International Fanworks Day 2023: When Fandoms Collide
Happy International Fanworks Day 2023!
I've made two lists for International Fanworks Day this year and, just like last year, one is a list of my own works and the other is a list of works I'd recommend.
They're fairly long lists so I'm putting them under a cut.
My Stories
The Arrow Does Not Dream
The world doesn't need a hero.
It needs a professional.
A fusion with The Witcher.
Founders Fairy Tales
Fusions of various Disney Princesses with the Founders from Naruto.
Almost all the princesses are here, except for Pocahontas - because cultural appropriation - and Tiana - because I have never seen that film. I did Frozen instead.
None of the stories are more than 2,200 words and most of them are a lot less.
The Closing of Our Shared Narrative
A Jedi and a Sith can never be friends, everyone knows this.
Everyone is wrong.
A fusion between Naruto and Star Wars.
To Seek (and Find)
Kisame had a dream.
He’s determined to get it back.
A fusion between Naruto and Inception.
Created Monsters
To step into a Jaeger is to Drift.
To become one of two.
A fusion between Naruto and Pacific Rim.
Ring Cow Bell Ring!
Everyone agrees that Konoha Farms produces the best fruit, cheese, and wine.
It’s just their methods that are questionable.
A fusion between Naruto and Harvest Moon.
Waddle Giggle Gargle Paddle Poodle!
Sometimes, there are dinosaurs.
(Where you least expect them.)
A fusion between Naruto and Jurassic Park.
Senju Sauropods
Hashirama is not your usual dinosaur.
He makes a friend.
A fusion between Naruto, The Good Dinosaur and Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon.
The Secret Lives of Marilyn and Susan Short
Mary Sue Maybe.
A fandom crossing take on The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
My Recommendations - Naruto
Defense Against The Dark Arts With Professor Umino by AvocadoLove
Crossover with Harry Potter.
Book 5 AU: With no witch or wizard willing to take the Defense Against The Dark Arts job except Umbridge, Dumbledore is forced to look elsewhere.
He hires a shinobi.
Fire and Water by AvocadoLove
Fusion with Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Waterbender Sifu Iruka meets firebending Commander Kakashi during the Siege of The North.
oh, but the revelation of stardust by PandaFlower
Crossover with the Marvel Cinematic Universe
What is the world coming to when goddamn aliens give me sympathetic looks about paperwork? It was boggling. Infuriating. Maybe, a smidge validating. Nick Fury resisted the urge to swear and check over his shoulder in case Murphy was lurking.
Not that this Senju Tobirama was their typical extraterrestrial, oh no, guy had to come from a separate dimension in addition to being from a different planet.
My first introduction to Tobirama and I fell in love instantly.
Moon Fish and Qilin by Good_Grief
Fusion with Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Izuna has been hunting for months, following whispers of a legend. All of the stories have led him to this place where the Moon Fish resides, all he needs to do is catch it.
Idiots Of Unusual Size by Asuka Kureru (Askerian)
Fusion with His Dark Materials.
Madara's daemon settled early.
Hashirama's daemon did not. Momo-kun was not settled when they met and he did not settle when Hashirama was thirteen and getting caught at the river. He didn't settle when they were fourteen on their first real battlefield, either, and while Madara and Kuyuri felt relieved that they had thus far escaped meeting on the field of battle, they could not help a gnawing ache of curiosity. What was he going to be? A bear, dangerous but only in it for the honey? Some slow, well-natured, well-horned cattle? A squirrel?
"Not quick-witted enough for that one," Kuyuri would say sarcastically, "but otherwise!" and Madara would half-heartedly chide her.
My Recommendations - Inception
What Dreams May Come by MarbleGlove
Crossover with Highlander.
Methos' mind is not one you'd want to be stuck in, aka the inception team attempts extraction on Adam Pierson.
Thicker Water by pprfaith
Crossover with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Arthur and Natasha rarely make it to their Gamma's birthday, but business keeps them in touch.
In Duty Homeward Shall We Fly by toomuchplor
Crossover with 3rd Rock from the Sun.
Arthur had been on this planet for nearly fourteen years now and everyone still insisted on treating him like a child.
Lions and Tigers by Starlingthefool
Crossover with Calvin & Hobbes.
"What were you like as a kid?” Eames asks him.
“Quiet,” Arthur says. “I lived in my head a lot. You?”
“I did too,” Eames replies. “Only I was never quiet about it.”
A story about growing up, sort of.
The Boy Who Spoke With Ghosts by AvocadoLove
Crossover with The Sixth Sense.
No one suspects Arthur. He's too practical, too organized, too sensible to believe in the supernatural.
Based on the kink meme prompt: Arthur's real name is Cole Sear.
dream a dream (and what you see will be) by Mizzy
Crossover with Die unendliche Geschichte (Neverending Story).
Eames has always said Arthur has no imagination and should dream a little bigger. The problem is, Arthur's dreams might be the most dangerous place to be on the planet. And when their latest job forces them to recreate Fantasia, and Arthur's secret past unravels alongside it, Cobb's team might be about to find the answer to the Neverending Story...
Two-minute warning by Trojie
Crossover with RED.
Eames tries to warn Arthur there's a price on his head.
Skybird by windsweptfic
Crossover with White Collar.
Arthur and Eames adopt a kid and raise that kid into Neal Caffrey.
secretly a reef rat by templemarker
Crossover with Hawaii Five-0.
Arthur is Steve’s brother.
My Recommendations - X-Men
The People Who Stand By You by pallorsomnium
Crossover with Wanted.
aka "In which Charles actually has a twin brother, who now wants to kick Erik's ass"
Wesley didn’t want much out of life, but what he wanted the most was for Charles and Raven to be safe and happy.
So he was rightfully displeased when he heard the message left on his emergency line, and by someone distinctly not Charles or Raven.
From Westminster With Love by thehoyden
Crossover with Sherlock.
NATO intelligence says there’s an omega-class telepath who sleeps under Westminster. Major Erik Lehnsherr is about to find out the truth for himself.
I've only done lists for three of my favourite fandoms so feel free to hit me up if you want more recs!

When Cal manages to regain the abilities he lost after Order 66, Cere insists they return to Bogano. When they get there, Cere tells him to find a large, empty space and just let loose. He spent five years hiding. He doesn't need to here, and Bogano is a safe place to really explore and let rip.
Cal does as he's told.
The sound of his laughter echoes across the plains.

Seductive Darkness | Crossover Oneshot
Happy New Year! So this oneshot is not related to the celebration at all, it’s something completely different. So a bit of background: I’ve fallen down the Star Wars rabbit hole and that’s one of the only things I think about now. So I decided to do a crossover oneshot with JJBA and Star Wars! I thought making Dio a menacing Sith Lord was fitting so I came up with this. I hope you guys enjoy it and I promise to get back to writing requests asap (I’ve had a rough time over the past few weeks). Please enjoy!
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure x Star Wars
Sith Lord!Dio x Padawan!Reader
Summary: Getting lost in a large Star Destroyer alone wasn’t a part of your plan and in the quest to look for your Master, you encounter something far more dangerous than a few battle droids.
Notes: Slightly suggestive(?)
Electric crackling and the sound of the last enemy droid hitting the steel floor echoed around the area, followed by a harsh sigh that left your lips as you retracted your lightsaber, having spent most of your energy slashing through the small army of droids on the enemy ship. You figured that this wave was far from the last one, which prompted you to start looking for your Master, whom you had gotten separated from. For a mere padawan, you were quite gifted, however you still preferred to have your exceptionally skilled Master with you. It gave you a sense of security, knowing that he would not allow any harm to fall upon you.
