I was looking at my AO3 trying, once more to finish my AT mini series when I realized its been a year to the day I published where is it now, The glory and the dream? nicknamed Glory. Its a story I loved writing and have reread it multiple times and I got a bit emo thinking about that story - about that world.

I wrote a DGM fic in college over the course of a year that started as a speculative fic on past events and became an all out AU once more details came out in the manga. But I became so much more attached to my version of the characters and the story that it became hard to connect with the canon version. I feel something similar with BNHA and Road Not Taken verse. I love those characters who I took from early canon and molded and aged into essentially my own characters. I still get weepy reading rise up and writing glory kind of helped me deal with a bit of anxiety of turning 30.

This whole verse means a lot to me even though it was far from popular even when BNHA was dominating AO3 and is now so far out of vogue people aren't really reading stories much less wild AUs. But it lives close to my heart and is one of the things I think of when BNHA in any context is brought up. I will write the finale fic, it's lived in my brain fully formed since the last few chapters of TLWA. I will write it and it will hurt and I will sob and it will be one of the most satisfying stories because it will finally exit my brain and enter the page. And it will be utterly meaningless to 99.99% of the population and I will not give a damn because as much as I love sharing my stories and getting feedback, these stories are Mine. TLWA and it's sequels more than most.

D Gray Man Ficlet

Summary: There are a number of quirks to Tyki’s family. ��Lavi has been warned and he really should have listened--maybe then he wouldn��t find himself being snuggled to death. (aka Wisely really likes to cuddle)

Author’s Notes: Hoo boy, we need some background on this one.  So, @haloud dragged me down into D. Gray Man hell.  Both of us have a severe lack of self-control and a burning love for College AU’s and what started as a casual discussion then morphed into several Google Doc’s and well.  Ta-da~

S’all good though, I dragged haloud down into Lucky Pair hell.  This is why you don’t invite me into your fandoms, kiddos. 

But yes, moving on!  In College AU, Lavi is an overworked and underappreciated freshman Elementary Education major who happens to end up in a class where Tyki is the unfairly hot--actually, just unfair in every way--TA.  Tyki’s also in charge of taking care of his elementary school niece, his high school freshmen cousins (Jasdero and Devit), and his high school senior nephew.  Lavi may or may not have a huge crush on him; he’s working on that.

Aaaaand...well, there’s a bunch more but that’s all that you need to know for this!  But please, feel free to come ask me and haloud more about the AU, god knows we love to yell about it.

It’s raining outside and it’s way too cold, yet Tyki still won’t let him enter the house without giving a whole spiel first.  Lavi’s starting to get the very strong suspicion that the older man just likes the sound of his own voice.

“Listen to me,” his TA says, looking the most serious Lavi has ever seen him.  “I live with four little monsters, all of them with their own unique little quirks that drive me up the wall.  And their favorite thing is to mess with fresh meat.”

“You’re being dramatic,” Lavi tells him, but Tyki shakes his head.

“If anything, I’m not being dramatic enough,” he says grimly.  “I’m serious about this, Red.  They look like angels and act like devils the second you lower your guard.”

“Isn’t the oldest only 18?”  Lavi snorts.  “And you want me to believe that they walk all over you?”

Tyki lets out a dramatic sigh.  “Alright, fine.  I’ll give you the run down, and if you don’t believe me, then it’s on you when one of the little gremlins attacks.”

“Fine, fine--just make it fast.”  Anything to get out of the cold and wet.

“Jas and Devi, the twins, are going to try to pull some stupid prank on you.  They’re mainly harmless, but usually a bitch to clean up after.”

“Twins are pranksters, got it,” Lavi echos back.

“Road….I’ll be honest, I have no idea what trick Road will try to pull.  You never really know with her, you just have to stay on your toes.”

“Your niece is the Wildcard, okay.  And the fourth one?”

“Wisely?”  Tyki grins at him.  “Actually, Wisely isn’t that big of a pain, just a bit odd.  He likes to cuddle.”

“He...cuddles?”

“Yeah,” Tyki shrugs.  “He actually gets really offended when you refuse to hug him; it’d be funny if he didn’t look like he was gonna burst into tears at any moment.”  He chuckles to himself, and Lavi takes that moment to wonder what it is he’s getting himself into.  “But yeah, common space in our house is fair ground for Wisely to cuddle up to you, and he doesn’t give a fuck if your limbs fall asleep or not--you cuddle until he decides it’s time to move.”

