The idea of Din dying but still being kept alive via Grogu's Fierce Attachment and Force Shenanigans has been rattling around in my brain for weeks :) It's right next to the other idea about Grogu dying, coming back as a force ghost, and encouraging Din to adopt extremely unhealthy coping mechanisms up to and including kidnapping and resurrection.
