his as his low, rough chuckle finally broke free, rumbling deep in his chest.
The sound sent warmth flooding through you, and before you could say another word, his lips found yours again.
This kiss was softer now—easy, lingering, the kind of kiss that said I’m here, and you’re mine.
Joel’s hands slid up your sides, cradling you close as you melted into him, the laughter fading into something softer, something sweeter.
When you finally pulled back, breathless and smiling, you brushed your nose against his. “You were totally giving him the stinky eye,” you murmured, grinning.
Joel chuckled again, shaking his head as he pressed another kiss to your lips—soft, deliberate, and warm. “Maybe,” he murmured against your mouth, his voice low and fond. “Maybe I was.”
Smiling, you brushed your fingers along his jaw, your touch gentle, grounding. “You’re the sexiest and most handsome man I have ever laid my eyes on,” you murmured softly, the sincerity in your voice leaving no room for doubt.
Joel froze for just a moment, his brow furrowing slightly like he wasn’t sure he’d heard you right. Then, his face softened, his cheeks coloring just a little as his lips curved into a lopsided smile.
“You really think that?” he asked quietly, his voice rough, almost uncertain, as though he didn’t quite believe it.
You laughed softly, pressing a kiss to the corner of his mouth before pulling back just enough to look him in the eye. “No, Joel. I know that. Don’t go gettin’ all humble on me now.”
Your fingers tangled gently in his hair, your voice a whisper. “No one else could hold a candle to you, Joel Miller. You’ve got no reason to be jealous of anyone.”
He huffed out a small laugh, his hands finding your waist and pulling you closer, like he needed to feel you against him to believe it.
After a minute - you stepped back. “C’mon, handsome,” you teased, your voice soft but playful, “let’s get home, yeah?” You winked at him, your grin infectious.
Joel huffed a soft laugh, his hands still resting on your hips. “Yeah,” he said, his lips quirking into a small, proud smile. “I got somethin’ for you at home. A little somethin’ I found today.”
Your eyes lit up, curiosity sparking as you tugged his hand gently. “Ooh, a present? You’re spoilin’ me, Miller,” you teased, grinning wide.
Joel chuckled, ears red, shaking his head as he let you pull him along.

“A candle?” you breathed, your eyes widening as you turned it over in your hands, the label simple but faintly worn.
The smell of something warm and sweet reached your nose, and you blinked up at Joel, completely caught off guard.
Joel rubbed the back of his neck, his gaze flickering to the floor as a faint pink crept across his cheeks.
“Yeah,” he said, a little awkwardly, his voice low. “Found it while we were out on patrol. Smell reminded me of you… I don’t know, somethin’ soft and warm—real nice. Figured maybe you’d… like it.”
He shifted slightly, his hands fidgeting against his jeans as he added quickly, “I mean, it’s nothin’ fancy. If it’s too much or too soon—”
“Joel,” you interrupted softly, your voice barely above a whisper as you brought the candle closer, inhaling the faint, soothing scent.
Something in your chest tightened, an unexpected warmth spreading through you that made your throat feel thick. It had been so long—years, really—since anyone had given you something just because they thought of you.
Joel paused mid-ramble, his eyes snapping up to meet yours, worry lingering in his expression.
Before he could say anything else, you stepped forward and kissed him—soft, sweet, and lingering.
“Thank you,” you whispered, your voice shaky, tears threatening to spill as you smiled up at him. “Thank you so much, Joel. You don’t… you don’t know what this means to me.”
Joel’s brows softened, his hands reaching out to cup your face gently, his thumbs brushing against your cheeks.
“Hey,” he murmured, his voice warm and low, “you’re welcome, darlin’. I just… I wanted you to have somethin’ nice. Somethin’ that’s yours.”
You smiled, blinking through the tears as you leaned into his touch.
“No one’s given me a gift since I was seventeen,” you admitted softly, a hint of laughter in your voice as you tried to play it off, but Joel’s expression only grew more tender.
“Well, I’m makin’ up for lost time, then,” he said, his voice steady, the corners of his lips twitching into a faint smile.
You let out a soft laugh, pressing your forehead against his, your hand still clutching the candle like it was the most precious thing in the world.
“You’re somethin’ else, Joel Miller,” you whispered, your voice fond and thick with emotion.
Joel chuckled softly, his fingers brushing through your hair. “Yeah, well… you’re worth it.”

This might be a little freak but zoro and law (you can throw Luffy in there but I wasn't sure) with a bondage kink please?
okay, okay, okay. first, nothing is too freaky in this household. second, YEAS! OMG GREAT IDEA. third of all, i'm gonna throw everyone in for the sake of it.
✿thinkin' bout: luffy, zoro, sanji, ace n' law! vs. tied up, oh no!
NOT PROOFREAD. JUST OMGGG I LOVE THESE MEN. cw: nsfw includes: bondage [obviously], a lot of overstimulation, fingering, cunnilingus, masturbation, using of toys, edging and denial, slight knife-kink [in law's], semi-public and slight voyeurism [in sanji's], loads of bondage, again [obviously.] MDNI. GO STUDY, GIRL. m.list
🍒monkey d. luffy: untamed beast!
❤️okay see, first of all, it was your fault you ever suggested this arrangement.
you were the fool that said, "hey, luff wanna try something new?" with that sadistic glint in your eyes; a fool that didn't yet know what was to come.
now, that something 'new' was you tied onto your bed. your arms burned at the slight stretch, throat parched and straining with breathy moans, toes involuntarily clenching as you tried to wriggle your way out of this overstimulated mess. because monkey d. luffy was relentless seeing your sprawled open like this.
his tongue peeked out, sultry muscle lapping up the sweet beads of your residue on his lips. his eyes was a clouded with lust, heavy-lidded as he met your gaze. your spent figure still jittered with aftershocks, courtesy of your nth orgasm at your boyfriend's cruel tongue.
"l-luffy," your lips wobbled pathetically, the bed-frame rattling ever so softly under your attempts to break free, "no... no more, please."
and maybe luffy did feel sorry for the mess he had made of you — all weak limbs and broken whines — because his eyes softened, lips pressed into a thin line as he pulled himself from his position at your overflowing core.
the back of his hand met his lips, smearing the mess against his lips rather than cleaning it up. "too much?" he asked, and you nodded, relieved.
because, of course, you knew that your captain was benevolent and merciful, your captain was a sweetheart who even let his enemies go when he had had his fun, your captain was— wait... he was hovering over you like he was ready to devour you.
"l-luffy?" your breath hitched and he shushed you, an easy smile plastered onto his rosy, kiss-bitten lips, "don' worry, peach. i won't break ya."
"wh-what?" your biceps flexed, a weak attempt to run away from the man above, from the man that had swore his life on your ruination. but luffy just grinned, hooking his index under your jaw to take a closer look at your disheveled state.
you shook your head, "luff, 'm t-tired. i—" his index finger swiped against your plush bottom lip, and your words melted against his digits. as he slipped his index past your lips, he shushed you, "don'tcha worry now."
once thorough with his examination, once re-assured that your eyes were brimmed with unresolved tears, your lips were trembling and your cunt was fluttering with unyielding anticipation, monkey d. luffy pulled his wet fingers out of your lips just to pull your cheeks into a pout. laughing at your expression, at your wide eyes, he rasped, "c'mon, baby. i'll take care of you and this pretty, little pussy."
oh no.
🍀roronoa zoro: accidental discoveries!
💚roronoa zoro was a teeny-tiny bit slow. he was sure of it. because after being with you for years, how did he just now discover this sight?
your back was against the wooden backrest of the creaking chair in zoro's room. your arms hanging free over the arm-rest, and your thighs wide apart, spread over the armrest. the fat and skin of your plush thighs reddened under the swordsman's trustworthy black bandana as your peered up at him, all while his hungry gaze was trained on your saccharine sweet cunt.
"h-having fun, are you?" breath stuttered out of your rosy lips so pathetically, chest falling up and down in a heavenly falsetto as roronoa zoro trained his predator's gaze upon you. his cheeks were flushed, an unmistakable smirk on his lips, "hm. didn't know winnin' a bet will feel so good."
ah yes, the bet. the accursed bet which had landed you in this position.
you had been naive enough to bring up the "variety of ways in which his bandana could be used." and then proceeded to bet him that whoever lost the pillow fight will have to be experimented upon. yes, that bet.
"'nuff stalling." the moss-head crossed his leg over the other, leaning back leisurely in his own chair right opposite to yours. he grinned like a predator, "go on, then. put on a show f'me."
you did as you were asked; you put up a show.
his hungry eyes followed your nimble fingers as they ran their course over your goose-bumpish skin so softly. the finger-tip ghosted over your lips and over your perked nipples, down your stomach and hovered over the spread-open, gushing core.
the swordsman swallowed, the adam's apple bobbing in wicked anticipation as you touched yourself. your familiar finger-tips traced patterns against your throbbing clit as your back arched against the cold wood. teasing your entrance, you bit your lip, teasing the swordsman, "liking the view?"
his answer was just a pained grunt. the moss-head was rendered useless. his sharp tongue all tied up, all jumbled as he looked at the view of your pleasuring yourself.
you threw your head back, letting out sinful moans as your own fingers slipped past your leaky entrance. the room sounded of wet squelches, of experienced digits slipping in and out, and of anything and everything remotely you.
the swordsman leaned forward, his hands clasping shut as his gaze zeroed in at your trembling, tied thighs. when he spoke, his words were barely restrained; a beast hidden within the skin of a mere mortal, "go faster."
you complied, digits pulling and pushing at a quicker pace all in an effort to push yourself over the edge. your lips parted, eyes clenched shut and for a moment all you could feel was the rhythmic motion of your fingers within yourself, "oh my god. fuc— im gonna cum."
and then, all of that heavenly bliss came to a cruel halt.
your eyes fluttered open, pupils blown as you looked at the rough hand tugging on your wrist. "zo-zoro?"
your breath hitched at the man on his knees. his crazed eyes barely held your gaze, his lips parted in anticipation as he pulled your soaked fingers to his mouth, "you tease too much, woman."
you purred, "do i?" and his calloused palms dug into your thighs, leaving reddened patches on your tied limbs as he husked out a reply, "and ya talk too much. shut up, and let me."
okay, then.
🌊vinsmoke sanji: now serving: subs in the kitchen!
💙vinsmoke sanji was a pervert by nature.
you knew that since the day you joined the crew and the cook greeted you with honeyed words and heart-eyes instead of a simple "hello, how are ya? my name is..." and you have known that since you both started dating but now, in a situation like this... my oh my, this man was devil-incarnated.
"atleast close the door, sanji." you hissed, eyes widening as you looked at the unlocked entrance to the kitchen. but the blonde just purred, pressing his weight to your back and breathing in the intoxicating smell of your shampoo, "mon amore, we're all alone."
his experienced hands kneaded your waist, expert hips rutting onto your ass as if it was muscle memory. you arched into him instinctively, words growing feeble under his soft caresses, "bu-but someone can come in."
the cook laughed, the sound so breathy against the shell of your ears, "let them, then."
you threw a glance back at the chef, looking as he loosened his tie and softly pulled your wrists together to tie them behind your back. the satin tightened against your soft skin and you fell forward onto the kitchen island to stabilize yourself.
"sa-" you tried but the blonde cut you off, shushing you so softly. hooking one finger in the knot he had tied, he pushed you down with the same hand, "shh, it's okay, love."
minutes has slipped just as easily as his leaky tip past your sodden, sloppy folds. sanji grunt, heaving — no longer a gentleman. his hand pushed down on your wrist, pinning you under him and that wretched, cold countertop as he kept rutting into you.
your cheek dug against the marble, lips falling agape at his rough administrations, "s-sanji."
"what?" the way he rasped the word out, you felt like maybe the man behind you was already betting his sanity on your sweet cunt. he repeated, something urgent in his syllables, "w-what is it, love?"
another harsh roll of his hips against yours, and his tip rammed against the all-too-gooey spot within you. you gasped, eyes clenching shut and toes curling. as if to soothe your body, sanji held you tighter under his grip, "are you gonna cum, gorgeous?"
thoughts long gone, you nodded just to nodded — still squirming so pathetically under his heavier figure. you pulled at your wrist, trying to break free from him and this overstimulating, vexing mess.
sanji laughed at your futile efforts, "reachin' your limits?"
"sanji—" you whined, thighs clenching and unclenching yet again under his erratic movements. moans tumbled past your lips, some half-formed words that resembled his name and echoes of a plea for mercy.
sanji stilled for just a moment, admiring the mess he had created under his hold. from your stuttered breathing, to your pitched moans and reddened skin — god, you were beautiful.
sanji pressed open-mouthed kissed down your shoulders, words following soon after like a crash, "s, so fuckin' beautiful."
and so, he just gotta make sure to appreciate this beauty, doesn't he? that's the gentlemanly thing to do.
❤️🔥portgas d. ace: a man, a man, a mean fucking man!
🧡your pulled your wrist downwards, and your bedframe rattled ever so softly under the careful actions. your face scrunched up, eyes faltering to quite meet the gaze of the man in front of you.
"i-is this necessary..?"
"hm?" ace gave a smile, something a bit crooked, something roguish, "you said you wanted to try it, didn't ya?"
"i-" your brows furrowed, teeth sinking in your inner cheek at his inspection, "i just said i read it in a book. i never said i wanted to try it—"
"tough luck." ace inched forward, muscled body shifting to bring the familiar toy and pressing it to your fluttering, divining cunt. ace grinned as your body jolted against the foreign vibrations, "like it?"
"n-no?" but the way your back arched, chest invitingly moving up and down made ace categorize you as a liar.
bringing one warm palm up to your breast, he softly tugged at the perked nipple as another sent shockwave one after the other to your drenched cunt.
slipping the pulsating toy within your heat, ace watched on with delight as his pretty, pretty girlfriend fell pray to the expert flicks of his wrist and the vibrator he had brought you a few days ago.
"ace—" your eyes widened as the man pressed open-mouthed kisses down your stomach. still pumping the toy in 'n out of you like always, ace kissed your neglected clit — an action so chaste yet it pulled out filthy, little noises past your lips.
"pretty?" ace fluttered his eyelashes up at you, and through you half-lidded, shaky vision, you asked, "y-yeah?"
"can you do me a favour?" ace pressed a sweet kiss to your honeyed cunt, giving a soft lick to your swollen nub as if it would make you comply, "when you're about to cum, count from five f'me, yeah?"
with your body on fire and thoughts consumed by some 6'1" man, you nodded — unknown to just how cruel the infamous fire-fist can be.
"five, four... th-three—" your body brewed up a violent storm and your head spun with his hot, sultry tongue on your cunt and the fast push and pull of the vibrator within you. your words stuttered, the crescendo building up just to... end?
the man pulled out the toy out of your spasming cunt at once, abandoning your swollen cunt with a feral grin. tears pricked at your lashline at his administrations, "wh-why'd you stop?"
"sorry, baby." ace cooed, teasing your leaky entrance yet again with the same toy that had been taken away from you. he smiled, "sorry. let's start again, okay?"
but something about the look in his eyes made a violent goosebump paint your pliant body. your eyes widened, half-fear, half... excitement? ace gave you an easy-going smile, nudging his nose against your throbbing nub, "go again, baby."
you swallowed, "o-okay."
after the third time of edging, your body was no longer in your control. your vision was blurred with unresolved tears, not even able to see the man that was torturing you.
hiccupping, you choked on your own words, "p-please, ace. 'm gonna be s'good. i p-promise, please please—"
"—awh, don't cry." ace pressed his lips into a thin line, "i won't tease anymore."
what a fucking liar.
pressing the buzzing toy up and down your cunt, ace nodded, the same feral smile plastered onto his hungry, wet lips. your boyfriend mumbled, "yeah, i definitely like this. don't you, baby?"
what a fucking man.
🪻trafalgar d. water law: a cure for disobedience!
💜 this was straight out of a porno.
"law." and you couldn't help the slight shift in your tone, hands flexing and unflexing as law fixed you on his inspection table.
"stop squirming." his words were a sharp command, eyes barely taking in your naked figure as if you being naked on his inspection table was the least interesting thing in the world, "i'm doing this because you wanted it."
he mumbled under his breath, "impromptu medical check-up, my ass."
but the obvious bulge in his pants said otherwise.
sure, you were the one who had asked him to "do an impromptu medical checkup" and then proceeded to strip down. but it was him who had decided to tie you down to punish you for your little stunt. he said that you were disrespecting doctors, and he can't have that, can he?
your body moved instinctively, jittering against the cold, and law gave you a look that would hypothetically slice you into tiny, little pieces if it could. his voice stayed cool, though, "one more movement and you'll really piss me off."
despite his serious words, and even more serious looks, your thighs clenched together in wicked excitement. the skin rubbed together, essence beading at the prospect this situation would lead to. you bit your lip, "'m sorry."
"okay, then." law huffed, looking at you over the metallic rim of his glasses, "ready?"
you nodded, and the captain of your ship brought a scalpel to your face. his hands shook as he picked the instrument up — was he excited or about to lose his mind?
the same instrument that he used to cut open skin now traced the edge of your jaw with it's blunt side. he brought it down your neck, purposefully dragging the tip of his instrument to tease your pert nipple.
