Just read screenshots of the Aaron extra chapter and I have so many thoughts, so here they are:

It's always so funny to me to be reminded of the fact that the animosity between Aaron and Neil is mostly one-sided. Like, Neil finds Aaron frustrating, but all the antagonistic stuff he does to him is ultimately in service of helping him in some way and while he's angry when Aaron provokes him, he otherwise regards him with disinterest and even expresses the desire to see what he's like when he's relaxed and enjoying himself during the party with the Vixens. Meanwhile Aaron just really hates that man.

I really appreciated Nora using this chapter to clear up some of the gripes a lot of the fandom has had with Aaron's character in the past and confirm that Aaron's comments to Nicky have to do with his cousin making graphic and unwanted sexual advances on their teammates, and his accusations towards Neil were from a place of concern for his brother. I also liked that it was pointed out that of course he would have at least some internalized homophobia due to being raised by religious zealots in a conservative area, but is unlearning it due to Nicky.

On a similar note, I'm glad that we were provided the context that Nicky's inappropriate behavior is a defense mechanism to weed out people who might hurt him rather than legitimate advances, because I think the fandom tends to forget that he is also a character with extreme trauma written outside of the "perfect victim" stereotype. His actions aren't okay, but the entire point is that they are the result of what he's had to endure just like every other member of the team

Going off that and his nervous habits (that Aaron mentions he did often enough to be noticable as a habit premedication), I am highkey wondering if the reason Sober Andrew doesn't talk to anyone outside Neil is because he's just. Socially Awkward.

We get a little bit of insight into Andrew's "misogyny" (I personally think distrusting certain people as a result of extreme personal trauma is a little bit different than just being sexist, in the same way women distrusting men because they're used to being harassed and belittled isn't misandry, but that's up to your personal opinion) and that his distain for Katelyn comes from the fact that he thinks she's stringing Aaron along and will turn out to be awful like his previous girlfriends (there's also a notable implication that Aaron has the same self-destructive tendencies as Andrew, and may be why he went out of his way to get him into college and on the straight-and-narrow) also see that this extends to Bee as well despite their close relationship, with him being so afraid that she'd reject him for being gay that he can't even look at her while talking about Neil, probably made worse by the fact that she's a maternal figure for him, which is where this trauma response originates.

Aaron is the only person on the team who's aware that Andrew hasn't slept with Neil, and the only one to grasp the significance of the fact that they've gotten close to that point already despite Andrew's trauma, outside of Renee

It was overall really interesting to see inside Aaron's head (I actually wouldn't mind a book from his perspective, he has a similar way of thinking to Neil but much more grounded) and to see Andrew through the lense of someone who just views him as Just A Guy

People always talking about Percy and Jason parallelism as if Nico and Percy don't have the same thing.

Let me explain:

Both are a child of the Big Three,only difference is that Percy is the forbidden one while Nico isn't.

Both are extremely powerful and were ostracized by the other demigods for this,only difference is that Percy's mistreatment wasn't as bad or long as Nico's.

Both were in the Lotus,only difference is that Percy stayed for a couple of days,Nico for years.

Both are extremely skilled with swordsmanship,with Percy being at the top.

Both have a very unique sword with a feature of being able to always be with them. Raptide is a pen that will always come back to Percy,while Nico's sword can appear from the shadows with his command.

Both have a sister that they will die for, without a second question asked.

Both were ready to end themselves for their sibling. During SoM,when Percy thought that Tyson died with Clarisse's ship being destroyed,he wished he could drown but couldn't because he's a son of Poseidon. During BotL,Nico tried to switch his souls for the one of his sister (only good thing Minos did was to tell him that Hades won't accept it) knowing full well the consequences.

Based of the point before,both are extremely suicidal. Percy wished he could drown multiple time,and went along with Polybotes's poison only because he thought he deserved to die. Nico doesn't see the value in his life and go on the most suicidal solo-quest ever with the awareness that he might die,and he doesn't care or think the others don't.

In HoO Hazel think how both Percy and Jason are just waiting for a monster too strong to defeat,that can kill them. Nico isn't to far off from this vision too,since in BoO he was ready to end it all,be it by his travel of wanting to kill Octavian.

Based of the other point,they are probably both depressed,with Percy masking his with humor (similar to Leo) or avoiding thinking about it,and Nico is carrying it on his sleeves,fully accepting it.

Poseidon and Hades tried to keep their family safe,proposing to build palaces in their domains,basically the same place where their wives lives with them,so that they can live in peace and Zeus wouldn't know about them.

Sally and Maria rejected the idea,deciding to raise their children with them despite the difficulties and dangers.

Both have a good relationship with their mother,the problem is that Nico can't remember much of her.

Both are scared of their father domains (all of the kids of the Big 3,both romans and greeks,are). In MoA,when Percy was visiting the aquarium with Frank and the tank broke,he thought he was going to drown (ironic,isn't it? The guy that wanted to drown now is scared of it) before remembering he is a child of Poseidon (again,ironic.). His fear was caused by Gaia,when during SoN,she made him sink into quicksand and Hazel had to save him before they got to the boss battle. In BoO,during their trip with the Statue,Nico was actively fading away (and dying),to the point that mortals and demigods could pass through his body. He almost become one with the shadows,the same shadows he use every time he has to travel. Untill then he was comfortable in being in the shadows,because of CHB attitude regarding him,but after that? He didn't saw them in the same way.

The romans don't pay homage to,or don't respect that much,their fathers. Both the temples of Pluto and Neptune at the CJ are in very bad shape,even with a daughter of Pluto living there.

Both are an active part of the two Great Prophecies,with Percy being the prophecy child and a part of the Seven,while Nico does the heavy lifting on the sidelines as a support character. (Both of the time they won thanks to his help).

Kronos wanted them both (and Thalia) on his side. He tormented all of them,but Percy and Nico (and Thalia) stayed loyal to their fathers no matter what.

Both can get along pretty well with their divine families.

Poseidon and Hades have rooms in their palace only for them,when they stay with them or came for a visit; Amphitrite and Persephone (and Demeter) don't mind their presence that much when they are in the palace.

Both are ready to kill for their loved one,especially their partners. (also Annabeth and Will being blond,when Percy and Nico hair's black>>>>>)

Both are prince of their fathers's kingdom (same for the others Big 3 kids) but noble titles aren't a thing in the demigods world (I will forever be pissed about this)

Poseidon and Hades care about them in their own strange and limiting ways. At the same time they both fucked them up with their horrible communication skills (The price you pay for being alive??? Bianca should be alive instead of Nico??? Fuck them both for this).

Nico and Percy are the only one with a good relationship (for demigods standard) with their divine parent and families,both in the Big 3 kids club and for the rest of the demigods's population. (the children of Dionysus and Apollo too).

