Thanks to our dear Michelle (@octopunkmedia) who gave me the idea, while answering a question about what kind of weapon Ada would use ! I hope I did good !

Also, yeah, it’s one of the scenarii in which Ada is really pissed off and wants to kill Elijah Kamski. Sadly in what I imagined, one of the Chloes model tried to protect Kamski. But our Ada is ruthless.

I've wanted to recreate this scene from Detroit: Evolution (credit to Octopunk Media) ever since I watched it again a month or so ago. I'm so glad to have finally gotten to it now.

I made two variations of this artwork and couldn't decide which I liked best. So, I figured I'd just post both...

2) What’s your total AO3 word count? 198,622 (that's hilariously low again when looking at the amount of works)

3) What fandoms do you write for? BG3 currently, I used to write a lot for CR and Detroit Evolution

5) Do you respond to comments? I try to, I really love getting comments and having little conversations with everyone but I'm also terrible with keeping up with my email notifications.

6) What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Wrong place, wrong time (Detroit Evolution, Nines/Gavin)

7) What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? I almost always write happy endings honestly.. Tell her a story (tell her the honest truth) (Detroit Evolution, Ada/North) maybe?

8) Do you get hate on fics? I don't think I've ever had straight up hate, no.

9) Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Yes, I'm very much a smutty oneshot writer, who occasionally branches out. What kind of smut? I don't know? Nothing extremely. Mainly F/M. The consensual kind. Good communication is a recurring topic. One of my most used tags is probably "dom/sub undertones"

10) Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? I don't have any crossovers up and I don't plan on writing any. The most idiotic fic I have up on AO3 is a fanfic based on the google translate butchered script of Detroit Evolution called Camp Cyberlife (Anatomy) that I fully just wrote as a joke for a couple of friends.

11) Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not that I'm aware.

12) Have you ever had a fic translated? Nope.

13) Have you ever co-written a fic before? Also no.

14) What’s your all time favorite ship? My all time favourite ship is Will/Elizabeth from PotC, but I don't read or write about that, they just live in my brain forever.

15) What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I have a WIP still up for a Detroit Evolution fic that I haven't touched in literal years, that I recently got a comment on. I reread it and now I personally am pissed at myself for never finishing it because it ends on a cliffhanger and I don't even remember what was supposed to happen.

16) What are your writing strengths? The thing I've been complimented on most across all fandoms is characterisation. I take a lot of care finding the voice of the characters I write, and from people's reactions that seems to work very well.

17) What are your writing weaknesses? Pacing. Pacing is hard.

18) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I think it's hard to not have it be confusing. I've thrown in a few words in a different language here and there a few times, but never more than that. I think there's definitely a place for it but it's hard to do it well.

19) First fandom you wrote for? Oof, um. I think that somewhere in the dephts of ff.net there's still a fic of mine for the shadowhunters universe that exists.

20) Favorite fic you’ve written? Recently probably The one that got away. That one is a little special to me because the Tav in there is a character very near and dear to my heart. Besides that I'm actually really really enjoying working on my current multichapter (with the most obnoxiously long title) High heeled heroes & reluctantly righteous rogues (BG3, Astarion/Tav).

rewatching detroit evolution

i want to watch the rest and then reawakening so bad but i have work in the morninggggg but its been so long since i watched it, i forget how much chris (the character) steals the show. and also chris the actor lets be honest. de gavin is a whole character of his own hes so snarky and sarcastic without being straight up mean, his and nines's relationship is this friendly teasing that looks like bullying from the outside but they both love it actually. speaking of that i think on my previous watches ive thought that nines is sort of more "in love" with gavin at first as it were but actually the bits you see of gavin's inner thoughts, the bit where he texts tina and shes like "go in now and you can stop nines taking basic instinct home" implies that hes already told her about a crush on nines and shes teasing him about that. gavin is very much in love with nines too he just doesnt know how to let people get close to him. and he thinks nines is trying to antagonise him or something by trying to fix him rather than just. nines is being a nice person. classic miscommunication. but anyway back to chris the character his "yall have a nice day" to the protesters took me OUT i forgot how good that line was. and his lil 😁when he thinks hes set up ada and nines and hes done so good at wingmanning and hes so proud of himself. also "hank? the dog maybe... but hank?" i cant wait for the kiss scene because i know the surprised pikachu face is gonna take me out. chris miller the star of this movie. talking of lines that you might miss if youre not listening really closely i noticed after gavin says "just try not to be so damn annoying" to lazzo hes is like "i dont know if i can" or something along those lines as the scene changes and i love that. shoutout to lazzo, man is just trying to get parts for his android girlfriend and his friend got turned to swiss cheese😔. "that must have been hard for you" "yeahitwas" shoutout also to jillian geurts playing the un-deviated ada so android-ly and how she seems so professional and composed until the scene when shes walking home with nines and the switch flips to creepy. shes suddenly so scornful of humans and theres suddenly the sense of this woman has no care for imperfect beings. only perfection. "hes a rash, irritable human." i really love how the androids are portrayed in this movie. nines as a deviant retains his sense of polished-ness and likes to dress well and speak with precise words, but its not out a scornfulness for imperfection its just how he likes to be. which is so real. the way he speaks, in a way that seems formal but informalness and friendliness is conveyed by the words hes saying even if they are verbose, is so relatable to me. win for the autistic community. i love this movie i cant believe its been so long since i watched it last. i started watching it like surely its not gonna suck me in again and make me obsess over it as much as i did in 2020. surely the magic has faded a little. but no it really is that good. i cant wait to watch the rest

