In case you've been traumatized by some of the issues I've posted from books I've recently read, you should know that I'm available as a proofreader/editor for all types of writing (English language only, unfortunately). Quotes can be provided based on requested services and project length. Additionally, I can transcribe or edit speech-to-text or audio/video.
I'm also weirdly good at untangling yarn, jewelry, electronic cables, etc. If you've got a box of items that need to be detangled or separated and/or categorized, I'm your girl!
Reply or DM for details.

Okay so tangle teezers, good? Yes?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But I really have to vouch for the cheap novelty copies bc they are SO SMALL and fit into the hand so well so they don't fall while you're brushing.
This kitty one is from Ale-hop and to be 100% honest, it's been WAY better than the brand Tangle Teezer bc I can actually hold it and not drop it. But it's also not as mini as the travel version of a brand TT and also, it doesn't come with that weird stand/protector that you're supposed to use.
10 years ago I would have absolutely told anyone to get Tangle Teezer over any copy because the copies were absolute shit, but not anymore. As someone with super fine hair, the difference is not even there anymore. So if the cheap version is smaller or has handle you like, then do buy it.

Washing natural 4c hair can be a bit different from washing other hair types because of its unique texture and needs. Here's a simple guide on how to wash natural 4c hair:
Detangle: Before washing your hair, make sure to detangle it to prevent matting and breakage. You can use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to gently remove any knots or tangles.
Pre-poo: A pre-poo treatment can help soften and prepare your hair for washing. You can use natural oils, such as coconut oil or olive oil, to pre-poo your hair. Apply the oil to your hair, focusing on the ends, and leave it on for at least 30 minutes before washing.
Shampoo: Choose a sulfate-free shampoo that's gentle on your hair. Wet your hair with warm water and apply the shampoo, focusing on your scalp. Massage your scalp with your fingertips to remove dirt and build-up. Avoid scrubbing your hair too vigorously to prevent tangling.
Condition: After shampooing, apply a moisturizing conditioner to your hair. Use a wide-tooth comb to distribute the conditioner evenly from the roots to the ends. Leave the conditioner on for at least 5 minutes before rinsing.
Deep condition: For extra hydration, you can use a deep conditioner once a week. Apply the conditioner to your hair, cover it with a plastic cap, and leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing.

Prompt 179
“Pa, there’s a weird lookin’ cat outside!”
-Said by a sleep deprived Danny Phantom while in Clockwork’s Lair, about a hero displaced in time. Clockwork is in fact amused. Batman is simply confused about the entire situation.

I think one of the easiest ways for me to mistrust a book and all it’s saying is to see how wrong it gets history about Jews.
This came about because I’m reading a book on indigenous activism and theory and it’s really good!
Too bad I can’t trust anything about it because I’m their little “history of colonialism” section they went “the three largest religions of the world-Christianity, Islam, and Judaism (collectively called the Abrahamic religions”.
Bestie. Jews are .2% of the global population. If you’d done a basic google search it would’ve told you the largest religious groups are Christianity, Islam, irreligion, Hinduism, and Buddhism, each of which have over 5% of the global population as adherents. It takes about five seconds to check that and see if you’re being accurate.
If your book is trying to be a reputable source of information and you can’t even put 5 seconds of effort into basic factual double-checking, you are not worthy of my trust about anything else you say.