With quick steps, you looked around the interior of the unknown ship, keeping a close eye on your surroundings, in case the enemy tried a vicious ambush on you. Droids may have been be easy to defeat but on a large Star Destroyer like this, the sheer amount of the blaster-shooting robots was more than enough to tire out a single Jedi master. This made you worry for your Master, though you were sure that his worry for his beloved padawan was far greater. Master Jonathan was a skilled Jedi, that much was clear. He was patient and always able to keep calm even in the most dangerous situations. Still, you couldn’t help but wonder if he was safe.
The sudden sound of marching battle droids quickly reached your ears, which hastily caused you to look around for a possible hiding place. The previous encounter with a group of droids had left you rather exhausted and judging by the sound, even more of them were heading towards you. You cursed under your breath and set your eyes on the only door they could find before swiftly approaching it. Keeping your hand on your lightsaber that rested on your hip in case an enemy awaited behind the opening door, you didn’t waste any time stepping in the room, watching the door close behind you. However, as soon as you were greeted by the overwhelming darkness of the foreign area, something felt amiss.
Empty. Not a single being entered your vision that was weakened by the overwhelming darkness. In other circumstances, this would have been ideal. An empty room with no life-forms within, it was the perfect place to hide in such a dire situation like this one. However, what you didn’t see was not the thing responsible for your alarming feeling of unease, no, it was what you sensed.
An ominous presence, hidden within the shadows, your eyes didn’t detect it, but there was an undeniable feeling of power in the Force you couldn’t ignore. Your body tensed and instinctively, you ignited your weapon not only for the lacking illumination in the room but also for protection against the unknown presence lingering in it. Your (E/C) eyes look around, desperate to find the source of this being making your heart race in fear. The hand that held the lightsaber trembled as it moved from one corner to another, trying to spot the threat that evoked fright in you just by existing.
“Quite brave of you to wander around my ship all alone, young one…”
Upon hearing the menacing voice that seemingly erupted from nothingness, you immediately turned towards it, only for your eyes to finally see a cloaked figure bathing in the dominating darkness. A pair of glowing amber eyes stared at you, sending cold shivers down your spine and making every hair in your body stand up. His face was barely visible, even with you pointing your lightsaber at him, which he quickly glanced at, a small chuckle escaping his lips.
“Who are you?” You asked, trying to cover the fear that almost slipped into your voice. Fear was to be controlled as it was a path that could potentially lead to the dark side. However right now, as you stared at the person in front of you, unease was all you felt. Still, you kept your eyes on his, something the Lord noticed immediately.
“I sense great fear in you.” To your surprise, he took a step forward, enough for you to see his face clearly for the first time as he removed the hood previously covering his features. That dangerous smirk on his lips behind which you thought you saw a pair of fangs, those piercing amber eyes that stared into your very being, and the sheer power that emitted from his being alone was more than enough to make you come to a horrifying realization.
“You’re a Sith Lord!”
Another chuckle erupted from him, the sinister aura around him only seeming to grow. You held your weapon tighter, despite your hand trembling even more than before. Your eyes are locked on his form as he takes more, almost excruciatingly slow steps around you, those dangerous eyes of his examining you.
“Surprised, young padawan?” As he circled you, your insides twisted in anxiety, which unbeknownst to you, was exactly what he wanted.
“I’ve heard a lot about you, Lord Dio…”
The glare in your eyes is but an attempt to hide the terror raging within you as the closer he gets, the more that terror increased. You had never encountered a Sith Lord and truthfully, you had always dreaded the thought, for this, was far worse than you could have ever imagined.
“I am not delicate.” You say, voice a lot shakier than you had intended. A part of you wanted to slash the Lord in half right then and there, but you knew better than to attempt something so utterly foolish. Dio’s eyes lit up, an amused grin dancing across his lips at your words.
“I’m sure you have, little one.” His voice echoed around the darkened room, its tone threatening, yet somehow alluring in a twisted way.
"It is only natural that Jonathan would warn his delicate little apprentice about what dangers lie within the dark side.”
The smirk on his face that was lightly lit up by your lightsaber grew, but so did your burning glare.
“I admire your courage. The Force is strong within you, padawan.” The way his sinister voice echoed in your ears was so bizarre, you almost thought it to be a Sith mind trick. It was almost hypnotic, so much so that you failed to realize him positioning himself behind you.
“Your Master is holding you back.”
Once you heard his voice from a new location, you quickly tried to swing your saber at him, only for it to fly out of your hand with a single wave of his own. Panic quickly made its nest within your core and before you could act a clawed hand was placed on one of your shoulders while the other held a glowing red lightsaber dangerously close to your throat.
You froze as you felt the Sith Lord’s lips right next to your ear, his overwhelming strength radiating from him through his grip on you alone.
“Tell me, young one… What does your Master teach you about the dark side? About our ways?” His claws dug deeper into the skin of your shoulder, making you wince and squeeze your eyes shut. Still, you tried to remain strong.
"Everything I need to know of your… Devilish ways!” A hum that broke into another chuckle slipped his lips, which sent shivers of fright down your spine.
“I thought as much. A Jedi weak as him who fears the Dark Side would indeed pass that fear to his padawan…”
The way he spoke, the way he dangerously whispered those words into your ear had an otherwordly effect on you, one which you had never experienced before.
"We… We aren’t afraid of you!” Your efforts to try to sound unphased by his words are in vain as he moves his lightly humming weapon closer to the skin of your neck, making you gasp and ultimately prove your previous statement wrong.
“The Jedi frown upon fear. To them, it’s a weakness. But to us, my dear…” His hand moved from your shoulder and grabbed your chin, his sharp claws now digging into the skin of your face instead.
“...it’s an asset.”
Your breathing got heavier, your heart raced and the only thing you could hear was him, that dangerous Sith Lord whose seductive and twisted words clouded both your vision and judgment.
“The fear within you can make you stronger than any Jedi. Embrace it, little one.”
He lowered his deep voice to a quiet, yet haunting whisper that immediately stuck to you.
“For it will lead you to unlimited power.”
Your eyes widened, your entire body trembled as you were lost in an invisible mist his seduction had created around you. You knew what he was doing, yet you were weak against his attempts to turn you to the darkness.
You thought back at the times you doubted your Master, all the times you wanted to become stronger. The power of the dark side of the Force had never been so apparent to you. It made you weak, yet you allowed his dangerous words and ominous voice to dominate you, for you found yourself grabbing onto them, leaning to them, submitting to them.
“Why not break free, little one?”
The lack of words coming out of your mouth widens Dio’s smirk as he realizes that he had successfully affected you with his voice alone. He can sense the conflict within you, how what he had just said plagued you internally and it was all so satisfying.
“Fear binds the Jedi.” His hand left your chin and reached forward, using the Force to make your lightsaber that was lying on the floor across the room fly to his hand.
Soon the red glow of his own weapon disappeared, leaving you in darkness once again. Dio then moved in front of your frozen form, grabbed your hand, and placed your saber on your open palm before closing it.
Suddenly, all the terror and anxiety previously dominating your body ceased to exist as you glanced at your weapon before looking up at the Dark Lord, feeling a strange surge of power flowing through your veins yet at the same time, a glow of pure and uncontrollable lust sparkled dangerously in your (E/C) eyes, which the Lord immediately noticed. Your body moved on its own, completely against your will, yet something made it feel so right. The Sith Lord had done something to make you bend to his twisted will that now controlled and bound you much like the fright within you had once done.
“Yes, Master.”

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU’D LIKE TO BE ADDED TO THE TAG LIST FOR THIS STORY!!! LET ME KNOW VIA COMMENT OR MESSAGE—JUST INTERACTING WITH THIS POST IS NOT A CLEAR INDICATOR!!! Thank you for your cooperation!!!
(Feel free to reach out if you’d like more information about it before deciding if you want to be tagged! And thank you all so much for your support!!!)