"l-law, 's cold." your back arched slightly, limbs being constricted from moving too much. the doctor raised a careful eyebrow at your action, amused by how easy it was to hold your malleable body back. dragging the scalpel to the other one, and hissing when you jolted under his precise touches, "don't move, or do you wanna get hurt?"
and maybe law needed to be checked mentally cause the idea of you completely under his control sent electricity down his throbbing cock. tip weeping and aching with need, he realized he could turn the scalpel around and tear your soft skin. but instead, he chose to drag the metal down the middle of your stomach. he traced it against your forced open, inner thighs and law's eyes alit with the same sadistic glint as you throbbed under the cold touches.
he brought a rubber-clad hand up to your heat, softly pressing down on your ambrosial cunt. law's jaw tightened as you threw your head sideway, honeydew dripping down from your perfect pussy down to his freakishly clean inspection table.
"don't drip down onto my inspection table, now." the doctor mumbled, but even he knew it were a lie because he went harder against your sensitive cunt, wanting for it to weep all over his rubber-clad fingers. he fastened his pace, pressing the scalpel against your skin with each careful swipe. "you love being disrespectful to my profession, don't you?"
"oh my fuckin'— god." your jaw sagged open, eyes clenching shut as he teased a finger up and down your cunt.
"do you not know i have an oath to upkeep?" he tsked, "i gotta take care of all my patients. so, tell me..." his voice roughened, "d'you like this?"
and law wasn't sure if he meant the scalpel against your skin, or his fingers dipping within your velvety hole, or if he meant to ask the question to himself and not you.
"just please, please keep g-oing." you nodded feverishly, huffs pouring out erratically as he traced the scalpel all across your body, one hand still kneading against the pliable folds. your restrained muscles spasmed, the cold metal still dragging across your sensitive body as he pulled out an orgasm out of you.
the nectar pooled down your fluttering folds and onto his table, and yet law couldn't care more about the code of conduct or his doctor's oath. looking at your ruination, the doctor grinned — his professionalism long gone by.
when you looked at your doctor, he looked crazed. and when he spoke, it was a simple instruction, "i think i should conduct a thorough medical check-up."
of course, that's what you were here for, right?

part 1
You and Alexia are teammates. You still dislike her. So much.
Life at Barcelona was way better than you expected. It had only been a few months but it felt like you’ve always belonged here.
The city was beautiful, you spent most weekends watching the sunset by the beach, a change from the gloomy England you were accustomed to. Sometimes a teammate would join you, mostly Kika or Jana, or you were on your own. You considered getting a pet cat, but you didn’t think they’d love being dragged to the beach. So you put that thought on hold.
Everyone at Barcelona welcomed you with open arms. You were playing better than you’ve ever played before. You and Alexia were… working well too.
After the first training session with your new team, you quickly realized that you and Alexia were better off as teammates instead of rivals. You two worked so well together, assisting each other’s goals and always finding each other on the field that even you were left feeling confused—what were the odds of having this type of connection with someone?
The only thing that didn’t change was the subtle acts of her trying to kill you, which now only happened during training. Pere would put you in separate teams, just because. You had a feeling it was because he liked to see you two fight, you overheard the other girls gossiping about it—how still having that spark of competition was healthy, or something.
You didn’t know how it could still be considered healthy with every shove and every tackle your way.
“Alexia, for god’s sake, that was your fifth yellow!”
“It was not!” The blonde had the decency to laugh.
You laid still on the ground, Alexia having ‘accidentally’ pushed you again. No one batted an eye.
“How is this fair?!” You groaned. “She clearly shoved me!”
“I didn’t! Princesa, get up!”
You could only glare at your captain, still sporting that gummy smile of hers—how were you supposed to focus when she was smiling like that? All innocent as if she had no faults at all. You wanted to kill her back.
“C’mon, cariño,” Alexia offered her hand out for you to take, but you ignored her, choosing to lay still, staring up at the sky.
“Go away.”
You glared at her again when all she did was laugh that addicting laugh of hers. You hated it so much.
“Can we take a short break?” Alexia told someone, you figured it was Pere. As the captain she sure could do anything she wanted. Like shove you around and not get a yellow card. Must be nice.
You closed your eyes and took a deep breath. Your patience was wearing thin. It wasn’t the first time Alexia pushed you. Whether it was intentional or not (you would argue that it was definitely, one hundred percent intentional), you still fell because of it.
Alexia was strong. You didn’t need to see her defined biceps, how broad her shoulders were, those thighs—
You were smaller in frame compared to Alexia, of course she was much stronger than you. You’ve seen her lift weights as if it was nothing, she was so strong, sometimes you wonder if she could lift you up just as easily. That would be so hot. Not that you wanted her to lift you up in her strong arms, but it would be nice.
Suddenly, you felt a warm body next to you. You furrowed your brows and opened your eyes to see Alexia mirroring your position.
“What are you doing?”
She simply shrugged, placing both her hands underneath her head and sighed. “Taking a break next to the prettiest girl on the field.”
You pushed her away from you, earning a laugh, but it only made your blood boil. When she didn’t bulge at all, acting like your shove was weak, you shoved her again, harder this time. “Go away, Alexia. I don’t want you here.”
Alexia scooted even closer to you. “But I’m comfortable here.”
You could only groan and cross your arms (secretly you enjoyed her warmth pressing against you). “My body will turn blue and you’re getting away with it. That was your fifth yellow!”
“We don’t distribute yellow cards during training, bonita.”
“What if I get hurt, huh? You never thought about that?”
“I would never hurt you. All my tackles are clean and I don’t push you to the ground on purpose! It’s all just part of the game, baby.”
“Don’t call me that.” (You liked it. Kind of.)
“Okay, sorry, amor.”
“You’re riling me up.”
You suddenly felt a finger poking your cheek. “What the-”
“Forgive me please, hermosa.”
“No, you’re annoying.” Alexia repeatedly poked your cheek, you had to swat her hand away. “Alexia! Go annoy someone else.”
“Give me a smile please, princesa, you’re prettier when you smile.”
You internally cursed yourself at the slight tug of your lips. You hoped she didn’t notice. Alexia annoyed you to death, but you would be lying if you said you didn’t crave her attention. You sat up and flicked the blonde’s forehead.
“Ow!” you could see a couple of heads turning at Alexia’s shout. “That hurts!”
“No it didn’t, you’re so dramatic,” you looked at how she was still holding a hand over her forehead. “It was nothing.”
“It hurts,” Alexia pouted. She pouted and you felt that tug in your heart at the sight. You sighed, taking her hand away from her forehead, leaning down to inspect what she claimed was forming a bruise.
You didn’t realize how close your faces were, you were too busy focusing on finding any indication of a bruise to see her eyes flicking down to your lips.
“Stop lying,” you stated. “I doubt that hurt.”
“It does,” Alexia whined. “I’m fragile!”
You rolled your eyes at her. You knew the only way to get her to shut up was to turn the tables on her. So you did the only thing you could think of, you leaned down and pressed a soft kiss on her forehead.
The moment you heard her breath hitch, you knew you got her.
“There,” you whispered. “Now it won’t hurt.”
You flashed a smirk at her dumbfounded face and stood up.
Now it was your turn to offer a hand, raising an eyebrow when Alexia did nothing but gaped at you.
“Stop looking at me like that, Alexia,” you took her hand and forced her to get up. “You look like a fish.”
When Alexia said nothing else and you had to drag her to where everyone was, you knew you won this round.
Looking at how red her face was, knowing that it wasn’t because of the heat (it was a cool day in Barcelona), you felt so smug the entire day.
—
“So… you and Alexia are a thing now?”
You spluttered your coffee across the table, Kika grimacing when she felt some of it on her face. “Gross.”
It was a Sunday before a match at home. Ever since the season started, you and Kika had developed a ritual where you would get coffee at this little café near the stadium.
“Then don’t ask me stupid questions when I’m drinking!”
Kika rolled her eyes at you, wiping your mess with some napkins. “It’s not a stupid question when everyone on the team thinks so. I saw you kiss her forehead last week!”
You felt the heat rising up to your cheeks. You thought no one saw that. “I didn’t,” you lied through gritted teeth. “Besides, I hate her. I can’t stand her. I want to kill her. Sometimes.”
“Wow,” suddenly you heard a voice from behind you. A very familiar voice you knew too well (you heard it in your dreams a million times). “I’m sad to hear that, princesa.”
“Alexia.”
You glared at her in greeting when she rested a hand on your shoulder.
“Hola, mi amor,” Alexia grinned at you. Kika was grinning at you too, you wanted to smack your best friend’s face.
“What are you doing here? You’re ruining my pre-game ritual. It involves Kika, coffee, and not seeing your face for a few hours.”
“You wound me, cariño,” Alexia placed a hand over her heart and pouted. She saw the empty seat to your left and went to sit, placing her cup of coffee on the table. “Don’t act like you’re not happy to see me here.”
“I’m not,” you shifted your chair to your right, away from Alexia. It was futile though, because all Alexia did was smirk and followed suit, shifting closer to you every time you moved away.
“You two are so cute,” you were snapped out of your glaring contest with the blonde when you heard Kika’s voice. “I want what you two have.”
Before you could reply, Alexia beat you to it. “Gracias. We are cute, aren’t we, bebita?”
“I’m cute, yes. You? Not so much,” you drank your remaining coffee, wanting to get out of there. A part of you didn’t though. It was that conflicting emotions that resurfaced whenever Alexia was around.
You hated Alexia. You really did. Or at least, you thought you did.
But a part of you knew that you didn’t. You liked her. You liked her presence, you liked the way she looked at you—the stupid smirk always present on her face as her eyes twinkled with mischief—you liked the way her cheeks turned red whenever you flirted back, her stutters before she composed herself and returned that cool demeanour.
You liked how well you two worked on the pitch, how you were so sure that if you two played with a blindfold on, you would still be able to find one another. You liked when you two were the only ones left after a training session, both of you doing extra shooting practices in silence. You liked when Alexia came up to you a day after a match with her iPad, you two sitting down on the floor of the locker room as she showed you what she thought could be improved and you telling her your opinions.
You two liked to bicker, but other times, you two could act friendly too. You liked it a lot when Alexia wasn’t giving off major teenage boy vibes.
(You would be lying if you said you didn’t like when she was purposely riling you up though. You secretly looked forward to it. But you wouldn’t admit it to anyone. Ever).
“Hey, earth to the prettiest girl on the planet,” Alexia waved a hand over your face. Great. You were daydreaming about her again. It was becoming concerning how often your thoughts drifted to her. “All good? We’ve been calling your name.”
Meanwhile Kika was looking at you and Alexia as if the two of you were the modern day Romeo and Juliet. You weren’t even together. You made a mental note to emphasize that to Kika. You and Alexia were colleagues at best.
“I’m all good,” you averted your gaze away from her, hating that her eyes were searching yours, her hazel eyes showing a hint of worry as if she was actually concerned about you.
“All good because I’m here?” Alexia wiggled her eyebrows. Kika’s grin became impossibly bigger. You rolled your eyes to the back of your head.
You took your cup to your lips but realized they were empty. You sighed. Alexia being here made you feel like you need ten more cups of coffee. Before you could stand up and get yourself another though, Alexia took your empty cup and replaced it with hers.
“It’s almond milk,” she stated, her eyebrows raised as if urging you to drink it.
“You hate almond milk,” you said back. It was true, you knew for a fact that Alexia drank her coffee with oat milk. You heard it in passing once and your brain decided to store this fact somewhere. You remembered confronting Alexia about it, because you believed that coffee with almond milk was superior and you couldn’t comprehend how someone could dislike it.
Alexia shrugged at you and you narrowed your eyes at her. Things weren’t adding up. Alexia would never willingly buy this. You could only conclude one thing. “It’s poisonous, isn’t it? Must I remind you that we have a game tonight? I can’t get poisoned!”
The laugh your captain let out was able to make a couple of heads turn in your direction. You slapped her forearm with the hand that wasn’t holding the coffee. “Shut up, Alexia. What’s so funny?”
“It’s not poisonous, princesa,” Alexia rolled her eyes and took back her coffee. She took a sip and exhaled dramatically then put the cup back in your hand. “See? I’m still alive. That was disgusting, but I’m still alive.”
“Okay…” you dragged out, still confused why Alexia bought a coffee she would never drink. You got rid of the thought that she bought it for you. That she went to the café just to see you.
But that would be ridiculous.
…But very possible with the way Alexia let you have her coffee and ended up leaving the café without having drank anything else.
If it was true, it could only mean Alexia wanted something from you and you needed to find out what.
—
The game went fairly easy. You were playing against a team at the bottom of the table. With both you and Alexia starting, it wasn’t a shock that you were up 3-0 within the first fifteen minutes.
Everyone felt good about the game, there were smiles all over the pitch, even you and Alexia hugged after you assisted a goal for her.
It was a calm Sunday night game.
Nobody could predict that an opposing player would mistime their tackle, causing your legs to buckle from underneath you.
The next thing you knew, you were screaming out in pain.
It was your ankle. It hurt a lot.
“Cariño, breathe, calm down, you’re going to be okay.” You heard your captain’s voice before you could see her, your eyes still shut from the excruciating pain you were feeling. “Princesa, you’re okay.”
You felt her hand wipe your tears away, causing you to slowly open your eyes.
Alexia was crouched next to you, you could spot the worry on her face clear as day. You didn’t know why that was, you didn’t think it was simply because she was your captain. Alexia was not usually this concerned when someone else was down. You felt that familiar tug in your heart again, the one present whenever Alexia did something unthinkable.
From the corner of your eyes, you saw the medic inspecting your leg, you heard the mutters of noticeable swelling and how you definitely sprained your ankle.
You tried to control your breathing, following Alexia’s instructions as she repeated over and over for you to breathe. You knew you fucked your ankle. You didn’t know how bad it was though. You hoped for a mild sprain but you doubt it with the way your ankle felt like it wasn’t connected to the rest of your body.
The medic mentioned a possible torn ligament, something you knew that if it was severe, it would take months to recover. Fresh tears appeared from your eyes again. Alexia was there to wipe them away before they fell.
“Hey, hey, focus on me,” Alexia had her hands on your cheeks, she was kneeling now and you almost protested, always feeling that tiny fear whenever she put some type of pressure on her knee even though it was perfectly fine now—not that you cared about her, you just needed her to never get injured again—“Cariño, look at me.”
You focused your gaze on her. Her hazel eyes with so much concern swirling around in them that you felt overwhelmed. “Ale,” you croaked out. “This hurts like shit.”
Alexia let out a watery laugh. You couldn’t figure out why she was tearing up too. “I know, princesa. Just hold on. You’ll be okay.”
“Fuck,” you cursed. You didn’t feel like you would be okay, but you saw the confidence in Alexia’s eyes when she kept on telling you that you’d get through this and that she’d be there for you every step of the way. You could feel yourself starting to believe her.
They pulled out a stretcher for you. A protest was already on the tip of your tongue when you felt Alexia rubbing gentle circles on the back of your hand. “I know you want to walk off this field, but I think it’s better if you get on that stretcher.”
You looked at the blonde next to you and that was when you realized that Alexia knew you better than you thought.
“Being stretched off doesn’t mean you’re any less strong. I’ll see you after the game, okay?”
You could only nod at her, not sure where this Alexia came from.
Alexia kissed the palm of your hand before letting you leave. Despite the pain in your ankle, you felt a little at peace, replaying the way her lips felt against your hand.
—
The doctors confirmed that you had a grade 2 sprain in your ankle. The recovery was going to take a month or so, depending on your progress.
You were just relieved that you didn’t need surgery. You had always been afraid of the hospitals. The thought of staying there for more than a day was chilling.
Now that the pain had subsided, you felt calmer. You were able to plan out what you were going to do to get yourself healthy and back on the field. You were able to replay the events on the field, how you went down and how Alexia was there to take care of you.
Speaking of which, the moment the doctors finished speaking to you, the door opened and Alexia peeked her head in.
“Hola,” Alexia gave you a comforting smile. You noticed she was holding a bag of pastries from your favourite bakery. You raised an eyebrow at her.
“Are those for me?” you croaked out, your words were spoken above a whisper.
Alexia stood next to your bed, dropping the brown paper bag on your lap. “Figured you’d be hungry.”
“I don’t have the stomach to eat,” you tried your best to smile at her. You were so tired. “But thank you.”
“We can heat this up later.”
You looked at her in confusion. “We?”
“Yes,” Alexia answered as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. “I’m taking you home and I’m moving in.”
In your defense, your brain was still hazy from all the pain killers they pumped into you and from the information you had to hear from the doctors and the Barcelona staff. You could have sworn that Alexia, who you weren’t even sure if she was your friend, said she was going to move in. To your place, you assumed.
You figured your brain was just playing tricks on you so you could only nod at her and let her take you home.
—
You were trying to get yourself comfortable on your couch, Alexia fussing over the way you sit and the way your ankle should be rested. It was ridiculous.
“Alexia, I’m fine.”
“Your ankle needs to be at the right angle, hermosa, or else it will hurt even more.” Now Alexia was puffing up the pillows behind you, then putting two more pillows on each of your sides. You were pretty much drowning in your throw pillows.
Once she was satisfied with her work, she flopped on the spot next to you and let out the longest exhale. “I’m glad you’re taking this well, Y/n.”
You looked to your right. Alexia had her eyes closed, she was wearing your hoodie because she complained that your apartment was as cold as the North Pole and she didn’t bring any more clothes with her. Alexia looked at ease and you couldn’t help but let yourself enjoy this view.
This was a side of Alexia you hadn’t seen before.
“You’ve been too nice to me,” you stated. Your statement caused the other girl to raise her eyebrows, a coy smile on her lips. “First, you bought me coffee this morning—”
“I didn’t buy that coffee for you,” Alexia interjected. “Your coffee was finished so I offered you mine.”
