Brand Creation Process Notes: Peregrine
Part 1
So I felt for a long time like I was neglecting my main muse just because I didn't have the patterns I needed to meet my Very Specific Vision of a brand, and by the time I'm getting around to making this post I Have Found The Lolita Dresses And Can Die Happy but even so, the rest of her brand is still just. So satisfying to me.
I knew from the start that I wanted to do a something reminiscent of a luxury/girly kei brand, with a stronger, darker color palette. I knew for a while that I wanted navy to be my base color, with cream and maybe gold, but I wasn't sure what to do for an accent color. I eventually settled on two--a jade green and a mulberry color--and while they do look nice together, they're not meant to be used in the same outfit. It's more designed so that you can pick a dominant color--navy or cream or a balance of both--and an accent color--jade or mulberry--and mix and match any of the pieces until you have a cromulent outfit.
I'm describing it a little backwards, because I ended up waiting for patterns before I picked the colors. Even though the site I was using to compare color palettes has HSB, the colors display a little differently in game. The lighter navy is much brighter and feels more saturated in game, and the off-white feels much closer to white than to the cream. The only way to see those differences was to test them on actual patterns in-game, and it wasn't fun for me to test them on patterns I wouldn't be using and exit out.
So, I had to wait for patterns.
As I said above, i really wanted Peregrine's brand to be something between cute and elegant, and evocative of a luxury brand (I say, as someone who has never shopped at a luxury brand in my life). In terms of patterns, I knew I wanted a lot of fluffy knitwear, lace, cute dresses, suits and the depressingly few boy lolita patterns we have in game for the type Bs (mens fashion git gud challenge). But I really wanted the overall image to be fairly fancy and elegant. I wanted to make things that would work well with the lolita dresses when I finally was able to work them in, rather than make things that I was likely to stop using.
It was also really important to me to make a feminine brand that didn't have floral patterns. First of all, this brand is for me first. I hope the rest of you like it, but I came here to make art for me first. And I like floral patterns, but I get frustrated at not being able to find things in patterns that I do like. Thus, Peregrine's brand gets lace and bows patterns, subtle polka dots and pinstripes, plaids, and as many of the star patterns as I can make look classy instead of florals. I might make an exception for one or two of the lolita dresses I've seen around, but the bulk of the florals are going to Murasaki's brand.
Above are almost all the patterns I've collected for use in Peregrine's brand so far. I haven't used all of them yet, and there are a few gacha patterns (the silk skirts, leather ballet flats) that I've used up already. Since Fashion dreamer mixes all your own brands together and i'm making a lot of duplicates for mix-and-matchability, I don't have a very efficient way to screenshot the finished products, but you can see the kind of image I'm going for! I also am trying to pay attention to finishes as well, for example I favor the leather ballet flats from the gacha over the just ballet flats that are in my pattern list, or I favor crew socks with emblem or wool crew socks over plain ones. When possible, I like to grab the versions of shirts or dresses that have necklaces over the ones that don't.
Once I got patterns, i finally got to start creating! I think the first thing I made for Peregrine's brand was the asymmetric knit dress she's wearing in the picture on the left, followed by the silk skirts and pearl-embroidered sweaters I got 50 million of from the gacha. Those items really solidified how I was going to use the colors I chose, interestingly enough. Outerwear has to be done in the darker navy or the cream to show up better over shirts or dresses made with the lighter navy/off-white. Non-lolita shirts are almost always off-white. Any metal on a pattern has to be changed to gold. The pale pink and greens are reserved for gems that look like they should have a high reflectivity. Cream tends to look better as lace than the off-white does.
I know I absolutely favor the green when styling, but I love how the pink looks as well (even if I don't have nearly as many good pictures of it, augh). It's really satisfying to see all my pieces in my inventory, and mix and match them new and different ways.
If you've read this long, thank you! I put a lot of thought into my brand and I'm really proud of it. I'm going to try and take more photos, especially of the pieces that I don't tend to favor while styling.