What you need to know going into this story:
This fic is a Star Wars AU in that it is (to an extent) set in the Star Wars universe. This is just because I’m too lazy to world-build an entire universe for a single fic, but I already have a lot of energy put into creating my own pieces of Star Wars headcanons, OCs, and etc. that I’ve never gotten around to writing into anything, so I decided to adopt them for this fic. So while Yo Ho, Hero! takes place within the “universe” of Star Wars, it has little to nothing to do with the events of the films/shows/etc. I just wanted to use the planets/species/terminology/etc. of Star Wars instead of putting that much thought into it because I have enough else to do and all I want to do is write, not world-build, dammit.
Despite it sort-of-technically-kind-of-actually being a Star Wars AU, there are no Jedi. Just mages. No force, just good, old-fashioned magic.
In addition to planets/species/terminology/etc. from Star Wars, you may recognize some themes from other media. Yes, the “sailing ship in space” aesthetic is straight from Treasure Planet. It’s also likely that mentions of a planet called “Hyrule” will come up, along with Hylian and Rito species from it. Yes, this is a direct reference to Legend of Zelda, because at one point I was working on a LoZ/Star Wars crossover fic that never got written but did get absorbed into this story apparently. It’s also because I’m too lazy to come up with anything original.
There will be a few OCs who make minor appearances in this fic. Aleesha is one of my first-ever OCs (created when I was literally about 11-12) and has never found her way into an actual written story (despite me having PLANNED several stories about/concerning her) so I’m super excited to use her here!!! Jocasta is my D&D character who I love despite her being an actual disaster. I made a joke about how she should be in this fic cos she’s a pirate then had a galaxy brain moment and actually wrote her into it.
Pretty much any ship they encounter will be named after either a Legend of Zelda game or some other piece of popular media (my other primary source is Twilight book/movie names for some reason don’t @ me I’m unoriginal) so uhhh don’t be surprised by that. I am SO bad at coming up with names for places/things. People? Fine. I can do that. Places/ships/things/etc? Not a chance. (You may think I’m joking here, but you won’t think that when you read about a spaceship named Breath of the Wild or Midnight Sun, because those are both things that I’ve written and that may appear in this story.)
Read on FanFiction.Net | Read on Archive Of Our Own
Also including a cheat sheet of character species/races here because I don’t directly reference many of them by name in the fic. I’ll link references for some of them where I have them.
Jack Kelly: Near-human. May or may not have secret gills.
Race Higgins: “Canus”, AKA dog-based species. Think Dr. Delbert from Treasure Planet.
Elmer Kasprzak: Near-human. Appears human for all intents and purposes.
Davey Jacobs: Former human, current immortal. Basically a human frozen at 25.
Crutchie and Katherine: Humans!
Spot Conlon: “Canus”. Think Dr. Delbert from Treasure Planet.
JoJo: Onotoran (original alien race). Purple skin, deep blue eyes, and a rainbow array of feathers in place of hair on her head and running down her spine to the small of her back. Also feathers on the backs of her hands and running up her forearms to her elbows.
Romeo: half-Felis. Think Tabaxi from D&D but tall, or Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet, but more human cos he’s only half.
Specs: Literally just a Rito from Legend of Zelda (specifically Breath of the Wild).
Finch: half-Rito, half-Hylian. Closer to the look of the Rito in Wind Waker.
Skittery: Verpine (Star Wars: Legends)
Allie Raysh/Aleesha Shray: Human
Jocasta Mar’Soren: May have once been part Hylian but it doesn’t matter any more because she’s now an immortal, like Davey.
Albert Dasilva: Felis. Think Tabaxi from D&D but tall, or Captain Amelia from Treasure planet.
Buttons: he’s basically a cross between an Ood from Doctor Who and a Quarren from Star Wars.
Sarah Jacobs: human or near-human.
Les Jacobs: human or near-human.
Medda: Anatoran (original alien race). See description for JoJo, but with snow-white skin and black eyes and feathers.
Mush Meyers: Cosmoran (original alien race). See description for JoJo, but with coal-black skin and white eyes and feathers.
Elaine O’Dell: Hylian from Legend of Zelda.
Sniper: Togrutan (Star Wars)
Disclaimer: I do not own Newsies, Star Wars, Treasure Planet, the Legend of Zelda franchise, Twilight, or anything you recognize from any of those sources or any other form of published media. I do, however, own this story, Aleesha, the settlement of Haven, Jocasta, and anything else you don’t recognize from any form of published media.

Across The Stars In A Galaxy Far Far Away ★ Star Wars & Marvel Crossover AU
TWO.
Despite her Jedi training, Ahsoka couldn’t help but be have a child-like excitement of their surroundings. She sat in the window seat beside Anakin and pressed her face against the glass, staring at the big flashy lights and people they passed. From what she saw, Manhattan looked like a smaller version of Coruscant, and lacked the many, MANY, skyscrapers, flying speeders in the air, and alien species walking around. In fact, Ahsoka could only see the human species on the streets and in the cars they passed. Were there no other alien species on Earth? Was she the only alien species here?
Padmé, who was on the other side of Anakin, grinned at Ahsoka’s visible enthusiasm and constant pointing at something new she didn’t recognize but thought it resembled something back home. She nodded along to the teenage Torguta’s animated hand movements and tried to answer as many questions as she could. But the Senator, once Queen, was equally as curious about this planet they were on as Padawan, but dimmed down a couple of notches.
Anakin on the other hand, didn’t like any of this. He was one to throw original plans out the window and improvise, but this was a completely different territory for the Jedi Knight. Hell, this was a completely different part of the galaxy that didn’t know anything about the Jedi or the Force.
Obi-Wan, who was sitting in the front seat with the chair slightly reclined backwards (not that Ahsoka was complaining), could sense his former student’s anxiety about their new environment. Their bond never diminished as time passed, but fortified and became a constant in their lives. He turned his head to look at Anakin and gave him a small smile, sending him soothing waves of warmth through their bond and then closed his eyes for a moment.
Rex was stuck in the back with Artoo, and even if the SUV was roomy, he did not like the tight space. It was different, nothing like a speeder or ship he’s been in. Even Artoo was quietly grumbling about how much he hated this stupid speeder because with each turn and stop, Rex had to outstretch his arm(s) to make sure the astromech droid didn’t topple over and hit Anakin in the back of his head.
Their driver, Clint, stared at the strange bunch. Now when he was expecting a couple of aliens that had kidnapped Peter, he was expecting something along the lines of the Chitauri that he faced all those years ago. But these aliens, weren’t anything like them. Most of them were human, the teenage girl though, she was definitely an alien, for she had orange skin, white face markings and something that resembled horns? She also didn’t have any hair, which wasn’t an issue for the man, but it was different than what he was used to seeing.
But then again, after joining S.H.I.E.L.D. and becoming an Avenger, normal wasn’t in Clint’s vocabulary anymore.
After they finally reached the garage of the Tower, Clint parked the SUV and lead everyone to the elevator, including the beeping robot, which somewhat resembled a rolling trash can, that he forgot they had.
“They have turbolifts here, Master,” the orange skinned humanoid female commented as the elevator started to move. “Fascinating,” she mumbled under her breath.
“It’s slower,” the shaggy-haired human male said with a small smirk.
Clint chuckled softly, “Don’t let Stark hear you say that, he’s already an insufferable bastard as is.”
“I take it this Stark person made this turbolift?” Padmé inquired.
“Yup,” Clint popped the ‘p’, “and the entire building along with a lot of other technological gizmos. He’s the one in the metal suit from earlier that wanted to blast your asses on the spot,”
“Comforting,” Anakin said dryly.