You looked at her as if you didn’t believe her. She was lying, you could tell because her lips twitched when she told a lie. “You don’t drink almond milk so I know you bought it for me, hermosa.”
“Ah,” Alexia smirked at you. Your cheeks reddened. “You think I’m beautiful?”
You tried to play it cool, a shrug was your answer. Alexia scooted closer to you, until her body was pressed against the throw pillow on your side. “So you are attracted to me.”
You couldn’t help the scoff that escaped your lips. “No. I only called you that because you call me that all the time. Just making fun of you. Something like that.”
“Well, I call you that because you are beautiful.”
The way your cheeks heat up so quickly should be a crime, honestly. You knew Alexia enjoyed this whole thing.
“You’re… okay,” you shrugged. “You’re not exactly my type.” (A lie).
Alexia looked genuinely offended at your statement. You took great pleasure in the way the frown on her face deepend.
“I’m not your type?” she asked incredulously.
“Nope,” you smiled sweetly at her. “The only person I would date on the team is Frido. Now she’s definitely my type.” You weren’t attracted to Frido at all, but it was fun to see Alexia getting worked up over this.
“Frido is straight!”
“Frido is tall,” you mentioned dreamily—for dramatics.
Alexia crossed her arms. “She’s not that tall.”
“Frido is blonde. All blondes are hot.”
You almost laughed at the way Alexia lights up. “I’m blonde too.”
“Well,” you sent her your best pitying look. “You’re not a natural blonde. It doesn’t count.”
Alexia shot out of her seat. “It does!”
This time you did laugh. Alexia looked like you just told her something so awful, like Barcelona is the worst club in the world. It was adorable. Kind of. “Relax, Capi. I’m not attracted to Frido,” you didn’t know why but you felt the need to clarify.
“Oh,” Alexia sat back down, trying to act nonchalant. You could tell she wanted to ask more questions about your type, but you couldn’t exactly say that she was your type.
A conversation for another day.
“Can you make me something to eat?” you changed the subject before Alexia could say anything else. “I’m hungry now.”
Alexia didn’t say anything else, her face was set to a determined look as she went straight to your kitchen. This was the first time the blonde had stepped in your apartment, but she acted as if she owned the place with the way she moved around your kitchen, somehow knowing where everything was placed.
“I’m going to have to stop by my place to get a couple of clothes. I will be back in an hour.” Alexia handed you a plate. You inspected the sandwich, noting that it had mayo and tomato sauce, just how you liked it. You were too stunned that Alexia knew your sandwich preference that you didn’t catch her sentence until she was halfway out the door.
“Wait!”
Alexia jumped at your voice, immediately turning around. “What? What is it?”
“What… exactly did you mean?”
Alexia looked at you questioningly.
“Why are you going home and coming back in an hour?” you clarified.
“I’m… going to my place because I need clothes? It’s a 20 minute drive.”
You narrowed your eyes. “And why… do you need clothes?”
Because Alexia was Alexia, instead of answering your question seriously, she threw you the biggest smirk with flirty eyes. “Do you prefer I walk around your apartment naked?”
Your eyes widened at her statement. It was ridiculous that you felt your face getting warm at the images of Alexia in your apartment—
“Okay, no! I don’t want you naked—”
“Sure, bonita.”
You groaned. “Can you explain why you’re coming back when you can just go home? I don’t mind. Really. Thanks for bringing me home and for the sandwich.”
“No way. I’m moving in.”
You stared at her, speechless. Neither of you said anything. Alexia muttered something underneath her breath that you couldn’t quite catch and walked back towards you.
“I will take care of you,” Alexia stated, sitting down on the coffee table in front of you. “So the best way to do that is to move in.”
“Move in… here?” you were stunned. Genuinely. “To take care of me…?”
Alexia nodded. She looked so sure of this, it was the face she made when she knew she was going to win a match.
You looked at her as if she was crazy, which she was. So you told her just that. “You’re crazy. You are not moving in.”
“Princesa, I’m moving in,” Alexia said so casually, as if she was saying that she was making omelets for breakfast and not telling you that she wanted to live with you. “Which side of the bed do you prefer?”
You stare dumbfoundedly at her. Alexia wanted to move in because she wanted to take care of you. You felt like you were in some sort of fever dream. Did you get a concussion too aside from a sprained ankle? That was the best conclusion you could think of.
But Alexia was actually in front of you, looking at you as she waited for an answer.
“Right side,” you replied absentmindedly, still not quite believing that this was real. “You're moving in.” You wanted it to be a question, but it came more like a statement.
Alexia flashed you the brightest smile you’ve ever seen. “Yes, I’m moving in,” she stood up and placed a gentle kiss on your temple. You were frozen. You died and this was the afterlife, perhaps. “I’ll be back in an hour, okay?”
“Okay,” you managed to squeak out.
“Anything you need, you tell me, cariño.”
You nod slowly at her, trying to decide what to do next.
Alexia, feeling satisfied that you somehow had agreed to her moving in, continued to sport a smile as she walked to the door. You swore you saw a red tint on her cheeks. She looked almost shy, you realized.
Suddenly, you felt a spark inside. You decided that you had enough and you weren’t going to be the only one flustered here.
“Hey, Ale?”
“Yes, amor?”
“I think… I know what will make me feel better.”
Alexia looked expectantly at you, one hand already on the door knob.
“You… walking around my apartment naked sounds pretty good actually,” you said with an air of pure nonchalance, you could give yourself an oscar. “It’s going to do wonders for my stress level. You know, having a pretty, hot girl tending to my needs.” You sighed dramatically. “Then I would like a massage. So if you have a massage oil at your place, that would be good. If not, I guess lube would work fine too.”
The way Alexia’s eyes widened with every word coming out of your mouth was downright hilarious. You probably broke her with the way she stood by the door, mouth agape, not moving a muscle.
She was saved by Kika, who suddenly appeared, looking confused at the state Alexia was in.
“I’m…I will—” Alexia was stuttering, you were having the time of your life.
“You okay, Capi?”
Alexia looked at Kika, then back at you. “Sí.” Then she bolted.
You heard a crash. Kika later told you it was Alexia who tripped on her shoelaces.
You had a feeling that despite being injured, you were going to enjoy the month ahead.

You’d had your fair share of toxic breakups but this break up with Logan?
This one took the cake.
Thankfully, you had been pretty good at hiding it whenever Theo was near and now nearing the third month of your break up, you were getting better at distracting yourself. So when Nik and Jamie invited you and Theo and Julie to breakfast on Saturday morning, you decided to go and have some fun with them. Theo was holding Nik and Jamie’s cat in his lap, petting him with one hand while he waved his fork around with the other, chattering away.
“And then I gave the wrong answer but then I changed it when I remembered what it said on my book because I had read it the night before, and Professor X said I was one of his best students ever!”
“Well this Professor X sounds right,” Jamie said with a smile. “You’re the smartest kid I’ve ever met.”
Theo gave him a huge smile. “Am I?”
“Yes!”
“Absolutely yes,” Nik added and Julie pinched Theo’s cheek gently.
“And the cutest too.”
“Thank you!” Theo chirped and brushed his fingers through the cat’s fur. “Um- did my mom tell you I have a cat too now?”
“She mentioned it,” Nik said. “Sir…”
“Sir Bartholomeow!” Theo said. “I think he’d get along well with Purrlock. Right Purrlock?”
The cat just blinked at Theo.
“So um—the other day, he wanted to play catch with me I think, so he ran away and I was running after him, and I almost crashed into Laura –she’s a new student, Mr. Logan’s daughter, and then…”
You couldn’t even pay attention to the rest of the sentence as your head snapped up and you blinked a couple of times dumbly. Every adult around the table seemed to be at a loss for words; Nik’s eyes widened, Jamie frowned and Julie’s jaw dropped while you tried to pull yourself together and snap out of the shock.
“And then I found him by the lake, and I think he was trying to make friends with the fish but I’m not—”
“Sorry—” you cleared your throat. “Bean, what was that?”
“Sir Bartholomeow was trying to make friends with the fish,” Theo repeated, taking a piece of pancake into his mouth and you sat up straighter, your heartbeat getting faster.
“No, about the uh…the new student?”
“Oh yes,” Theo said. “Laura. She’s a bit weird. She likes to glare at people and she never talks.”
“Did you say she’s Logan’s daughter?”
Theo nodded his head, chewing on his bite, completely oblivious to everyone’s reaction. Jamie mouthed ‘what the fuck’ before Nik elbowed him and you shook your head.
“Did she…did he—um, how do you know she’s his daughter?”
“Oh everyone in the school knows,” Theo said as Purrlock jumped from his lap, and Theo turned to you, pleading with his eyes.
“Go ahead,” you said and he grinned, then ran after him out of the kitchen. You let out a breath, turning to Julie.
“What the fuck?”
“How did we not know about this?” Julie whispered while Nik rapped his knuckles on the table.
“He never told you?”
“No!” you said. “No I think I would’ve remembered!”
“This just proves he was a bad idea all along,” Jamie stated and you raised your brows.
“Me judging someone for being a single parent would be a bit hypocritical, Jamie.”
“I’m not talking about being a single parent, obviously!” Jamie said, offended. “I’m talking about how he didn’t tell you anything about his daughter. Sounds like too big of a detail to keep hidden.”
You groaned, burying your face into your hands.
“I don’t understand,” you muttered before lowering your hands. “He never once mentioned that.”
“Are we sure he and the mother are separated?”
Your head shot up. “What?”
“I’m just saying—”
“No,” you said, shaking your head. “No. Logan can be an asshole but he’s not that big of an asshole.”
“You said it yourself, he’s fucking with your head.”
“I said he fucked with my head,” you corrected him, your heart skipping a beat. “Which won’t happen again. I don’t even talk to him anymore, and I’ve been hanging out with Hayes remember?”
Nik looked over his shoulder.
“Theo?” he called out. “Sweetheart can you come here for a sec?”
The rushed footsteps reached your ears before Theo appeared at the door.
“Yes?” he said, making his way to you and you smiled, reaching out to fix his glasses.
“Do you know anything about Laura’s mom?” Nik asked and Theo hummed, climbing to your lap.
“She doesn’t have a mom.”
You looked down at him, softly stroking his hair. “Everyone has a mom, Bean.”
“Not Laura. Ralph says she was made in a lab.”
You exchanged glances with Jamie.
“A lab?” Jamie asked. “How’s that buddy?”
“I don’t know,” Theo said, reaching out to pop a piece of pancake in his mouth. “Maybe that’s why she doesn’t talk. I wouldn’t want to talk to people either if I didn’t have a mom.”
You pressed a kiss on top of his head, hugging him tight.
“Can I go play with Purrlock?” he asked, looking up at you and you smiled at him.
“Sure,” you said. “Go ahead and play with Purrlock.”
*
You and Logan had managed to stay out of each other’s way since that moment in his room. He had tried to call you a couple of times but you never answered, and you had made sure not to leave the car whenever you dropped Theo off.
Logan had dumped you, so you weren’t going to let him play with your emotions just because he was jealous you were moving on with Hayes.
Which you weren’t even sure what you were doing with Hayes counted as moving on, considering you two still weren’t dating.
Theo had asked you if he could take Cheeto and Popcorn to school for the week and you had agreed after changing their tank so one with a lid on. You figured if he wanted to introduce them to Sir Bartholomeow it was better to play it safe so you had given him strict instructions never to keep the lid off whenever his cat was near.
“Do you need help, Bean?” you asked as you stepped out of the car and helped him shoulder his backpack.
“No thank you,” he said and gasped as the cat jumped into his arms. “Hi Sir Bartholomeow! Did you miss me on the weekend?”
“Hi Sir Bart,” you said with a smile and scratched at his head. “You have all your books, your phone, and the cupcakes?”
“Yeah,” he said and stole a look at the yard, then turned to blink up at you. “Mommy?”
“Yes sweetheart?”
“That’s her,” he whispered. “That’s Laura.”
You looked over your shoulder to see the little girl sitting by herself in the bench, dangling her feet back and forth as she listened to music on her headphones. Now that you knew she was Logan’s daughter you could see the resemblance but you had a feeling that you would’ve been able to tell anyway seeing the way she glared at people whenever she raised her head to look at them. A small smile pulled at your lips before you tilted your head.
“Why is she alone?”
“Hm?”
“Why is she sitting alone?”
“Well, she doesn’t speak to anyone, mommy,” Theo said as if the answer was obvious. “So no one speaks to her.”
You could feel your chest getting heavy. “She has no friends?”
“No,” Theo said and you pursed your lips, then crouched down to fix his glasses.
“Then you’ll make friends with her, Bean.”
Theo pulled his brows together in confusion. “Me?”
“Mm hm.”
“But mommy, she doesn’t speak to anybody,” he whispered and you shrugged your shoulders.
“Well, then it’ll be a fun friendship. You love talking and she sounds like a good listener.”
“But why doesn’t she talk to anyone?”
“That’s for her to know,” you said. “But remember what I always say. When we have something good, it’s our responsibility to share it and use it to help people.”
He nodded, deep in thought.
“And you have a lot of friends here.”
“I do!”
“So you can help Laura have friends as well,” you told him. “Things would be a bit boring here without your friends, right?”
He nodded again fervently.
“Maybe she likes animals too,” he said, stealing a look at her. “Everyone likes animals and I can introduce her to Sir Bartholomeow and Cheeto and Popcorn. She can come with us to the lake maybe.”
“Sounds like a fun idea,” you said with a smile. “See Bean? You’re incredibly good at this already.”
He gave you a proud smile and hugged you with one arm while holding Sir Bartholomeow with the other. You pressed a kiss on the top of his head, then reached out for the small fish tank on the backseat to get it.
“Are you sure you can carry it?”
“Yes, I’m super strong,” Theo said, making you let out a laugh and you gave the fishtank to him. Once you were sure it wouldn’t fall, you repressed a smile at the happy expression on his face; a cat under one arm and the fishtank under the other.
“Have a nice week!”
“You too mommy!” he said and made his way to Laura. Laura seemed surprised when she saw him stop in front of her and pulled her headphones out of her ears to frown at him slightly, but that did nothing to discourage Theo.
“Hi!” he said, his cheerful voice making you smile. “I’m Theo, and this is Sir Bartholomeow and these are Cheeto and Popcorn. Do you want to be friends?”
Laura blinked a couple of times, then nodded slowly.
“Yay!” Theo said. “I can tell you all about them but um—I need to put Cheeto and Popcorn in my room so that they can officially meet Sir Bartholomeow. We can walk there together if you want and then I can introduce you to Ralph and Timmy and Lucas and everyone else.”
Laura looked around as if she wanted to see whether this was a joke or a threat and her eyes fell on you. You gave her a warm smile and she only stared at you before turning to Theo, then pushed herself off the bench without a word and followed Theo into the mansion while he happily chattered away. You heaved a sigh and watched them until they disappeared into the building, then smiled to yourself and got in the car to drive off.
*
“There you go!” you told the customers with a bright smile as you placed the plate on the table. “Bacon and eggs for you, and pancakes for you. Is there anything else I can get you?”
“No thank you,”
“Of course,” you said and went back behind the counter to repress a yawn. Stacey gave you a sympathetic look.
“Long night?”
“You could say that,” you muttered. “I’m so ready to go home and sleep for like ten hours or something.”
“I’d love to do that but I promised my friends we’d go out tonight,” she said. “And you’re invited as usual?”
“I’m not in much of a party mood,” you said apologetically. “Thanks though.”
“You sure? Paul and his friends are coming too.”
You raised your brows. “Is that right?”
“Don’t do that voice,” she said, pointing at you with a pen and you stole a look at the kitchen window, then turned to him.
“I’m not saying anything,” you said. “Other than that you have been hanging out with him more than usual lately.”
“That counts as saying something,” she told you, making you let out a laugh but your laughter died in your throat when you heard the front door open and turned your head to see Logan. Despite your better judgment, you could feel your heart beating faster but you frowned at yourself and pursed your lips, narrowing your eyes at him.
“The kitchen is closed,” you heard Stacey say as Logan gave you a curt smile and you repressed a laugh, then shook your head.
“Thanks Stace,” you told her and she shrugged her shoulders, then walked to take another customer’s order. You clicked your tongue at Logan, tilting your head.
“Why are you here?”
“I uh…” Logan swallowed thickly. “You haven’t been answering my calls—”
“Wonder why, you genius.”
“And I wanted to thank you.”
That made your frown deeper and Logan cleared his throat.
“Theo said you told him to make friends with Laura.”
A look of realization dawned on your face and you ran a hand over your eyes.
“I didn’t do that for you.”
“No I know,” Logan said quickly. “I know. I got the message after what happened the other day, before the mission.”
“That was you being toxic as fuck, and trust me when I say that it will never happen again buddy,” you told him sternly, looking him dead in the eye and he paused for a moment before he nodded his head.
“Got it.”
“Good.”
“Thank you anyway,” he said. “I know you didn’t do it for me but I really appreciate it, for Laura.”
“It sure was a choice to keep her existence a secret but—” you started and Logan shook his head.
“I didn’t keep it a secret,” he said. “I didn’t know she existed until that mission.”
You blinked a couple of times. “Come again?”
“She apparently was created as a part of this…project,” he said. “They were creating mutant soldiers and they had my DNA. I don’t know her mother, neither does she. She was raised in the lab by the nurses, according to her file.”
You covered your mouth, letting out a breath. “What the fuck?”
