Lizzie gathered her things before throwing a glare at Sparrow, shouting “of with your head!” As she pivoted on her heel, stepping on the glass of the broken beaker before she left.

Sparrow rolled his eyes while watching the princess leave. He scoffed, it wasn’t even his fault the piston exploded, Lizzie just didn’t know how to appreciate his music.

Stomping off, he made his way to the table his friends were sat at. He made a big show of throwing his things down as he shouted “I hate Lizzie Hearts!”

What he didn’t realize was that Lizzie had also been heading to a different table near by and heard him say that.

She paused hiding behind a pillar as she saw her boyfriend, Daring perk up. She thought he was going to defend her even if it was just a little.

Just because she said that their relationship had to be kept a secret doesn’t meant that she didn’t expect him to stand up for her at times like this, even if it was a little.

“She’s so entitled and acts like a snooty little princess and because of what!” Lizzie clicked her tongue, carefully watching as Daring straightened.

“I mean I see why you failed at getting her to go on a date with you Daring. She’s a nightmare!” Lizzie felt her blood run cold as she heard what her boyfriend said it return.

“I know right! Total nightmare, I mean talk about being a spoiled brat! How could she resist me!” Lizzie didn’t see it, but as the words left Darings mouth he silently winced.

“You know one time I asked her to move her foot so I can pass by and she yelled- ‘off with your head!’ Like just move your foot.” Everyone at the table laughed at Darings comment, the sound attracting attention from everyone.

“Sometimes I wonder if her voice ever gets tired of all that shrillyness.” As the comments and remarks kept coming in, Lizzie felt herself closing in.

But as she noticed Kitty approaching her, she took a steady breath and held her head high as she walked past Daring and his friends.

As she did from the corner of her eye she could see that fear and anxiety set into Daring, because he knew that she heard and he knew that she’d never forgive him.

But maybe she would have let him explain himself if he stopped his friends from laughing and whispering as she passed by.

Lizzie slumped against the well of wonders, her head buried in her hands. Sometimes when she was upset she’d sit next to the well of wonders and pretend she was sitting next to her mother.

With the curse on wonderland this really was the closest she could be to her mother, and to Alistair and Bunny she thought.

Generally she tried not to think about her mum or her two friends that were still stuck in wonderland. It only upset her more.

Her peace and thinking were suddenly broken when heavy footsteps approached her. “Lizzie?” Darings voice was hesitant as if she was one of those dragon he had to slay.

She gritted her teeth in annoyance at his disturbance, why couldn’t she just be left alone when she wanted to be?

Daring called her name again, this time sitting beside her but a far away distance. Lizzie caught herself before she could say ‘off with your head!’ His words ringing in her ear.

“Please just let me explain. Lizzie please.” He tried to grab her hand but she snatched it away, her anger simmering rapidly.

“There is nothing to explain you made yourself quite clear.” Daring flinched at her clipped, cold voice yet still continued.

“You have to understand that I had to.” As soon as the words left his mouth Lizzie’s anger reached surface level. The fuck did he mean ‘he had to’?

“I know you did not just say that.” Her voice was but a growl as she now stood, her figure imposing on him.

“You know I had to Lizzie! They would get suspicious if I defended you.” She knew he was right but that didn’t mean it didn’t hurt.

“The funny thing is- is that I felt like you enjoyed dating those things about me. You didn’t stop after the first comment or the second or-.”

“One comment wasn’t going to convince them and you know it.” The bite in Darings voice had Lizzie’s anger now tipping over the edge. She sick and tired of him making excuses for everything he did.

Even if ‘he had to’ say those nasty things about her, she didn’t understand why he was here making excuses for himself rather than apologizing.

It only made it seem that the only reason why he was even here was because he saw she was hurt by it. Lizzie doubted if he would even be here if he didn’t know she heard.

“You know what Daring I’m sick and tired of your- your attitude! You say I’m the entitled, snooty princess get here you are making excuses for yourself!” Daring went to interrupt but she threw him a glare.