Then, the doors to the turbolift or also known as elevators, opened revealing a red and gold skinned being. Vision smiled amicably at the newest arrivals and stepped aside to let them through. “Welcome, my name is The Vision or just Vision. I’m a synthetic android made from vibranium that was once an A.I for Mr, Stark. He also told me to lead you to the medical labs to be checked up on and to provide you with clothes to change into.”
“Thank you, Vision.” Padmé smiled back at the man and decided to walk beside him, introducing herself and the rest of her group to him.
Anakin then took Obi-Wan off of Rex’s hands, allowing his former teacher lean against him as they followed after Vision and Padmé down the long corridor. When they finally arrived at the doors to the lab, Vision input something into the panel before the doors slide open. There was a man in a purple shirt with his back to the rest of them, staring at a holographic screen and rubbing his chin anxiously.
“Dr. Banner, may I introduce our guests?” Vision told the man, causing him to turn around with blatant surprise.
“Vision, hey,” the Doctor nodded his head and curiously glanced at the group behind him.
“This is Padmé Amidala, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Captain Rex, Ahsoka Tano, and their astromech droid, R2-D2,” Vision carefully gestured to each and every being clearly making sure that each brief description Padmé gave him correlated correctly.
“Nice to meet all of you, my name is Bruce Banner,” he raised his hand slightly to wave. “I’ll be doing some basic scans and check-ups on all of you, Tony guessed all of your sizes and has some clothes stacked on the bench over there,” he pointed to said bench, “that you can change into. There’s an bathroom connected through that door,” again, pointing to where said door was.
“I’ll go first,” Ahsoka stepped forward with a bright and eager smile.
Bruce eyed the young Torguta with a great amount of curiosity before nodding firmly and gesturing to the table he’d be examining her on. “Thank you, and you’re... Ahsoka, correct?”
“You’re right, doc!”
━━━━━━━━━━━━
An hour or so later, everyone had changed out of their clothes and into Earthly outfits. Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Rex were given gray, black, and blue sweatpants along with white, green, and gray t-shirts. Ahsoka and Padmé wore black leggings paired with red and blue tees. They’d also been given black sneakers and socks which were surprisingly comfortable.
Obi-Wan, despite his initial injuries, was given a thorough check up by Dr. Banner. His chest was wrapped and he was given some pills for the pain. Everyone else had a clean bill of health, and vaccinations just in case.their space bodies couldn’t handle whatever illnesses Earth had to offer.
Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Padmé were then tasked with trying to explain their situation to the Avengers (which Anakin was absolutely floored to learn that was their actual team name.) Ahsoka and Rex lingered in the background, keeping to themselves and talking to each other about how weird this all was.
An eccentric billionaire who used all of his high-technology to make the world a better place. A super soldier that was frozen alive for 70 years with a heart of gold. Two assassins with a deep history with one another. Super-powered twins, one was weird, the other was fast. A Doctor that turned into an alternate person which was green and severely muscular when angered. A former assassin that was brainwashed to be a human weapon... and many other team members that they haven’t met because they weren’t on site according to Vision.
“Sorry if I find it hard to believe... any of that.” Tony blinked after Obi-Wan and Padmé spoke about the Clone Wars that had recently ended in their galaxy. “And sorry, that you two and the kid are... um... space wizards?”
“Some find that the Jedi are sorcerers with our magic-like abilities through the Force, Obi-Wan nodded patiently.
“What about this War you had? You said it was caused by the secession of star systems from your government, the Republic to the Confederacy and for the War, the Clone Troopers were created for the Republic to be used for battle... but there was another alternative plot beneath it all?” Steve asked, particularly eager about the war they had fought.
“Yes, the Chancellor of the Galactic Republic, Sheev Palaptine, was actually a Sith Lord who orchestrated the entire War. He wanted the Republic to crumble along with the Jedi Order so he could restore the Sith Empire... and...” Padmé carefully glanced over at Anakin who was now staring at his hands, gripping them tightly.
Padmé frowned softly and then reached forward and put her hand over his, giving it a small, reassuring squeeze.
“Palpatine... Darth Sideous was grooming me for years and nearly seduced me into the dark side of the Force to become his new apprentice...” Anakin announced in a soft voice as he tried to steady himself from lashing out or leaving the room.
“He had chips put in Rex and all of the clones that when activated, would massacre any and all the Jedi they served.” Obi-Wan added, quick to take attention away from Anakin, knowing all-to-well that the revelations of Palpatine’s true nature was a hard pill for his former student to swallow.
The room went silent for a moment, allowing the information they were receiving to float in the air. It was clear that this group had been through hell and back again for the three years that the Clone Wars raged on.
Steve looked at each and every person, taking note of what kind of role they played. Padmé was a senator, the former Queen of her planet Naboo, who didn’t agree with the War from the start. Obi-Wan and Anakin were generals who watched hundreds of soldiers die under their command for a worthless war. Rex was one of those soldiers who didn’t know where his place was without the War and had survived it but not without a few battle scars. And Ahsoka, she was only a child when the War started, now a growing young woman who not only shouldn’t have never stepped foot on a battlefield, but never had a real childhood.
"I still don’t understand how you got here though. I know space is huge, but out of all the planets to land on, you really chose Earth, huh? And New York nontheless!” Tony chuckled lightly, doing his best to make light of the situation.
“It’s possible that during our escape, we got sucked into a wormhole.” Obi-Wan suggested. “There’s been no records of anyone travelling through one before.”
“Yup, now you’ve lost me,” Clint blinked blankly before getting up to walk into the kitchen. “Anyone want some beers? Don’t answer that, because everyone is getting one. We’ve deserved it.”
“Like I said before, there are Separatist sympathizers that want us dead. They hit our hyperspace drive right when Ani put in the coordinates while we were escaping the skirmish and... here we are.”
Clint then returned from the kitchen, handing out beer bottles to everyone before stopping in front of Ahsoka and eyeing her warily. “How old are you anyway?”
“Galactic Standard would have me at 17,” Ahsoka replied as she eyed the beer bottle in his arms. “It’s the legal age to drink in most of the galaxy,”
“Ah, sorry little lady, but the legal drinking age here is 21,” Clint patted the space between her montrals ever-so carefully in a playful manner before continuing to pass out drinks.
Ahsoka scrunched her face together in annoyance and turned her head in the direction of Anakin. “What a bunch of bantha-poodoo! Master, you’ve seen me drink before! Tell the sleemo,”
“Sorry Snips, but if their legal age is different here then...” Anakin shrugged his shoulders to indicate that the situation was simply out of his hands before popping open the top of the beer bottle and taking a sip.
Rex laughed loudly and slapped his hand over his mouth to stifle it. He’s seen his fair share of the Torguta drinking, many times he had to drag her back to base over his shoulder because she was a bit of a lightweight. And if he was going to be honest, this was the peek of entertainment.
The teen crossed her arms over her chest and huffed as she watched him drink. “This sucks, Skyguy.”
“Ah, I’ll have to decline from drinking.” Obi-Wan gestured to his chest. “I’m on medication and I don’t know how well that would mix with alcohol.”
“I can make some tea instead, I don’t drink anyway,” Wanda waved her hand as strings of red floated from her fingertips and towards the kitchen, where the stove turned on and a tea kettle started to bottle.
“Splendid,” Obi-Wan nodded his head in her direction, thankful that they at least had tea here. “Might want to make some for Ahsoka here, she looks like she needs a calming tea.”
Ahsoka stuck her tongue out at the older man in a childish manner. “Oh you think you’re so funny, Master.”
Whilst everyone was busy conversing and sharing stories, Padmé would discreetly pass her beer to Ahsoka, knowing that a few sips couldn’t hurt. The teenage girl was more than happy that the Senator was giving into her whims. Plus, the two have had their fair share of nights spent sharing a bottle of Alderaanian wine towards the end of the War.