If you enjoyed any of these looks please visit my showroom/request lookits! You can also DM me if you want something specific. I'm happy to accommodate!
ID: wEkrjAYrkL
In Part 2, I'll talk about vetting Lolita dresses for inclusion in my brand, and also hopefully name the damn thing.

Entry #10 - marblehornetsreview
Entry #10 Uploaded 29th July 2009
It’s time for Entry #10. It’s a banger. A classic. A real Alex Kralie Production. Hey, if you’re reading this, consider giving a like or a reblog. I am still kicking into gear and a very small blog, I would love to connect with more members of the community! Bless your cotton socks. On with the review below!
A straightforward caption to start the entry. Alex is in danger. It’s worth noting that this entry is, once again, without sound. A master stroke of these early entries, and a stark contrast to the later entries’ intricate and maximalist sound design.
YouTube’s compression does wonders for the mystique of this instalment, as Alex fumbles his way through a wooded area in the dark, his way lit only by torch light. Torch light that does nothing but tantalise us, providing no clear images to latch onto as Alex teases us with frustratingly brief glimpses of foliage and the ground beneath him.
We glimpse, for barely more than a single pixellated frame, The Operator looming in the dark. Alex immediately runs.
After a few scattered moments as Alex seems to make a run for it, we glimpse his face for a moment as he stops to check out his surroundings. A moment of calm before the storm - has Alex lost his pursuer?
No, he has not. Alex turns his torch into the darkness and we finally get a clear and terrifying look at the Operator, apparently following Alex through the trees. This is enough for Alex, and he once again hits the road at a frantic pace.
The entry ends. We’re left wondering what happened to Alex after this. We’re left wondering how it got to this point.
Entry #10 is another stellar early instalment in the Marble Hornets canon. These early episodes, apparently shot in large chunks as Troy Wagner and Joseph Delage came up with and wrote down ideas, are brimming with youthful creative energy and artistic flourishes that will transform and change over time as the series progresses.
One of the most fascinating aspects of Marble Hornets is watching Troy, Joseph and Tim learn and grow as filmmakers as they develop their own styles and engage with the parts of the process that interest them most. The idea of an Operator appearance in Season 3 being completely silent is off the cards completely - by then, Troy (and eventually Tim)’s love for sound design and editing had bloomed, and we awaited each entry in anticipation of the intricate and complex editing that each entry and ToTheArk video would showcase. An Operator appearance without the accompanying visual distortion and tearing? Talk about Early Instalment Weirdness!
Taken out of context, these bite-sized Season 1 entries have more in common with creepypasta stories than the horror films and mystery stories that primarily influenced the bulk of the series from Season 2 onwards. They’re also wildly digestible, and this shows in the view counts of the early episodes. Share them with your friends! Check out these videos! Are they real? Who knows?! (They are not real).
That’s about it from me today. I’ll see you next time.

Warmth Reimagined: The Revolutionary World of Graphene Heated Clothing
grapheneheat.com
Introduction
Imagine a winter day where you step outside, wrapped in the cutting-edge comfort of a jacket that not only shields you from the cold but actively generates heat. No more layering up like a marshmallow, no more shivering in the biting wind. Welcome to the world of graphene heated clothing—a game-changing innovation set to redefine how we stay warm. In this blog, we'll dive into the wonders of graphene, explore its role in heated clothing, and discover why it's a groundbreaking advancement in winter wear.
What is Graphene?
Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice. Discovered in 2004 by scientists Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov, this "wonder material" earned them a Nobel Prize and has since captivated the scientific community with its extraordinary properties.
The Marvelous Properties of Graphene
Superior Conductivity: Graphene excels at conducting heat and electricity, making it ideal for use in heated clothing.
Incredible Strength: Although it’s just one atom thick, graphene is incredibly strong—200 times stronger than steel.
Flexibility and Lightness: Graphene is flexible and lightweight, allowing it to be seamlessly woven into fabrics without adding bulk.