“Pranksters, a Wildcard, and a cuddler,” Lavi repeats diligently.  “I got it.  Even ready to take a quiz on it, if you want.”

“Yeah, like you need another 90 on the gradebook,” Tyki says with a wicked grin, and even though Lavi knows he’s only doing it to get a reaction, he still rises to the occasion.

“That’s because you are an asshole,” he snarls, taking a swipe at Tyki.  His TA laughs and steps into the entryway, just out of reach and Lavi has no choice but to follow him.  Tyki’s warnings are pushed to the back of his thoughts, and Lavi files it under the ‘probably never going to need’ part of his brain.

As it turns out, he’s dead wrong on this, and Tyki, the insufferable jackass, is right yet again.

He finds this out one evening when he’s waiting for Tyki to come home from shopping with Road, and he’s been left unattended in the other’s house.  Lavi’s sprawled out on the couch in the living room, his phone in his hand, mindlessly scrolling, when the floor creaks and he’s suddenly aware of another person’s presence.  He glances up to see Wisely standing a few feet away, a thick, cream-colored blanket draped over his head and a textbook in his hands.

“Hey,” Lavi greets, dipping his head down slightly.  Wisely blinks at him.  “Did you need something?”

Instead of answering, Wisely shuffles over to the couch, crawling onto it, his blanket trailing behind him like a cape.  “What the..?!”  Lavi yelps, as suddenly there’s an eighteen year old sprawled out on top of his chest, nestling down like a cat.  The textbook somehow ends up on Lavi’s chest and Wisely lays his head down neatly on folded arms just above Lavi’s sternum.  After a moment's pause, Wisely tugs on the blanket over his back so that it settles properly around the two of them.

“Um.”  It’s really all the speech Lavi is capable of right now.  Wisely’s eyes flicker up to his face, then to his hands which are thrown up in the air.  Lavi doesn’t even remember moving to make room for the teenager.  When Wisely’s eyes flicker from the hands to his face with pointed intensity, Lavi takes the hint and slowly lowers his hands back down so that they’re resting on the others back.

The teenager hums, evidently pleased, and turns his attention back to his textbook.

Wisely is a cuddler.  Tyki’s warning echoes in his brain, and Lavi grits his teeth.  He’s about to shove the other off of him when the second part of Tyki’s warning comes back to him.  He gets real upset when people don’t want to hug him.  A string of curses runs across his brain, and for a moment he just seethes in silence.

He’s trapped beneath a snuggly eighteen year old that he can’t toss off of him because he can’t stand to make kids cry.  The world just isn’t fair sometimes.

Although, it’s not like Wisely’s heavy or anything.  Actually, Lavi barely feels any pressure on his chest and before he can think it through he runs his hands down the other’s back, to see if he can feel ribs.  Wisely huffs a quiet laugh but otherwise doesn’t move, still very focused on his textbook.  The teen is pleasantly warm as well, and the blanket he brought with him is soft--perfect to cuddle with, if he’s being honest with himself.

Lavi settles back against the couch, bringing his hands to rest on top of Wisely’s shoulders and slowly turning the situation over in his mind.  Of all of Tyki’s wards, he’s certainly the most low maintenance.  Lavi would take a cuddler over a prankster any day of the week.  And it’s not like Wisely is hurting anyone; the teen seems perfectly content to do his homework quietly, even if he is presently using Lavi as a pillow.

Sighing, Lavi resigns himself to his situation.  It’s not like he was doing anything of importance; he can browse on his phone just as easily with a leech of a teen on him as he could alone.  Wisely doesn’t even flinch when Lavi props his phone up on his shoulder, tilting it so that it’s resting against the side of his temple.  The two of them settle into a comfortable silence that’s only punctuated by the occasional buzz of Lavi’s phone or the rustle of pages as Wisely flips through his book.

That’s how Tyki finds them when he gets home with Road.  “We’re ho--” he starts to call out, only to cut himself off when he lays eyes on the two of them.  “Oh for god's sake Wisely, this is why we can’t have people over!”  Road giggles at the exasperation in her uncle’s tone.

Wisely finally shows signs of life, propping himself up on his elbows to stare wide eyed at his uncle.  Lavi takes the opportunity to shift his legs, which he lost feeling of around ten minutes ago.

“Down.”  Tyki commands, jerking his head sharply at the ground.  “Down you animal, let the poor man go.”  To Road, he adds, “And you, you adorable little munchkin, go put the groceries away.”