Though, this act didn’t go unnoticed by everyone. Tony thought it was funny when he first noticed the exchange, recalling how his first few drinks were at home with Jarvis. He didn’t say anything, just smirked behind his bottle and went on with their night.

MCU characters in the “Star Trek” universe
I thought of making this post months ago. I hesitated, and still do, because some of these are very close to some original “Star Trek” characters that I’m cooking up for a personal “Star Trek” fanfic.
But then someone else made a post about an Avengers/”Star Trek” crossover, with a Vulcan Stephen Strange, that I found interesting. They said they were new to “Star Trek,” and I offered suggestions. They asked me to tag them when I post this, so here I tag: @ellisper this is partially for you. I am not telling anyone that they have to write their Avengers/”Star Trek” crossover this way; this is just my personal two-cents.
Steve Rogers: Thawed Augment from the Eugenics Wars
In “Star Trek” canon, the Eugenics Wars are a dark part of Earth’s history, set between present day, and the Utopian 23rd Century in which the main action of “Star Trek” is set. The famous “Star Trek” villain, Khan, comes from this time period. The Eugenics Wars occurred before Humans discovered Warp travel, or met any alien life. During this time, humanity experimented with genetic engineering, and created super-humans called Augments. Augments tended to be evil, due to superiority complexes. The most infamous was Khan, who, along with his crew of Augments, wound up cryogenically frozen, and thawed centuries later in Captain Kirk’s time. For a “Star Trek” version of Steve Rogers, this seems fitting. Naturally, Steve is one of the “good” Augments, who was fighting for equality, against Khan. Somehow, he wound up frozen like Khan’s crew, and thawed centuries later. Just like canon-Steve, this Augment Steve is from a past war that most Starfleet officers only know from history books; and his body and abilities come from a scientific experiment that was abandoned long, long ago.
Sam Wilson: Human pilot, from an off-world colony, scarred by the Dominion War
Sam would be one of the first people to welcome Steve Rogers to the 24th Century, and treat him like a regular person. His military experience and involvement in PTSD groups might be related to the Dominion War (which occurred during “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” and had a lasting effect on Starfleet and all of its allies, in “Next Generation” and “Voyager.”)
I feel like Sam would come from an off-world colony, maybe because he has a rougher edge to him, that an Earth-bred officer might lack. If I’m not mistaken, Sam also grew up in poverty, in MCU canon. (In “Star Trek,” Earth is a “paradise” in the 24th Century, with all poverty and prejudice eliminated; so human characters who come from bad places come from off-world, like Tasha Yar.)
Stephen Strange: Romulan turncoat, training with Vulcans
Vulcans and Romulans are evolutionary cousins. Sans the foreheads, the only significant difference is cultural. Vulcans tamed their volatile emotions centuries ago, with logic and discipline. Romulans embraced their darker tendencies, and are now more imperial. There is great animosity and distrust between the two sub-species. However, some Romulans respect the Vulcans, and seek to learn from them. (This is revealed in “Star Trek: the Next Generation.”)
The Stephen Strange we see in “Infinity War” might seem Vulcan-like. But if you watch his movie, “Dr. Strange,” he wasn’t always so. Pre-wizard Strange is like many of the Romulans you’ll see on “Star Trek:” a brilliant scientist, but very arrogant, with a volatile temper, and questionable ethics. For a “Star Trek” Dr. Strange, I postulate a Romulan scientist who suffers an injury and loses his ability to practice. He travels to Vulcan in the hopes of curing himself, and learns from one of the most powerful Vulcan telepaths. (Vulcans have far more experience with telepathy than Romulans, who for the most part, don’t seem to even have the ability.)
Naturally, a Vulcan/Romulan Strange would also rock that evil-Spock goatee. In short, Strange is a Romulan who converted to Vulcan-ism. His Romulan temperament still shines through his newfound Vulcan discipline, especially when he’s interacting with....
Tony Stark: Joined Trill
Here’s the one that made me hesitate, because of my “Star Trek” OC. But, here we go....
The Trill look like humans with spots on the sides of their faces, and kangaroo pouches in their tummies (for both males and females). Most of the Trill are pretty much just that. But one tenth of the Trill population is “joined” to a race of super-intelligent, immortal slugs, who live in said kangaroo pouches. Once joined, the slug--called a Symbiont--and the “host” Trill---both have their minds merged into one being. It is very important that a Trill and Symbiont are well matched before joining, or else insanity could result.
A joined Trill will replace his or her last name with the name of the symbiont. (Ezri Tigan is joined to the Dax symbiont, and changes here name to Ezri Dax.) A host will have all of the memories of the Symbiont’s past hosts, which can lead to some confusion and identity crisis. Since Tony Stark is a character marked entirely by conflict and dualities, I can’t see him being anything but a joined Trill. The Stark symbiont is the genius engineer, and the Tony host is the playboy manchild.
Since Tony’s character is heavily driven by his past (daddy issues, guilt, etc) that could also translate into memories of past-hosts. Maybe the crimes Trill-Tony blames himself for weren’t his at all, but a past host of the Stark symbiont.
On my “Star Trek” OC, Nuvo Auz: He is not exactly a carbon copy of Tony Stark, but he’s close enough to this “Trill Tony Stark” described that I hesitated to share. But oh well. It’s fan fiction, so it’s not like originality is a major issue here.
James Rhodes: Another joined Trill, who has been friends with Stark for several “hosts”
There is now a reason Rhodey changed appearances so abruptly and completely; he changed hosts! The Rhodey on the left sadly died during a mission where he was unfortunate enough to be wearing red, but the Stark and Rhodey symbionts were inseparable, even though various hosts. The plotline of Rhodey breaking his back might also be replaced by Rhodey losing another host altogether. That would really motivate Tony, if his best friend really did partially-die, during one of their battles.
The Trill do have laws against “re-association” with past-hosts’ families and spouses, but friendships seem to be except from this rule, as Captain Sisko is friends with Dax through three hosts (Kurzon Dax, Jadzia Dax and Ezri Dax).
Pepper Potts: Unjoined Trill Telepath
As mentioned above, most Trill are not joined. Among the unjoined Trill, a small percentage are telepathic. These telepathic Trill cannot be joined, but are important in helping with those who are. Trill telepaths guard the unjoined symbionts in their cave-lakes, and also use their telepathy to perform Trill rituals that allow a joined Trill to talk more directly with his or her past hosts.
Trill telepathy is not elaborated on in canon, so this AU has a lot of freedom in terms of what Pepper can do with her telepathy.
Pepper is the only Trill telepath who could deal with the insanity that is Tony Stark, and has been by his side for years. Her telepathy gives her sharp intuition, and she is the first to discover that Stane is betraying Tony, when she quickly reads Stane’s mind when he isn’t looking. She can sense when Tony’s in danger, and communicate with him mentally from afar.
She hates how reckless joined Trill like Tony are, since they feel immortal. She reminds him he is not immortal; his memories may be, but there will only ever be one Tony Stark, and she doesn’t want to lose him.
Morgan Stark: Get some tissues....
Tony, being Tony, goes against the Symbiosis Commissions rules about joining, and leaves his symbiont Stark to his daughter after his death. Morgan inherits the symbiont, and with it, all her father’s memories. She constantly hears him tell her, “I love you 3000.”
Mantis: Aenar/Betazoid Hybrid
The Aenar are evolutionary cousins of Andorians (those blue guys with the antennae). The Aenar, unlike Andorians, have very powerful telepathic abilities, and live in seclusion.
Betazoids look identical to humans, except for their solid black eyes. Betazoids, as well, have a wide range of mental powers. Most are some degree of telepaths, but how powerful they are depends on the individual. Counselor Deanna Troi, who is half-Betazoid and half-Human, cannot read minds like most full-Betazoids, but she is an “empath,” and can sense emotions from other people.
