So I recently got back into my Detroit: Become Human hyperfixation via an amazing fan made film called Detroit Evolution and it's mini-sequel Detroit Reawakening by Octopunk Media. Let me tell you, I am blown away by it. The writing is beautiful, the acting incredible, and the effects aren't half bad.

But it also brings us to something I've always wanted to talk about; asexual and trauma representation in media. Asexuality is barely even touched and trauma is so heavily sexualized that you can't talk about the reality of trauma. This movie is so real for how it approaches both of these things, and I love it.

Thank you to all all the cast that represented us, to the crew for their hard work, and to Octopunk itself for being so inclusive.

Man, I watched Detroit Evolution last night with my boyfriend @oswinunknown and my bestie @caffeinatedreese and I am obsessed- Like yes, the portrayal of their relationship was amazing, I am now a 900Reed shipper, but omfg the production itself??? This is why I became a film student- Hats off to you, OctoPunk Media.

Thanks to our dear Michelle (@octopunkmedia) who gave me the idea, while answering a question about what kind of weapon Ada would use ! I hope I did good !

Also, yeah, it’s one of the scenarii in which Ada is really pissed off and wants to kill Elijah Kamski. Sadly in what I imagined, one of the Chloes model tried to protect Kamski. But our Ada is ruthless.