Road skips off to do just so at the same moment that Wisely lets out a whine or protest that makes Lavi smile involuntarily.  “He can stay,” he says diplomatically, relishing in how Wisely turns to him with bright, hopeful eyes.  “He’s not bothering me any and he’s warm.”

“You sure?”  Tyki asks, moving closer to them.  Wisely sends him a reproachful glare that is duly ignored.  “You don’t have to be nice just because he’s cute.”

“I’m adorable,” Wisley mutters petulantly, and those are the first words Lavi’s heard him speak since he came out to the den.  He chuckles, patting the teenager on the head affectionately.

“You are,” Lavi reassures him, and is rewarded with Wisely snuggling down firmly against him.  Glancing over the teen's head, he holds his arms out to Tyki.  “Come.  Join us in the cuddle huddle.”

“Cuddle huddle?  Really, Red?”

“I wanna join!”  Road, who’s just returned from putting away the groceries, launches herself onto the couch, landing on top of her adopted brother.  Both Wisely and Lavi grunt at the impact, and Tyki fixes Road with a warning look.  “C’mon uncle, come cuddle with us!”  She urges, completely ignoring the look.

With a sigh, Tyki pinches the bridge of his nose.  “Hooligans, the lot of you,” he mumbles, even as he’s nudging legs aside so that he has room to sit down on the sofa.  “Adorable, cuddly, hooligans.”  

“No complaining in the cuddle huddle,” Lavi says, jabbing his toes into Tyki’s ribs.  His TA catches his foot mid jab, tossing it down on his lap.  He holds an arm out to Road, who eagerly presses herself against his side.

It’s peaceful and nice for all of five minutes until a loud bang from upstairs reminds them that there are two members of the rag-tag family unaccounted for.  Lavi doesn’t have to be a mind reader to tell that Tyki is seriously debating if it’s really worth it to get up and investigate the source of the noise.  He makes the decision for the older man.

“Alright,” he declares, nudging Wisely in the side gently, “Everyone up.  We’re bringing the cuddle huddle to the twins.”

It takes several long moments for everyone to get upright, and even then Tyki’s stuck cradling Wisely as they make their way towards the stairs.  Road slips her hand into his, leading the way and Tyki follows close behind with Wisely yawning in his arms, and Lavi has to smile at the absurdity of the family he’s found himself.

Kanda:

Business major and art minor (idk this just works)

He’s good with excel and everyone else uses his Microsoft office subscription

He hates it

Prefers art but thinks business is good to know.

Constantly doing comms and has a Instagram account of 200k where he posts his art

Has Lavi and Allen blocked because they pretend to be his long lost children in the comments one too many damn times

Allen:

Has a GED and gets into nutrition science.

Idk what major nutrition is so I lean toward bio / physical education major??

He’s gonna end up working with kids afterwards he knows that much.

He PROCRASTINATES. Till the very last second.

Can charm the professors into giving him extensions and once a whole up letter grade. (Based off rumors at least).

Would have a coffee addiction if he didn’t room with Kanda and Kanda put a hard no rule on caffeine.

Lavi sneaks him some sometimes.

Lenalee:

FASHION major and dance minor idc idc idc. She’s doing it.

Very busy cause she also volunteers at Komui’s clinic and also donates the clothes she makes all the time.

Lavi helps her with her schulde and sighs everytime he sees it.

“You can either sleep on the weekends or eat but not both.”

She somehow does it?? And gets good grades?

For relaxation she binge watches YouTube and bakes and yes- Allen is the taste tester.

Komui cries cause he’s just so fucking proud.

Writing Projects - Masterlist

It’s been a while since I posted an update on ongoing projects (most recently I made a post here), and I thought I’d make an updated list since I have several things in the works right now. 

In terms of fanfiction (all being for DGM things), my main priority and ongoing project is Beneath the Moonlight, but I have a list of things I have either started plotting/dabbling with, and thought it’d be nice to have them listed somewhere. I’ve also noted things as high priority, medium priority, or low priority to give people an idea of where they are in terms of how badly I want to write them. ѩ - Are there any characters that you love, but simply cannot role play?

Most of the time, when I really love a character and get an idea, I end up rping them. In that sense, I cannot rp a character if it’s just to rp the character, for canon ones. Can be a small thing I add, can be bigger, but I need this little something. I also do tend to have a big love for one character in a canon, I can love more characters and generally I do appreciate more, but I tend to. Fixate hard on one. In DGM case, Nea slowly came as a second muse, but it might also be how Allen&Nea for a whole in my portrayal.