Logan let out a dry laugh. “My reaction exactly.”
You could feel your stomach doing an unhappy flip.
“Is she okay now?”
“Your guess is as good as mine,” Logan said. “Actually your guess would probably be better than mine.”
You bit inside your cheek and looked over your shoulder.
“The kitchen isn’t actually closed,” you told him. “Do you want anything?”
Logan hesitated for a moment. “A coffee would be nice if you don’t mind.”
“Sure thing,” you said and grabbed a cup, then filled it with coffee and put it in front of him.
“Thank you.”
“No problem,” you said. “So what…like, she’s a mutant too?”
“She seems to have all my abilities,” Logan said. “So that part of the project worked I guess. But they didn’t really let her out of the lab so she barely knows anything about the outside world.”
You let out a breath and Logan drummed his fingertips on the table.
“That’s why I wanted to say thank you,” he said. “I really appreciate what you told Theo. You didn’t have to do that.”
“No—of course,” you said. “I mean, whatever happened between you and me has nothing to do with her. Every kid deserves to be happy and have friends and…you know, be a kid.”
“I’m not sure if that’s in the cards for her anymore,” he said. “They raised her to be a weapon.”
“Well buckle up buddy, it’s your responsibility to change that now.”
Logan paused for a moment, then cleared his throat.
“Listen, you obviously don’t owe me anything,” he said. “But uh—do you have any tips?”
“For raising a kid?” you asked and he nodded fervently.
“I mean you’re the best parent I’ve seen, and Theo is the happiest kid I’ve ever met,” he said. “But I have zero idea what I’m doing so…”
You gawked at him before a laugh escaped from your lips.
“Well, this is weirdly validating,” you said. “I’ve been telling myself the same thing since I was eighteen and they put Theo in my arms. Interesting to see how you’re never really ready for that, even at 200 years old.”
Logan let out a small laugh.
“Nah, trust me,” he said. “Theo loves you, and you’re doing everything right. Laura hates me.”
“I don’t think that’s true—”
“Oh it is true, she stabbed me multiple times.”
You shrugged your shoulders. “You have healing abilities, you’ll be fine. I’m still not sure my eardrums will ever go back to what they used to be because Theo used to cry like a goddamn banshee for hours so like, who’s the real victim here?”
That irresistible smile curled his lips, making your chest feel all warm.
“I think the first rule of parenthood is the crippling self-doubt,” you told him. “You’ll catch up, no worries.”
“To repeat, it’s not self-doubt if she hates me."
You pulled your brows together.
“Logan,” you said. “Why do I have a feeling that you want Laura to act like Theo?”
“I mean it wouldn’t hurt—”
“I’ve had years to build that with Theo,” you said. “It doesn’t automatically happen the moment someone says you’re a parent. You need to put in the work for that.”
From the look on his face, you could tell that he hadn’t thought about that before.
“I don’t think…” he trailed off, making you frown. “I don’t think I’m the right person for this. To be a father.”
“It’s terrifying, I get it but you’re pretty good with kids actually,” you told him. “You’re very good with Theo.”
“It’s different with Theo.”
“How’s that?”
“Theo is a part of you,” Logan muttered. “Laura is a part of me.”
You pulled back slightly, your heart clenching in your chest.
Oh.
Of course. That made sense now.
“Your self-hatred can’t run that deep,” you told him, your throat burning. “Laura being your daughter doesn’t automatically mean she’s doomed, Logan. Despite what you might think—”
“It dooms her to be a weapon,” he rasped out, the unsaid like me hanging in the air and you shook your head fervently.
“Anyone can be a weapon if you let them,” you insisted. “You don’t want Laura to be a weapon? Don’t raise her to be one.”
He held your gaze in his and opened his mouth to say something but before he could, Stacey cleared her throat loudly, making your head snap up and you saw Hayes walking into the diner. You blinked a couple of times, desperate to appear normal and pulled back a little to smile at him.
“Hey!”
“Hi,” he said, smiling back at you as he took the seat beside Logan’s. “Sorry I dropped by unannounced, I had a small break so I figured…”
From how Logan’s body went rigid, you knew he recognized Hayes’ scent because it was on you that one time. You stole a look at him and his jaw clenched but then he forced a curt smile at you.
“Thanks for the coffee,” he said, putting some cash on the counter before he stood up and you bit inside your cheek, clearing your throat.
“Sure. See you around.”
He held your gaze in his, then nodded and walked to the door while Hayes looked over his shoulder.
“Who was that?”
You paused only for a moment.
“Theo’s teacher,” you said, painfully aware that he could hear you and that made Logan stop by the door for a second before he walked out of the diner. You tried to ignore the pang in your chest and turned to Hayes, willing a smile on your face.
“I’m glad you dropped by, unannounced or not,” you told him. “So what’s up?”

"So I was saying."
We got interrupted then. Sam sat back. As that dip shit Juan came up to us with a pamphlet. The school yard was a buzz. Break was about to end.
"You were saying?"
"You've seen my dick. Its small."
"Is it? You a grower? My dick is small when I'm cold and when, I don't know, it just is small sometimes. In the locker room I tug at it so I don't shrink too much. What are you asking me?" There are small dicks large dicks and everything in between."
"Of course I get a Boner. I don't want a boner in the locker room does anyone?"
"I'm listening."
"I just feel inferior."
"I think but for a few guys every one feels that."
"You don't"
"I do."
"You feel inferior because of your cock."
"Yeah sometimes I let it get to me, especially when I got shrinkage."
"Well what is the normal size?"
"You mean average size. Normal is pretty much 2' to 7" I guess. You could look it up."
"How do you measure a cock?"
"I don't know maybe the most accurate way is if every measure is of a hard cock. Put the ruler on the top start at your body and measure to the tip I guess."
"Hard. You have doe this?"
"Yeah. but don't sweat it. Guys that talk about the size of another guys cock have issues. So don't let that conversation even take your time just leave it, don't respond to it. If pressed just say grow up."
"So you don't look at my dick or know what size it is?"
"Yeah of course I've seen your dick. We are in the same gym class. You have a nice dick. Okay is this settled now?"
"I have seen your dick, a little hard once or twice as well. Your dick is bigger than mine. Is yours an average size?"
"Yeah that is the consensus. We got to get to class."
"I'm going to send you a dick pic later today but you got to erase it after you see it and then I got another couple of questions. Don't look at me like I'm some kind of idiot."
"Really? Don't obsess about this."
"Todd you are the only one I can resolve this with. I was thinking I could go talk to the doctor about it but my folks would have to know about it. God I'm embarrassed."
"Okay, but what answer are you really after?"
"I'll call you tonight. I can just come over."
As we get to class the bell rings. Sam looks over to me a couple of times kind of sheepishly so I look away. Poor guy is stressed out and I'm resigning myself to help him. We walk home together for most of the way, until I reach my street and he continues.
"What time you coming over?"
"7:30 okay?
"Yeah, sure, fine. I'll call if things change or you call me too."
Dinner was done. I got Sam's picture like he said. In the picture his cock was sticking out with a full hard on. He's bigger than I thought. I did't know what I thought his cock would measure but In the picture he has a ruler on top and he measures less than 4" but about 4". I did think about erasing the pic but it was kind of hot. I didn't want to think that but I got a little hard. I wondered how it would feel. Then I dismissed all thought of it.
While I took the trash cans to the street I see Sam walking my way. He's early but then I thought he would be early.
"Hi, got your pic."
"I'm early. I was going to wait out here for a while but here you are."
"You want to go inside? Help me with the green can?"
"Yeah. I have to do this too at home.
As we walk in dad looks up and just nods.
"Hi, Sam its been awhile since you have been here hasn't it?"
"Hi, yeah been awhile we don't have projects together I guess."
We headed for the back of the house to my bedroom. We said nothing for a bit. Sam looks at my shelves looking at what I don't know.
"You think we are private?"
"Yeah we are at the back of the house. You like Metalica don't you?"
"Dads music, yeah although I haven't in a while." said Sam. I listen to a lot of odd artists. I found a Queen CD at the thrift store. I like."
"I have one. I'll play it. You haven't been here in a long time. We used to play a lot of odd stuff, even classical. God I loved the Rachmaninoff CD. The music starts. "Great picture by the way. Mind if I keep it for awhile? Leave it on my phone or move it to my computer?"
"No don't keep it."
"Okay I tried. I wanted some personal porn though. See I'm erasing it." I smiled at him as I showed him the screen and hit the trash button. Sam didn't know if he was flattered or living a horror.
"About that." He paused. "Why are you flattering me about that?"
"You look good, hot. What are you afraid of? What's up?" I think I knew something about Sam, enough to know that he is gay. He never said it to me and probably had not confessed to anyone. I think my mom thought it too but then I think she knows I'm gay too. I had decided that I wasn't going to tell Sam until just this moment that I am gay but I wasn't going to tell anyone else, maybe until I went to college. I don't care what people think but I'm not going to fuel it if I can help it.
"You know I'm gay don't you? I'm afraid that I can't be loved if I have a small dick. It hurts me if you joke about my cock being hot. I don't know anything but I feel so much. Some things I want to feel with another person but I'm afraid. I have been hiding things and I'm tired of it.
"Sam, I'm gay. You are the only person that I have told. I want to keep that between us. Is that okay? I do think your cock pic is hot. I want to share myself with you if you want to share too. I took Sam's arm. What do you say? Tell me what is bothering you.
"Can you hold me? Sam asked. Then he whispered that he needed someone to love him as he is. We can learn together.
"You should not feel inferior. I could feel inferior as well. I have seen log cocks and I confess a nice cock is something to behold. I have bunch of them on my computer but I imagine the best cock the most awesome are those that are shared with another. Feel me. Can I feel you?
"So when do we fuck?" Sam whispered back. "You feel good."
"So do you." Then we started to laugh.

Just a dream // OP81
| pairing: oscar piastri x reader
| summary: reader has a bad dream that oscar gets hurt and goes to him for comfort
| warnings: reader is implied female, use of y/n(i rlly tried not to i swear)
| authors note: wrote this instead of studying for a final :D
You're standing in the garage, your heart pounding in your chest as the roar of the engines reverberates through the air. Oscar's car zooms past in a blur of papaya and black. Everything is perfectly normal until it isn't. Taken over by an uncontrollable lockup, the car suddenly veers, tires squealing against the asphalt as it careens off track. Time suddenly moves in slow motion. You watch in horror, unable to move, as the car flips, the sound of metal crunching and the smell of burnt rubber filling the air. You're screaming his name, but no sound leaves your mouth. The world tilts on its axis as you hear them announce a red flag and medics storm the accident scene. You can't move, your body frozen in place. And worst of all, you know you can't reach him.
You wake up with a gasp, chest heaving as if you've just run a marathon, tears streaming down your face and hands trembling as you clutch the blankets around you. The guest room in Oscars Monaco apartment is dark, the faint glow of the moon streaming in through the curtains your only light source. But the feeling of the nightmare lingers, both vivid and suffocating.
You squeeze your eyes shut, willing the images to fade, but they don't. All you can see is the mangled car and the unbearable thought of losing Oscar. Your heart aches, feeling as though it's just been ripped out and stomped on, panic still fresh and raw. You need to see him, reassure yourself he's okay, even if you know it was just a nightmare.
Before you can second guess your movements, you're throwing the duvet off yourself and padding quietly down the hall to his room. You've been best friends with Oscar since you could walk, since the days of sharing snacks and playing hopscotch, even his move to the UK couldn't sever your bond. Staying at his place in Monaco felt natural, as did staying at his place in London, it felt like slipping back into the comfortable rhythm of sleepovers from when your were just a couple of little kids, but after that dream comfort was the last thing you were feeling.
His bedroom door is slightly ajar (something he insists on doing in case you need him, to which you always laughed at until tonight) and you push it open gently, trying not to make a sound. The room is dim, lit only by the same moonlight that was filtering in through the curtains in the guest room. Oscar's sleeping form was a shadow under a pile of blankets, his steady breathing a stark contrast to your own racing heart. Just seeing him alive and at peace and, most of all, safe eases some of the tension you were feeling in your chest.
But as you take a step closer, the floor betrays you by creaking, the noise disrupting his steady breathing.
"y/n?" his voice is laced with sleep and groggy but it's more than enough to break the dam that was previously holding back your tears.
"I..." your voice cracks, and you quickly scrub at your faces trying to stop the tears but it's to no avail. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you, this was stupid." you rapidly apologize.
He sits up at this, covers falling to lay across his hips, "Hey, hey, hey, no I promise it's not stupid." he coos, his concerned tone tugging at your heartstrings, "what's wrong?"
You hesitate, still feeling ridiculous, even more so with his attention directly on you. But the nightmares grip on you still hasn't loosened. "I had a nightmare," you admitted, voice quiet. "I just... I just needed to make sure you were okay."
Oscars expression softens, scooting over patting the empty space beside him, "Oh love, come here."
Trying to ignore how the name made your heart skip in the best of ways, you slowly make your way toward his bed. slipping under the covers hesitantly, but being encouraged by his soft gaze.
The warmth of his body and duvet surrounds you and the familiar scent of him fills you with a comforting warmth. Oscar shifts closer, his arm draping over your shoulders as you pulls you into his chest.
"It's okay," he murmurs into the crown of your head, "It was just a dream."
You nod against his chest, focusing on the steady rhythm of his heart. It's grounding, acting as a reminder that he's here and safe. "It felt so real," you whisper into his chest, "I saw you crash, and I couldn't do anything, I was stuck. I thought... I thought I lost you."
His hold on you tightens, and you hear him suck in a sharp breath while resting his chin atop your head, "I'm not going anywhere, I promise," he says firmly.
For a while, neither of you speaks. The soft sounds of the city outside and the rustle of sheets the only sounds filling the silence. The two of you just enjoying the warmth of each other. Slowly but surely, the pain in your chest ebbs, replaced with a new anxious feeling—one that you've been feeling for years but never brought up.
"Osc?" you say softly, pulling back just enough to meet his eyes.
"Yeah?" his eyes filled with warmth, focused on you and you only.
You take a shaky breath, heart pounding for a reason entirely different from when you first stepped in here. "I don't know what I would do without you," you admit softly, "You mean so much to me."
His gaze searches yours, and for a moment you begin to panic that you've said too much, but then his hand comes up to gently cup your cheek, his thumb brushing away a stray tear that was on your cheek. "You mean everything to me," he says, voice barely above a whisper.
Your breath catches as he leans in close, lips capturing yours in a kiss that begins as soft and gentle. as if he's testing the waters but deepens as he feels you respond, fingers threading through his soft hair, years of unspoken feelings between the two of you spilling out.
When you finally pull apart, you're both breathless, eyes sparkling. He presses his forehead against yours, a small, youthful and disbelieving smile on his lips. "You've got no idea how long I've wanted to do that." he admits.
"I think I do," you giggle, pulling him in for another quick kiss that becomes not so quick.
He finally pulls back again, shifting to pull you tight to his chest as you nuzzle into his neck, "We should get some sleep," he says, "I'm okay and I'm right here with you. I promise," he eases your lingering fears without you even having to ask.
And for the first time that night, you feel safe. Laying there with his arms tightly wrapped around you, the steady beat of his heart beneath you, and him pressing a soft kiss against your head, the nightmare feels like a distant memory. You close your eyes with a smile on your lips as you drift off, comforted by the fact that you know he's safe and that he's now yours.

Part three of CEO!John Price
Part one | Part two
CW : smut, oral sex, unprotected sex, semi-public sex, mating press, little power imbalance, reader is a female
After you read the note that John left for you on your table, you are left feeling quite nervous but also excited. You were prepared for this. When you were getting ready for work this morning, you put on your favorite underwear. Lacy pink panties and matching bra that made your tits look great. You put on a lot of perfume, the one John had bought for you. You wore your best outfit, and you felt sexy and confident. You wanted to impress John, yesterday took you by surprise, but now you were in charge. When the time for his lunch break came, you were ready, so when you went to his office you knew what you wanted. You wanted him.
You find John sitting behind his table, working on his laptop. He looks good, so fucking hot without even trying. When he realizes that it´s you, who just walked in, he immediately shuts up his laptop and his full attention is on you. “Suddenly my day just got a lot better” he says and walks to you.
He gently places his hand on your cheek, and he kisses you. It’s nothing like the kiss you shared yesterday. This one is soft and gentle, like now he has time to taste you properly. He takes his time kissing you. When you try to touch him more, he pulls away. “Not now sweetheart, we have plans don’t we”. John walks out of the office with you. His hand on your back walking you through the whole floor like you’re his wife and not his secretary.
You’re confused. You expected a quick sex in his office, just like yesterday, you expected him to just pull your skirt up and fuck you on the desk. But now he is taking you somewhere in his expensive car and you’re wondering what the hell is going on.
You don’t know how John is feels about dating. You always thought that he was the type who just had casual sex with different partners. Since you started working for him, he didn’t have a girlfriend, but you heard from your colleges that he enjoys a company of beautiful women. Sometimes the relationship lasts longer but mostly there were a few weeks hook ups.
You stop in front of some Italian restaurant. He opens your door for you and like a true gentleman he helps you to get out of the car. The restaurant is lovely, there are only a few people inside and it looks really cozy. After you order your food he asks about your day, how did you sleep and what are your plans for the evening. He acts like you’re on a normal date and not on a business lunch. “I can see that something is bothering you, you don’t like it here?” John asks you after he notices how out of the place you look.