Time Travel is probably the angstiest one but i dont think ive ever written something with an unhappy ending lol or have planned any of my unfinished fics to be angsty. i like happy endings

im writing something atm and i really love how it ends, i hope i manage to finish it

8. do you get hate on your fics?

i think the only time i got hate on anything ever was a comment on a sims gallery upload that was just "ew" lol

i love crossovers with my whole heart when i first started writing back on fanfiction.net EVERYTHING i wrote was a crossover. if you are my new favourite character you are meeting the doctor from doctor who and you WILL enjoy it.

SO MANY omg. my writing life is just wips that i will never finish. i have a bbc atlantis fic where they go to the underground with orpheus to bring back medusa and a portal fic where chell and doug escape aperture and i want to tell you the twist so bad but maybe one day i will finish it still. and then theres the detroit evolution fic where ada's abandoned android body wakes up and continues the murders. i would be unstoppable if i could actually finish things i stg

16. what are your writing strengths?

i really like writing comedy, it seems like i can make people laugh which i am proud of

17. what are your writing weaknesses?

finishing things ._. also i always struggle with the flow of a piece of writing, it always reads a little choppy and i envy those people who can write something that makes you forget youre reading and not just transmitting a flow of consciousness direct from the page

18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

idk, dont really have an opinion

19. first fandom you wrote for?

the first thing i ever published was a crossover between skulduggery pleasant and city of bones. i'm still proud of it, i did well for capturing the vibes for a 13-year-old lol

in the sense of characters across universes/media interacting? no. in the sense of “i am going to put my blorbos in every single other setting i slightly enjoy”? absolutely. putting them under a microscope. researching and recording how they react to their surroundings

15. what’s a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

stares awkwardly at feed your anger like fire… i’ve tried!! but it turns out that sometimes you get stuck on clothing designs and stop writing and then lose passion for the project and then stop updating for three years because you were too ambitious and also you hate your old writing style. not that i would know anything about that

16. what are your writing strengths?

i think i’m really good at dialogue, or at least banter. unfortunately this makes me very judgmental but that’s not important. also i can create a vibe well i’ve been told

in general? i SUCK at character description, or at least knowing where and when to place it. i also always worry about characterization and if my characters sound too similar

18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

i used to read so many fics that centered around using another language (shoutout bmc fandom when i was. in that. a dark period of my life, but alas) and honestly if it’s done well i think it’s cool!! i’m not going to get into the intricacies of bilingualism on account of being an english only speaker but it is rad to me

wrote for? probably warriors. yes the cats. i had a whole fanfic for my oc. shoutout to… honestly i don’t remember her name but she was a real one! wrote for and posted is another story, by which i mean i don’t remember At All. probably bandori tbh, bc i don’t remember if i posted fanfic on my wattpad

20. favorite fic you’ve written?

either the venn diagram of curses and crushes (which is still my favorite fic title ever) or soaking in the glory. one of them is a 3k word expedition into the play it by ear canon space and the other is a 7k word fever dream i went into a fugue state to write in two days. honorable mention to the like the sweetest cup of chai series which i hold so close to my heart. silliest besties of all time

Detroit Evolution custom pops just finished! I am crazy proud of these. I don’t know why my brain thought it would be easier to paint iggy smaller then my pinky finger nail rather then a foo fighters tee but here we are. and yes its me so something had to glow in the dark and its DE so it had to be Lazzo.

Also had an additional ‘fun’ photo shoot with these which i will post in a couple days.