Mantis’s black eyes and empathic powers scream of Betazoid to me. But naturally her antennae and sheltered nature also scream of Aenar. I think an Aenar/Betazoid hybrid makes the most sense for her, personally.
Natasha Romanof: Low-telepath Betazoid, or Betazoid/Human Hybrid
Betazoid women are stereotyped for their alluring, seductive natures. Natasha Romanov uses seduction, along with her sharp intuition, in her job as a spy. She clearly cannot read or affect others’ minds the way Mantis or Wanda Maximoff can, but Nat’s ability to read other people would make sense for a part-Betazoid, or a Bertazoid on the low-end of the telepathy spectrum.
Clint Barton: Human, or Bajoran
Bajorans are basically humans with wrinkly noses, and their whole planet seemingly follows one religion. All in all, not “Star Trek’s” best concept for an alien race.
I was originally going to dismiss Clint as a boring Human, but he could just as easily be Bajoran. Bajorans have a history of guerrilla fighting Cardassian oppressors, and while it’s never stated in canon, I’ve always gotten the impression that Bajorans were more nimble and stealthy than humans. After recently winning their home planet back from the Cardassians, Bajorans are trying to rebuild their lives and families. Many are farmers. This all seems fitting enough for Clint. Otherwise, Clint might simply be the token boring Human onboard. Like Miles O’Brian of DS9, Clint is the family man in the group, and...not much else. He could even relate to Miles over having a relatively mundane-seeming job compared to the other characters (Miles sat at the transporter controls when on the Enterprise, and is the subject of much ridicule in the fandom for this.)
Thor: Klingon, son of the current emperor
If you’re new to “Star Trek,” you might be thinking, “No way, pretty Thor, one of those ugly lizard things from ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ and the recent movies?” Well I’m thinking more of the Picard-era Klingons for this one. Yes, Klingons are warriors--and specifically, they are largely based on stereotypes of Vikings--but not all Klingon characters are vicious monsters. Many are jolly and full of honor, and love to drink mugs of bloodwine while telling exaggerated tales of their glorious battles. Picturing Thor, and all of his Asgardian friends, as Klingons, each with their own unique Klingon forheads, armor and weapons, is just too great.
Loki: Changeling orphan raised by Klingons, who later allies with the Dominion
Introduced on “Deep Space Nine,” the Founders, AKA “Changelings,” are a species from the other side of the galaxy. Their true form is silver syrup, but with practice, they can take any form, depending on how skilled and experienced they are. The Founders are rulers of the Dominion, a sort of evil counterpart to the Federeation. Their subject species worship them as gods, and the Founders hope for galactic domination.
To gain more information on the rest of the galaxy, the Founders often send baby Changelings out into the universe, to grow up among alien species, so they can come back and share their experiences with the rest of the Great Link (the sea of silver jelly that makes up the Founder homeworld). Unfortunately, the Founders don’t seem to plan this very well, as they give the baby Changelings no way of knowing where they’re from, why they were sent away, or what they’re supposed to do. Odo, a main character on “Deep Space Nine,” grew up an orphan and the only one of his species, having no clue of his origins.
Now if this isn’t all Loki in a nutshell, I don’t know what is.
Emperor Odin found the baby Changeling, and taught him to take a Klingon form. Loki grew up very bitter about not knowing his origins. When he did finally learn of the Founders, he was eager to return to the Great Link and prove himself, and became one of the Dominion’s highest agents. Loki was far more skilled at shape-shifting than Odo (as many Founders were), and could take any form with ease.
He tried to take over the Klingon Empire by impersonating his father; he led a Dominion Army to try to conquer Earth; and in the end, he switched sides and died trying to save his brother and the Klingon Empire....or did he?
Bruce Banner: Human/Klingon hybrid (either natural or artificial)
There are several part-Klingons in “Star Trek” canon. One of them, B’Elanna Torres ( “Star Trek: Voyager”) is a brilliant engineer, who is constantly frustrated by her Klingon temper interfering with her work. Bruce Banner could just as easily be in the exact same boat as her, though his personality would be different than hers. (B’Elanna often combats her rage with sarcasm, and has a lot in common with Tony Stark in that regard.)
B’Elanna is a born hybrid--one human parent, one Klingon parent. There are others, however, who are “artificial hybrids;” a person born one species, who, through some genetic engineering or mistake, ends up with traits of the other species fused into them. Klingons experimented with genetic engineering on themselves to try and disguise as Humans, to infiltrate Star Fleet. (This was a retcon in “Enterprise,” to explain why the Klingons in the Original “Star Trek” look so Human, and nothing like the Klingons of TNG-onward. A Klingon-engineered-to-look-human also appears on “Discovery.”)
Bruce Banner could just be a born hybrid like B’Elanna... but if one wants to tie in his MCU backstory into this “Star Trek” AU, it may make sense to go the “military genetic experiment gone wrong” route. Admiral Ross (no “generals” in Starfleet, don’t ask me why) may have ordered Bruce to test this method of disguising humans as Klingons on himself, and it went horribly wrong.
King T’Challa: Human, from a separate colony that still practices genetic engineering
In “Star Trek,” it is not uncommon for members of one specific ethnic group to build a colony on an alien planet, based entirely around that one culture. (Or stereotypes of it. “Star Trek” is kind of clumsy with how it handles real life cultures, unfortunately.) There’s a colony of Scottish people, where Dr. Crusher’s nanna lives. Commander Chakotay’s culture was a tribe of Native Americans who left Earth and set up a colony on another planet to preserve their culture.
Wakanda could just as easily be the same case. In addition to preserving their culture, the Wakandans might also have left Earth so that they could continue using genetic engineering, a practice that Starfleet has banned (after the Eugenics Wars). In the Wakanda Colony, genetic manipulation is handled very carefully, and only the ruling king becomes a full-on Augment.
Gamora: Orion pirate
Orions are a green-skinned race, known to be pirates and slave traders. Orion women emit pheromones that seduce males of other species, though it’s unclear if this always true, or how much control they have over it. Trekkies tend to think of Orion women as scantily dressed slave dancers, but latter “Star Trek” incarnations have female Orions in other roles, often as badass pirate traders and leaders, and sometimes even Starfleet officers. They do have a tendency to wear kinky black leather though, and the last Orion woman we saw on “Star Trek: Discovery” was a dead-ringer for Gamora!
Bucky Barnes: Liberated Borg Drone
The Borg are the single greatest villains in “Star Trek,” and are every bit to “Star Trek” what Hydra is to the Avengers. The Borg are a race of half-machine cyborg people, whose minds are all enslaved to one collective Hive Mind. Their goal is to assimilate the entire galaxy. On “Star Trek,” we’ve met several characters who were assimilated by the Borg, but later escaped, and struggled to reclaim their humanity. It happened once to Captain Picard; he was assimilated, and forced to wipe out an entire Federation fleet, under the influence of the Borg, before he was rescued by the Enterprise. On “Voyager,” Seven of Nine--formerly Annika Hanson--was assimilated with here parents at age 6, and wasn’t rescued until 18 years later. She spends four years on the show regaining her humanity, wrestling with the guilt, and coping with the trauma.
Borg-Bucky can tie into Trill-Tony this way. Perhaps a previous Stark host was assimilated along with his entire family by Borg-Bucky, and somehow, the Stark symbiont was rescued and able to move into a new host. Since this is "Star Trek,” it’s also perfectly believable for that massive plot line to get abruptly dropped and never mentioned again. (Sorry, I’m still salty about that...)