Both went to Tartarus and had their mind fucked up by the gods that were there (Nico needs to see Dionysus on almost a daily basis otherwise he will go insane??? Percy was ready to kill a goodness???). Akhlys and Nyx appeared to both of them (get her away from Nico-) and their powers evolved.

Lot of trauma from all the prophecies and wars they went through (same for every other demigods but anyway-)

First impression of their divine sibling was horrible. Triton was extremely judgmental of Percy,without even knowing him,Kim tried to kill him,while Melinoë was straight up trauma for Nico.

Both were betrayed by their teacher. Luke gave Percy sword lessons before he left for his first quest,so much so that during SoN,even without memory,Luke's voice reminded him what to do during the war games. Minos was ready to sell Nico to the enemy after he taught him everything he knew about the rituals to invoke the spirits,and went in the Labyrinth with him.

Both lost their memories,Percy because of Hera and Nico because of Hades. Only difference is that Percy memories returned,while Nico will never have all of them back (like Jason).

In their own POVs they don't talk really highly of themselves,and most of the time think about how they messed up certain things,and how other people could do better than them. The few times they feel confident about their abilities? Bad shit happens.

Ragarding the point before of this,both have a low self-esteem.

In the other characters POVs,we see how people actually see them. Hazel almost mistakes Percy for a god because of how handsome,loyal (probably also why Annabeth,Nico,Rachel,Calypso and Reyna fell for him) and powerful he is. Reyna think that Nico's surname give him justice because he looks like an angel (he also pulled Will Solace with being rarely at CHB during that time) when he smile,and is extremely powerful.

Do I need to continue? There are probably so many other similarities between them but I think you get the point. While Percy and Jason might be two faces the same coin,Nico and Percy are basically the same face.

All of the Big 3 children have similarities or have parallelism to each other: Thalia and Hazel (both come back from the dead and had to readjust to the years that passed, everything they know was now a distant memory); Jason and Bianca (both died when they were starting to figure out their life,after their memory loss); and there are others matches too: Thalia and Percy,Jason and Hazel,Jason and Nico,Bianca and Percy,Thalia and Nico,etc...

But Nico and Percy are just so similar to each other that sometimes it's hurt. They can't even have a good interaction most of the time because trauma is part of their relationship.

-this one’s basically canon but 8 has arithmomania. I say basically canon bc things in his house in Higgs often come in sets of 8, as well as his house being the 8th house despite there not BEING 8 houses. I think this would also extend to counting to 8 on his fingers when he’s nervous and such.

-tied in I also believe 8 has ocd. Borous has bpd.

-Dala was pretty reserved growing up, as she grew up/especially in the looped personality she became for lack of better terms “bolder and more flirty” as compensation for having been so withdrawn previously.

-I am wishy washy with a lot of gender headcanons for characters, my brain kinda just goes well idk if they’re trans but they’re not Not trans. However I do feel quite definitively that Dala is nb transfem, and Mobius and 0 are trans men.

-I think all of their names have some tie to the names they had pre recursion loop. Canonically both Klein’s name and his prewar last name start with K. I think the other’s names have similar ties.

-on that note, I think Borous’s old name (/just his family in general) has Painfully Russian origins. It makes his McCarthyism thing so hilariously ironic

-I think 8 is Canadian, but he only lived there pre annexation of Canada, he was working at big MT and living at Higgs once it happened.

-The think tank are all very close and got along much better prewar than they do at the time of the game. -8 never really liked talking much. Possibly having selective mutism. This was mostly fine for him because pre brain tank you have facial expressions and hands and hand gestures that kinda make up for not talking at times. After the brain tanks he was kind just. Forced to talk to relay information. His speech was extremely awkward and stilted, which combined with the above head canon is why Dala made that comment about how they like him better now that his voice modulator is broken.

•Chester definitely pranks you every day. I think it’s a fact for everyone! If you hate it, well you have to suck it up, alright!!! Because he will never ever, ever, ever change! He would and will poke fun at you around until you finally snap and despite that, he finds it funny (Unless he’s going to be in danger)! He is naturally chaotic and an extremely annoying person so while he may be laughing at you as you have been pied in the face, you know deep inside that’s how he shows affection!

•And you also know how he also shows affection? Gift giving! But don’t expect the best gifts from him. I swear half of his gifts would be pranks disguised as presents or if it isn't, inside would be some of the ugliest and silliest stuff. So it would be best if you had a low expectation of him…But there was also this one time when he surprisingly gave you a really nice gift…. Hey, maybe once in a while he will prepare you something nice! 

•Yes, I know, I am talking a LOT about pranks as his way of affection because it truly is. I feel like he struggles to show affection with the usual five love languages. He’s not the type of person to use words of affirmation or acts of service. Sure, he could do physical touch and such, but it doesn’t feel right. I think he jokes around too much that it just became the norm on how he shows his care for you now.

•His laugh is contagious, once in a while he would get a laugh out of you because of how silly he sounded! However, if you’re not the type of person to laugh easily, you would either be weirded out by him or give a small smile to him.

•OOH, okay so what I like to think whenever he gets flustered is that he would literally have different reactions to it. He’s like a wild card. Sometimes he can act a bit fruity, or he would act in a joking way where he would replicate like those ladies who get complimented and say, “Oh stop! You’re making me blush” as they do those hand movements, or maybe he would turn his head away from your direction and laugh it off. It’s all random! But if he’s ever truly flustered, I feel like he would hide his face under his hat as he grabs the ends of it, stammering random words, and his face will turn slightly pink!  He would probably be too shocked to process it! But that is like when he’s really REALLY dazed, and you have to be both strategic and lucky to get this special reaction since this guy is a trickster and he won’t let you get him that easily!

•Psst!! Here’s a little secret I can tell you… Chester will literally melt if you give him a nice, o’l pretty smile. He loves it so so much! You can see his face turning lovey-dovey for a split second! 

•Something similar to that, I feel like he loves to look at your face because he adores your reaction to whatever he does! He just lives for it, he’s always so giggly whenever you’re shocked, angry, or laughing! Chester would always say something along the lines like, “You should have seen the look on your face!” or “You were so silly when you did that!” I think that he’s someone who loves to see the reactions of people after he does something especially if it’s his loved one. Bonus points if you’re really expressive with your face. He will adore it!

•He follows you and is with you 24/7, not because he’s clingy, but probably because he’s plotting some sort of prank. 

•I could imagine him being such a hyper man, every time you stop into the candy store, he’s always bouncing everywhere. He’s like an animated character! It’s hard to keep track of him because of how chaotic he is?! Plus, the fact that he can hype up the room so easily just makes it worse for you (but better for him)!

•He’s definitely both flexible and acrobatic. I mean how else does he dodge Mandy’s shots? He’s probably agile too. Well, I like to think that sometimes he can shock or surprise you with a trick if not, an easy way to escape from you whenever you’re mad at him.