There is a character I love but is hard rp rp, however it’s not a complete I can’t rp. I’m still struggling a bit to get a grasp on my Wei Wuxian, which is a bit amusing since I’m doing a good enough job so far with my fanfic. Then again, in my fic, I had to take into account things, while my rp muse is meant to be canon Wei Wuxian dealing with not-so-canon things; so I do have to start up with getting a good grip on him. I love WWX so much; but dear lord, almost all aspect of him are kind of new for me to write, or at least their combo in a single person.

Җ - What’s your greatest source of inspiration when it comes to role playing?

As mentionned above, 99% of the time the initial spark for rp muses will be ideas for something that’s generally canon au. Allen (and Nea) was the spirit idea, WWX was the dgm elements in background idea; my first OC was the idea of a guardian spirit for the main that expanded into its proper original stuff; and so on.

As for continuing rps, it comes in a mix of the thrill of new things, the thrill of exploring how it’s going, the thrill of anything plotted/discussed, and sheer love of the muse. Sometimes exploring a specific interest (currently, Allen is very much heart-eye with exploring MDZS, as noticed I bet :’)).

And to be honest: more than half of the ideas I’ll get are just, random. Or like... Anyone who brainstormed with me might know what I mean. Just poke once the beast my mind, and poof you might snowball into more things. Sometimes it’s almost umprompted, like I’m pretty sure the idea for my WWX just. came from a stray thought of WWX would make a good Noah. And by good Noah I totally meant the duality he’d have to deal with.

⨌ - If you ever had the opportunity to clone yourself, would you?

Probably, I think. It’s kind of like having a twin. Might depend on like, would the clone become their own person? Or develop some unique things? It’s one thing to have an almost you that also has their own things (like a twin), and it’s another to have a second you that’ll think and want the same thing. Like I guess double the help at home and to write, lifelong friend, hopefully it means a good gose of same wavelength and chemestry. I think both version of me would just, consider both of us “Chris” (and not like, original and clone). Double the love for friends, possibly only now what if we’d both fall for the same person (if we do fall).

I guess I would honestly just want my close to be able to be their own person, but hey, I’d probably have fun with myself figuring out differences/uniqueness. Like different nail paint. Or who knows, brainstorming might be fun. Very spazzy but fun. I guess I just can’t really see a con, so. Probably yeah I would.

ℳ - Do you think you have a good handwriting?

.... Depends on the day XD

If I take the time to, yeah I’ll have a good handwriting. But. I need to take the time. I can write fast but my handwriting goes off the window. I don’t have an average writing speed because if I don’t focus on slow, my hand just do its own thing and writer faster as I go. That’s very much remains of college time. And probably that I don’t spent much time writing by hand now.

But yeah, my handwriting can be good if I try to make it good, otherwise it’s luck of the day. Sometimes it’s still decent. Sometimes I literally nee to pause and rewrite a word because I know I won’t be able to read it later.

B: Any of your stories inspired by personal experience?

I mean… as much as any story draws from real life experiences? There’s no specific fic that I’ve written that has been a shot for shot remake of something that has happened to me. But I definitely draw from my life when it comes to writing.

Relationships dynamics, specific AUs (college AUs, especially), and AUs with specific locations, (I’m thinking of Sea Glass in particular). All of these things are at least partially drawn from my life experience. But nothing is ever exactly as I’d experienced it.

C: What character do you identify with most?

Specifically for DGM, I heavily identify with Lavi. But Miranda is also a character I find myself relating to often.

1. How did you come up with your username and what does it mean?

I’m snowdrops on ao3 - I was having a bleach phase and had an obsession with the thirteenth division of the gotei 13 when i created my ao3 account. the snowdrop is the thirteenth division’s insignia! it signifies hope.

2. Which fanfic of yours has the most feedback? (bookmarks/subscriptions/hits/kudos).

bookmarks:  red strings (dgm, lavilena + yullen, reincarnation au, 9.2k words) 

subscriptions: wandering spirits online (bleach x sao x log horizon, vr mmorpg au, 4k words, abandoned multichap) || the fic with the next highest number of subscriptions is red strings, which is a oneshot. in fact, i only write oneshots, with the exception of a couple of story collections, so why i have fic subscriptions at all is a true mystery.

kudos: herding cats (bnha, todobaku, neighbours au, 1.5k words)

hits: red strings (dgm, lavilena + yullen, reincarnation au, 9.2k words)

i’d like to point out here that this is probably not an accurate representation of the quality of my fics because red strings has been up on ao3 since 2014, and some of my newer fics have much higher pick-up rates relative to time elapsed

friends with benefits with feelings au, probably? though I don’t really care if people judge me for what I’m writing, so I guess it’s my own personal hesitance that’s stopping me from actually writing it. 

