My sister & I was trying to figure out what movie to watch today & I was about to click on “The Godfather” on Paramount+ & my sister screamed “Oh please Nooooooo please don’t” & I said “why not?” & she said “it’s because I will go down the Al Pacino’s rabbit hole & not come back out for 6 months”. Out of all the Nations, Arthur is the wealthiest - a combination of the relationship he had with his monarchy, his years as a pirate, and being really good with investments.

Arthur is a knight, both ceremonially and literally. (Alfred finds this awesome and also incredibly sexy, but refuses to admit it.)

Arthur is an amazing gardener, and pretty much grows everything he needs. Unfortunately, no matter how fresh and healthy his vegetables are, they lose all nutritional value once he tries to cook them.

When Alfred comes over, he sneakily batch cooks a few different meals so Arthur can enjoy home cooking under the guise of YOU HAVE NO FOOD AND I'M STARVING, ENGLAND. Arthur's figured Alfred out, but always plays along.

Arthur's an ass man; he has a mental ranking for all the Nations, and refers to them in his notes by that number. You can guess who number 1 is, I bet. (France was initially furious at finding out his own ranking, but conceded that what truly made him special was not his derriere, but what was on the other side.)

His canines are very prominent, and it can be quite disconcerting when he grins or shows his teeth. Antonio calls him the English Devil behind his back, while Gilbert sometimes calls him Count Kirkland (to his face).

Banned from like, ten bars in London for brawling. The last bar he got banned from was because some guy tried to hit on Alfred while he was trying to drag Arthur home.

So I personally think England is at his most yandereish self as an empire, because he wants to own his beloved, he sees them as his belonging

He's technically an empire and a pirate at the same time, because no one can do shit about it and he wants to have fun

Anyways if you manage to capture his attention you're basically fucked because he has so much international control

If you're one of his colonies you don't really have much choice but we're going with you being a none controlled country

(I'll make up a country for use at some point, that will be personified by what you guys want)

You'll be brought onto his pirate ship, and chained to his massive bed, and left there to stew for a while, because he's a sadist and a power hungry asshole, he wants to show you he's in control

England does think he's entitled to you, which makes it very hard to reason with him. Because why should he let his treasure go?

If you resist too much the first time you're going to be chained to the bed with iron chains, because resistance is useless. If you accept it he will use silk to tie you up, because he wants to show you how well you're treated when you submit

There will be a lot of teasing, if he can he wants to make you cry from sexual frustration

You being small and cute only makes you a bigger target because it makes him feel powerful and taller

He'll find your most sensitive spots and stroke them painfully slowly.

He'll circle his fingers in light brushes around your most private areas, never touching completely, but just enough to make arousal shoot through your body like fireworks

His possessive bites will make your stomach curl into a ball and when the sweet relief of your stomach no longer doing acrobatics comes, he will find yet another soft spot to bite

He will drag out the teasing for as long as it takes to make you beg for him and cry in frustration

And when you finally beg he won't even give you what you want, no he wants more, he wants you to swear your mind, body and soul to him, he'll offer to ease the frustration if you swear yourself to him

When you've done that only then will he take you, and he will make sure it's the best fuck you've ever had, or at least he likes to think that

You're going to be treated kind of like a consort/concubine, when you start behaving, which is good but he also expects you to do whatever he asks of you, regardless of what it is.

If you are a good little treasure he might actually stick to just fucking you,

You will get more power the closer you get to him, so pleasing him in the bed is the best way to actually gain influence

Beware tho that you will not be able to leave him for many centuries, because he stays in power for so fucking long, so just acting like you're his perfect little plaything will ensure your survival and good treatment from him

But if you do leave him at his weakest he will be super fucking mad and it will change him for the worse, because he might have tricked himself into thinking you like him. Which of course is a delusion, but shit is going to hit the fan, he will do anything he can to hurt those closest to you or anything that matters to you. He'll be so filled with wrath that he will do anything to make you feel what he feels, which also involves going back to his habit of sleeping around a lot

You will never be truly free, he will torment you forever until you give up or die, either way your most peaceful option is to accept your fate, if you stay with him and act like a submissive and sweet wife, then you will have an easy life, he's very rarely prone to violence towards a significant other and with time he calms down a little and becomes less sadistic, ish.