• If the Brawl Stars universe ever had an April Fool's Day, you have to be prepared to face literal WAR. Chester will literally prank you all day. Like oh, you opened the door? Splat! You got slime on your body! You were talking to your friends? Oh, they’re not your actual friends! They are just balloons filled with confetti that explode right at your face! Do you want to eat because you're hungry? Well too bad, it’s actually a piece of concrete that he disguised as a yummy treat! You for real can’t trust anyone or anything. You should both fear and dread this day when it’s coming up on your calendars. He WILL prepare the best, or in your case, the worst April Fool's Day ever.

•He would let you taste the candies he and Mandy are making. Sometimes it’s one of the best, gosh darn candies in the world holy moly?! Who knew that they could make candies taste so angelic? Well, it’s either that or they can explode you! Chester teases that he will never ever do that but he seems like the type of person to do it. So please take caution when he feeds you a sample of it.

•I like to believe he is a good candy maker (baker) and an artist. I have no idea how I came up with this but he gives me vibes that he will use those skills for both helping the candy store and his troublesome pranks.

•His hair definitely deflates whenever he’s sad like you could even see it just going down and being flat. Sometimes you even feel guilty because of how sorrowful he looks! His mood greatly affects the atmosphere of whatever room he’s in and if he’s feeling miserable then the room would be in a somewhat unpleasant situation.

•Occasionally he talks about social media. I enjoy thinking that he will literally look in a certain direction, break the fourth wall, and he will say his usual voice lines like “Mom! I’m on TV,” or whatever for funsies.

•Mandy either loves you or hates you, though not as much as she hates Chester. It honestly depends on your personality. If you’re someone who’s silly and mischievous that joins in with Chester’s shenanigans. She will dislike you similar to her opinion of Chester but if you’re more of someone who’s serious and oftentimes the victim of his jokes. She will feel sympathy for you and will tend to have a more fondness for you.

•Berry’s opinion towards you goes the same way but no matter what, he will accept you and will care for you. He had already considered you as part of his family as soon as Chester had introduced you to him.

•Chester’s definitely the type of person to enjoy pranking people but he’s not the one who enjoys being pranked. He will be super pouty about it for like at least a week. He’ll complain that he was the one who was supposed to be that since he’s the literal jester. But can’t everyone else have some fun too?

•Sometimes he does go too far with pranks, and he doesn’t even realize it all. He’s too busy laughing but once he notices your hurt expression whether it be an angry or crying face, it doesn’t matter if it’s to the point where he knows he messed up so badly. Let me tell you, he will be extremely guilty about it. 

•And if you’re injured, oh that’s the final straw. He will panic so badly. His hair deflates, he starts to sweat, maybe tearing up a bit, and just overall anxious. He can’t help it, seeing his lover hurt because of him which wasn’t even his intention in the first place. It just makes him so sad. He will apologize so badly, saying sorry for a whole while and I feel like he would lose some of his silly spark to the point where his boss and co-workers notice.

•He’s very good at mimicking people, surprisingly. He might as well be the next mime in Brawl Stars because of it! I feel like he could match people’s enthusiasm, their actions, and overall demeanor to the point he will use it to mock you. In a teasing way of course! I could just imagine him using a very high-pitched, baby voice to repeat what you said or exaggerate his movements whenever you do something. He finds it funny.

•He’s great at both starting fights and extinguishing them. I feel like he could be very sly with his words to turn a heated-up situation into a more fun one. You could say he’s even charming!

•However, if it doesn’t work and if it leads to you guys arguing or fighting, he’s actually a mature person. He’s very sincere with it and if it’s his fault, he’ll be ready to apologize. Hey just because he’s a clown doesn't mean it makes up his whole personality. Remember pranking is a way to show his affection, he’s not going to make being silly his “whole personality.”

•But I do like to believe he’s someone who doesn’t take most things seriously and oftentimes ignores the obvious warning signs that are wavering around him and that’s how he starts a lot of conflict in the first place.

•He’s very overdramatic, he’s great at acting too which makes it worse for you and better for him. He will use that card to attract attention so he can escape trouble or see you flustered. He will use every one of his cards so he can have an advantage!

•Overall he is a fun but extremely frustrating partner to have! 

Why was Chester both easy and hard to do. I feel proud on some headcanons but I also feel like some others could have been done better. But I hope you guys enjoy and have a good day!!

Subnautica: Below Zero is a story about loss, trust, and hope.

After finishing my most recent playthrough of Below Zero, while I was constructing AL-AN's vessel, I realized that there are some pretty major parallels between AL-AN and Sam that I think might tie in more to the story than previously thought. I had always felt Sam and AL-AN's stories were unusually disconnected. Still, after giving a little more thought, I think the parallels play a vital role in Robin's decision to go along with constructing AL-AN's vessel.

Both Sam and AL-AN caused terrible accidents by attempting to solve an issue in a way they thought would be best. They work under a very similar archetype in which a typically composed and rule-following character is stressed due to external pressures. Pushed into taking action. Sam caused Parvan's death and her own by disobeying orders from Alterra and trying to exterminate the last of the Kharaa. AL-AN caused the Kharaa to escape in the first place by doing a similar insubordinate action. Ignoring the directive from his network.

They not only both caused accidents resulting in deaths, but both revolved around ignoring a higher order involving the Kharaa bacterium. Doing something they thought would make a difference under extreme pressure. Irrational thinking ultimately causing disaster.

If you complete Sam's storyline first, it will lead you, the player, into be more open with feeling sympathetic towards AL-AN despite him manipulating Robin. Mostly because it is obvious he is extremely ashamed and is dealing with the sorrow of (potentially) losing his entire species. Though also because it is reminiscent of Sam.

But it is not just you who sympathizes with AL-AN; it is Robin herself as well.

Robin is dealing with a similar sorrow of losing her sister—who was everything to her—because Sam did what she thought would be right. She shares things with AL-AN, assuring him even when she is unsure of him. She knows he is going through his own hardships. Deciding to promote hope even in a time where it seems unlikely. After AL-AN admits to Kharaa getting out on his watch, Robin understands to a degree and offers to help AL-AN because she couldn’t help Sam.

AL-AN himself most likely understands this.

AL-AN begins to open up and trust Robin after she shares the Emily Dickinson poem. After she has this interaction with him, he often attempts to be more understanding with her. He is choosing to imitate Robin's hope. He does not fully understand human social customs, but he can recognize when Robin is conflicted about Sam's death. Even trying in his own way to comfort her. He is dealing with loss as well. Even if he doesn't outwardly show vulnerability until they talk in the Fabrication Facility.

AL-AN knows Robin is going through loss as well. The person she lost did something similar to him, and yet she does not blame Sam. Grief does not go away, but the wound gets smaller over time. She is relieved to get closure to Sam's story even if it still hurts.

