We should have been able to see the dream of Briar Valley continuing to survive as a great power.

Silver: Malleus-sama said he’s monitoring our dreams and that…… He’s governing over our dreams…

If he is aware of our presence, I wouldn't be surprised if he eliminates us right away, like what he did when we were in Sebek’s dream.

Sebek: Hm……

This is merely a prediction, but…

Perhaps Malleus-sama is unable to monitor Lilia-sama’s dream for some reason.

Silver: It’s possible. I wish I could somehow get Father to wake up from his dream to ask for his help……

anon, I am so sorry and I mean this in the best way, but I do think episode 5 is the absolute funniest place to have stopped following Twst because shit starts escalating SO fast after that. episode 6 literally starts with a secret government shadow agency breaking down our doors and kidnapping students. zero to a million instantly.

and like...that's not even the zaniest thing so far? Ortho's hacked into the collective human unconscious. there's time travel (sort of). "Crowley might be Malleus' long-lost father" is a serious theory. if you'd told me any of this back pre-episode 6, I would have asked for the link to this unbelievable but highly intriguing fanfic.

I have to wonder, but I don’t think the game is over after we defeat Malleus. Many suspect us as Yuu will be the next overblot which I do not doubt. But what if it’s either the dark mirror or Crowley himself?

For example, Crowley never tried to stop the overblots meaning he must have some bad motive behind it. Not to mention the dark mirror?

Take a look at this

The dark mirror has Maleficent’s insignia in between his eyes as you can see the horns.

What if the dark mirror is Malleona’s soul trapped inside the mirror like others are suspecting? Since Malleona is the descendant of evil aka Maleficent. It’s possibly that Crowley does remember Malleona but is playing the dumb bird that he is. What if Crowley plans to resurrect Malleona and that he is the next to overblot when we stop him! Crowley might also be using those who overblot as a human sacrifice. Human sacrifice are known to resurrect the dead in many horror films. So it’s possibly Crowley intentionally made the 7 to overblot to resurrect Malleona. In the first overblot, he didnt really look like wanted to save Riddle the first time.

If he is trying to sacrifice people, then that means he would even kill his own son if he is related to Malleus. Remember when Idia mentioned in chapter6 that he wondered if someone is intentionally making these overblot happening?

Malleona may have known of his plan. Therefore created Grim as Grim wanted to get inside the college but never knew why! Remember, Grim is an unknown monster species. Most likely he was created by magic! Plus if she is the dark mirror? She must’ve brought Yuu to stop Crowley’s plan all together with Grim. To her, Yuu is the key to stop the overblots and to get Grim to destroy Crowley’s plan.

Since Yuu was the one who took Grim in. This further makes Malleona’s plan to stop Crowley. Malleona most likely doesn’t want to be resurrected as to reason why she brought Yuu and Grim.

If what I’m thinking is correct? Crowley is a dead man!

Part 1 (beginning 10 Mar):

Self-study: Earn mats, honey, and other lesson rewards without spending AP in a new idle lesson. Additional cumulative missions have been added to the missions tab for the self-study lessons. A student taking self-study can take other lessons, but not another self-study course. Crowley, Crewel, Trein, Rollo, and Fellow are not available for this session

Material Conversion: Spend Madol/Thaumarks to convert mats, but only within the same color. Find the menu for this on the Settings page on the Home Screen, then select Conversion. Materials can be converted in either direction of rarity.

Event Recall: Previous events that have already gone to the Event Recall that had voiceovers on the title, or character voice lines for the event have been added to the Event Recall for the following events: Scary Monsters I and II, Glorious Masquerade, Playful Land, Sam's New Year Sale (2022-2024). There will be new Gift Items available in the Guest Room.

Calm before the storm... I just hope whatever’s next isn’t even LONGER than book 7 💦

At this point, there's no official confirmation for what's coming after (what I expect to be) book 8. However, I've been seeing a lot of... doomposts worrying that Twst will shut down as soon as the main story wraps up, which is just silly and plain untrue. (It makes me wonder if such comments are coming from people who are new to gacha games? Or if these comments are being made while the poster is running very high on emotions and not thinking rationally.) Let me tell you: that's NOT how any of this works. Gacha games DON'T terminate service as soon as they finish their main story. Live service games will generally only shut down if they have insufficient interest or revenue to keep it going, and that is most likely not the case for Twst seeing as how it has tons of merch, as well as several ongoing adaptations (anime, manga, light novel, etc.). Like, I'm pretty certain Twst regularly brings in several million yen a MONTH. One way or another, there will almost certainly be a follow-up to this first "arc" of the main story.

How long do we have to wait for the next main story update? No clue. It has varied a ton for Twst; there's no set schedule. For reference, here's the amount of time we had to wait between the end of a book + the start of the next book (you'll notice that the time spent waiting between each book drop increases/correlates with the length of the book):

books 1 + 2 end and book 3 start - 12 days

book 3 end and book 4 start - 39 days

book 4 end and book 5 start - 122 days

book 5 end and book 6 start - 337 days

book 6 end and book 7 start - 469 days

It's not a line said in the update, it's just a popular meme format. Not sure about where exactly it comes from, but all you do is say "This truly is/was our [insert title of the media here]."

I believe it's meant to be a dry way of commenting on endings in the same way you might go, "Yup, that just happened" or, "Maybe the real treasure was the friends we made along the way."

Of the two new outfits for the Diasomnia boys, I think I definitely prefer Silver's look! It's simple but very classic and regal. I love how the collar of the cape is half folded down and the pattern on the inner lining...