From Lab to Lifestyle
Graphene's journey from a laboratory curiosity to a practical material has been swift. Its unique properties have paved the way for innovations across multiple fields, including electronics, energy storage, and now, personal heating solutions.
How Graphene Heated Clothing Works
Graphene heated clothing integrates thin graphene layers into the fabric, connected to a small, rechargeable battery pack. When activated, the battery sends an electric current through the graphene, causing it to heat up and evenly distribute warmth across the garment.
Key Components of Graphene Heated Clothing
Battery Pack: A compact, rechargeable battery powers the heating elements.
Control Unit: A user-friendly interface allows for easy adjustment of heat settings.
Graphene Layers: Ultra-thin layers of graphene embedded within the fabric provide consistent and even heating.
Safety First
Safety is paramount in the design of graphene heated clothing. These garments are equipped with advanced temperature control systems to prevent overheating and often use water-resistant materials to ensure safe operation even in wet conditions.
The Heating Mechanism
The heating process is both simple and effective. When the battery is activated, it sends a low-voltage current through the graphene layers. Thanks to graphene's exceptional conductivity, this current generates heat quickly and distributes it evenly, ensuring a consistent warmth without hot or cold spots.
The Benefits of Graphene Heated Clothing
Unmatched Warmth
Traditional winter clothing relies on insulation to trap body heat, often resulting in bulky, restrictive layers. Graphene heated clothing, on the other hand, generates its own heat, providing superior warmth without the bulk. Adjustable heat settings let you customize your comfort, no matter the weather.
Lightweight and Comfortable
One of the standout features of graphene heated clothing is its lightweight nature. The thin graphene layers add minimal weight, allowing for greater freedom of movement. Whether you're skiing, hiking, or simply navigating the city streets, you'll appreciate the added comfort and flexibility.
Energy Efficiency
grapheneheat.com
Graphene's excellent conductivity means it requires less power to generate heat, translating to longer battery life. This energy efficiency allows you to stay warm for extended periods without frequent recharging, making it a practical solution for long winter days.
Versatility and Style
Graphene heated clothing is available in a variety of forms, from jackets and vests to gloves, socks, and even hats. This versatility ensures that every part of your body can stay warm. And because the graphene layers are so thin, these garments look just like regular winter wear, allowing you to stay stylish while staying warm.
Health Benefits
Staying warm in cold weather is crucial for maintaining good health. Prolonged exposure to low temperatures can lead to serious conditions like hypothermia and frostbite. Graphene heated clothing provides consistent, adjustable warmth, helping to protect you from the dangers of the cold.
Eco-Friendly
By reducing the need for central heating, graphene heated clothing can help lower your energy consumption and carbon footprint. It's a small but significant step toward more sustainable living, allowing you to stay warm without putting extra strain on the environment.
The Future of Winter Wear
The potential of graphene in winter clothing is vast, and ongoing research promises even more exciting developments. As technology advances, we can expect improvements in performance, affordability, and integration with smart technology.
Innovations on the Horizon
Extended Battery Life: Advances in battery technology will likely result in longer-lasting power for graphene heated clothing.
Enhanced Comfort: Continued research into materials science could lead to even more comfortable and adaptable garments.
Cost Reduction: As production techniques improve, the cost of graphene heated clothing is expected to decrease, making it more accessible to a wider audience.
Smart Technology Integration
Imagine a jacket that adjusts its temperature based on the weather forecast or your activity level. The integration of smart technology with graphene heated clothing could make this a reality. Future garments might come with apps that allow you to control the temperature remotely or sensors that automatically adjust the heat.
Expanding Applications
While graphene heated clothing is currently focused on winter wear, its potential applications are vast. In the medical field, it could provide therapeutic warmth for patients with conditions like arthritis. In industrial settings, it could improve safety and comfort for workers exposed to cold environments.
Real-World Applications and Success Stories
Outdoor Enthusiasts and Athletes
Athletes and outdoor enthusiasts are among the first to embrace graphene heated clothing. For mountaineers, skiers, and hikers who face extreme cold, these garments offer a lightweight and efficient way to stay warm without compromising performance. Stories of climbers tackling frozen peaks with the help of their heated jackets are becoming increasingly common.