You tell him that you don’t understand what is going on, why are you here and what are you doing. “Well, I know that you don’t go out for your lunch break, so I wanted to take my girl out, take care of you.” He says it is not a big deal. “Your girl?” you ask. “What did you thought that I’m just going to fuck you in my office, when I am will be bored? John asks and your face goes red. That is exactly what you thought he would do. “I take care of my partners. I want to spoil you. Since you started to work for me you have been such a good girl, making my life so much easier. Now it is my turn.” You’re left speechless.
After the lunch, he takes you back to the office. His hand is on your thigh while he drives and it’s making you insane. Yes, you do like that he took you out but you’re so horny. The whole morning you imagined what he would do to you, and you were excited. And now he is teasing you with his fingers lightly brushing over your skin and each time he goes higher and higher.
At one moment when John’s hand is almost all the way under your skirt you moan. He looks at you with a playfulness in his eyes. Now he is teasing you on purpose. He continues to drive while his hand is slowly making its way in your panties. “Fuck love, you’re soaked, you could tell me that you wanted me so much.” Gently he starts to circle your clit and you’re opening your legs more for him.
He slowly puts two of his fingers inside you and after a while he starts to move them. You’re almost at the office building when he makes a turn and starts to drive in a different direction. “Where are we going?” you ask. “I made a promise to you yesterday, haven’t I. Were not fucking in my car. I am taking you to my place, so we don’t have to worry about some of your colleagues catching us fucking. We would want Janice from finance to see how good you take my cock. Am I right?”
To be honest you don’t care if Janice saw you. You’re so close and you can feel your orgasm approaching. John still casually drives while his fucking your pussy with his fingers. When he pulls his fingers out of you, you’re desperate, you just need a little bit more and you know that he knows it too. “You will come on my face in a minute don’t worry” John says.
And he is right the drive to his house is short and you both quickly get out of the car. When the door to his house closes behind you, he is immediately on you. Kissing you passionately and lifting you up so your legs are wrapped on his hips. He walks with you up the stairs not letting you go.
“Everything off, I want to see you” he says when he lays you on his bed. You’re quick with your clothes and now you lay before him in nothing but your panties. “Fucking beautiful, and I bet you taste even better than you look.” “Spread your legs for me, sweetheart, let me see you” he gently pulls your panties, and he shows his head between your thighs. You’re already so wet and when he finally starts to lick your pussy your gone. You arch your back, and you can hear him whisper fucking perfect for me.
When his tongue finds you clit you’re gone. He looks up at you and you can see your wetness on his beard and it’s the hottest thing you have ever seen. He quickly brings you to your orgasm and as he promised you to come on his face. When you finally come down from your orgasm you can see him taking his shirt off. He unzips his pants and quickly takes them off. He is on you naked, and you can see his hard dick leaking precum.
“I want to see your face this time, I want to see how pretty you’re going to look when I make you come on my dick.” He slowly pushes in you. “You were made for me honey, youre going to be the death of me.” he growls, and he starts to move in you. John is a big man and the way his stretching you is amazing. You can feel him everywhere and you are full.
It’s completely different than the sex you had yesterday. This is slow, his thrusts are hard, but it’s not rushed like the last time. He plays with your nipples, and you can feel that your second orgasm is approaching. “I am going to cum” you tell him, and you can feel that he is close too. He pushes your legs to your chest in a mating press and you can feel him so much deeper. “I need to come in your sweet pussy, please sweetheart be a good girl and let me” he says and you just nod. His fingers start to rub your clit and your orgasm hits you. He follows shortly after you spilling his seed into you. When he pulls out of you, he pulls you to his chest and he holds you so tight. You just lay there and you on his chest and his hands holding you.
You don’t go back to work that day, you stay at his place the night and the next day he drives you to your apartment. He tries to convince you to take the rest of the week off, so he can enjoy your company, but you tell him that he is the boss, and he needs to work, and he can’t take a vacation just because he is horny. You go to work and when you go to your desk you see a note there, just like yesterday. But this time it says: My office now! And loose your panties on the way.

Imagine if he meets him in his Clark persona, and Danny is just walking around, and Clark keeps trying to talk to him, kinda stares at him, and offers to let him use his justice league insurance if he ever needs something.
Danny at first finds it odd but now just thinks he just looks wasted enough for some poor reporter to worry about his health, which he finds super sweet, he doesn't take the insurance offer up but he does thank him
And the next day when he has some free time he goes to a massage therapist and cooks himself a proper meal, washes his face and tries to have a good night. He makes decent money but the low ecto from metropolis makes him tire easier.
Ecto and human energy in the cells(ATP) can be interchanged, in a high ecto area Danny can transfer that extra into ATP to help him heal faster
And in a low ecto place where Danny is starved of ecto he needs to eat a lot more to maintain his ghost half, it's like a second body overlaying the first
Danny doesn't know that so he just thinks it's tiredness from low ecto
The next time Danny sees Clark he tells him he looks well, and asks if something good happened, you know, general polite small talk, but it still kinda kinda looks like he's gritting his teeth in worry, he's so nice!
So they get to chatting more and become good friends, and while this is happening in Clark's mind a thought suddenly enters his brain, how did this still even get in there, like, he's gotten pretty close to the guy, how did he get half the stuff in him in his body? How is he even alive rn???
And then suddenly it hits him, he's superman, why doesn't he just tell Danny he's got a bunch of junk in his organs!
And so they say their farewells and the next time superman is patrolling the city he finds Danny specifically and straight up tells him that he's got a ton of stuff in his guts and he should see a doctor, and HE JUST BRUSHES IT OFF!!!
He's got a phone charger, gauze, lip balm, a lighter, earphones, a note book, a whole colouring set, and.. some sort of.. bomb?????????
He's just so absolutely full of random shit, and then he realizes, some of this stuff is new
WHO IS PUTTING THIS IN YOU?????
And Danny is just breaking his brain trying to find a way to bullshit his way out of this, he gives up and just disappears when superman turns to call the police to give this guy some protection
Danny turns invisible and intangible and sinks through the floor as soon as he turns his back
And when superman looks back at him he's gone
He proceeds to question everything
Later on Danny sees superman again and he just looks so confused and traumatized, like a baby deer who's been confronted by a very pushy used car salesman.
Danny's heart can't take it so he decides to wave at him and call him over to give him a proper explanation, and it soothes his nerves, but now he's going to the government about how terrible the regulations for home labs are, cause his accident should have never happened, who puts experimental technology next to kids??? This should be illegal!!
And so the home lab regulations act passed and a lot of evil scientists ended up not having kids or safeguarding them properly, which greatly reduced child lab accidents
Danny's got a habit of phasing things into his body, in case he needs it.
This is, of course, perfectly fine. When he needs a pen, notepad, sticky note, phone, wallet, bam he's got it! It's a convenient way to store all his things.
Superman, however, is incredibly worried. X-ray vision isn't perfect, and he can't always understand what he's seeing beyond simple shapes.
He does, however, know that this boy has several unidentifiable masses in his body - completely crowding his organs. Is he okay???
#dpxdc#dc x dp#dcxdp#dp x dc#dpxdc prompt#im thinking Danny is at some disaster site that Superman responds to#theres rubble everywhere and hes searching with x-ray vision for survivors#until he sees this boy with an incredibly slow heartbeat and several masses in his body#did he get impaled??? is he okay??? hospital time 🏥#Danny however is Not Having It™

finding out you were a bet, ENHYPEN.
featuring — enhypen members x gn!reader ( masterlist )
summary — a reaction of what happens when you find out that dating you was actually a bet they made but they caught the feels!
contents — angst, arguments, hurt.
hee ☁ seung
heeseung froze when he saw the look on your face — hurt, betrayal, disbelief. “you knew?” he asked quietly, his voice barely audible.
“you lied to me,” you said, your voice trembling as you held back tears. “dating me was just a bet?”
heeseung’s head fell into his hands as he sank onto the edge of the couch. “at first, yes,” he admitted, his voice shaky and almost panicked. “but it wasn’t supposed to turn into… this.”
“into what?” you demanded, your eyes narrowing as the frustration bubbled over. “into me falling for you while you were laughing behind my back?”
“no!” he shouted, his voice loud enough to startle you. he stood abruptly, his face pale as he struggled to meet your eyes. “i swear it was never like that. it was stupid — immature. i didn’t think… i didn’t think i’d fall for you the way i did.”
you scoffed, crossing your arms as tears spilled over. “how am i supposed to believe anything you say now?”
he took a hesitant step closer, his hands raised as if to reach for you but stopping midway. “because i know i don’t deserve your trust, but i love you. that’s real. it’s the only thing i’m sure of,” he said, his voice shaking. “if you walk away right now, i won’t blame you, but please, don’t think for a second that what i feel for you isn’t real.”
jay ☁
“why didn’t you tell me?” you asked, your voice cold but laced with pain. “were you ever going to?”
jay’s jaw tightened as he leaned against the wall, staring at the floor. “i wanted to, but i didn’t know how,” he admitted, his tone subdued.
“right, because lying to me was easier,” you shot back, your arms crossed tightly over your chest.
jay finally looked up, his dark eyes filled with regret. “it wasn’t like that,” he said firmly. “at first, yeah, it was a bet. but i didn’t think it would turn into this. into me actually caring about you.”
“you cared so much you kept it a secret,” you said bitterly.
he pushed off the wall, closing the distance between you. “because i was scared of this,” he said, gesturing between you. “of losing you before i could show you how much you mean to me. i know it’s my fault and i messed up, but you’ve got to believe me when i say i’ve never felt this way about anyone before.”
you hesitated, his words conflicting with your anger. “you broke my trust, jay,” you whispered.
“i know,” he said, his voice soft but unwavering. “and i’ll do whatever it takes to earn it back. just give me a chance to prove to you that i’m not the guy who made that stupid bet anymore.”
sung ☁ hoon
sunghoon’s face turned pale when you confronted him. “is it true?” you asked, your voice trembling. “was dating me just some kind of bet to you?”
he froze, his usually calm demeanor crumbling. “who told you that?” he asked quietly, his voice barely above a whisper.
“so it’s true,” you said, the hurt in your eyes making his stomach twist.
“at first, yes,” he admitted, his gaze dropping to the floor. “but it wasn’t like that for long. i swear, everything i feel for you now… it’s real.”
you let out a bitter laugh, tears slipping down your cheeks. “how convenient for you. do you know how humiliating this is for me?”
“i know,” he said, his voice trembling as he took a step closer. “and i hate myself for it. for being so stupid, for not telling you sooner. but please, believe me when i say i never meant to hurt you.”
“how can i believe anything you say now?” you shot back.
he hesitated, his eyes pleading. “because i wouldn’t be standing here like this if i didn’t care about you,” he said, his voice breaking. “you mean everything to me. i know i don’t deserve your forgiveness, but i’ll do whatever it takes to make this right. just… don’t walk away from me.”
jake ☁
the moment jake saw the text on your phone, he knew the truth had come out. “you know,” he said, his voice hollow as he approached you.
you turned to face him, eyes blurring with tears. “how could you do this to me?”
jake’s chest tightened at the sight of your pain. he had never seen you cry. “it wasn’t supposed to go this far,” he said quickly, his voice desperate. “it was a dumb bet, and i was stupid to agree to it. but i swear, everything after that… it’s real. you have to believe me.”
“how can i?” you asked, your voice cracking as you almost felt nauseous from the news sinking in. “you lied to me from the start, jake. i thought you cared about me.”
“i do!” he exclaimed, stepping closer. his hands hovered near yours, but he didn’t dare touch you. “i care about you so much it scares me. that’s why i didn’t tell you — i didn’t know how to admit i’d messed up so badly.”
you shook your head, your eyes full of hurt. “i can’t even look at you right now.”
jake’s shoulders slumped, his voice trembling. “i don’t blame you,” he said softly. “but if there’s even the smallest part of you that feels the way i do, please… let me fix this. let me prove i’m not that guy that you think i am. i don’t want to lose you.”
su ☁ noo
sunoo knew something was wrong the moment you looked at him, your usual warmth replaced with cold distance. “what’s going on?” he asked nervously.
“i know,” you said bluntly, holding up your phone with a message that revealed everything. “dating me was just a bet to you.”
his breath hitched, and he immediately shook his head. “it’s not like that anymore,” he said quickly, his voice filled with panic.
“then what was it like?” you demanded, your voice breaking. “was it all just a joke to you?”
“no,” he said firmly, stepping closer. “it was never a joke, even in the beginning. i know i was wrong — so wrong — but i didn’t think it would turn into this. into me falling for you.”
you crossed your arms, tears welling in your eyes. “how am i supposed to believe that?”
sunoo’s own eyes filled with tears as he clasped his hands together, almost in prayer. “because i’ve never cared about anyone the way i care about you,” he said, his voice cracking. “you make me want to be better—to deserve you. please don’t give up on us because of my stupid mistake.”
jung ☁ won
jungwon could feel the tension radiating from you as soon as you walked in. “what’s wrong?” he asked cautiously.
you turned to him, holding your phone tightly. “were you ever going to tell me?”
his heart dropped. “tell you what?” he asked hesitantly, though he already knew.
“that this whole thing — us — was just a bet?” you said, your voice trembling with anger and pain.
jungwon’s lips parted, but no words came out. finally, he sighed, running a hand through his hair. “it started that way,” he admitted, his voice low. “but it’s not like that anymore. i swear, i didn’t mean for it to happen, but… i fell for you.”
you scoffed, your arms crossed. “do you know how humiliating this is for me? how stupid i feel for trusting you?”
“i know,” he said, his voice filled with guilt. “and i hate myself for it every day. but please, don’t think for a second that my feelings for you aren’t real. they are.”
you shook your head, tears spilling over. “i don’t know if i can believe you.”
jungwon stepped closer, his expression desperate. “then let me show you,” he said softly. “give me a chance to prove to you that you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me. i’ll do whatever it takes.”
ni ☁ ki
ni-ki’s eyes widened as soon as he heard your words. “it was a bet, wasn’t it?” you asked, your voice cold.
he froze, his usually playful demeanor gone. “who told you?” he asked, panic creeping into his voice.
“so it’s true,” you said, your voice cracking. “i can’t believe this.”
“it was stupid,” he blurted, stepping toward you. “i was stupid. i didn’t think it would matter at first, but then i got to know you, and everything changed.”
you shook your head, tears streaming down your face. “that doesn’t change the fact that you lied to me. that i was just a game to you.”
“you were never just a game,” he said urgently, his voice trembling. “i know i messed up — i know i don’t deserve your forgiveness. but you’re the only person who’s ever made me feel like this, and i don’t want to lose you.”
you hesitated, your anger battling with the raw sincerity in his voice. “how am i supposed to trust you again?”
“i’ll earn it,” he said quickly, his hands clenching into fists. “i’ll spend the rest of my life earning it if i have to. just don’t leave. please.”

But he can't let you go, and comes up with a plan to try and when you back - or at least figure out what to say to you. That is until an unexpected accident throws a wrench in both of your plans. Tyler is determined to show you that he can be there for you when you need him to, but the emotions of being around him again start to rise inside you. Memories of what you once had - and what you lost - keep pulling at you. Especially when Tyler doesn't let the space between you stop him from quietly being there when you need him most.

TYLER’S P.O.V.
Tyler stood on the front porch of his old farmhouse, staring out at the horizon as the last rays of sunlight dipped below the tree line. The weight of the conversation he was preparing for sat heavy in his chest. His truck keys dangled from his fingers, his grip tightening and loosening as doubt gnawed at the edges of his determination.
He wasn’t sure what he was going to say to you–only that he needed to say something. He couldn’t let things end the way they had, not without trying to make it right. He had so many things he still needed to say to you.
But the weight of your words, the hurt in your eyes the last time you’d spoken, kept playing on a loop in his head. Then the doubts crept in. What if he’d already blown it? What if showing up just made everything worse?
But then he thought, what if it helped? What if it fixed everything? What if you gave him a chance?
With a final sigh, he pushed off the railing and headed for his truck. He figured you were probably at your mom’s house which wasn’t too far of a drive from his place. He pulled open the driver’s door and slid in behind the wheel.
He had just turned the engine over when his phone buzzed in the cup holder. He glanced down and saw your best friend’s name flashing across the screen. His stomach dropped. Why would she be calling? Was it to chew him out for breaking your heart? He wouldn’t blame her if it was. Tyler hesitated, his hand hovering over the phone. He almost let it go to voicemail, but then a pang of guilt hit him. He deserved whatever lecture your friend was about to give, so he swiped to answer.
“Look,” he said, bracing himself. “I know what you’re going to say, and-”
“Tyler.” Your friend interrupted, her voice sharp but trembling slightly. His brow furrowed at the crack in her tone. “Something’s happened.”
The world seemed to tilt under his feet, Tyler clutched the steering wheel as your friend’s words came out in a rush. “It’s her mom. There was a car accident. Her mom’s in surgery right now. She…she’s at the hospital by herself, and-”
“Wait,” Tyler cut in, his voice hardening as he processed her words. “Surgery? Is…is her mom gonna be okay?”
“They don’t know yet,” your friend admitted, her voice quieter now. “Tyler, I don’t know. It…it sounds bad. And she’s…she’s trying to be strong, but you know how she gets. She’s telling us all that she’s fine, but I don’t think she is.”
Tyler stayed silent, his jaw clenched so tightly it ached. His pulse pounded in his ears as the reality of the situation hit him. Your mom was in the hospital. You were alone. And here he was, debating whether or not he should show up.
“I think you should go.” Your friend said.
“I don’t think I’m the guy she wants to see right now,” he admitted, his voice low.