Malleus looks cool too, but personally I find it a little overdesigned, even when compared to the outfit Maleanor had. My eyes are pulled to his horn ornaments and jutting shoulder pads, or the thorns that snake around his boots. I get lost in all the stuff in the middle... What really bugs me out though is that... V-neck... for his top. It looks weird on Malleus because I'm so used to seeing his skin there covered up. sadbhliabsdabsp Draconia cleavage jumpscare to cap off book 7 💀

Idia's ideal type would be...

Someone who is a bit of a geek. Idia is a geek, there's no denying that. And while he'd be able to get along with someone who isn't, he'd feel seen by a fellow geek. Who else will be able to understand his passion for his games? Or for making Ortho the most elaborate gears?

Someone who takes things slow. Being a shut-in for so long, he hasn't had a lot of social interactions, so everything regarding relationships is very new to him. But don't be mistaken, Idia is not a genius for nothing: If you nudge him in the right direction and encourage him on the way, he'll unlock your secret ending for sure.

Someone who doesn't make fun of him for his anxiety. Idia's anxiety makes him jumpy, stuttery and, quite frankly, a mess. To put salt on the wound, enough people have mocked him for his need to use his tablet in order to communicate sometimes. He's used to it, really. But if you show him that he shouldn't be used to it and hold his hand, he'll be flabbergasted: but it will eventually turn into gratitude.

Someone who doesn't resent his responsibility. Idia has a lot on his shoulders: every day he has to carry his grief, his responsibility, the Island of Woe and STYX's expectations for the future. It's a great burden, but while he doesn't expect people to just accept his circumstances, he'll be surprised is you sneak yourself next to him to lift some of that weight.

Ortho's ideal friend would be...

Someone who would play games with him all night. Not unlike his brother, Ortho's had very limited experience with social life, but he's still hopeful that there's someone out there who is willing to play the Twisted Wonderland equivalent of Mario Kart for a whole night, while they playfully accuse him of cheating on the game.

Someone who doesn't deny his help. He has various add-ons that were originally added for Idia, but Ortho's search for being helpful is not limited to his brother. If you, for example, get a scratch and don't immediately ask for his help, you'll get hit with his puppy eyes (also installed by Idia).

Someone who is curious about him. Ortho is used to the curious eyes of other people when they see him in various gears, but no one really asks him about them outside of the Ignihyde members, and even thwy have their restraints. If you want to ask, just do it. He'll use it as an opportunity to brag about his brother's amazing work. He won't expect the questions you ask about him to get to know him better, however, but he'll still amswer happily.

Someone who is willing to befriend his brother. In all of his short life, he's always been seen as a package deal with his brother. While he's still figuring out who he is outside of his aid to his brother, he will draw the line at someone who won't try to get along with Idia too. He can't fault an incompatibility of personalities, but effort matters to him.

!! CHAPTER 7 / DIASOMNIA ARC SPOILERS !!

First dream we land is Epel's dream, let's get going:

So the gang land in a street in NRC where the Great Seven are located. Idia assists the group through his tablet and everything seems to be normal, but they still don't know whose dream this is.

Until we see this

(They really made the memes a reality in the worst way possible (affectionate). i love and hate twst for this lmao)

Let's just say, the entire group is absolutely traumatized. Like legit Grim said Buff Epel is taller than Jack 😭. Even Sebek was scared when he called for him. Then Grim asked Epel if he was supposed to be shorter, but Epel doesn't remember much. All that he knows was that when he came to NRC, he was already taller than most of the students.

Sebek also remembers that Epel is shorter than Lilia, in which Epel remembers that he admired how he play an active role together with Malleus even though he's a short king. Then, he remembers Lilia's advice "Mage strength isn't related to their size".

Grim's trying to make Epel remember everything from the events of Book 6, where he was the first one to save him. Grim thought that Epel was cool at that time.

That's when Epel learns the truth, that accepting himself for his strengths and role as the poison apple is what made him stronger. This causes Epel to wake up, but because of that fakes of Rook and Vil proceed to try and stop them. But before they fight, the gang has to do their magical girl transformation (I keep giggling at this)

Epel manages to trap the fakes with "Sleep Kiss". Once they were done, Epel tells the gang that they showed his uncool side. But Silver disagrees, saying that only people who are strog-willed can fight the darkness. Gotta mention that Epel is also horrified of his buff version. Sebek says that he thought Epel was feeble, but he could fight; and he managed to develop his unique magic. Epel said that success rate was around 70-80% but he managed to do it, and Sebek got a bit jealous. Of course, Silver teased Sebek not to lose and Sebek doesn't need to be told twice about that.

So we get an update of the plan from Idia, where he said that involves creating fake NPCs to fool Malleus into thinking that dreamer is still there but in reality they have already escaped. So, Idia sends out invitations to anyone who could possible be "awake"

In the end, Epel tags a long with us as we go to another dream...

Ok finished Epel's dream today, I'll be doing Rook's dream and Vil's dream tomorrow since it's already late in the evening as I'm writing this so yeah have fun guys ❤️❤️❤️

I have a new chaotic Azul x Reader fic that’s hilarious. Let’s just say the Octavinelle trio came up with a potion that turns humans into merpeople. Floyd, being Floyd, kidnaps you to try the concoction. He thinks your going to turn into a half shrimp. Azul and Jade think you’ll be generic merperson. Nobody’s correct and you turn into an octopus merperson like Azul. Then, Azul has to teach you how to use your limbs. It develops from there. It’s hilarious. Also the Clown Crew (ADeuce and Grim) are looking for you and panicking.

I’m writing a Deuce x Reader in a Royalty setting. I took inspo from @solxamber’s isekai series. It’s my favorite twst series. Deuce is a knight because of course he would be. He doesn’t recognize you, the heir to the Kingdom of Ramshackle, and asks if your lost. You’re looking for a new bodyguard and you want to test this guy. Deuce passes the tests and becomes your personal protector.