Urban Commuters
For urban commuters, winter can be a daily battle against the cold. Graphene heated clothing offers a stylish and practical solution. Imagine waiting for the bus or train on a freezing morning, warm and cozy in your heated jacket. It’s a game-changer for anyone who spends time outdoors in the winter.
Medical Applications
In the medical field, graphene heated clothing is being explored for therapeutic use. People with conditions like Raynaud’s disease or arthritis, which cause poor circulation and cold extremities, can benefit from the consistent warmth provided by these garments. The targeted heat can improve comfort and alleviate symptoms, enhancing quality of life.
Conclusion
Graphene heated clothing is set to transform the way we stay warm in winter. Its unique properties offer superior warmth, comfort, and energy efficiency compared to traditional winter wear. As this technology continues to evolve, the future of winter clothing looks brighter—and warmer—than ever before. Say goodbye to bulky layers and hello to sleek, effective warmth with graphene heated clothing. Embrace this innovation and experience the future of staying warm.
Graphene is more than just a buzzword—it’s a revolutionary material that’s changing the game in countless industries, including fashion. From its discovery to its application in heated clothing, graphene has proven to be a versatile and powerful material. As research progresses, the possibilities for enhancing our comfort and safety in cold weather are endless. Embrace the warmth of the future with graphene heated clothing and never let the cold hold you back again.

The Best Gear for Travel
Traveling well is a fine balance between finding inspiration in the unknown while being grounded in something,” said Wirecutter founder Brian Lam. “Sometimes that is a memory of home, a family, a significant other, friends, etc. Sometimes it’s just the familiar, reliable stuff in your bag.”
Packing
A well-packed bag is one that contains less than you think you need but everything you actually need. If possible, fitting everything into one carry-on and personal item will give you more freedom compared to checking a bag or two. You’ll be glad you did if (and when) things don’t go according to plan.
Consider this example from OneBag’s Doug Dyment: “I’ve been in situations where I’ve landed in Chicago on my way to New York and everything was snowed in, no flights were flying anywhere, but I was able to rent a car or take a train whereas everyone whose bags were being held hostage by the airlines were simply stuck.”
While carry-on-only isn’t feasible (or advisable) for every trip—especially extended business trips or weddings where you need multiple outfits to maintain appearances—if in doubt, it’s better to cut.
The Cotopaxi Allpa 35L features an easy-to-pack clamshell design and highly adjustable straps that make it a great all-around bag for any traveler who’s dedicated to packing light travel accessories, or for a smaller person who wants less to carry. Handles on all four sides of this bag make it easy to grab no matter where you’ve stowed it, and the Allpa’s straps are contoured to comfortably fit people who have large or small chests. It’s not a specifically gendered design, but our female tester noticed the improvement right away.
The bag is protected by a full lifetime warranty and has the build quality to back that up. Its front panel is made of a waterproof, TPU-coated 1,000-denier polyester (a strong fabric covered in a flexible plastic coating), which means you can lay it on its back in a wet field or in gravel without worrying about moisture soaking through or jagged edges ripping the fabric. The rest of the paneling is made with 1,680-denier ballistic nylon, which feels similar to a strong canvas but with a more prominent weave. After four years of testing, this single backpack (plus a personal item to store under the seat) has replaced nearly every travel accessories bag or piece of luggage that Kit Dillon, Wirecutter’s senior staff writer who covers luggage, uses.