“Maybe I wouldn’t be half as mad if you had apologized for what you said instead of making excuses because at the end of the day you could half done something to defend your girlfriend’s honor.”

As the words left her mouth Daring stood while taking slow steps towards her. He had a regretful expression on his handsome face, one nobody was used to seeing.

Lizzie let him take her hand in his own as he pulled her in. “I know. Lizzie you are right and from now on I promise to stop making g excuses for my actions and to defend you against any harmful actions.”

If only Daring Charming was better at keeping promises.

I rewatched ever after high with my girlfriend after like, six years

We had…thoughts

Do you guys think fairytale people look down on those who aren’t from a fairytale? Because, Ever After High seems to be the most like prestige school, but not everyone can go to it. Is there like racism going on between fairytale people and normal people?

It’s said many times that Apple will be like, the future queen, but when we meet Snow White she’s a fucking capitalist. Also Apple being queen means kinda nothing cause half the school are royalty and will grow up to become kings and queens. That title doesn’t mean anything

We had like, ten kids from wonderland, but no Oz kids? I feel like a Dorothy child would be very obvious, like what the hell, same with the witches

The school actively encourages evil people to be evil, then become surprised when they are evil. Like, Evil Queen cursing Wonderland and almost taking over the world? That’s on you, principal

Also can we place lock up the principal in jail? He lied and manipulated his students, stole from Raven, and kept his brother cursed and locked up in the basement. Like, ???? The brother comes back and is just like “Oh I missed you so much brother” like no!!!!!! Get that man out of here!!!!!

Do the fairytale people reproduce like, asexually, or do we have a ton of inbreeding between the royals? Well, it would be the most realistic aspect of the show

Hot take: Apple is a great character. Like yeah she’s a little selfish, but when we’re shown how she was raised it’s fully understandable that she’s so obsessed with fulfilling her destiny, but she’s never rude or bitchy, not ever really to Raven. Also she gets better! Active character development! She’s one of my favorites

Why the fuck is Allister frolicking in Wonderland. Bro Alice came back, she left that place, yet everyone is just like “Yep he’s a wonderlandian”, like no! Also he’s a royal? Bro you can’t be a royal, you were actively rebelling against your story by going to wonderland early

It’s a little messed up how many of the kids are like, being forced to die. Like Ramona? She will be fucking gutted after eating her sister if she goes with her story. Like what is this school, what are these rules?

Apart from Sparrow, surprisingly, everyone of the boy designs are so fucking boring. Ew

I love the direction they took for Briar. I think they kinda realized after the first episode that shit, it’s kinda weird that this girl who’s destiny it is to sleep for 100 years to just be fine with it. Briar is also one of my faves

Speaking of the sleeping beauty story tho, do you think it’s rare for the school to have a sleeping beauty? Cause we’re shown that this school has housed like, generations of fairytale characters, but since Sleeping beauty clocks out for a hundred years, and probably only had a child after that, they must only get her like, every fourth or fifth generation. Kinda interesting actually

Daring X Cerise > Daring X Rosabella. Like idk, maybe it’s that Cerise can like, fully challenge him in his views, forcing him to become better in a way. Like, with Rosabella it feels more like an “I can fix him <3” mindset, while with Cerise it’s more “I can knock him down a peg”. I just thought they had a better dynamic, idk

Speaking of the Charming family, gf and I fucking hate Dexter’s name. Like, Daring and Darlings names match each other so well, not just that they sound alike but that they have meanings. Dexter is just a boring name

We tried to come up with name ideas, Dating was the funniest one to us, but we thought Dastardly was kinda fun.