If things go well he might actually want to marry you and treat you almost like an equal, letting you make decisions that affect you both, etc

Summary: Ten years later, on a cloudy and foggy day in England, a newspaper report about a group of young men locking themselves in a slum house and setting themselves on fire shook London. Many false and true rumors have surfaced, one of which is believed by many people, that it is actually a secret society of Satan worshipers, burning themselves so that they can donate their own souls for Lucifer.

And in the newspaper, in the list of those who died in the fire in that house, there was Arthur Kirkland's name.

Author's note: Sorry for my crude grammar and word usage. I tried translating it from Vietnamese to English, but I'm afraid it's not very good. Later I will translate some more of my fanfics into English.

Chapter 1: The Devil and the Boy

"It was a rainy day.

In the middle of a busy line of people, there was a boy with thick eyebrows, messy sandy blond hair, wearing a beret, untidy clothes, holding unsold newspaper. He went back to his dilapidated abandoned house. He took off his shoes, tiredly lay on the cold floor, gradually fell asleep, tears blurred his eyes as green as a forest.

Just as he fell asleep, a snake slithered on the floor. The snake looked at the boy's bare feet and immediately lunged forward, its mouth gaping open to aim at the child's heel.

Thinking that the snake's venom was about to bite into the boy's skin, a great force immediately fell from above. A woman's foot stepped on the snake's head. It panicked and struggled, its tail thrashing violently, but to no avail.

It was a beautiful woman wearing a robe as bright as the sun, with twelve stars on her head. The woman looked at the sleeping boy with tender eyes and boundless love.

"Let me out!"

The snake hissed, its golden eyes with thread-like pupils widening with fear mixed with hatred. The snake shape at the woman's feet turned into thick black smoke. The smoke condenses and forms a tall and handsome man, a slim waistcoat and elegant tailcoat, behind which are giant black wings shaped like bat wings.

"You must not harm this child." The woman, fearless, looked straight into the man's eyes.

"Our Lady, can You tell me why You always interrupt my work?" The man said, his voice cold and sarcastic.

"This boy in despair called my name. This boy is my son." Mary replied slowly, "Go back to your place, and never touch my beloved children again."

The man's golden eyes suddenly flashed a malicious glint. Under his feet appeared a large black mud.

"Okay, I won't harm him. But he won't be Your son forever, Lady." He laughed, as his body slowly sank into the black mud at his feet. "Instead, this child, Arthur Kirkland, will be MY child. Then he will commit crimes that no one can imagine. I will destroy everything You hold dear, Our Lady. "

Maria didn't seem scared at all. Our Lady simply replied:

"Under God's providence, my children will always return to my side."

Hearing Mary's mention of God, the devil's handsome face immediately contorted with anger.

"Let's see."

He said before sinking into the mud completely. The mud disappeared, leaving the floor dry as if there had never been any liquid there.

favourite thing about them: nothing. he's a pretentious, detestable prick. that's why he's such a fun character.

least favourite thing about them: some of those stereotypes were too accurate, and as an english person i had to reckon with that.

favourite line: i haven't watched it since 2012 and i also watched subbed so i'm not sure on the line, but the scene where francis is begging him to marry him so his boss doesn't kill him, and arthur just plainly laughs in his face.

brotp: engport, best friends of life (except for that 60yrs we don't talk about), and generally being their for each other throughout everything. also engnor for similar reasons. i wish we got more of them.

otp: engspa. i love how they're caught in an endless cycle of enemies-to-reluctant-allies-to-lovers-to-enemies. i love that they find so much joy in fucking each other over and beating each other up. also pirates. the epitome of "i can make him worse". truly toxic by choice.

notp: usuk. i just never saw it honestly.

random headcanon: arthur considers french to be one of his mother tongues but would never admit it out loud. he sill frequently uses it.

unpopular opinion: to this day, this was one of the most toxic fandoms i was ever in but the only one where the toxicity hasn't stopped me coming back to write for it. i genuinely enjoy writing for these characters still.