Compression sacks
Originally designed for reducing the bulk of lofty sleeping bags, compression sacks are stuff sacks modified with additional nylon end caps that can be pulled together by strings or straps to remove air and create a smaller, denser package that’s easier to pack. Most travelers use compression sacks to condense socks, underwear, and other stuff you don’t mind getting wrinkled into a package with half as much overall volume. For example, an 8- to 12-liter sack can compress a fleece jacket and a long-weekend’s worth of socks and underwear into something that fits in one hand. They also make a decent pillow in a pinch. Most compression sacks require you to empty out the stuff at the top to get to the stuff below it, but the side-zipper design on the Osprey StraightJacket allows access to the entire contents of the bag at once. The compression straps attach sideways, and are less likely to get tangled and twisted like on most compression sacks with lengthwise straps. It can also sit up on its own, and the handle design lets you break it out as a last minute carry-on to avoid an overweight-baggage fee. However, it doesn’t compress down as compactly as the traditional designs we tested so it’s not the best option if compression is your top priority.
Flip-flops
A good pair of travel accessories flip-flops should be lightweight, cheap, and flat. That way they’re easy to take wherever and it won’t matter if you lose them. After testing the super popular Havaianas, Ipanemas, Crocs, and Old Navy flip-flops, our pick is the Havaiana Top (for men and women). These high-density PVC Brazilian classics are world-renowned for their durability, affordability, and reliable traction, even when wet. They weigh just 150 g, compared to the 220 g Ipanemas. They pack down to almost nothing, unlike the big and boaty Crocs. And while other cheap flip flops can get squeaky when wet, the Havaianas stay mostly silent, which is why they’re so popular in beach towns all over the world. Ultimately, this is what earned them the pick over our previous pick from Old Navy.
Neck pillow
The uniquely angled back on the Travel accessories Ultimate sets it apart from other travel pillows we tested because it can lay flat against the seat back. Most other pillows have a rounded back, which pushes your head away from the headrest. The Travelrest also has rubber grip dots to prevent slipping while sleeping. This pillow’s spongy memory foam cushions the entire circumference of your neck, preventing your head from leaning far in any direction, and its adjustable Velcro strap ensures it can fit most necks. The pillow’s cozy velour exterior is removable and machine-washable. Although it doesn’t pack flat, the Travel accessories weighs less than a pound and compresses to a quarter of its size when rolled into its Velcro-strapped carrying case. Our only complaint is that the Travelrest’s high walls, though supportive, can push over-ear headphones off of the ears of people with shorter necks.
Noise-cancelling headphones
The Bose Noise Canceling Headphones 700 over-ear set has the most versatile active noise cancellation we’ve ever tested. With 10 levels of noise reduction to choose from, everyone should be able to find a setting that meets this travel accessories. We also enjoyed the lightweight and comfortable design and the easy-to-use controls. What distinguishes the Bose 700’s ANC is the amount of adjustability it gives you: Most noise-canceling headphones offer controls for only on/off or maybe high/low/off, but with the Bose 700 pair you can set the ANC level from 0 to 10, so you have more flexibility to dial in the ideal setting for your comfort. The 20-hour battery life, while not the best we’ve seen, is more than sufficient to get you to most destinations. We have additional options—including earbuds and surprisingly good budget options for over-ear headphones and earbuds—in our full guide to noise-canceling headphones.

How to Handle Forgotten Property
What to Do If Former Tenants Leave Belongings at the Property
Tenant turnover is an important part of managing a rental property. When one tenant leaves, the landlord or their property manager must prepare the home to get back on the market and welcome new tenants. This usually involves a deep cleaning, repainting, annual maintenance, and a few routine repairs. But what do you do if your previous tenants leave items behind?
Left-behind items become a final matter to be resolved between the landlord and former tenant. Fortunately, there are a few best-practices that make this process easy to navigate to everyone's satisfaction.
Know Your State Laws
First, make sure you are familiar with the state laws regarding left-behind property. Some states have very specific procedures you should go through, such as how you should hold the property and the correct channels or timeline to alert the former tenants. You may also be in a state where there is no requirement, and it is entirely up to you on how to deal with the left behind property.
Determine If "Trash or Treasure"
The first step is to determine if the left behind property was discarded as trash or is forgotten treasure. There's a big difference between a broken bookshelf chair left in the garage and a backpack of keepsakes in the top shelf of a closet. Do your best to determine if the property is trash your tenants meant to leave behind (but perhaps did not have time to put out on trash bulk day) vs property they will want back that holds monetary or personal value.