Like, our thought process was that he was meant to be like, the classic jealous twin brother, always looking to sabotage his perfect older bro, except he wasn’t that at all. Like, a running joke would be that it would look like he was sabotaging Daring, or like being mean, but then the camera would like zoom out or smt and show that he was like, playing a video game or just doing something completely different. It would have been more fun, plus it would have given Dexter like an actual personality instead of just, inferiority complex the person

Dashing could also have been an idea for a name

Kitty should have a tail. As should her milf of a mother have. Also like, real cat ears instead of just a hat or a headband. It feels obvious

I mean Bunny has actual bunny ears, plus she can transform into a bunny, but why is the cat just like A Girl

How can Hunter belong to both the Little red ringing hood story, and Snow White. Is his dad just a mad multitasker, or does he have two dads? I like the second option honestly

The storybeat of the characters all living through each others story honestly should have been like, an entire special. It’s the most interesting thing the show did, and I wish we could have seen more, cause it lasted only like seven minutes. But that gives us more time to see that thrilling book all storyline, amiright?!

Briar’s moment was especially heart aching, and I wish we'd gotten more of it

But like, since Briar as the evil queen saw Apple poisoned instead of her mum, does that mean that Raven was talking to herself in her story

But at the same time, Blondie saw the current queen of hearts instead of Lizzie, so like what's going on

Snow White and The Evil Queen have like the vibe of high school rivals/ex girlfriends, and they did go to school together, but like Queenie is literally her step mom. Like what. If Raven were to live out her story, would that mean that she would marry Apple's dad? Whoever that is?

The more you think about the lore of this world the more it doesn't make sense, but it also becomes like incredibly dark

The Pied Piper is one of if not my favorite fairytales, but I hate how he is represented in this show. Like he kidnapped children and then drowned them, that man shouldn't be a teacher!

Also white queen is a teacher at ever after, yet her daughter is still in wonderland. Like bitch just left her there, what the hell.

I love that they didn’t make any of the princesses stuck up bitches, like Descendants did. Like, the girls are all kind, with vibrant personalities and a lot of love for the people around them. The closest thing to the “mean girl” stereotype is Duchess actually

But Duchess makes total sense! She fucking drowns at the end of her story, of course she wants another one. Why is Raven’s rebellion praised but Duchesses scorned? Also why is she a royal, girlypop is literally trying to steal other people’s happily ever after, she a rebel

I'm here again talking about the polyamory EAH ship of Sparrow Hood x Chase Redford x Daring Charming.

That's them. And no one can tell me otherwise, because possibly only I know the ship so yeah.

Like, despite being dating, I know that Daring and Sparrow still like to compete and be rivals in something and then kiss each other and then Chase. Is Chase more like the referee? And maybe taking care that the fools don't get hurt.

I have to think of more headcanons, like King Charming is a shitty parent and Sparrow hates him and would steal everything from the King Charming.

They like to sleep in the same bed and Chase sleeps in the middle with the other two on his sides.

I still don't know whether to make all three of them sleep in one room because Chase isn't in Ever After and he never appeared again that I remember, after Way to Wonderland (I hate that he didn't appear again).

And if Chase were at EAH maybe he would have a room to himself? Or if I remember correctly Alistair is Sparrow's roommate so we could move Hopper and Alistair to one room and have the other room be Daring, Sparrow and also Chase.

Or Chase has his room, Daring and Sparrow are in their own rooms but they spend more time in Chase's room.

I still can't decide on the room arrangement. Also also Hopper and Daring are besties (no one can tell me otherwise on this because I KNOW IT in my heart) so when Daring started dating them, Hopper was the first to know and then he told Darling and Dexter.

Raven and dexter?

I’m so so sorry for not replying sooner, I just hit a bit of writers block with this one but I still hope I delivered what you wanted!!

Dexter was not looking forward to thronecoming.

He wasent the type to like big parties and loud music like Briar Beauty and his older brother. He instead liked to sit with a good book and a small amount of company to pass the time, but as a Charming it was basically law that he had to attend.