If they hadn’t had the conversation about closure after Robin finished Sam's work via curing the Frozen Leviathan, then AL-AN probably wouldn't have revealed what he did at all. He didn’t have to, but he did because they had developed trust. He is, of course, reluctant when doing so, as he is afraid he won’t get his autonomy, yet he does despite it being illogical. Acknowledging his actions even when he predicted she’d be angry. Despite his shame, he chooses to place trust in Robin even when it could result in her pulling away. He trusts that she won't.

Below Zero is such a good story about loss and learning how to cope with that loss despite it still hurting. Learning to trust even when the odds of the circumstances are against you. It is a story about hope.

Let's talk about MC and Mammon's friendship (like I haven't spoken about it enough)

(platonically) general MC is probably the closest with Mammon:

• Beel mentions this in early S1 - saying that MC frequently seeks Mammon out to talk with him

• Levi mentions this in both S2 and Nightbringer

• Belphie briefly implies it in a chat

• Mammon has spoken about it multiple times

• Mammon & MC have been sharing a room frequently enough for him to leave his toothbrush and phone charger in their room from early S1 all the way up to S4

• His birthday is the only one they took charge and planned on their own, starting the gift giving a whole week before the actual date

• He's the only person in the circus event that they instantly remembered without having to talk with him first

• He's the first one in Nightbringer to fully accept them and start bringing them into the family shenanigans

• There are dialogue options like this, that aren't really options at all

• He's always their first - their first friend in every timeline and alternate universe

Okay so, now to the actual point of the post:

Solomon (in Nightbringer) asks MC if they've made any progress towards making the new pacts and MC says they're working on Mammon.

We know, obviously, why MC picks Mammon:

• He's their first. Not only does it seem like the right thing, they know him enough to know he'll throw a huge tantrum if he wasn't their first

• He's the safest and easiest option (I speak about this in more detail here) but basically he's the most settled after the Fall, the least likely to react badly or in anger, the least likely to accidentally hurt them and an extremely loyal ally (post here)

• Most importantly, he's their friend and they genuinely just like spending time with him

Solomon however, says something along the lines of picking Mammon being a smart choice because Mammon seems lonely.

Solomon's first thought was to see MC and Mammon's relationship from a strategic point of view. He saw a weakness (a true weakness btw, I actually have half a fic written from a year ago about Mammon being lonely in the Celestial Realm and I really need to complete it) and he exploited it to get what he wanted - similar to how he made a pact with Asmo in the present day timeline.

Solomon saying/doing this isn't really a bad thing, but I think it really adds to his character and shows his differences when compared to MC. It also really adds weight to the whole:

• locked away in a basement and hidden from the world during his childhood

• had one childhood friendship which is implied to have ended badly

• spent thousands of years without any real friends despite the fact that he had at least three people (Asmo, Barbatos and Thirteen) who genuinely cared for him

• admitted to not seeing the demons he made pacts with as friends until either s3 or 4, despite the fact that, even pre-series, Solomon is one of the people Asmo genuinely likes, cares about, values the opinion of, wants to impress and initially feels nervous around because of this

I just...

I love it when they give you a smiley and chill, kinda goofy, character whose past is a little mysterious and then you figure out oh he's got a tragic past and also his world view and thought processes are very messed up but also a product of his past

As I stated in my introduction, I shifted to multiple au's of the canon version, so they were different dr's each time. I haven't shifted yet to a dr where I was in UA, but I still had so much fun!

I'll divide the descriptions in two categories to make it more organized and easy to read.

✮⋆˙ 𝑇𝑦𝑝𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑑𝑟'𝑠

Premise: everytime I shifted to a mha dr, it was set in my house or an outside place similar to my hometown. I want to say that the location choice was completely unintentional, but I came to the conclusion that I must've shifted in places that are familiar to me because I'm subconsciously afraid of leaving my house for a long time since I'm not used to traveling or staying away for long. Still, they were full shifts and I'm extremely happy with the resultsー here's the list of dr's 🙂‍↕️

In terms of "realism" of course everything felt real, because it was real. In my case every dr was in 3d, so the people were exactly as they are here; everyone had their own personality and traits, and I think that's what most makes you realize that you are actually there and you're not dreaming. You come to the realization that your friends are actually real people and not characters anymore, and by being close totl them, you also realize how human they are: they each have their favorite TV shows, hobbies, their own way of speaking... It's kind of insane when you first realize it.

✮⋆˙ 𝑃𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒

I spent time with Bakugo, Kirishima, Shinsou, Ojiro and the girls so far. One thing I've noticed is that sexism is not even a thing in my drs, and that genuinely shocked me. Like, in other realities women are not seen as objects and are actually treated like people with feelings. No sexist jokes, no weird stares, no lewd comments, not a single hand touching where it shouldn't be. It was actually insane to me. What shocked me the most is that Katsuki of all people is the most respectful to women in 1A along with Kirishima. 😭

If you're curious, here's a brief description of their personalities ˙ᵕ˙

𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐬𝐮𝐤𝐢: he looks the meanest, but he's actually the sweetest after kirishima. He always has his death stare mode on and the first that would come in mind is that he's either real mad or really bored- truth is, that's just his resting face and he can switch emotions in the blink of an eye. He's the most caring and nurturing man I've ever met, surprisingly. He gets annoyed really fast and has an incredibly short temper, but despite that, he can be really romantic and nice when he wants to. Also his hair is reeeeally soft and his muscles and build are insane lol😭 I could talk about him for hours (he also rides a black bike and secretly cares a lot about deku and his health/safety)

𝐊𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐚: the sweetest of them all. He's like a brother to me and trust me when I tell you he's EXTREMELY EMPATHETIC, like, empath final boss typa shit. You cannot hide literally anything from him because he'll notice it anyway, and he's always waiting for you with open arms whenever he does. He gives the best hugs ever and he's also really fond of older women, always offering them his help or keeping them company (my mom and him adored each other😭🥹). He's an extrovert and could talk with walls if they could answer back lmao. Also, his hair hardens as well when he actives his quirk and he loves pranking people whenever he hugs someone by turning his quirk on

𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐚: that girl is nosy af but she's sooo funny. Probably the funniest of the group. She's obsessed with dragon trainer and jjk, and would kill to buy a collab doll-dragon collection that happened in my dr. She likes to tease her girls and she's probably the bravest out of our female group, although it's clear that she's scared even when she's acting confident. Really loud, but really nice and tends to include everyone. Once again, she's really nosy and devours any type gossip up lmaooo🙏🏻

𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐮: Shinsou is my bsf and he's introverted af. I barely remember his face, because I was kind of sleeping when I was interacting with him. I remember we were in math class and I was falling asleep by how boring it was, and when he noticed, he started pinching my hands and cracking jokes in my ears so that I would wake up 😭💘. He's really tall and his voice is so deep it literally shakes my core lol, also he uses a perfume that's really strong and menly. Eventually he gave up on trying not to let me fall asleep and he leaned closer with his shoulder so that I could sleep with my head resting on it. I swear I could feel him smile, but I was too tired and fell asleep. He's so precious it makes my heart want to cry

As for Ojiro and the other girls, I can barely remember them. Ojiro was also shaking my hand to wake me up in math class and mouthing me to stay awake, but I was too sleepy to register anything- he seemed really nice though. The girls on the other hand were with me exploring around that abandoned building, but I had just shifted and I hadn't realized that yet, so I didn't pay attention to their appearance but instead to what was happening and the adrenaline rush I was having.