Your friend huffed, frustration creeping into her tone. “You’re exactly the guy she needs right now. Whether she realizes it or not.”
“She told me-”
“I know what she told you, Tyler.” Your friend snapped, cutting him off. “Trust me. I was there the night of her birthday when you weren’t. I know. But I also know she’s hurt and scared and stubborn as hell, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t need you. She won’t say it, but I will…get over yourself and get to the hospital. She shouldn’t be alone right now, and you know it.”
Tyler’s hand tightened on the steering wheel. He didn’t respond right away, his mind spinning with doubts and what ifs. What if showing up made things worse? What if you pushed him away again?
“Tyler.” Your friend said softly, her tone shifting. “You love her, don’t you?”
The question hit him square in the chest, knocking the air out of his lungs. “Of course I do,” he murmured.
“Then prove it,” she said simply. “Be there for her.”
Your friend hung up after that, but her words lingered in his mind. Tyler sat frozen for a moment, his thoughts a chaotic mess. He could still hear your voice from the last time you’d spoken, the way it had cracked with anger and pain. The fear of making things worse clawed at him, but your friend’s voice echoed louder: Be there for her.
Tyler put the truck in drive and started making his way towards the hospital. Screw his doubts. This wasn’t about him. It was about you. And if there was even a chance you needed him, he wasn’t going to let you down again.
YOUR P.O.V.
The waiting room was eerily quiet, save for the faint hum of fluorescent lights and the occasional voice paging a doctor over the intercom. You sat in the corner, hunched over with your elbows on your knees, your hands clasped tightly together. The plastic chair was uncomfortable, but you hardly noticed. Your foot tapped a restless rhythm against the tiled floor, the nervous energy pulsing through you too much to contain.
You’d sent everyone away. Your best friend had tried to stay, but you insisted you didn’t need her hovering. You also told her some lie that the nurses said only immediate family could stay. Your dad had called multiple times, offering to send a neighbor or someone to sit with you until he could get there. But you told him the same thing. You didn’t need anyone there with you. You’d be fine until he could get there.
The silence was suddenly interrupted by the steady thud of boots against the linoleum floor, echoing down the hallway. You barely glanced up, expecting to see another loved one ignoring your instructions to stay away.
Without lifting your head, you muttered, “Go home. I’m fine.”
The boots stopped. You waited for a response, but none came. Irritation flared, and you straightened slightly in your chair.
“I said, go home,” you repeated, sharper this time.
Still nothing. Finally, you glanced up, ready to tell whoever it was to leave in no uncertain terms.
The words caught in your throat when you saw him. Tyler stood in the doorway, his hat tucked in one hand and a brown paper bag in the other. His jaw was tight, his brow furrowed with concern, but his eyes softened when they met yours.
You swallowed hard and dropped your gaze back to your hands, the lump in your throat making it hard to speak. “What are you doing here?”
He hesitated for a moment before stepping into the room. “Your friend called me,” he said simply. “She told me what happened.”
You let out a shaky breath, your hands tightening in your lap.
“I’m fine,” you said, your voice quieter now. “You don’t have to be here. You can leave.”
Tyler didn’t respond immediately. The silence stretched between you, heavy and unrelenting. Finally, you glanced up to see that he hadn’t moved an inch. His expression was unreadable, but there was a steadiness in his gaze that made your chest ache.
“Go home, Tyler,” you said again, this time with more force.
He didn’t budge. Instead, he tilted his head slightly, studying you. “When you can look me in the eye and tell me you’re okay without lying,” he said, his voice steady and calm, “I’ll leave. Until then, I’m staying right here.”
The breath hitched in your throat, and you quickly looked away, blinking back the sudden sting of tears. You couldn’t meet his gaze. Not when he saw right through the mask you’d been wearing all day.
Your eyes landed on the brown bag in his hand. The logo was instantly recognizable, and despite everything, a flicker of confusion crossed your face.
“What’s that?” you asked, your voice quieter now.
Tyler glanced down at the bag as if just remembering it. He crossed the room, closing the distance between you, and held it out.
“Figured you hadn’t eaten today,” he said simply. “It’s well past supper, and you need food. Stopped by your favorite place and got you your usual.”
You blinked at him, the unexpected gesture catching you off guard. For a moment, you just stared at the bag in his hand, unsure whether to take it.
When you didn’t move, Tyler set it down gently on the chair beside you and crouched down so he was at eye level. “You don’t have to say anything,” he murmured, his voice low and soft. “Just eat something, okay?”
The tears you’d been holding back all day finally broke free, and you quickly turned your head, pressing the heel of your hand against your eyes. Tyler didn’t say anything, didn’t try to touch you or pry. He just stayed there, steady and calm, his quiet presence more comforting than you wanted to admit.
You didn’t have the energy to fight him anymore, so you reached for the bag, the smell of your favorite meal filling the room as you opened it. It was still warm, the familiar scent wrapping around you like a blanket.
You managed to eat about half of the food Tyler had brought before your stomach protested. Setting the container back into the bag, you folded it shut with deliberate care, focusing on the crinkle of the paper as a distraction. You still couldn’t bring yourself to look at him, but you muttered a quiet, “Thank you.”
He didn’t respond immediately, but you could feel his gaze on you, steady and unrelenting. The silence stretched again, broken only by the distant murmur of hospital staff and the faint beeping of monitors from somewhere down the hall.
After a few moments, Tyler cleared his throat, the sound startling in the stillness. “Do you have any updates?” he asked, his voice low but careful, as if afraid of pushing too hard. “Have you heard how she’s doing?”
Your throat tightened, and you shook your head without looking up. You couldn’t speak—not without your voice breaking. You clenched your hands in your lap, your nails digging into your palms as you tried to keep the tears at bay.
Tyler’s eyes softened as he watched you, the effort you were putting into holding yourself together painfully clear. He saw the slight tremble in your hands, the way your shoulders hunched as if carrying the weight of the world.
He couldn’t stand it anymore. Without a word, he stood from the chair across the room and moved to the one beside you. You didn’t look at him, but you noticed the shift, and felt the heat of his presence closer now.
You glanced sideways as Tyler settled into the chair, his broad frame filling the space beside you. He didn’t say anything, but he opened his arm, leaving it resting on the back of the chair as he leaned slightly toward you. It wasn’t an overt gesture—just enough to let you know it was there, an unspoken invitation.
You hesitated, your breath hitching as you looked at the open space he was offering. A part of you wanted to retreat, to keep the wall between you firmly in place. But the ache in your chest—the one you’d been fighting all day—finally won out.
Slowly, you leaned over, your weight shifting until your head rested against his chest. His arm closed gently around you, his hand resting lightly on your shoulder. He didn’t pull you in too tightly, giving you the space to move if you wanted, but the warmth and steadiness of him made you feel like the world might stop spinning just for a moment.
The steady beat of his heart was soothing against your ear, a rhythm that felt like home in a way you couldn’t bring yourself to think too much about right now. You closed your eyes, your shoulders sagging as the tension slowly began to leave your body.
Tyler didn’t speak. He didn’t ask any more questions or try to fill the silence. He just sat there, holding you as the tears you’d been holding back slipped quietly down your cheeks. And for the first time that day, you felt like maybe, just maybe, you weren’t completely alone.
The quiet warmth of Tyler’s presence, combined with the emotional toll of the day, eventually caught up to you. Your breathing slowed as you sank deeper against his chest, the exhaustion overtaking your attempts to stay awake. Tyler glanced down at you and realized you’d fallen asleep, your face relaxed for the first time since he’d arrived.
He didn’t move. He stayed as still as he could, not wanting to disturb you. His arm remained firmly around you, holding you steady as your head rose and fell gently with the rhythm of his breathing.
Tyler rested his head back against the wall, his free hand rubbing tiredly at his face. He stared at the sterile ceiling tiles above, his mind racing with a mix of relief and guilt. He was here, and you were letting him be here, but he couldn’t help thinking about all the times before when he hadn’t been.
Nearly two hours passed in silence, broken only by the occasional murmur of passing staff. Tyler shifted slightly, careful not to wake you. Just as he was debating whether to adjust his arm that was starting to go numb, the sound of the waiting room door opening caught his attention.
He turned his head, his gaze landing on the doctor who stepped into the room. The man was middle-aged, with a kind but tired face, his scrubs wrinkled from what must have been a long shift. Tyler straightened slightly, his movements gentle enough that you didn’t stir.
“Are you the family of (your mom’s name)?” The doctor asked, his voice soft but clear.
Tyler hesitated for a second, glancing down at you. “She is,” he said, his voice low so as not to startle you. Then, with a reluctant sigh, he shook your shoulder gently. “Hey, wake up,” he murmured.
You stirred, your brow furrowing as your eyes blinked open. For a moment, you seemed disoriented, but then you sat up quickly, your hand brushing your hair from your face as you glanced between Tyler and the doctor.
“What’s going on?” you asked, your voice still thick with exhaustion.
“The doctor’s here with an update about your mom,” Tyler said gently, giving you a reassuring look.
You swallowed hard and turned your attention to the doctor, your hands twisting nervously in your lap.
“Surgery went well,” the doctor said, his tone calm and steady. “She’s in recovery now. We’ll keep her here for a few days to monitor her, but she’s expected to make a full recovery.
A wave of relief hit you so hard it almost felt like you couldn’t breathe. Your lips parted as though to speak, but no words came out. Tyler’s hand moved to rest lightly on your shoulder, grounding you as the doctor continued.
“She’ll be groggy for a little while when she wakes up, but she’s stable.” The doctor reassured.
“Can I see her now?” you asked quickly, your voice trembling.
The doctor nodded but held up a hand. “Only one person can go in at a time. She needs to stay as calm as possible while she comes out of the anesthesia.”
You hesitated, glancing at Tyler for just a moment. His blue eyes softened, and he gave you a small, encouraging nod. “Go ahead,” he said quietly. “I’ll be right here when you’re done.”
Your heart clenched at the steadiness in his voice. Without another word, you stood, your legs shaky beneath you as you followed the doctor out of the waiting room. Before you passed through the door, you glanced back at Tyler. He was still sitting, watching you with an expression you couldn’t quite decipher—concern, affection, and maybe something deeper.
He gave you a faint smile, his eyes never leaving you as you disappeared into the hallway.
A few hours later, the hum of the hospital had settled into a quiet rhythm as the nurses moved efficiently between rooms. You had been sitting at your mom’s bedside for as long as they allowed, watching the gentle rise and fall of her chest as she slept peacefully. Relief had begun to seep into your bones, replacing the earlier tension, but exhaustion lingered, weighing heavily on you.
Eventually, a nurse came in, her smile kind but firm. “She’s stable now and will need her rest through the night. We’ll call if there are any changes, but it’s best if you go home and get some sleep too.”
You nodded, reluctant but understanding, and stood slowly, brushing your hand against your mom’s. You whispered a quiet goodbye and promised you’d be back first thing in the morning.
As you made your way back to the waiting room, you pulled your phone from your pocket. You’d been dropped off earlier and hadn’t even thought about how you’d get home. You scrolled through your contacts, landing on the name of a neighbor who’d always been quick to lend a hand. Just as you pressed the call button, Tyler’s voice interrupted you.
“I can drive you home,” he said softly, standing up from the chair where he’d been waiting.
You froze, lowering the phone from your ear. “Tyler, it’s late. You don’t have to—”
“I know I don’t have to,” he interrupted, his voice calm but steady. “But I’d like to. If you’d let me.”
You hesitated, biting your lip. The idea of being alone in the car with him made your chest tighten. Not because you didn’t trust him—but because you weren’t sure you could handle the quiet, the possibility of him pressing you about everything that had happened between you.
Almost as if he could read your mind, Tyler raised his hands slightly in a gesture of surrender. “It’s just a ride home,” he assured you. “That’s it. No talking, no pushing. I know this isn’t the time for… everything else. I just don’t think you should be alone right now.”
His words settled over you, soft and sincere. You studied him for a moment, searching for any sign of an ulterior motive, but there was none. Just a quiet steadiness in the way he looked at you, the same steadiness that had kept you grounded all night.
Finally, you nodded, slipping your phone back into your pocket. “Okay,” you murmured. “Thank you.”
Tyler gave a small nod, grabbing his jacket from the chair and slipping it on. He didn’t say anything else, just gestured for you to follow him.
The night air was crisp, the faint hum of insects filling the quiet as you and Tyler stepped into the dimly lit hospital parking lot. He stayed a step ahead, his boots scuffing softly against the pavement as he led the way to his truck. When you reached it, Tyler opened the passenger door, pausing to glance at you.
You climbed into the seat, the familiar scent of his truck—faintly leathery, with a trace of pine—wrapping around you like a memory. He waited until you were settled, buckling your seatbelt, before carefully shutting the door.
You watched him through the windshield as he walked around the front of the truck, his hands shoved into his jacket pockets. He slid into the driver’s seat and started the engine, the rumble filling the silence.
As he eased out of the parking lot, Tyler glanced over at you. “Do you want me to take you to your mom’s house or home?”
The word hung in the air between you for a beat too long. Tyler’s jaw tightened slightly, and he quickly corrected himself, his voice quieter. “I mean… my place. Do you want me to take you to my place instead?”
You turned your head to look out the window, the streetlights casting fleeting shadows across your face as the truck rolled forward. Your mom’s house would feel empty, too quiet for you to face tonight. Every room would carry the weight of her absence, the echoes of your worry. The thought of sitting there, alone with your thoughts, was unbearable.
“Can I… stay with you tonight?” you asked, your voice soft but steady.
Tyler’s hands tightened briefly on the steering wheel, but he didn’t look at you. Instead, he just nodded and turned the truck onto a familiar road, the one that led to his old farmhouse.
“Yeah,” he said simply. “Of course.”
The drive was quiet after that, neither of you saying much. The occasional hum of the truck’s tires against the road filled the silence, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. It felt more like an unspoken agreement to let the quiet speak for itself, to let the exhaustion and the events of the day settle.
As the farmhouse came into view, its porch light glowing faintly in the distance, you felt your shoulders relax ever so slightly. Tyler parked the truck in the gravel drive and killed the engine, the sudden stillness almost startling.
He glanced at you, his voice low. “Come on. Let’s get you inside.”
Tyler unlocked the door and pushed it open, stepping inside and flipping on the lights. The warm glow illuminated the familiar space, but as you stepped through the doorway, you hesitated. The house felt the same, smelled the same—like cedarwood and faint traces of whatever cologne Tyler always wore—but you didn’t.
You paused just inside, unsure if you had the right to walk through it as freely as you used to. Your feet felt rooted to the spot, and your arms wrapped around yourself almost instinctively, like a shield.
Tyler paused near the bottom of the stairs and glanced back at you, his brow furrowing slightly when he noticed your hesitation. He rubbed the back of his neck before offering a small smile.
“Make yourself comfortable,” he said, his voice soft. Then, after a beat, he added, “You know where everything is.”
You nodded faintly, still unsure, but before you could say anything, he gestured to the stairs. “I’m gonna run up and see if I can find you something comfortable to wear for tonight. Be right back.”
Without waiting for a response, Tyler jogged up the stairs, his boots thudding softly against the wooden steps. You stood there for a moment, listening as the sound of his footsteps faded, before finally stepping further into the house.
You found yourself drifting toward the kitchen, your fingers brushing lightly against the edges of the counters as you passed. The farmhouse kitchen had always been one of your favorite spots—it was warm, lived-in, and full of charm. But now, as you glanced around, you noticed how disheveled it was.
Dishes were piled high in the sink, crumbs scattered across the counters. A forgotten coffee mug sat near the edge of the table, and you spotted a pair of work gloves tossed haphazardly onto one of the chairs. It was clear Tyler hadn’t been keeping up with housework.
Your chest tightened slightly. He was probably just as exhausted as you were after the week you’d both had. Without really thinking, you filled the sink with warm water, adding soap until suds began to rise. You rolled up your sleeves and got to work, grabbing the first plate from the pile.
The rhythm of cleaning was soothing, your hands moving on autopilot as you scrubbed and rinsed. One dish turned into two, then three, until the pile began to shrink. You didn’t hear Tyler come back down the stairs until his voice broke through the quiet.
“You don’t have to do that, you know.”
Startled, you glanced over your shoulder. He was leaning against the doorframe, holding a neatly folded T-shirt and a pair of sweatpants in his hands. His expression was unreadable, but there was a softness in his eyes that hadn’t been there earlier.
“I know,” you said softly, turning back to the sink. “I just… wanted to help.”
For a moment, neither of you said anything. Tyler set the clothes down on the table and walked over, his boots clicking lightly against the tile. He reached past you and grabbed a clean dish towel, drying one of the plates you’d just washed.
The two of you worked in quiet tandem, the only sounds coming from the water and the soft clink of dishes. When the last plate was dried and put away, Tyler finally spoke again.
“You didn’t have to do that,” he repeated, his voice lower this time.
You dried your hands on the towel and glanced at him. “I know,” you said again, meeting his gaze. “But I wanted to.”
Tyler held your gaze for a long moment before nodding. He motioned toward the clothes he’d brought down. “Those should be comfortable.
You nodded, taking the clothes from the table and brushing past him, your fingers grazing his for just a moment.
Tyler held your gaze for a long moment before nodding, but instead of leaving it at that, he started to speak, his words coming out in a ramble—something you knew he only did when he was nervous.