So now he was stuck trying to figure out a way to ask out his long term crush, the infamous Raven Queen. Who dispite her reputation and lack of willingness to abid by her destiny was a rather sweet and nice girl who cared about other people’s feelings.

That he admired about her a lot, where in a world full of fake smiles she was a true and genuine beacon of truth and sincerity. That made the prospect of asking her out even more scary, sure they were freaindky and he would consider them friends but what if she was being nice only out of her natural sweet personality.

His anxiety was eating away at him and his older brother Daring and his roommate Hunter had started to notice his overwhelmingly quite self. “What’s wrong bro?” Daring slung an arm around his brother as they made their way to heroics class.

Dexter only shrugged and turned to look at anything else but his brothers discerning face, “nothing just some stuff on my mind.” At this point Hunter decided to join in on the conversation as they now stood in front of their teacher.

“You sure? Because your being more quite than usual.” At this point Dexter had given up on trying to hide his dilemma and instead opted to take some advice from two of the most relationship successful guys in the school.

Daring seemed to have everything figured out with his destiny and many flings and Hunter was as steady as a horse with Ashlynn. “Well… I’ve been thinking that maybe I could ask Raven out.” Both guys paused for a second before Hunter clapped him in the back.

“If that’s what you want then why not.” Dexter internally rolled his eyes, so much for good advice. “Yes little brother if that is the girl you want to take to the thronecoming then go for it.” Dexter again rolled his eyes internally before letting out an exasperated sigh.

“Yeah but the problem is I don’t know how! I mean how do you go about asking out a girl like Raven. She’s so… special and kindhearted and open and-.” He quickly closed his mouth as he realized he was entering into one of his rants.

Finally realizing his little brothers problem Daring gave Dexter a smirk as he pointed to the bleachers, “well for one you can be a Charming and use our effortless genetics to your advantage and be charming. The ladies always love a charming man.” The last sentence was directed at Hunter who only chuckled.

Dexter on the other hand turned to look where his brother was pointing only to find, Raven and Cupid sitting by the bleacher with a mirrorpad. Dexter felt his face burn as his eyes connected with Ravens for a brief second before he hurriedly looked away.

Just how could she be this fabeulous? Her hair was shining in the sun which cast a amethyst glow to her surroundings and her eyes sparkled with light as she laughed at something Cupid said. She really was the most perfect girl he had ever seen.

But as he thought back, his eyes trailed back to the bleachers to then land on a certain love expert… who was more than likely to be of bigger help to him than these two doofuses next to him. With his kind made up he turned back to his teacher and counted down the minutes till he could track Cupid down.

He found Cupid fairly quickly after his class ended, she was walking back to her dorm when he saw her again.

“Cupid!” The said girl worked around and smiled while fixing her hair. “Oh Dexter what can I do for you?” He fumbled with his thumbs choosing his words carefully.

“Well you see there’s this girl that I really really like… but I don’t know who to ask her out. I want to take her to the thronecoming.”

Cupid bit her lip as he continued to ramble on until she reached out and rested her hand on his shoulder, “Dex I think the best way is to be… direct. Just tell her and everything will turn out fine. I’m sure the girl would more than lucky to have you as a date.”

Cupid gave a little squeeze to his shoulder while Dexter thought over her words. Being direct wasn’t something he was good at, but if Raven liked direct then that’s what he’d be.

Smiling he leaned forward and gave Cupid a smile as she fluttered her eyes. “Cupid… thank you now all I have to do is find Raven.”

She stumbled back and gave him a once over as he pivoted on his heel. Life really was unfairest to those it didn’t favor.

Dexter felt like he had walked around the entire school before he found Raven. She was still sat at the bleachers, only this time with Maddie as they seemed to have a tea party of sorts.

He felt his anxiety rose with every step as he thought over the words he had practiced over and over in his mind. What if she thought they were childish? Or maybe she didn’t like directness.

It was too late to back out either way as the next second Maddie shot up and exclaimed his name for the entire school to hear. As she sat back down he made eye contact with a rather surprised Raven, swallowing and taking a deep breath he fixed his jacket before slowly approaching.

