Who was that Roy-Jamie fight over Keeley for? Who did the writers think wanted that scene?

After 33 episodes of largely avoiding that tired love triangle/jealous fighting trope, we’re doing it in 34? The final episode?

Jamie was sensitive enough about the video leak to comfort Keeley and then he uses it as some sort of evidence on the “she belongs with me” side? Roy smugly brings up their one-night stand? There can be backsliding on the road to becoming better people, but that whole scene felt more like free falling.

It also really detracted from the lovely and sincere conversation between Jamie and Roy that immediately preceded it.

Thanks, but no thanks. Gonna join the masses is pretending the bar conversation ended with the clinking of bottles.

i watched one episode of death note and this show is soooo funny for opening on skull demon guys and youre like oh shit its the evil freaks and then theyre just like chilling playing cards. and then you meet your mild mannered middle schooler boy protag and hes like i want to kill everyone forever

No, this was not an ISAT reference!

Just because I use parentheses and 2nd person pov and love the same concepts of what a time loop can do to a person doesn't mean it's ISAT

(Yes, I like ISAT, the original poll is why I was recommended the game! But if you look at the original, you can see all the origins of the options to choose from, including what spurred me on with the moss option from the replies)

The end of season 2!!!#(Granted: this season was nearly twice the length of season one.)#It's been a really fantastic season to draw for. So many iconic moments! It was a lot of work but I had a blast B*)#I also enjoyed experimenting more and more with my comic style. I'm growing as a comic artist bit by bit!#There is even a little bit of shadowing in this one for next season. As a treat. All the fun (and not heart breaking) scenes to come!#Comic talk time: Recently saw 12 angry men for first time and I love the coincidence of the themes aligning here.#They both touch upon the horror of judicial systems - in which the most persuasive argument wins and the truth is a nuisance.#All it takes is one person to stand against the crowd and say 'I do not know what is true. And that is reasonable doubt enough.'#When the majority is for condemning someone guilty - that in itself is persuasive enough.#One will set their mind to what the 'truth' is and refuse to see it any other way. That their perspective is the only correct one.#No one is born with a monopoly on the truth.#Everyone has biases and agendas. Some care not for the outcome - only that they can be on the convenient side.#Lan Wangji is putting everything on the line to say 'I'm not going to go with the majority vote.'#And that is a huge deal in a story that is so politically focused as MDZS is. Everything is a careful chess move to these sects -#and to not play the game is basically sacrificing everything you are and your families name. For some it is unthinkable.#And there is no doubt in LWJ's mind. He would stand there and lose everything if it means upholding justice.#More importantly - these two have each other's backs. The bond is unbreakable. This is the most ride or die I have seen two people be.

My most problematic exclusionary unclebrained sports fan take is that you should have a Main. You can love everyone else according to a precise list or hate them all in equal measure, or have an inner circle you would die for, or only like your Team because one player is on it or whatever, but there should be one group of guys that, in every one of those thirty-one possible matchups you have, you want to win.