“I, uh, was looking to see if maybe you’d left something here. You know, clothes or—just… something. But it looks like you cleared everything out when you left—”
He cut himself off abruptly, the weight of the words hanging in the air like a stone dropped into still water. You saw the flicker of regret cross his face as if he wished he could take them back.
Your chest tightened the reality of the distance between the two of you crashing back in. You forced a nod, your throat too tight to speak, and clutched the clothes tighter to your chest.
Without another word, you turned and headed toward the bathroom down the hall, your steps quick and purposeful, driven by the sudden need to put space between you and him.
You changed into the clothes Tyler had given you, silently hating how comfortable they felt. The fabric was soft and worn in all the right ways, and the faint scent of him lingering on them—woodsy, clean, and unmistakably Tyler—settled you in a way you didn’t want to admit. It felt too easy, too familiar, and you tried to shake the thought as you ran a hand over your face and took a steadying breath.
When you stepped out of the bathroom, the farmhouse was quiet, save for the faint creak of the old wood floors beneath your feet. You padded into the living room and spotted a throw pillow and blanket folded neatly on the back of the couch. Without giving it much thought, you reached for them and began to lay them out, preparing to make a bed for the night.
The sound of footsteps behind you made you pause, and you turned to find Tyler standing in the doorway, his arms crossed as he leaned against the frame. His brows furrowed slightly as he tilted his head. “What are you doing?”
You glanced at the blanket in your hands and then back at him. “I’m making a place to sleep,” you said simply, motioning toward the couch.
He shook his head almost immediately, his expression firm. “No, you’re not.”
Your brow knit in confusion. “What do you mean, no? I’m not kicking you out of your own bed, Tyler.”
Tyler’s jaw tightened briefly, but his voice was calm and steady when he spoke. “And I’m not letting you sleep on the couch.”
“Tyler—”
He cut you off, his tone a little more resolute this time, though still gentle. “You’re sleeping upstairs. In the bed. End of discussion.”
You frowned at him, not sure whether to feel annoyed at his stubbornness or oddly comforted by it. “And where exactly are you planning to sleep, then?”
“The couch,” he said plainly, as if it were the most obvious solution in the world.
“Tyler, that’s ridiculous—”
“It’s not,” he interrupted again, his voice softening just slightly. “You’ve had a hell of a day, and you’re not about to spend the night crammed on this couch. You need to rest, and you’re sleeping in the bed.”
You opened your mouth to argue again, but the way he was looking at you—his gaze steady and full of quiet insistence—made the words catch in your throat. For a moment, neither of you spoke, the silence stretching between you. Finally, you exhaled, realizing there was no point in fighting him on this.
“Fine,” you muttered, reluctantly grabbing the pillow and blanket and handing them to him. “But if you wake up sore in the morning, that’s on you.”
Tyler chuckled softly, taking them from your hands. “I’ll take my chances.”
As you turned to head upstairs, you could feel his gaze on you, but you didn’t look back. It wasn’t until you were settled beneath the covers, the familiar scent of the farmhouse wrapping around you, that you realized how much you’d missed the quiet comfort of this place—and, if you were being honest, him.
Downstairs, you heard the faint sound of the couch creaking as Tyler settled in, followed by the soft exhale of his breath. And for the first time in days, you felt the edges of exhaustion pulling you into sleep, knowing you weren’t alone.
The soft sounds from downstairs pulled you from your sleep, and for a moment, you lay there disoriented, the unfamiliar surroundings grounding you in a way that was both comforting and unsettling. The room was too quiet, too still, and it wasn’t until you spotted the framed photos on the wall—the ones you’d seen countless times before—that you remembered where you were. Tyler’s house. His bed.
You sat up, rubbing the sleep from your eyes, and the faint smell of coffee and something cooking reached you, accompanied by the faint clang of a pan. Pushing the covers off, you swung your legs over the edge of the bed and stood, padding toward the stairs.
The kitchen came into view as you reached the bottom step, and you stopped in the doorway, momentarily caught off guard. Tyler was standing at the stove, barefoot, wearing jeans and a white t-shirt that clung to his back just enough to remind you how unfairly attractive he was. He looked so casual, so domestic, like he belonged here in this space that had always felt like home to you too. And that realization was almost too much to take, given the current mess of emotions between the two of you.
He must have heard your footsteps because he turned, a faint smile tugging at his lips when he saw you. “Morning,” he said, his voice warm and easy, like this was just another day in the life you used to share. “How’d you sleep?”
You hesitated for half a second before answering. “Fine,” you said, your voice softer than you intended. “Thanks for…everything last night.”
He just nodded, as though it were a given. “Feel free to make yourself some coffee,” he said, motioning toward the Keurig sitting on the counter.
You blinked, your gaze landing on the sleek machine that had replaced the old, battered coffee pot he’d had for years. The sight of it caught you off guard, like it was proof that time had moved on in this house even when you hadn’t been here to see it.
“I didn’t remember how you like your coffee these days,” Tyler admitted, running a hand through his hair. “With all the stuff you used to add to it, I figured I’d mess it up. But there’s still some pods and syrups in the cupboard. And I, uh—” He cleared his throat and motioned toward the fridge. “I went to the store and picked up some creamer. It’s the kind you used to like. Figured it couldn’t hurt to have it, just in case.”
Your chest tightened at his words, at the small gesture that felt far too thoughtful for what you thought you deserved right now. You opened the fridge to find the familiar bottle sitting there, and for a moment, all you could do was stare at it, trying to process the sudden wave of emotions.
“Eggs’ll be ready in a few minutes,” Tyler said, his voice pulling you back. He glanced over his shoulder at you as he stirred something in the pan. “Hope you’re hungry.”
You shut the fridge door and turned, your gaze settling on him again. He looked so at ease, so natural standing there, that it made your heart ache in a way you hadn’t expected. You wrapped your arms around yourself, trying to keep your voice steady as you replied, “Yeah. I think I could eat.”
He nodded, turning his attention back to the stove, and you lingered in the doorway for a moment longer before making your way to the counter to fix your coffee. You couldn’t help but feel like you’d stepped back into a memory, even though you knew things weren’t the same anymore.
Not even close.
You sat across from Tyler at the small wooden table, the one that had been in this kitchen for as long as you could remember. The plates between you held scrambled eggs and toast, simple but enough to ease the ache of an empty stomach. The air between you was thick with an awkwardness that neither of you seemed willing to address, and the only sounds filling the room were the soft scrape of forks against plates and the occasional clink of a glass being set back on the table.
You stared down at your plate, taking another small bite, trying to focus on the food and not the tension that was quietly suffocating the space. Finally, you couldn’t take it anymore. Setting your fork down, you cleared your throat softly, your voice tentative as you broke the silence.
“Thank you,” you said, your gaze lifting to meet his, though he didn’t look up right away. “For everything. For… being there for me.”
Tyler’s fork hovered over his plate for a moment before he set it down. He looked down at his plate, his shoulders stiffening slightly. “It was about time,” he murmured, his voice quiet but weighted. “About time I was there when you needed me to be.”
The words hit you harder than you expected, cutting through the delicate balance you’d been trying to maintain. You blinked, your throat tightening as you realized what he meant. He wasn’t just talking about yesterday or last night. He was thinking about all the times he hadn’t been there—your last birthday, the other moments and milestones you’d quietly endured alone. The guilt in his tone was unmistakable, and it settled heavily in your chest.
“Tyler…” you started, your voice soft, but he quickly shook his head, stopping you before you could go any further.
“You don’t have to say anything,” he said firmly, finally glancing up at you. His eyes were steady, but there was a flicker of something raw in them that made your breath hitch. “It is what it is.”
The words hung in the air for a moment, cutting off any argument you might have made. You opened your mouth, then closed it again, unsure of what you could even say to that.
Tyler leaned back in his chair, his expression softening slightly as he tried to steer the conversation away from the growing tension. “Once you’re done eating,” he said, his voice lighter now, though it still carried a trace of that earlier guilt, “I can take you over to your mom’s to get your car.”
You nodded, grateful for the change in subject, even if it felt like a half-hearted attempt to escape the unspoken weight between you. “Yeah, okay,” you murmured, reaching for your glass and taking a sip of water.
The silence returned, but this time it felt less oppressive. You both focused on finishing your meals, the unspoken understanding settling between you like a fragile truce. It wasn’t perfect, but it was enough for now.

Backseat
Pairing: (modern, bad-boy) Ryomen Sukuna x reader
Warnings: mdni, step-brother Sukuna, tipsy reader, oral, penetration, no protection, fem reader.
wc: 3.7k
Am I using the 'I'm stuck step-bro' trope? Yes...absolutely...
a/n: my ask box is open if you have any jjk requests! <3
Ryomen sighs and puffs on his cigarette while waiting for you to emerge from the club.
Standing on that street, leaning against the black car he'd rather trade for his motorcycle (but your mom insisted he pick you up in it instead, to his dismay) is the last place he wants to be.
He's not exactly 'big brother' material, nor did he feel like one anyway. His dad and your mom somehow met after two messy divorces, decided they were the ones for each other, packed their lives up, and forced the two of you to become siblings—step-siblings.
That differentiation is critically important to him, especially during times like these while watching you waltz out of the club wearing a dress that's sickeningly short, visibly buzzed while you say goodnight to your girlfriends.
Jesus Christ...could you have picked anything shorter?
He shakes his head and pulls in a long drag of his cigarette before dropping it in the gutter and wedging it into the concrete with his boot. The vapor seeps from his lips while his eyes subtly run down and then back up the length of you.
Fuck.
Riding on the high of having a good night out with friends, you grin while approaching the car.
"Surprised you actually showed up to get me..."
He can already feel the restraint slipping in the back of his mind at the sound of your voice...at the vague tease in your words. Usually you're more reserved around him, but thanks to whatever you drank, you seem a lot more open. A lot braver.
Ryomen scoffs as he watches you pull the car door open, giggling while you slide into the passenger seat. "What, you thought I wouldn't come get you?"
"Shouldn't I be surprised? Normally you'd tell me to fuck off or something."
Despite himself, a faint smirk pulls on his lips, well aware of the truth in your words. He closes his door, puts his seatbelt on, and starts the car. "Yeah, well...I'm not a complete jackass. Besides, your mom made me."
Amused by his reluctance, you hum as he pulls away from the curb and begins through the small town. With your eyes out the window, you don't notice each time he glances at you from his peripheral, taking in how stupidly perfect that dress looks on you.
In this moment, he's more than glad your parents didn't meet any sooner. While gaining a step-sister wasn't on his list of ideal outcomes, at least you were both adults when it happened, meaning that sibling connection never snapped into place for you two.
Instead, it feels more like being roommates while he dicks around living at home while working at a garage, hitting the gym, and tuning up his Harley whenever he has the chance. You, on the other hand, are busy finishing up at a local college.
You see each other in passing, forced to be cordial during family events despite how you both get under the other's skin as easily as breathing.
It's agonizing, especially since he's forced to be so near you at times...pretending like he hasn't wanted you since the day you met.
"No? That's reassuring at least," you return, breaking his concentration.
He snickers, not wanting to admit he actually finds you somewhat amusing at times. "I have my moments."
"At least you've learned some humility over the years."
Ryomen cocks a brow as he glances between you and the road while he turns onto a familiar street. "You're sharp sometimes, you know that?"
You grin, leaning against the backrest while the streetlights move overhead. "Yeah, I know."
"Just don't cut me, yeah?"
Emboldened by the drinks in your system, you sneak a look at him in return. "Why do I have the feeling you'd like that?"
Both brows go up at that, and he can't deny how that sparks his interest. "Easy now...don't go getting all lewd on me."
"Lewd? I'd never..." you return, grin saying otherwise.
Ryomen's surprised by this, but he'll be the first to admit your teasing sarcasm is arousing. He scoffs and shakes his head to try and stay focused on the road, mumbling under his breath, "Always the smartass..."
"You like it, though."
A part of him hates how right you are, but he masks it with a snort. "Oh shut up."
Chuckling, you glance over into the backseat, searching for something to help soothe your dry throat. "Got any water in here?"
Keeping his eyes on the changing light in front of him, he hums. "You tell me. Why?"
"I'm thirsty."
He sighs. "Can't you wait? We're almost home."
"No," you mumble, noticing the faint glimmer of water reflecting the streetlights as it rolls from under the backseat. Your face brightens as you reach for it. "Bingo..."
Ryomen rolls his eyes, watching for half a second as you bend around the seat and reach for the bottle. His pulse quickens at the sight before correcting himself. "You're not gonna reach it."
"Yes I will," you say stubbornly, voice muffled from behind his seat. Annoyed by the seatbelt restricting your movements, you unbuckle it and shuffle forward a bit until you're folded over the center console.
Ryomen's brows furrow when he hears your straining sounds, glancing back to see your ass lifted in the air, seemingly unaware of your bare thighs from your dress riding up. His eyes widen slightly, and he clears his throat. "Cut it out, brat...just wait a minute."
"No," you bark back, straining still as your fingers barely brush against the bottle. "Damn it."
The more you stretch, the higher your hem moves up, baring more of your smooth thighs and allowing the light-blue lace of your panties to peek out beneath. The sight alone makes his breath catch.
"Oh Jesus fucking Christ..." he mutters under his breath, feeling his cock stir within the confines of his jeans. It takes everything in his power to not reach over like he wants to.
Oblivious while the blood rushes to your head, you murmur, "What—"
Then, your breath catches the moment Ryomen hits the breaks, and the force sends you further between the seats until your hips are wedged in the middle. From this position, stuck between the seats, your ass is completely in the air, straddling the center console. You hear as he puts the car in park.
"...Ryomen?" You ask, voice still muffled, unable to wriggle free on your own. "Why'd you stop?"
"We're...home..." he manages to get out, eyes locked on your almost bare ass sticking out right next to his head, given a complete show of your panties and the soft curves that have him stumbling internally.
"Oh..." you murmur, trying to move to no avail. "Can you help me then?"
"Yeah..." Ryomen says with a faint rasp, unable to look away while he sits there in the parked car, nestled in the mostly dark garage. "I can...help."
With a sigh, you wait in place, feeling as he brushes a hand against the back of your thigh, slowly moving up. His fingers grip the one while the other seems to wander slightly.
After a moment, aware of the very languid pace he moves at, your brows furrow slightly. "Ry?"
He clears his throat, croaking as his fingers brush against your inner thigh. "Y-yeah...just a minute."
Unsure of what he could possibly be doing, you shiver at the light touch of his hand moving higher before squeezing the soft flesh of your ass. A spark of sensation rushes through you at once, unable to ignore how intense that simple action feels.
"Ry—"
"Just try to relax...I'll get you out in a sec..." he mumbles, mostly to himself.
He's so fucked.
Being mere breaths away from your arched ass, feeling your soft skin under his palms, and knowing there couldn't possibly be a more perfect moment is enough for Ryomen to harden in his jeans.
Unable to resist, he leans in, pulse thudding beneath his skin from the temptation. Almost like he's caught in a trance, Ryomen brushes his lips against the junction between your upper thigh and beneath the roundness of your ass.
Your breath hitches as you register the faint touch, becoming more aware of it as he presses more light affections against your skin. At the same time, his opposite hand cradles your ass, giving it a faint squeeze.
Cheeks burning, you try to look back at him, but can't see from the seat. "Ryomen..."
"Shh..." he utters, getting lost in the wet kisses he leaves while moving closer to your core. "Just...shut up for a minute."
You bristle at this, but the feeling of him drifting closer to your core is enough to make you shiver, along with his tongue tasting your skin. Despite yourself, something in you doesn't want to move.
"Jesus..." he murmurs, reaching your panties and seeing how they squish against your curves. He brings a finger forward, teasing at the fabric before running it up and down the length of you.
Ryomen hums as you shudder, pressing a bit more until he can feel your slick beginning to soak the fabric. A darker, hungrier look glazes his eyes.
"Look at you, doll...already dripping, hm?"
Cheeks flaming by now, unable to fully comprehend that this is actually happening, you pant quietly from your position.
Wordlessly, he nudges the material to the side, able to see your arousal glistening against your skin, wetting your folds.
"You've gotta be kidding me..." he rasps, feeling more of his restraint crumbling.
He shouldn't be doing this. He should help you out of the car and make sure you get inside all right...not looking at you like a meal, running his fingertips through your heat. Not feeling tempted to just cut that space...
He knows all of this, but the moment he hears your breathless sound in response, Ryomen can't help himself.
Leaning forward, he sticks his tongue out and drags it through your pussy from behind, lapping at your slick. His eyes shut immediately at the feeling and taste, humming somewhere deep in his throat.
Your thighs clench immediately as a shudder moves through you, unable to swallow back the surprised gasp that escapes without resistance.
"Ryomen!"
"I know...god, I know..." He mumbles, licking his lips while he looks you over hungrily, gripping your ass to spread it while he dives back in, licking at your heat more thoroughly. "Fucking hell..."
Your eyes roll back at the sensations that tear through you, gripping the back seat while he ravishes you, eagerly devouring every inch of you. His hums and groans only make you shake more, gasping and panting.
Ryomen growls into your pussy while his tongue maps out every inch of it, seeming like a starved man. He buries it as far as he can, bringing his thumb up to blindly fumble with your clit.
The sharp breath that comes from you, paired with the trembling of your thighs, is enough to make him so hard he can't think about anything else. He can't even consider the consequences of what he's doing...or what could happen if one of your parents were to find out.
Instead, he laps at you greedily, spreading your addictive slick around his lips and cheeks.
God, he's never tasted anything so sweet—so painfully sinful and arousing.
He shouldn't be dirtying you like this, but consequences be damned. He wants this...needs this.