Wanda Maximoff: Ocampa, from Suspiria’s Array
This is another one from “Star Trek: Voyager.” The Ocampa are a race of telepaths, but how powerful they are depends on which sect they come from. Centuries ago, another race called Caretakers (a race of super-intelligent blobs) accidentally turned the Ocampan home-world into a desert. One Caretaker kept a bunch of Ocampans underground on their dead homeworld, and provided for them. Being dependent for so many generations caused their powers to weaken, until basic telepathic conversation was all they could do. But the other Caretaker, named Suspiria, took a few Ocampa lightyears away to live on a space station, where she encouraged them to exercise their powers to the max. Their abilities included telekenesis, and inducing spontaneous combustion in plants. These Ocampa were more sinister than the other kind. I think this would be as good a backstory as any for MCU-Wanda Maximoff. After nearly destroying the ship, she switches sides, and tries to tame her incredible mind powers, and only use them for good.
Also, Ocampans only live 9 or 10 years, and are fully grown by age 2. This could explain some of the confusion surrounding Wanda’s age, with characters treating her like a kid one minute, and a soldier to bring into battle the next. This is another one that’s vaguely similar to one of my OCs, though my Ocampa character is almost nothing at all like Wanda. But, she is an Ocampa from Suspiria’s array.
Ava Starr: Human mutated by a freak transporter accident
There’s an episode of “Star Trek: the Next Generation” where Lt. LaForge and Ensign Ro get into a transporter accident that essentially turns them into ghosts. Here, something similar happened to poor Ava Star, but she could sometimes maintain solid form, and was visible to others, even when phasing.
Her father was attempting to open a gateway to either the Mirror Universe or Fluidic Space, or some such other dimension, and it literally blew up in his face. He and Ava’s mom died, and they were the lucky ones.
Ava was then taken advantage of by Section 31 (basically the Federation’s CIA), and used for classified missions. And now she is just so done with everything and everyone, and just wants a cure.
Hank Pym: Eccentric scientist who rejects Starfleet
There are quite a few of these in the world of “Star Trek” (Data’s creator, Seven of Nine’s parents). Some scientists just think Starfleet is too controlling, or corrupt, or they just hate people, or the writers just want an easy way for a scientist to be up to something Starfleet doesn’t know about.
Hank Pym was a prominent Starfleet scientist, until Howard Stark tried to steal his research. Pym quit Starfleet, and tried to find a place to settle to continue his research undisturbed. But his ship crashed on an alien planet. He almost died in the alien wilderness, until the planet’s dominant species--a race of super-intelligent insecticides--took him in and adopted him into their colony.
Pym now trusts neither Starfleet nor “Starks,” regardless of who the current Stark host is. The only ones he trusts are his faithful companions and minions, the ants.
Hope Van Dyne: Pym’s estranged, half-Vulcan daughter, who works for Starfleet
Unlike Spock, she doesn’t try to mask her emotions and be entirely “Vulcan.” But she does practice lots of Vulcan control and sardonicism, to deal with her resentment towards her father for her mother’s (supposed) death.
Janet Van Dyne: Pym’s Vulcan wife, thought killed in a space anomaly, but actually stranded in Fluidic Space
Fluidic Space is another dimension, where Species 8472 live (from “Star Trek: Voyager”)
Scott Lang: Lower-decks crewman who everyone thinks is gonna die a redshirt’s death, but turns out to be a badass
And because he’s a dopey human who makes funny quips and is the butt of endless jokes, he will end up with the half-Vulcan woman who can’t stand him.
Peter Quill: Human, from the 20th Century
Time travel is rampant in “Star Trek,” so Peter Quill’s character can stay pretty much exactly the same as he is in MCU-canon.
Nebula: Bolian, ex-Borg Drone
Bolians are bald blue people, and.....that’s about all we know about them. Well, they supposedly are also all motor-mouths, but you know, stereotypes. Anyway, being assimilated would make even the chattiest person turn pretty antisocial.
Her eye-implant is also a LOT like Seven of Nine’s.
Carol Danvers: Human-Q hybrid, Starfleet pilot
The Q are among the most powerful beings in the Universe, as well as some of the most sinister. The main Q character we know on “Star Trek: the Next Generation” and “Voyager” has dealt at least twice with young Qs, who he was rearing with questionable methods. In the TNG episode “True Q,” Q mentors young Amanda Rogers (an orphaned Q raised by humans), in a way that is very reminiscent of Yon Rogg’s mentoring of Vers. Is it possible for Q to reproduce with non-Q? Who knows, but since the Q seem capable of damn near anything, I don’t see why not. Though, if we’re keeping things close to MCU canon, then Carol may have been born a regular human, and only became part-Q after a bizarre accident. In any case, she is no longer with the Q Continuum, and now fights for justice independently, or with Starfleet.
Peter Parker: Kid genius, except likable. The Anti-Wesley.
During “Infinity War,” my friend said Peter reminded her of Wesley, and I said, “Never say that again, or I’ll beam you into a black hole.” Anyway, Peter would be a kid-genius serving on a ship like Wesley (but likable), and like Reg Barclay, would end up becoming part spider, due to one of the many bizarre anomalies the ship runs into every week.
If canon-Peter was enamored with Iron Man, just picture this Peter’s excitmenent upon learning that the chief engineer is a joined Trill, who has lived multiple life times, and all of the inappropriate questions he’d pester Tony with, like, “What’s it like to die? What’s it like to die three times? Were any of your deaths really badass? Like, did you ever go out blowing up a Borg cube or get blown into space or something?”
“This is why some species eat their young.”
Friday: Hologram
In “Star Trek,” holograms--by the 24th Century anyway--look and even feel like solid, real people. Which begs some very disturbing questions about the fact that they’re created as basically slave labor. But Tony at least would never treat any of his holograms like mindless appliances to toss away, and if any of them wanted to leave he wouldn’t stop them.
Anyway, Friday is a hologram he programed after Jarvis was integrated into Vision. And she is a badass.
Vision: Soon-type android, with a hologram and alien technology mixed in
Kinda self-explanatory, not sure what else needs to be said.
Thaddeus Ross: insane admiral
Alongside doomed redshirts and and promiscuous male commanding officers, the evil insane admiral is one of “Star Trek’s” oldest and most treasured traditions. It does get to be a bit concerning after a while, that there are so many insane admirals in the Federation. Some fans theorize that Starfleet promotes bad captains to admirals to keep them off starships, figuring the occasional crazy admiral grabbing at galactic domination is better than a crazy incompetent captain every week. Whatever the reason, insane megalomaniac admirals plague Starfleet.
Thaddeus Ross is one such admiral. Previously leader of a fleet of starships, he was promoted to an even higher brand of admiral after the fiasco with Bruce Banner. Unfortunately, it turned out that giving this twit even more power was, shockingly, a bad idea.
If I think of more, I may update this. But I think these are the main ones I have AU ideas for.

Kingdom Hearts 3 release date, news and trailers
It’s been almost 12 years since Kingdom Hearts 2 was released, but the demand for Kingdom Hearts 3 has not faltered. In that 12 years we may have gone through one and a half new console generations (and played many spin off titles) but the mainline Kingdom Hearts story has remained in the back of our minds.
Thankfully the highly-anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3 was confirmed by Square Enix in 2013 with an official announcement.
Following the official announcement, Square Enix remained pretty tight-lipped about any further details regarding Kingdom Heart 3. Then at E3 2014 we got a teaser trailer and some tantalizing details, followed by even more news and a gameplay trailer at E3 2015.
But it was E3 2018 when the real juicy details emerged, showing some of the Disney characters Sora, Donald and Goofy will be encountering, alongside an official release date.
We’ve summarised all the news, rumors and juicy details about Kingdom Hearts 3 right here for you – so get comfy.
[Update: V-Jump magazine has given us a closer look at the Hercules characters.]
