The breathing? Why was there breathing? And why was it so close to you? He must be deeper into his demon form, you think.

He stretches out with all six limbs, shaking a bit before he settles back down. His massive arm settles around your frame and pulls you in tight. Even his wing drapes over you to keep you right where you are. You peek up from being buried in his chest and notice that for some reason, his eyes are still open. The moment he hears his name, you realize what was happening. His third eyelid slides open and you are treated to the full view of his shining golden eyes as he wakes up. He doesn't pull the blankets tight like you would expect, instead arranging them protectively around your body. "Dia? I'm not going anywhere."
