Thomas and Guy

Maybe it’s just me but....

when Guy was worrying about his career folding, and Thomas says, ‘Your career won’t fold’, I wasn’t seeing that as Thomas just being reassuring. I think we’ve got a little bit of evil (affectionate) genius Thomas from the earlier seasons seeping in. He is going to Hollywood and he is going to make a success of it. He will not allow Guy’s career to fold.

Two ways that could turn out. Either this is their way of secretly flirting in public, or Dex starts writing the poem and then realizes that he does have feelings for Sparrow the more he writes. ... Then he ends up filling half a notebook with poems about how Sparrow makes him feel (frustrated, intrigued, excited, annoyed, amused, brave, determined, motivated). Does he give Sparrow the notebook, or does Sparrow look over his shoulder to see it?

I am a recent convert of Dexrow.

Hello! I’m very well, thanks for asking. That’s Dexter/Sparrow, yes? All right, then!

How did the relationship start?

Sparrow noticed Dex first, and being Sparrow started bugging him all the damn time because that is, of course, the best way to get the attention of someone you like. Dexter noticed, but thought Sparrow was just being a jerk right up until the True Hearts’ Day thing, when he thought Sparrow was just trying to find out where/when the dance was being held for Duchess. It took Sparrow actually writing an (execrable) love song on guitar for Dexter to work out that, no, Sparrow was actually interested in him.

How did they start living together? Do they move? How do they choose the place?The problem with being a prince, and it’s quite a big problem, is that you’re expected to live in the family castle. This involves having to live with Daring and both his steady girlfriends. There’s only so much of that a little brother can tolerate, and Sparrow was more than willing to let him move in with him to get away from it all.

Do they act different in public and at home?

I think they do, yeah. In public, Sparrow is very hung up on the traditional idea of masculinity where being openly affectionate is weak and, well, Robin Hood is a British legend, and some of that has rubbed off on him. Behind closed doors, he’s considerably more demonstrative. Dex, on the other hand, remains much the same in public and in private.

Favourite sexual activity?

Blowjobs. Sparrow really likes the way that, for all that he’s kind of sweet and adorkable normally, Dex has a filthy mouth when you get him going, so probably dirty talk too. On Dex’s side, while the chance to shut Sparrow up for a little while is not to be underestimated, it’s kind of fun to have that much power over someone as arrogant as Sparrow can often be, to reduce him to begging and whimpering and pleading.

What do they watch on TV and do they fight for the remote?

For Sparrow, I think he’s one for a good action film, and probably has a fondness for music shows. He also has a secret, embarrassing thing about reality television, particularly cooking shows, which he keeps very much to himself. Dex has a bit of a thing for comic book adaptations in any form, and can get pretty worked up over changes made in the process of adapting them to the screen, at least until he sees the finished product.

How do they make up after a fight?

I think, after a proper fight, Dex is not going to be the one to apologise first. He’s normally willing to all but bend over backwards to accommodate others, which means that if it’s come to a fight it’s usually important. Sparrow just isn’t that good at apologies, so he probably turns up a week later having composed an ‘I’m sorry’ song which is predictably terrible, but funny enough to break the ice.