One stray sock is not a big deal, but a wrapped dress is probably a treasure. Use your best judgment.
Photograph, Then Store the Property
If you determine that the property is likely valuable, photograph it in place - where you discovered it or nearby where you unearthed it from a hidden storage location. You will send these photos to your former tenant to let them know about the forgotten property.
From there, respectfully pack away the items and store them out of the way where they will not be disturbed or damaged. This could be a sealed box in the attic or, for larger left-behind property, you might rent a temporary storage locker.
Alert Former Tenants of Their Left-Behind Property
You will need to contact tenants to return their security deposit - or the itemized list justifying denial. In this process, include photos and a list of the left-behind property with a letter asking the tenant if they want to collect the items or if it's okay to dispose of them. If you have a working phone number, you can call, but it's also best to leave a paper trail via email or certified mail, as well.
The tenant may then be grateful that you saved something precious, confused because they forgot they even owned the lost items, or dismissive because they consider the left-behind items to be trash.
Give Tenants a Time Limit to Collect The Items
If your tenants indicate that they want the property back - or they do not respond at all - hold the property for a set amount of time. The usual interval is one to three months. Let your tenant know that the property will be disposed of if they do not collect it before this point. Give your former tenants the option to pay for shipping, pick it up personally, or send a friend in town to pick it up.
Charge Shipping or Disposal to the Security Deposit
If the tenant requests shipping, you can charge it to their security deposit as part of the clean-up fee. The same is true for any cost you incur storing the items or disposing of them. This is one of those things that the security deposit is designed to smooth over at the end of the tenant-landlord relationship.
Include Your Policy in the Lease and Security Deposit Terms
Finally, make sure that your left-behind property policy is included in the initial lease and is a clear part of security deposit terms. This acts as your legal protection and ensures tenants have a chance to know what will happen if they leave personal property behind.

Victoria and Albert's Mushroom and Roasted Garlic Soup Recipe
I’ve never tried anything from Victoria and Albert’s and boy, this recipe has me thinking I should save my pennies and give Walt Disney World’s ultimate luxury dining experience a try. Victoria and Albert’s is located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and is one of the most acclaimed restaurants not only in Walt Disney World, but central Florida. More Delicious Recipes You Will Love: - Roasted Potatoes – Tusker House - School Bread – Kringla Bakeri Og Cafe - Scotch Eggs – Rose And Crown Pub And Dining Room It has the highest luxury fine dining reviews on TripAdvisor and Yelp, and it’s one of only three restaurants in all of Florida to have AAA’s 5-Diamond Award. During your two hour experience, you have not just one, but two servers who work with each person individually to craft your own personal menu that’s laid out over six courses. That is, unless you sit at the Chef’s Table… Then you get your own Executive Chef who comes out and consults on your 11 course meal over three or four hours. No big deal, right? This is one of the highest levels of fine dining out there. Men wear dinner jackets, women wear dresses or pantsuits… They also (somewhat controversially) have a policy to not seat children under the age of 10 due to the size of the dining room and acoustics which command a quieter dining party. I can’t think of any restaurant at Disney that has table side sommilers to help you find individual wine pairings per course. Very fancy pants, for sure. Since dining here is slightly out of my price range, I was really excited to try a recipe from here. Not only did I want to get a taste of what the high rollers get to experience, I wanted the chance to practice some different techniques and just see if I was up to the challenge of making something that’s fine dining-style, as opposed to homestyle. I was really fascinated by this recipe because it wasn’t what I expected, in the absolute best of ways. It ended up being a spectacular reminder that a few well-chosen, high quality ingredients prepared correctly can really knock your socks off. As this is a cheese soup, my mind went immediately to perhaps the most famous cheese soup on property, and I expected this to be really similar. However, it could not be more different. Where the Cheddar Cheese Soup at Le Cellier is thick, creamy, and hearty, this soup is light, clean, and very