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at? Writing certain scenes or genres, replying to comments, updating better, etc.

one thing that I learnt from creative writing class is that I suck at writing visual descriptions, so I wanna work on that. I also want to be better at replying comments!!!

I write them down on my phone, but more often than not they remain in that state lol

nope, and I’m not sure I’d be able to. I’m incredibly picky and individualistic when I’m writing.

Gunny told me that lots of writers were posting fic on ao3 too, besides ffn, so I looked it up and started hanging around

hmm there are fic writers who made me want to write like them - themorninglark, asofthaven, carafin, among others - and also book authors - tolkien, cassandra clare, neil gaiman.

keep writing. a little every day builds up to a lot in a year.

21. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

it... depends on the story. I’ve plotted every single one of my Timeless AU fics thus far, as well as my longer fics, but for shorter fics I tend to let the story go where it wants to 

22. Have you ever gotten a bad comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

mmm I got flamed on one of my crossover fics when I was starting out on ffn, but it was only the one time. I was rly young back then so I shall not reveal what I did lmao

smut, and physical scenes in general. writing them makes me uncomfortable

I’ve kept the username over the years because I like how it sounds :3

I continue to do everything but actual work or finish fics that have sat in my docs for months now, and instead, choose focus on sinking ever further into D. Gray Man hell. It’s Wisely’s birthday, and I am under contractual obligation to provide an un-beta’d fic for my son.  Note that this takes place in an AU, which you can read a bit more about here.

Summary:  It’s Wisely’s birthday and Lavi is baking him a cake.  Tyki is ‘helping.’

“If you try to lick that spoon one more time,” Lavi begins, “Then I am going to tell Jasdero and Devit where you hid their ‘Are You Nasty’ shorts.”

“You wouldn’t dare.”  Tyki looks scandalized by the very thought, his tongue sticking halfway out of his mouth, dangerously close to the spoon in his hand.

“Try me.”

For a long moment, both of them stare at each other, neither willing to surrender.  It’s Tyki who relents first, with a long-suffering groan.  He hands the spoon back over to Lavi, who accepts it with far too much smugness for the other’s taste.  “I’m dating a bully.”

“My heart bleeds for you,”  Lavi says.  With the spoon safely recovered, he turns his attention back to the cake sitting in front of him, dipping his knife into the tub of frosting nearby.  “You and your inability to cook.”

“A big ass bully,” Tyki continues, frowning at Lavi.  “One who makes fun of my cooking skills even after he promised not to.”

“I’m not making fun of your skills,” Lavi points out.  “I’m making fun of your lack of skills; there’s a difference.”

“Give me that spoon back.”  Tyki is suddenly right behind him, arm snaking around him in a vain attempt to reclaim the silverware.  “I need something to soothe all the pain.”  His efforts earn him an elbow to the ribs and a hiss from Lavi.

“If you would behave for five minutes, then this cake would be done and you can lick all the damn utensils clean!”

“Do you promise?”  Tyki’s eyes are wide open and shining and Lavi thinks maybe he should have lead with this promise instead of trying to strong arm his idiot of a boyfriend into anything.

“Yes!  Now sit!”  Obediently, Tyki reclaims his spot at the kitchen table, watching quietly as Lavi returns yet again to his mission of frosting the cake in front of him.  Blowing out a huff of air, he picks up his knife and begins to carefully spread vanilla frosting around the layers of the cake.

“Thank you for doing this,” Tyki says quietly, and Lavi nearly jumps out of his skin.  He looks back only to see Tyki staring intensely at him, a serious look on his face.  “Wisely’s a good kid; he’s quiet and doesn’t cause a whole lot of trouble.  He deserves to have a real cake on his birthday.”

“Well,” Lavi says, swallowing past the lump in his throat.  “I couldn't let him suffer through another store bought cake just because no one in this house can cook.”

“I know,” Tyki agrees.  “And I’m thankful for it.  And I’m sure he’s going to love it as well.”

“I’m glad then,” Lavi says, slowly rotating the cake to make sure he hasn’t missed a spot.  He hesitates a moment, turning something over in his mind before groaning.  “Alright, okay, c’mere--you can lick the spoon right now, but if you mess up this cake, I’ll kill you.”