Also, present mic was the first person I ever heard in my first accidental shift. THAT MAN IS SO FUCKING LOUD I'M SURPRISED THAT MY EARDRUMS WERE INTACT YET. LITERALLY WHAT THE FUCK. AND HE'S SO STRICT THAT IT'S INSUFFERABLE, GOD 😭😭

Yellowjackets theory sort of more like an observation adding to an existing theory

Okay so I'm incredibly fixated on yellowjackets at the moment, i haven't had an idea of what to post and have just been basking in the fandom

But I had an idea that links to the idea that Melissa is going to betray Shauna.

Now this doesn't necessarily mean that Melissa's feelings for Shauna are disingenuous, they probably are genuine to some extent since she was willing to risk her life for a kiss but that doesn’t mean we can’t have her do a little backstabbing, I mean this show is iconic for the character’s complicated feelings in relationships. There's a few reasons that I think whether premeditated or not she is gonna betray Shauna. The one most interesting to me is with Shauna & Adams affair in season 1

A relationship that mirrors this one: Shauna seeking this person as a way to feel like she has power over someone or something where in her life she currently feels powerless. The target is obediently giving her exactly what she wants and allowing themself to be strung along by Shauna, making it seem and feel like she's in power. However, they are learning a lot about Shauna but Shauna doesn't know much about them in return. With Adam this results in a perceived betrayal.

When Shauna confronts him, she is of course extremely upset as you would but not only that she's also having a full on trauma response judging by the flashbacks to the wilderness, the reverting back to her teen self and ofc the stab. Now you could argue that she's having this response simply because she feels threatened or hurt and its causing those instincts and coping mechanisms she developed in the wilderness to kick in, definitely. However in her dialogue there's a very specific focus on the betrayal side of it, how she regrets opening up and getting close to this person as shes having flashbacks to the wilderness, how she feels stupid for letting her guard down which you would especially feel if you'd been through this before.

Plus later when she shows Tai & Nat his dead body in between being pretty apathetic she suddenly gets very emotional again when specifically thinking and talking about it, when saying she trusted/thought he loved her and he was going to hurt her/lying to her, despite the fact that she already knows he wasnt the blackmailer at this point. You could say shes lying but we’ve been shown many times that Shauna is a terrible liar. This could point to the fact that she's actually remembering a different time this happened instead. And everything she's saying sounds really personal and could all be things that maybe Melissa did to her.

She's having a personal resonse to the betrayal, at that point in the story there wasn't a relationship in the wilderness she had that mirrored what she had with Adam. Now this season we’re seeing her in an awfully similar situationship

Also this is especially relevant to Shauna this season since she is currently the most closed off she's ever been in the teen timeline so being betrayed would currently trigger her even worse than normal. And something vulnerable about herself has already been revealed to Melissa: the way she’s still holding onto her baby, in general Melissa seems to know a lot about Shauna already and shes getting closer to her. In both Shauna gets to feel a sense of freedom and she gets to feel safe and happy with another person for a bit in a way she hasn't in a while. Both relationships also carry a theme of being able to show the bad parts of themselves/parts of themselves they want to hide around each other, Shauna & Adam were having an affair & doing a lot of reckless activities acting like teens again and Shauna and Melissa are being malicious & trying to get a guy killed...obviously the stuff she was doing with Adam was more mild but you get my point right? Shauna gets to feel in power and free, with Adam it gets pulled out from under her causing a violent emotional reaction from her since she was finally able to trust someone again, it makes sense if they mirrored the same thing happening with Melissa

I'm just noticing the similarities between these two relationships for Shauna. The adult timeline's goal is to show how the events of the past affect them now so it’s a good way for them to subtly hint at future events in the teen timeline and if Melissa does betray Shauna it would then give more context to Shauna's reaction in the scene with Adam.

Now some extra spitballing here: if this does happen and sticking with the idea that Melissa does die in the wilderness cuz thats what i hope, this could result in Shauna reacting the same way she did to Adam and stabbing her, which would be ironic cuz Melissa gave her a sheath for her knife. This could possibly kick off the hunting and cannibalism again, that would be a great way to start it up again. Shauna once again eating someone she was a bit fruity for, that would link to her and Jackie’s relationship. If Melissa did survive, Shauna stabbing Adam could be her doing something she’d wished she’d done last time. Although its unlikely, if Melissa betrays Shauna I highly doubt she would live through it. Looking forward to it :)

Ok so, for my loz oomfs who aren't versed into fire emblem, innes is a semi plot relevant character from the game fire emblem: sacred stones for the gba

Innes is an overconfident, proud, blunt, brash, smart, perfectionist, super tsundere crown prince, he's known to be the best archer and tactician in the entire continent, and yet, no matter what he does, he is always compared and is always somehow second best to Ephraim, the prince from the neighboring kingdom

Which is why the headcanon that Innes' brash and egotistical/overconfident attitude is actually to mask his huge inferiority complex towards Ephraim makes sense to me lol also Innes has a one-sided rivalry with Ephraim, he is obsessed to show him he's the best prince, much to Eph's annoyance lol

This is him, i want y'all to look at how pretty he is, I would die for him, but i'd also put him in a blender and then analyze him under a microscope

ANYWAY now that the intro to my bestie (innes) is done, the Link I believe he'd get along with best is probably Wars lol

I was thinking that maybe he could get along with Legend but Innes would probably hate Legend, like Leg is too similar personality wise but lacks Innes' extreme overconfidence and bluntness and also, Innes would probably see himself too much in Legend and like, I don't think he'd be gentle, like "oh you are mean to mask ur emotional insecurities too?? I will be EXTRA MEAN back instead of bonding over it" kinda way lmao classic innes, which would make everything worse lmao anyway keep those two away

Now, for Wars, I can see it, but like, hear me out first

Innes means well, he is actually pretty soft under his thousand layers of pride and bluntness, but he has zero charisma, and thus interacting with the more soft/nice Links would result in disaster, in Innes' game the only people he has supports with are the ones who talk back to him and are mean to him back, I've always liked the idea that softness and niceness puts him off a lil bit, he feels more comfortable with people who can respond to his banter lol

Now, Innes actually really likes and respects a character named Gerik, who's the best mercenary in the continent and who's under Innes' command but speaks to him freely