He needs to make you cum and he needs to know it was him who accomplished it.
"Fuck..." Ryomen whispers against your soaked core, dragging his fingers through your pretty little folds, feeling just how worked up you are for him. "I didn't think you felt this way about me, little sis."
Stuttering over the onslaught of pleasure he feeds you, along with his words, you gasp, thighs clenching around his hand. "D-don't say that..."
He can't help but grin as he kisses your ass, letting his tongue drag across your skin for a moment. At the same time, he slowly eases two fingers into you, setting a slow, languid pace within those constrictive, plushy walls. He swears this'll be the death of him.
"What, you don't want me to call you 'sis'?"
The taunting words only cause you to shiver more, whimpering at the torturous pumping of his fingers while you clench around them, skin on fire.
"S-stop...we're not siblings," you mumble, trying to convince both of you at once. "Siblings don't—hnngh...they don't do this."
Ryomen chuckles and gently sinks his teeth into the fat of your ass, groaning at the feeling before leaving another kiss there. "I guess you're right. I'd rather take you as my girl...my pretty, needy girl."
Something about it has more shivers running through you while gripping the back seat, hips moving involuntarily. "Please, Ry..."
"Please what, doll?" He returns with a knowing lilt as he just barely brushes against your clit.
More whines escape your plump lips while you catch yourself grinding against the console, backing up against his fingers for more. He's right...you're needier than all hell.
"Don't tease me."
"No?" He questions, cocking a brow while he curls his fingers.
A gasp escapes you before it melts into a needy groan. "P-please... I wan' it..."
A shiver rips through him at your breathless words, and he's well aware no part of him will be able to resist.
He's feeling just as eager as you are, if not worse.
Growling to himself, Ryomen kisses your skin again before carefully withdrawing his fingers, making you clench around nothing with a soft whimper.
That sound alone makes his cock twitch while he works his belt undone, followed by his button and zipper. His voice comes out as a harsh mutter roughened with need. "You sure about this? Once you say yes, there's no going back...there's no coming back from this."
You're well aware that he's completely right, but in this moment, with you spread out for him and feeling worked up thanks to his touch, there's no way in hell you're not following through with this.
"I'm sure...please. Please, Ry..."
There's something so innocent yet lewd about the way that nickname falls from your lips, making him shuffle his jeans down even faster.
"You can't say anything about this...neither of us can," he mumbles, pushing his briefs down until his raging cock is in his hands and his eyes flutter shut from the vague friction of his fingers wrapped around himself. "This stays between us, baby. Promise?"
Biting your lip and moving back impatiently, you shudder the moment his cockhead brushes against your soaked heat. "Y-yes...I promise. Just...give it to me."
Ryomen groans at your insistence and the delicious sound of his pearling tip gliding through your slick. He huffs out a breath and teasingly begins to part your pussy as he slowly pushes forward.
The rush of sensations that come with easing inside your cunt are enough to make his hips stutter and his breath catch. That paired with your gasp has him squeezing his eyes shut.
He can't even be bothered to push you through to the backseat to fuck you properly...he can't wait. He has to have you here, right now...wedged between the seats and perfectly open for him.
"Fucking hell..." Ryomen spills, finally feeling every inch of himself wrapped up by your hot walls while they squeeze him almost affectionately. At least, that's how he wants to see it.
His hands situate on your hips while he stills, pressed firmly against your ass. He grunts, soaking in the blinding sensations until he feels seconds away from imploding.
He's had his fair share of lays, but goddamn...there's something different about being nestled inside you...the one pussy he shouldn't be in. But that only makes it all the more addicting.
When he finally pulls back and rolls his hips forward again, hearing the muffled jingle of his belt with the movement, a deep shiver travels down his spine, and he bites back the moans bubbling up inside him.
"Fuuuck..." he mumbles, voice rough with absolute desperation. He grips your ass and hip tighter as he gradually picks up the pace, listening to the way your moans pitch higher.
Ryomen watches through heavily-lidded eyes all the while your back arches even deeper and your fingers pinch into the fabric seats. He watches how your pussy swallows him up eagerly with every slow thrust, ringing him with your arousal.
It has an endless drip of lust flooding his system, and while he's only just getting started, he feels so pussy drunk he can hardly think.
Instead, he's reduced to a primal version of himself—an addict getting a tiny bump with every flick of his hips...with every time your cunt clenches around him.
"Please..." you whimper, jaw slack. "F-faster..."
Whether its a plea or a demand, he doesn't care. Working on instinct, Ryomen grips your hip hard, reaches up for your hair with the other hand, winds it around his fist, and pulls.
The soft gasp that dribbles from your lips as your back is forced to arch deeper, half suspended in the air pulls a growl from Ryomen's lips.
"This what you want?" He utters, jaw clenching as he fucks you harder, ramming his hips against your ass. The previous care and gentleness once in his touch seeps away as his need gets the better of him.
A string of incoherent babbling leaves your mouth as you moan louder, skin getting hotter by the second.
Ryomen smirks at this, amused and aroused by how he already has you fucked completely stupid. God, you're so perfect. So needy, so slutty, so...completely his.
He hums, keeping up that mean pace while he bullies his way in and out of your pussy. "That's right...you've been begging for your step brother to fuck you, hm? I bet you think about it all the time."
A whimper, eclipsed by several sharper moans is all you can manage while the brutal ramming against your cervix has you seeing stars.
Almost like your useless panting and trembling is fueling him, Ryomen grins and huffs, thrusting with everything he has. "I bet you've been dreaming about this moment...fingers playing with this pretty pussy before bed, thinking about me and what I'd do to you. Close enough?"
You groan, eyes rolling back while he releases your hair and drops his hand to toy with your clit. The strangled sounds escape you all the while you clutch the back seat again, taking every hard thrust. "Y-yes..."
Satisfied by your breathless answer, Ryomen sinks even deeper, leaning over you while he flicks your clit still. "So honest, hm? You're being so good for me, letting me fuck you dumb. You wanna cum, don't you?"
Throat beginning to ache from how often the moans are torn from it, you weakly nod, feeling as your whole body tenses. "P-please...please, Ry..."
He loves the way those desperate pleas leave your mouth, and while he'd love to push you further to make you beg, he knows he can't hold out.
Everything about this forbidden moment and the way you clamp around him so tightly has him bordering the edge, barely holding back the need to let go.
"Do it then, pretty girl...cum for me," he utters, snapping his hips harder into you, feeling the heat getting the better of him. Every muscle in his body strains from the force of his movements, but he doesn't care. He can only think about pushing you both over the edge. "Fucking cum for me...show me how much you love t-this..."
Like the break of a dam, you come completely undone, crying out his name in a sharp bid of absolute pleasure, clenching around him and milking his cock so completely, you're both seeing white.
The wrecked sounds that escape you, along with the fluttering of your cunt around him sends Ryomen over the edge, and he locks up completely against your ass, bursting with wave after wave of his seed.
Thick ropes get buried deep inside you as he grips your hips hard and lets that blinding euphoria hold him so tightly, he forgets to breathe until he's sucking in air again.
He shouldn't have spilled inside you like that...he knows this, but something about that knowledge makes him shiver with every harsh rise and fall of his chest.
Filling you too full, Ryomen can feel as the excess spills out of you, dripping onto the center console. Its a mess and he knows the car reeks of sex, but in the moment, he doesn't care.
He can only slump over you while catching your breath, pressing the occasional kiss against the back of your neck, feeling your rapid heartbeats against his chest.
"Fuck sakes..." Ryomen whispers, pressing his cheek against your clothed back. He slowly regains his bearings, but is far too blissed to move. "What have you done to me..."
He really did fuck you brainless and boneless while you remain slumped there, oblivious to the reality of what just happened for the time being. Your skin feels slick and sticky from your combined release, your body is still hot, and the blood has rushed to your head through it all.
While your hips aren't wedged anymore, you're still pinned, and after a moment, your ragged voice breaks Ryomen from his sated stupor.
"Ry? Think I can move now?"
At the realization, he pulls up, chest and abs glistening from the exertion as he pulls at his shirt for a breeze. While he loves the sight of you perfectly wrecked beneath him, he relents, then a dark grin pulls on his lips.
"On second thought...get in the back."
Your eyes widen slightly at his words. "Huh?"
"You heard me..." Ryomen murmurs, gliding his hand over the swell of your ass while his mind starts spinning with the ideas running rampant.
"I'm not done with you yet, sis..."

The odd comfort you felt when his thick arms locked themselves around you as you ran to him. Tears staining your warm cheeks as you cried. A low groan escaped him as you captured his eyes with your own. “Did you break up with your boyfriend?” you nodded lying your cheek on his chest. His large palm coming up to caress the middle of your back coaxing you close letting you cry. “I normally don’t care about this shit but I care for you little one, now tell me who hurt you so badly?” Thumb coming to rest on your cheek as you peeked up to look at him. “He said I’m not good enough.” Another low groan left his chest. “Bullshit. You’re more than enough princess.” - Mr Howlett has been around you everytime you got hurt. He was that kind of a man who would tape your heart together whenever it got broken by some guy who really wasn’t worth all your tears. “You think so?” A soft nod was only his answer.
“Now you could’ve called a taxi, M’busy ya know?” He leaned against the side of his Chrysler still letting you hug him and cling to him. Your dad has been a good friend with him and frankly Logan was well known to your family and you known him pretty well. “I’m sorry” you straightened yourself and sighed rubbing your chest where your heart hurt. “Your hugs are my medicine” the older man softly smirked. “Are they now? Get in. I’ll drive ya home” opening the passenger door on his limo you got in. The age gap was atrocious but hell you didn’t care he was better to spend time with and to talk to then any of your friends. He never judged, mostly remained quiet whenever you would just spill endless word sentences listening to you. Giving you hugs, making you feel like a human being. You were something extraordinary to him, a young woman. And he was only an old man who got grumpy whenever kids your age just annoyed the fuck out of him but never you. He could listen to you for days and gaze at your beauty. You were so beautiful and it was strange… why would you find comfort in such an old man who drunk way too much. Seeing the empty bottles in his limo as he drove through busy city street. Sniffling wiping your nose you found yourself touching his wrist. His hand was so big compared to yours “What’s wrong now?” Groaning low and soft the old man took a turn onto the highway. He drove with one hand keeping his other hand tangled with yours- “Your hand is so big..” whispering before seeing him half smile but remaining silent.
“Stop here” you breathed, squeezing his hand. Parking on the side of the empty route near El Paso - his lights shut off too. Undoing your seatbelt climbing to his lap straddling him- “hey hey.. not good kid” touching your thighs with his calloused palms you buried your face against his neck taking in his scent. Closing your eyes inhaling sliding your arms around his torso “don’t do this princess” soothing over your back his fingers touching some of your hair and the back of your neck. You ignored the way he spoke, he was a little breathless. “You can have men your age, I’m just an old fucking man. Get off me” he tried to but instead of getting off him you planted soft kisses on his neck. The side of it taking a whiff of his peppery cologne which danced in your nostrils. “Don’t fight it I want you so much” you finally confessed. “I can’t-” he held you in his arms wrapping them around you. The moment you began to pull out his button up out of his pants he grabbed your wrists “don’t- you don’t want this princess” nodding biting your lip “yeah- I do. I want you. My heart is only healed when I’m with you” closing his eyes as you undid his belt and pulled down the zipper on his pants. “Tired of getting my heart broken. You’re a real man” you licked your lower lip revealing his semi hard length.
Lifting your hips settling your panties aside looking at him hovering your needy core over his length slowly guiding it in you. He groaned touching your hips in his hands. Your face fell against his chest as you slid all the way down to the base of him. “Fuck..” cussing through his teeth your arms hung themselves around his neck. “Boys my age are not men” you cried softly. “Fuck” touching your shoulder as the other hand remained on your hip the older man started to guide you back and forth on his cock which seemed to grow hard and warmer in your wet pussy. “Shit..” tipping your head back Logan growled “You want to be my little girlfriend? My little woman huh? Fucking an old man so willingly” suddenly he was filthy worded. “Yes!” You sped up your hips arching your back bouncing up and down holding his shoulders never letting go. Logan guided you holding your ass cheek firmly slightly rising his hips meeting your sensual riding. Your thighs burned as you started to fuck him faster. Your pussy asking and drooling for more of his cock since the stretch was almost painful but so delicious. Every vein of his length pleases your ridged walls hugging him tight. Both moaning in unison- looking into each other’s eyes. It was the most intimate, the most filthiest yet the warmness in your heart travelled down into your core as you clenched around him. “M’cumming…!” The band in your belly snapped and you soaked his cock, Logan grunted violently snapping his hips up into you before stilling moaning under his breath releasing the warmness in you spurting very drop of his cum in your womb. “Shit.. oh fuck..” he breathed his heart nearly jumping out of his chest as he leaned his forehead against yours. You mewled going limp after your orgasm, moaning at the slightest touch. Remaining on his cock, you both rested kissing softly. “Mine..” he breathed soothing your hair with his fingers. “Yours”

( 양정원 ) ⸻ 𝒶𝓁𝓁 𝒾 𝓌𝒶𝓃𝓉 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝒸𝒽𝓇𝒾𝓈𝓉𝓂𝒶𝓈 𝒾𝓈 𝓎𝑜𝓊 ! ⟡
IN WHICH ⸻ jungwon gives you a little christmas surprise
( pairing ) ❜ jungwon x f!r 1092wc + fluff, christmas, angst if you squint contains ! kissing, skinship, swearing / archive
"are you really not going to be here for the christmas?" you ask as you talk to jungwon on the phone. you're sitting by the armchair near the window, staring at the snow pile up outside as the fireplace cracks near you. "sorry princess," jungwon said on the other end of the line. "maybe next year."
you can't help but let out a sigh, looking longingly at the winter wonderland outside. "i was so excited to have you over so we can build a snowman and have some time together. it snowed here, you know." jungwon left town last year for university leaving you behind, and despite what you've been telling yourself, you miss him. a lot.
you had been counting down to christmas all year, the days marked not with numbers but with quiet, vivid imaginings. you’d pictured you and jungwon sitting together wrapped in a soft blanket in the living room, surrounded by fairy lights whilst sipping on hot chocolate. a day spent outside building a snowman, recording the chaotic process with your ancient camcorder. jungwon is all you want for christmas, but it’s already christmas eve now, and jungwon isn’t here.
"gosh, i miss you so much wonnie," you say, pouting. "can't believe i'm left behind in this stupid boring town whilst you're in the city. there's nothing to do here- more sheeps than humans, i swear."
jungwon's laugh makes you smile despite your sadness.
"i miss you so much as well. i've got to go now, y/n. i promise i'll see you soon, okay?"
you roll your eyes, leaning back in your chair frustrated. "yeah, when is soon, jungwon? when is soon-"
jungwon ends the call, the line disconnecting with a little beep. you stare down at your dark screen in disbelief before letting out a huff.
asshole.
you wonder for a split second whether he's not coming back because he's not interested anymore. perhaps he found a prettier, smarter, nicer girl in university whom he's going to spend time with for christmas.
no, jungwon won't do that. he loves you.
right?
but if he did, would he really not come back for christmas without a proper explanation as to why?
and the way he ended the call with you so abruptly- maybe another girl was with him, holding his hand as he called you.
you throw your phone down on the sofa next to you, shaking your head.
"no, jungwon won't do that. he loves me." you say to yourself, saying it out loud as if it'll help convince you.
but can you really blame jungwon if he's found someone else? you aren't that pretty, and you don't even go to university with him.
amid your worries, there’s a knock on the door.
it’s soft, almost hesitant, but it breaks through the stillness like the first note of a song. your brows furrow.
you get up from the armchair, wondering who it is. it's definitely not the delivery man- you haven't ordered anything recently. a friend, maybe? no, they're all away, some of them to the city, some to the beach and some to warmer countries to flee from the biting cold of december.
so who is it?
"coming!" you call out, walking over to the door. you take in a deep breath, bracing yourself for the gust of icy cold air that's sure to blow in if you open the door.
you turn the door knob, immediately met with the cold wind and blizzard. and then you see him.
jungwon.
his cheeks are flushed pink from the cold, his dark hair peeking out of his knit beanie. he stands there, bundled in a thick coat, a dust of snow covering him and a small, gold wrapped box in his hands. he looks impossibly perfect against the pale winter backdrop, his smile soft, a little shy, but warm enough to melt away all your doubts and worries and frost in an instant.
“umm, merry christmas,” he says, his voice gentle and soft.
you stare for a moment or two, your breath caught somewhere between disbelief and relief, before stepping forward and throwing your arms around him. jungwon’s laugh is muffled against your shoulder as he lifts up from the ground to swing you to and fro like a little kid before putting you back down.
“you’re here,” you whispered. “i thought you couldn’t come.”
he pulled back from the embrace justice enough to look at you properly, and he sweeps away your hair from your face. “of course i’m here,” he murmurs. “i’ve been busy with university, couldn’t even talk to you on the phone that much, but i had to come.”
you feel your cheeks grow warm. “i thought you found someone else.”
“what?”
it sounds silly now, but you continue. “i thought you found a smarter, prettier girl at uni. thought you weren’t coming for christmas because you’re spending it with her.”
jungwon just laughs now. “you think i would replace you? princess, you overthink too much. i would never go off with another girl when you’re so perfect.”
he leans down to give you a sweet little kiss on the lips, and you smile.
“alright, let’s go in now before all this blizzard and cold gets in. let’s make a snowman together, and we can watch old disney together…”