Cut to the chase
What is it? The long-anticipated third mainline title in Square Enix’s action roleplaying crossover series, Kingdom Hearts.
When can I play it? January 29, 2019
What can I play it on? PS4 and Xbox One
Trailers
There are now a lot of Kingdom Hearts 3 trailers out in the world for you to pore over. However, the most recent trailer is from Tokyo Game Show and revealed the Big Hero 6 world.
Two trailers from E3 2018 confirmed that Frozen, Wreck-It-Ralph, and Pirates of the Caribbean are new worlds in the game.
We also got a four minutes long trailer Disney’s D23 Expo in Japan. The gameplay video gives fans a look at the brand new Monsters Inc World, starring Boo, Mike and Sully.
D23 is the place for Kingdom Hearts trailers, as prior to the Japan event we were treated to another trailer announcing a brand new Toy Story world.
Not long before this at E3 2017 we got the chance to see another gameplay trailer which showed off footage from the game’s Hercules level.
The second most recent trailer for the game was released at JumpFesta in 2016. The trailer gave an insight into how the game’s combat will work as well as a glimpse at special abilities and the impact the game’s environment will have on fighting.
Prior to this there was another and much more full trailer released at E3 in 2015. In this gameplay trailer fans got a look at what appears to be a new location – the exterior of Rapunzel’s tower from the film Tangled.
A much shorter trailer was revealed at E3 in 2014, setting the stage for the game’s main story.
And of course we can’t forget the announcement trailer from all the way back in 2013. There have been lots of trailer haven’t there?
Kingdom Hearts 3 release date
Square Enix has now confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 3 will launch on January 29 2019.
Kingdom Hearts 3 news and features
A closer look at Hercules characters
Twitter user YonkouProductions shared a screenshot of the next V-Jump issue which shows off the Hercules characters we can expect to see in Kingdom Hearts 3 (via Comic Book). We already knew we would be returning to Hercules and Mount Olympus in the latest addition to the Kingdom Hearts franchise, however the screenshot reveals we will also be meeting Meg, Pegasus, Hades and Meg on the journey.

Story
Kingdom Hearts 3 will see players once more take up the role of Sora as he travels with his closest friends Donald and Goofy across a variety of world themed around and populated by a host of famous Disney and Final Fantasy characters.
Game director Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that the game’s story will start straight after the ending of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.
This means that the game will follow our trio in their pursuit of the Seven Guardians of Light to prepare for their final showdown against Master Xehanort. All the while, King Mickey and Riku will continue their hunt for the remaining Keyblade wielders.
Does all of this sound like complete gobbledygook to you? Not to worry, if you’d like to catch up on all of the essential story you can do so on PlayStation 4 by playing Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.
Not sure you’ve got the time for playing through all of that? Then you could watch the below summary of the franchise timeline created by Game Trailers. It’s still almost an hour long but it’ll do the job.
New visuals
Kingdom Hearts 3 will adopt a slightly visual style to previous games in the franchise, aiming for more of a brush-like look than photo realism. In an interview with Famitsu (via Kotaku) Tetsuya Nomura was very open about the decision to take a new visual approach, stating that this new direction was an attempt to “Express Disney’s 2D brushwork in 3D.”
Nomura said this was a look they’d wanted since the first game but “At the time, the [PlayStation 2] didn’t have the processing power to allow us to freely adjust the lighting.”
The new PlayStation 4 hardware, however, is much more capable and Nomura said it’s possible to get “a real feeling of evolution by just making the standard graphics into HD.” Nomura admitted that it’s a fairly “drastic change” but added that he sees it as “a rich evolution of everything we’ve shown you up to now.”
Gameplay
It looks like the action RPG gameplay won’t change too much from previous titles in the franchise, most likely drawing from and improving on that of Kingdom Hearts 2 and perhaps integrating particularly successful elements from the handheld titles.
It’s been confirmed, though, that Sora will be much more mobile in combat, able to wall run, jump on enemies, and largely take greater advantage of the game’s much larger environments.
Back in 2013, Nomura said that the combat in Kingdom Hearts 3 will be “pretty frantic”, with NPCs able to join in the three-person party fights as well as “more intricate” enemy AI.
A couple of interesting new combat features that have been confirmed include Attraction Flow and Keyblade Transformations.
Attraction Flow attacks are new super moves that will apparently be triggered under certain though unconfirmed battle conditions. These powerful moves based on the Flowmotion moves from Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance are inspired by some of the biggest rides at the Disney theme parks such as the Teacups, Pirate Ship and Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Keyblade Transformations are fairly self explanatory and will allow Sora’s Keyblade weapons to transform in battle with different effects.
According to Nomura, Keyblade Transformations will only be unlocked when all missions from one of the game’s worlds are unlocked, with each individual world offering its own unique transformation.
For example, it was spotted by KH Insider that an Olympus Keyblade was able to cast Zeus’ lightning as well as transform into a Pegasus-drawn chariot.
New worlds
Disney’s been busy in the years since Kingdom Hearts 2 was first released so as you’d expect, there are going to be a few new worlds to play in.
Thus far the Kingdom of Corona from Tangled, an as yet untitled world from Big Hero 6, Mount Olympus from Hercules, Twilight Town Mysterious Tower, Toy Story, Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean and Monsters inc. worlds have been confirmed as new additions.
In a recent interview with Famitsu, Nomura lessened the excitement of a brand new Toy Story world slightly by revealing that there will be fewer Disney worlds in this game than in Kingdom Hearts 2.
Kingdom Hearts 2 had 12 worlds in total and thus far we have seven worlds confirmed for the third game. With Nomura stating that all of the worlds that will feature in the game will be revealed before its release we can expect a few more to be revealed over the next year. How many of these will be brand new worlds and how many will be repeats from previous games is unclear.
At the very least, Nomura has promised that even though there will be fewer worlds, they’ll be much more dense. We have to admit, not every Kingdom Hearts world holds an equal place in our own hearts so we’ll happily take quality over quantity.
Though Disney has also acquired Marvel and LucasFilm, it’s unlikely their franchises will appear in Kingdom Hearts due to a variety of other license agreement barriers, with Nomura cautioning that “the other associated companies under Disney [are] not something that is as simple as us consulting with Disney Interactive. So, unfortunately, the lineup is kind of considered as different.”
Another playable character?
A report in Official PlayStation UK (scanned by KHInsider) suggests that Kingdom Hearts 3 may feature a playable Riku alongside Sora.
“The latest game in the Disney-meets-Final-Fantasy mash up series is split between two perspectives of best buds Sora and Riku. You will meet a host of new characters whose help you’ll need to stop the evil Master Xehanort from bringing about another Keyblade war. Familiar faces and places return, but there are new worlds to visit inspired by Toy Story, Fantasia and Tangled.”
These aren’t details that have been confirmed by Square Enix about the game yet, so we’re sticking them strictly in the rumor category for now. It could very well be that the information has been mixed up with the similarly named Kingdom Hearts 3D, released on PS4 in 2016. This game had a playable Riku as well as a Fantasia-themed world.
It may be, however, that the information is accurate. Game director, Nomura, did tell IGN in July 2017 that the team was considering putting another playable character into the game. He just didn’t state that it was Riku.
Regardless, we’re hoping to see some more Kingdom Hearts 3 information (perhaps even a release date) at the D23 in Japan, taking place in February 2018.
Nintendo Switch?
In a recent interview Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda told Nikkei (via MyNintendo) that the company is focusing on bringing more of its current and future titles to Nintendo’s new console, the Nintendo Switch.
Though Matsuda makes no direct reference to bringing Kingdom Hearts 3 to the Switch, it does suggest that if such a move is feasible and the hardware limitations aren’t too great, Square Enix will make it happen.