Innes respects him and actually admires Gerik and seeks out advice to him, another one of innes' subordinates is Vanessa, and Innes also likes her cause despite Vanessa being under his command, she also speaks freely to him

I can see something like that happening with wars, like wars is an army captain, a tactician, a perfectionist and also uses his overconfidence and pride as a way to mask his trauma and imposter syndrome, like they're pretty similar with the big difference that wars has like extreme charisma while innes doesn't lmao also wars isn't blunt or brash, but he can banter and reply back

Which is why I feel they'd get along best, Innes is a prince, but his entire inferiority complex is cause a fellow prince, his equal, is better than him

Wars is an army captain and not royalty, even if Wars were to be better at stuff than Innes, I don't think Innes would like, see him as a threat to his abilities since Wars isn't royalty and thus isn't an equal to him lmao

Wars would know how to handle Innes since he knows his way around nobles and royalty, Innes would probably really like Wars' perfectionism and attention to detail and also his leadership skills

I can see them exchanging tactics and comparing strategies, they'd both probably geek out over it lol

I can see Innes being his blunt brash mean self towards wars a couple of times and wars not replying back cause like, Innes is a prince and Wars is just a captain, but I like to think wars probably replies back someday and throws some banter Innes' way and oh that's settles.it, he is now Innes' fave lmao

I feel like Innes could absolutely banter with legend too, but they'd be hurtful to each other, I can see innes having playful banter with wars though, like wars would know how to deal with blunt royalty he can play innes like a fiddle lmao

oh yeah! here are some backstory details about them that are mostly silly, just for the fun of it

im personally just going with the idea that splinter named them early for simplicity's sake, the names are the same as canon.

draxum took a little too long to see them as children instead of weapons, which is an influence on their behavior. he's always treated them with this adult-like seriousness that was questionable when they're younger, but it makes them INFURIATED when people talk down to them or treat them like children as teenagers.

this will influence their dynamics with raph greatly.

donnie was the stickler/tattletale between the two, but to call leo the troublemaker would be an UNDERSTATEMENT. huginn and muninn literally could not take care of him in draxum's absence because he would go full fucking home alone on them. with donnie at his side they would make Death Traps

this is actually how they ended up meeting big mama. draxum went to a meeting with her and had to bring leo along because he wouldn't behave, and donnie tagged along because leo threw a screeching fit when draxum said they were going to leave him behind and would not stop until he gave in, they were like 6. big mama adopted them immediately.

leo calls her auntie by her request and learned a lot of his tactics from her. i am under the opinion that she would be a HORRIBLE mother but she's a wonderful aunt you only see occasionally. she spoils them rotten and likes them way more than draxum, that bad bad man. they're too good for him! (THEY ARE MENACES)

if they learned about what she did to splinter they wouldn't even be surprised. leo would be impressed, really

they were pretty well-trained in combat from an early age, although they slipped up a lot. leo has stabbed donnie several times, mostly on accident but probably on purpose at least once. they are extremely casual about this and treat it like a funny joke to the horror of their family

they are also utterly inseparable. they dont keep anything from each other ever and have an insane amount of separation anxiety and codependence going on. they also try to kill each other on a regular basis /hj

since draxum is head of security in the hidden city, they've done some odd jobs before as training and know their way around it like little nepo babies!!!!

speaking of, the fact that theyre technically rich means i can make both of them fashionistas and annoying as fuck about it. theyre so intense about the outfits.

S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N already exists in a way that went down very similar to smart lair lmao. leo reprogrammed him because he was being annoying, and then broke him when he was being annoying again despite the fact that it's literally his fault. S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N continues to get broken a lot and donnie just rebuilds him.

he thinks its mildly annoying how much leo dislikes him, because he's "closer to S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N's father than [he is]." like man the fuck up and pay child support you baby.

draxum is very indulgent in donnie's hobbies and investment in building despite his limited knowledge of human technology, honestly more than splinter is in canon. although he is secretly a little scared of him and what he's capable of.

donnie was given a bo staff because it was the most non-lethal option draxum could think of

What I Liked About Dragon Age: The Veilguard

I keep seeing extremely negetive comments about Veilguard, even nearly two months after the game has been released, and that is insane to me.

Now, I'll admit that I had my own gripes about the game. But I have decided that I am not going to focus soley on the negatives. That makes me and everyone around me angry and miserable and that is not why I am on Tumblr.com. I am here for the memes and to talk about Dragon Age man.

So, I have decided to be the change I want to see in the world and make a non-exhaustive list of all of the things that I LIKED about Veilguard.

The Companions: I loved them. I loved their story arcs. I think they were well-written and very Dragon Age-y. They reminded me of the DA:O crew in a good way. I also can see what Bioware meant when they talked about the found family vibes.

The Art Style: This art style is my favorite out of all of the Dragon Age games. I've always prefered a more styalized look, because it's fun but mostly because it ages SO MUCH BETTER than a more realistic style in video games. Games like Zelda, Fable, etc still look pretty good today because they all have a more styalized look. At least in my opinion.

The Animation: This could go along with the art style, but I wanted to make it a seperate category. The animation in Veilguard was fantastic. The facial expressions on the characters were so well done. Ghila'nain moved like a Little Nightmares character which was great. Characters actually held onto their mugs!

The Voice Acting: Every Bioware game I've ever played has fantastic voice acting though. *shrugs*

The Seige of Weisshaupt: Was an absolutley fantastic moment in the game. Having a terrifying face hover over you while you desperately try to fight your way through the hordes of Darkspawn? Being led to safety by some random, badass kid? Davrin killing a Darkspawn's cousin last week? Lucanis not being able to stab a cloud? Perfection.

Being Able to Pet All the Cats and Dogs (and Assan): This speaks for itself tbh.

The Ossuary: Dude, walking into that funky underwater prison and seeing a massive aquatic creature swim by you was such a neat moment. I really enjoyed that area. That's also where we get to meet Lucanis and Spite, so yay!

The Fade Fish Tank: For similar reasons to above. I just think fish are cool ok? I also spent a little more time than I probably should have watching the fish swim back and forth.

Photo Mode: I love when games have a photo mode and I LOVED Veilguard's photo mode. I also love all of the photos that the community have been taking.

The Combat: The combat was really fun. I don't remember having as much fun with combat in a Dragon Age game as I had with Veilguard. You can tell the team put a lot of time and effort into it and it shows.

The Fact That We Got a Game At All: Look. After ten years of development hell, I wouldn't have been surprised if the game got scrapped. Yet somehow, despite the odds, the team at Bioware managed to deliver a finished game despite the odds stacked against them. Is it perfect? No. But it's here and it's real and out there for us to either love it or hate it despite the many times Bioware could have thrown in the towel.