Tyki chuckles as he stands back up, accepting the spoon that Lavi thrusts at him.  “Thank you, love,” he says, and Lavi can feel himself turning red.  “Do you need me to help with anything?”  Tyki offers, and Lavi waves the knife at him threateningly.

“No.”  He says firmly.  “You stay far away from this cake, it’s done nothing wrong to you.  Give it a chance to live.”  Tyki laughs and presses a quick kiss to his cheek, dancing away with his spoon before Lavi can recover enough to take a swipe at him.

“Fair enough,” the older man says with a grin.  “I’m going to go pick up the kids then, and we’ll eat when we get home?”  He poses it as a question, and Lavi nods.  

“Sounds like a plan.  Now go cause trouble somewhere else and let me work in peace.”  The door opens and closes as Tyki leaves, and it takes Lavi much longer than he’d care to admit that his dumb boyfriend has taken the batter-covered spoon with him.

“Thank you, Lavi,” Wisely says, long after the cake has been devoured and Tyki’s other wards have headed upstairs.  There’s a smear of vanilla frosting on the side on his cheek and a milk mustache on his upper lip, but he’s smiling brightly.  “I really liked my cake.”

“You’re welcome,” Lavi says.  “I was happy to make it for you.”

Wisely moves from his chair so fast that Lavi can’t track the movement, at least not until there’s an eighteen-year-old hugging him tightly.  “It was really tasty,” Wisely mumbles into Lavi’s chest.  “Much better than anything Tyki’s ever cooked.”

“Alright you little brat,” Tyki cuts in, tugging his nephew off of Lavi.  “It may be your birthday right now, but don’t think I’ll forget about this by tomorrow.”  He ruffles Wisely’s hair, which takes some of the bite of his threat.  “Now go wash your face, you’re a mess.”

“Happy birthday Wisely!”  Lavi calls after the teen as he heads off to obey his uncle.

He doesn’t tell Tyki that the joy in Wisely’s eyes and his genuine appreciation had made the whole ordeal worthwhile.  It’s not like his boyfriend doesn’t already know it, anyhow.

Headcanons

Suitemates AU For DGM Fanworks Initiative Week Day 4: Alternative Universe (I'm late with this as I'm with everything in my life.. HA).

Allen, Lavi, Lenalee and Kanda go to the same college and live in an apartment together. Kanda and Lenalee have their own rooms while Allen and Lavi share a double.

Lena was the last to move in. Komui went mental when he found out that she would be living with three guys and begged her to go back home with him. But she smiled very sweetly and told him ‘I will be staying here for the rest of the year, dear brother’. Lenalee could be stubborn when she wants to.

For the first few weeks, Komui was a constant shadow looming around and in their apartment. Lord knows how he got in. Lenalee placed a ban on him from entering the building for a month. A pitiful wail could be heard in a distance.

When asked who spends the longest time in the bathroom, all of them pointed their figures at Kanda. Some say that he performs a ritual or sacrifices a rabbit or two while in there. No fucking soap could explain that hair.

Kanda is also the one who uses the kitchen the most. Lavi can also cook well but the kitchen tends to look like a war zone after he’s done. Lenalee is more of a baking person and Allen should be kept out of the kitchen for obvious reasons.

They keep a magnetic board on the fridge for grocery list but Lavi often ends up using it to write shit like ‘Roses are red, Violets are blue, Yu I borrowed some of your coffee’ or ‘Did you guys know that strawberry is not actually a berry, but a banana is!?.’ On occasions he would write something useful like ‘the science department- conference at 1 - FREE PIZZA!’.

Allen takes up all the space in the fridge. He sometimes has to rearrange the things in there so they would fit. (‘Where the hell are my eggs Moyashi!’ ‘They’re right behind the milk and the pineapple. Look before you start shouting at me, jerk Kanda!’)

The smoke detectors in their apartment complex are overly sensitive and there are often false alarms. Sometimes at 3 in the morning, Lord knows what people are doing then. So when the fire alarm goes off, everyone knows exactly what to do: go camp out in Kanda’s room because it’s the only place where the the blaring sound won’t burst their eardrums. ‘What the fuck are you all doing in here?!’ (This is a bad example. Do not try this at home folks:))

Allen is the one who forgets his keys the most. And it pains him so to have to call Kanda and ask to be let in. Kanda would hang up even before Allen was done with what he was saying. (‘Rude!’) He still looked pissed as always when he came to open up but Allen swore that the bastard also looked very smug.