Raven watched him curiously as she could see the stress and anxiety oozing out of him, which if he knew how obviously stressed he looked he could probably faint from embarrassment. When Dexter was finally in front of Maddie and Raven, he looked between the two girls wishing that Maddie would somehow understand and leave them alone for a second.

“Hey Dexter. What are you doing here?” His eyes snapped to Ravens as he stammered for a second before answering “oh I- um just that I wanted to ask you something.” Raven smiled and scooted over so he was sitting beside her and Maddie.

“Sure. What’s up.” He looked between the two girls and mastered up all the courage he had before he turned and took Ravens hand in his “I was-.” He was interrupted by the sound of clocks going if at the same time as Maddie suddenly jumped up.

“Oh would you look at the time the rabbit came out the bag and the turtle has to climb the tree.” They both looked at her with a perplexed expression as she bounced of to who knows where. “So Dexter what was it that you wanted to ask.”

Raven gave his hand a reassuring squeeze as she leaned it unknowingly, Dexter on the other hand very much noticed causing him to have his breath catch in his throat. “Right yeah umm so Raven. Would you.. like to go the thronecoming with me.”

They both paused for a second but for different reasons. Dexter paused because of the completely unromantic way of asking her and Raven paused because she couldn’t wrap her head around that Dexter Charming as in her long time crush Dexter Charming wanted to go to the thronecoming with her.

When she continued to not answer he started to get up, his face reddening in embarrassment. “You don’t have to answer tha-.” Raven cut him of as she sprung up and smashed their lips together. Dexter stumbled back in surprise before he gripped Ravens hips and kissed her back with just as much force.

Once they pulled apart they both panted for a few seconds before Dexter asked “so is that a yes?” Raven gave him a deadpan look as she circled her arms around his neck, “definitely a yes.” She didn’t let him answer as her lips were back on his in a second.

Their peaceful moment was cut when they heard the cheerful voice of Blondie saying to her mirrorcast “well there you have it! An other couple confirmed are going together to the thronecoming! Now if you ask me that sounds just right!”

As the mirrorcast turned of Raven and Dexter both groaned and gave Blondie an annoyed look but she only gave them a smile and wave as she spotted her next victims, Sparrow and Duchess.

He thought he was nervous to ask her out but he was even more nervous now that he was waiting outside Ravens dorm with his brother beside him as they waited for their dates. “Don’t be nervous bro! Just be your… charming self.”

Dexter rolled his eyes and gripped the flowers even tighter as he heard the door creak open and the sound of Apple Whites voice say “come on Raven our princes are waiting!” As the girl said that he thought he saw his brother flinch for a second before he was distracted with the sight of Raven.

“Hey Dexter.” He gulped and handed her the flowers quickly as he rubbed the back of his neck turning to see Apple softly giggling at him. He paid her no mind tho as Raven returned a second later, “you look fabelous Raven.” She gave him a small smile and put her arm through his as they followed the pair in front.

Once they finally entered the ballroom, Raven was quick to pull him to the dance floor after much persuasion and a tiny bit of guilt tripping. In all honesty tho Dexter was ready to fall to his knees as soon as Raven made her request, the want to make her happy overriding his fear of dancing and embarrassing himself in front of her.

He twirled Raven before bribing her back to his chest as they danced along to some tune Melody Piper had out on. It was a slow yet energetic song that many of the couple decided to dance and him and Raven were no different.

As he went to dip her down she giggled and threw her head back before coming back up and meeting his eyes. As they did he felt his breath freeze in his lungs, and his heart beat rapidly for her eyes shone like the starry night above.

Unconsciously he leaned forward and pulled her closer by the waist as he finally connected their lips together again. The kiss was sweet yet passionate and Dexter had found it was starting to become his new favorite taste.

Blondie was correct, this was just right.