This is mainly a design I mocked up to make writing him easier on my brain since having a physical image for me to reference and describe is significantly easier on my brain than not having one. I'm assuming that's a reference to his LifeSteal designs either way i think the concept is sick and wanted to work with a character that has that detail worked into the fic as something they need to work with/around since this is a combat heavy series which I'd imagine wouldn't be easy to do with one eye, but not impossible. girlboss is gonna have it rough in the fic though tried to make the scar more obviously trident-shaped? since that's where I'd imagine he'd get it assuming he was sent to the sword civilization against his will? rather than to actually retrieve the eternal sword on his own accord like Tabi was. idk hopefully s2 don't fuck me up some expression testing + additional notes on behavior

(excuse him he's been shaved for this, also IDs in alt) disclaimer uh. very minimal research was done for his behaviors. i'm not a medical professional but i did find a giant thread full of folks who had half-blindness who did mention the head tilt thing as a thing that they did, facial paralysis is from the injury assuming the trident went deep enough to do nerve damage thus the whole 'one side moves other side doesn't' my apolocheese for inaccuracy I'm sure that the tilt thing and the facial paralysis thing are probably a bit too extreme to some folks but due to my artstyle being very exaggerated, this too had to be exaggerated for it to be something noticeable, otherwise its completely hidden despite me being mostly focused towards expressions i have made a decision that might seem jarring to some to..limit the faces of characters in my fic. mainly because all of them are hiding or masking something underneath, it just suits them well to have this be a trait that everyone in pvp civilization shares in various ways Characters like Evbo, Julie, Tabi and Parrot are more obvious masking via emotional repression rather than a physical mask that they wear Wemmbu, Ferre, The Guard Friend and Zam mask due to wearing some form of face covering but once that face covering comes off then they start to be a bit more honest, not having anywhere to hide MinuteTech masks via..other means. More on him specifically later when i get around to designing him. he's fascinating is all im gonna say There are of course other characters in this fic, Marty and Ellie are two iron-sword level specific OCs I made for the sole purpose of being evil, and they are shockingly the only two people in the fic that are full on honest with themselves and others. They have their shit figured out (so I wont feel bad killing them off hehe) PVP Language guy and the similar Wooden Plank guy are the two non-main characters turned major characters that due to their species, literally don't have a face nor a proper voice for others to understand what they are thinking, but if you give them a way to talk, then they will! This project be warned: gonna take a long time. I'm notoriously slow at pumping good quality stuff out. I'm working on like 4? other character refs at the time of writing this and I am nowhere near finished with any of them. Dear god.

DUDE DUDE DUDE DUDE I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS. Gonna be a LONG post. Bear with me, pun intended

Okay I have Judith on both of their playlists for almost completely different reasons. I'll get to Thomas once I'm finished with my extensive yap session on Judith

Talking about Alex AND Bear because I have thoughts about Judith for both of them first

For Alex, I was thinking more something along the lines of the way he idolized Rip, and the way he thought of his mother.

See, I'm not immune to giving characters strained relationships with religion (growing up Catholic and Christian would do that to you). And though you see Alex doesn't have any bad blood with religion in the times Bear mentions his faith outside of him saying he essentially doesn't believe in it, I like to think he grew up in a passively religious household. With a mother who tried to tell him that prayer would fix things, despite it never doing anything. It always became some kind of excuse or a reason Alex wasn't allowed to do something because 'god wouldn't have wanted him to'/'what would god think about that?'. And, of course, Alex never believed in any of that. It only made him angry especially as a teenager when his mother would say over and over that they just didn't pray enough, or go to church enough, and that's why god never helped them.

But, ALSO, on the same page with Alex's mother...

These lyrics:

That specifically is what started me thinking about him and his mother, because it's mentioned that in that one interview (though we don't know to what extremes) she abused him. Growing up with that, framing everything he knew as a kid, taking away small things while having him tip-toe around in fear of a reaction or punishment.

But there's also the way abusers will treat themselves as all holy and above their victim. Kids need their parents, and if their needs aren't met and they're neglected, their minds fill it in with how it must be their own fault they aren't loved—while begging for a parent to see them. So...

"How you're savior has abandoned you"

"Praise the one who left you broken down and paralyzed, He did it all for you"

And then something a little similar for the way I think about it with Alex and Rip

The betrayal of seeing Rip get lost to addiction and then him killing that kid, when Alex saw him as something far more than just a leader. That all crumbling down the more he watches Rip get exceedingly more lost, more angry and hateful.

But there's that voice reminding him how much Rip sacrificed for him, for the team.

"He did it all for you"

Also, dare I say...

"He did it all for you" but it's Bear saving Alex's life over and over

Okay now to Bear because I have MANY feelings about it and it'll probably be far less coherent

I adore his writing throughout the show SO goddamn much. Questioning everything so much and being so sure he's let down a god he's starting to lose faith in. GOD it's so good.

But actually onto the song bit before I get off track too much

Obviously we're gonna start with the beginning

"oh so many ways for me to show you how your savior has abandoned you"

Sarah's death, failure to give Lena the kid she wanted, Rip being kidnapped, Buckley dying, being unable to generally protect his team, Alex's TBI, Lena's death. The list, I swear, it just keeps going. He has never had a day of peace in his life. He can pray as much as he wants, go to church, go to confession, but it never made a difference, did it? Death follows him, he kills everything he loves.

"fuck your god, your lord, your christ (he did this)"

The anger of never being helped and saved the way he prayed over and over. The hatred for the way he can do everything right, and it still always falls through. Someone gets hurt, he loses another piece of him.

"took all you had, and (left you this way). Still you pray, never stray, never (never taste of the fruit)"

No matter how much he gives, how many times his knees hit the kneelers in the pews of the church, how many times he dares to sit in the dark booth of the confessional, no sins he's ever repented for ever made anything better. And yet, he still goes back and tries over and over without ever getting the relief of his god giving him what he's been praying for. He remains faithful, even as it all comes crashing around him, he kneels in the rubble because if he prayed enough, he could still be saved—though maybe his sins are too heavy now.

"even though he's the one who did this to you, never thought to question why"

In a way, I think some of Alex's questioning and influence rubbed off on him in his vulnerable, confused state with how many times he told Bear to "let the universe do its thing". Making him truly think about the fact that his faith has gotten him nowhere but further inside his head.

"Not like you killed someone, it's not like you drove a spiteful spear into his side. Talk to Jesus Christ as if he knows the reasons why, he did it all for you."

Bear trying to reason why his prayers were never answered when others got theirs. He confessed, he repented, he went to church, he did everything right. No matter how much he prays, he never gets an answer.

Bear is so helpless I love him. I love hurting him. I love reading into him. ANYWAY

Now onto Thomas...

"humble and helpless, learning to pray, praying for visions to show me the way"

After losing so much, being unable to find his own way back to both himself and the church, Bear feels like he has to start all over again just to get back to the way he felt about his faith before all this. It used to feel so correct on him, back when he hadn't done anything wrong yet. He needs something to guide him back when he can't enter those doors by himself yet—he doesn't want to

"Allow me to be forgiven, show me the way to let go, show me the way to forgive you"

His anger and guilt always makes itself front and center when he tries to get on his knees and pray the way he was taught. He can't let go and forgive himself, but he can't forgive his god either. It's not something he can do by himself, after the horrible things he's done, all the blood on his hands never washes away and leaves him stained.

"I'm just praying for you to show me where I'm to begin"

Getting silence after begging and pleading for there to be any sign to show him his way back, trying over and over because that's all he's ever been able to fall back on. A god he can't see, a religion he's losing faith in. He can't begin again, and there's no one to guide him back anymore

He needs it, more than anything. Going to talk with his priest, trying to find an answer for the bad things that happened because of him. Using his questions to try to reach out and get a grasp on any remainder of the god he's been pulling away from for too long.

There's nowhere else to go. The hand he reaches out never meets anything, despite his prayers and cries, there's no one on the other side hearing him.

"Hoping to... (hoping to), help me to reconnect to you"

But he still tries, he goes back and sits at the very back in the pews, with his head down and his rosary in his hands. Following along with mass, muttering everything back as prompted. He needs to find his way back, even though he can't grab anything when he reaches out anymore, it feels like his pleas go out to an empty room and only he can hear them echo back to him.

If he keeps trying, if he begs enough, someone would hear his prayers and he'd be back where he was before—content in his faith

Okay so before I start @immadatdisney2 made a really good post of all our findings so I’ll mostly add my thoughts to it.

Considering we’re having his cause of death be Ulla’s possession his powers would include things she could do, like telekinesis and idfk fire?

After leaving Hugo he kinda just wanders for a few days before just completely running headfirst into the Vee Tower and then fighting someone there. Of course Vox is watching and is like “Who is this child”

He sees the power in Varian, helps him out during the Extermination cause thats literally in a few hours

Vox: Kid why aren’t you hiding?

Varian: Why do I need to hide?

Vox: …If you don’t wanna die get inside.

Then Vox does his thing, Varian feels happy to have someone who’s not hostile for once. Definitely info dumps about Hugo. UNTIL OF COURSE he realizes Vox is manipulating him, cause they’re the same tactics that Andrew used

It’s been probably a week now since the Extermination, meaning that it’s Episode 1! Varian sees Alastor’s terrible ad but despite its bad quality it’s still a chance of salvation so he goes.

It’s after Charlie has left so Vaggie answers the door and is actually surprised to have a dude that actually wants to get redeemed.

I think when Charlie appears Varian has either a panic attack or just a complete spike of fear and disbelief-he ENTIRELY believes this chick is Rapunzel at first.

He's still gonna have a blue outfit so it’ll stick him out of the crowd and eyesore of red, but I do think having his old s3 bandanna would be nice cause I really liked that

I think a pivoting moment that would actually add to Charlie’s development in this is when Varian actually opens up he finally admits that he’s a CHILD (18 but you stop being a teen when your 20 fight me)

Angel post Masquerade would probably talk to Varian about smth they have in common- their families are pretty similar if ya think about it: Kind sister, annoying older brother and not the best dad.

I think Varian and Lucifer would get along a lot. (Not just my JJ bias or my favorite character bias) In Varian’s words: “Dads, am I right?”

Hugo would be just Angel but a rat, maybe 4 arms included

After they part ways Hugo would kinda just vibe till he runs into I.M.P. I think during the Extermination he kinda just hid behind Carmilla because I really want them to interact for some reason.

He meets Moxxie first and just can’t help but think of Varian cause like dude they are pretty similar right I’m not crazy

Anyway he gets to meet Blitzø and he’s like, “Do ya need someone killed?”

To which Hugo is like, “Wait that’s what this business does? Can I join?”

I think to “keep an eye on him” Blitzø would force Loona to bunk with Hugo to which makes them even more insufferable as a duo-when they stop bickering with each other Moxxie better fucking run. I think what’d be perfect is the events of Mastermind make Hugo realize he wants to see Varian again

Idk the timeline between HB and HH but let’s just say the finale of both shows have happened-s1 for Hazbin and s2 for Helluva. Lucifer finally notices all the shit that went down with Blitzø and Stolas so he invites em over to say “Hey my bad”

Shroobs

Going to talk about them as a collective here (so this includes all shrooboids and shroobsworths and whatnot), but first of all I fucking love the shroobs. I think the concept of a fungus alien that weaponizes mycorrhizae is ingenious, and their blank little gaping mouth expression is hilarious. THAT BEING SAID, orbulon would be a little less receptive to them. Given that he's been trying to take over the world for 1000 years, and they almost conquered it in like 2 seconds, he would probably be scared shitless. 0/10 too scary

Tatanga

A lot of people ask me about this one. "Would tatanga and orbulon be buddies? They are both aliens that worked for wario!" And to that I say no. Yes, they are both diminutive little aliens bent on conquering the world. However, so are Shroobs. Not only would orbulon be similarly intimidated by someone way more competent at doing so than his lazy ass, but tatanga, notably, does NOT respect women - he kidnapped the resident red-haired girl to try and force her to become his bride, something that would not fly with orbulon given that he is best friends with a red-haired girl and is also occassionally one himself. Furthermore, while Orbulon works for Wario because Wario offered him a place to stay in his hour of need and they are friends, Tatanga worked for Wario because he was really mad that their mutual enemy stopped him from forcing someone to become his bride. (This was also during Wario's evil phase, so he didn't really care about that as long as Mario got walloped. Which he didn't. Good going, Tatanga.) Fortunately, Orbulon never had to cross paths with tatanga due to my pet theory that he was asleep for the entirety of Super Mario Land. 2/10 incel

X-Nauts

You may be sensing a pattern here. This is another one that Orbulon is not a fan of, but this is also one that he's actually around for. Unlike the invasion of the Shroobs, which he was around for but not invested in Earth beyond a potential conquest yet, or the invasion of Tatanga, which he was asleep for and didn't find out about until he woke up to a million missed notifications on his dashboard about Unknown Spacecrafts Near You, this happened around the events of Warioware Touched (if you decide to view mario games as happening concurrently with wario games released at the same time, which is a fun thought exercise if you ignore enough things.) SO, if we arranged the timeline just so, we could pretend that he had an experience like this:

Squirps

There is absolutely no chance of Squirps and Orbulon interacting or having interacted. Which is a shame, because they'd probably get along better than most aliens on this list. Squirps would probably regard Orbulon as a weird old man, despite technically being at most half a century younger than him. Orbulon would think he was a cute kid but likely be overwhelmed by his energy as Squirps runs laps around him (similar to Kat and Ana). 7/10 just make sure he doesn't bite you