thin. The texture is more like your traditional broth soup and not a thick cream. Designed to be a light soup course meal, this is a great alternative to people who love the flavor of that other cheddar soup, but not the heaviness. Honestly, and I was told it was sacrilegious to say this, I feel like this soup is actually better than Le Cellier’s soup. While you could bulk it up with bacon for a taste that’s both light and elevated, but slightly more hearty, I really think this soup is best appreciated as-is. I think this recipe is a new favorite of mine and I wish I could do justice to describing the flavor. The sharpness from the beer is obvious, but it’s tamed by the snap of the cheese and the creaminess of the cream, making it a really bold and not overwhelming flavor. While I can only have a bowl of the Le Cellier soup before feeling full, I ate a whole bowl of this and felt warmed, satisfied, but not heavy. It’s so amazingly delicious and perfect as both a cold weather comfort, or a light introduction to a gorgeous, luxurious dinner. In addition to the delicious food and recipes, Disney World is also known for its unique dining experiences, such as character dining and themed restaurants. Whether you want to have breakfast with Mickey Mouse, dine in a replica of a sci-fi drive-in theater at Hollywood Studios, or enjoy a meal with an ocean view at the Coral Reef Restaurant in Epcot, there's something for everyone. And with the help of Recipes Today and the How to Make category, you can even recreate some of these magical dining experiences in your own home. So why not start planning your next Disney-inspired meal or dining experience today? Read the full article

How to Wear a Custom Polo T-Shirt With Style?
Whether you're looking for the perfect custom polo shirt to wear to work, or you want a simple way to dress up an outfit for an evening out, there are some things you should know before buying a t-shirt. From what to look for to how to pair it with a blazer, these tips will help you find the best t-shirt to match your style. Here is what you can do:
Embroidered vs Screen Printed
Trimmest Fit
Over sized Logo on Polo Shirts
Pairing a Polo with a Blazer
Embroidered vs Screen Printed
Choosing between screen custom t-shirt printing with style and embroidery is a matter of personal preference. Both offer great looks, but the best choice for your needs is based on a few factors. The best choice for your needs depends on the size of the design, the style you are going for, and the amount of detail in the design. For a logo, embroidery is usually a better choice, but screen printing is a close second.
Screen printing is a more practical choice for large designs and complex images. It is also more cost efficient. You can get the job done fast and cheaply if you order in bulk. Ink used in screen printing is a lot more expensive than embroidery. If you are considering a multi-color design, you can mitigate the cost by printing multiple units of the same design. Screen printing uses ink and mesh screen stencils for each color in your design. The resulting effect is much more vibrant.
Trimmest Fit
Whether you're buying a custom polo shirt for yourself or to sell to your customers, you'll want to make sure that it fits well. There are several different polo fits, and each of them offers a different amount of comfort. For a casual look, you may choose a long-sleeve polo. The fabric of this shirt is breathable, so it's ideal for warm summer days. You can pair it with trousers or chinos. You can also wear it with formal suits, depending on the occasion.
Polo shirts are usually made from cotton. They have a more casual appearance, so they are typically worn with jeans. If you want to wear a polo with a suit, make sure it's a solid color. Otherwise, it'll look too dressy. Traditional polo shirts have long sleeves, and they're usually about halfway past your buttocks in the back. They look better when you tuck them into your pants.
Over Sized Logo on Polo Shirts
Shirts with large logos are a trend, but they don't have to be ugly. In fact, you can make them work for you. Adding your own logo to a polo shirt can be a fun way to show your style and business pride. To wear a polo shirt with style, you need to consider a few factors. Besides the design, you'll want to check the quality of the fabric. This means looking for a shirt with a taped shoulder seam, which will ensure that your shirt retains its shape over time.
You'll also want to choose a 100% cotton fabric for maximum comfort. Some blended fabrics, such as polyester, have better stain resistance, but they aren't as comfortable as their pure cotton counterparts. There are many options available, including all-over GG logos from Gucci, 70s-inspired geometric prints from Burberry, and monogram motif tops from Moncler. Some companies even offer logos that are tone-in-tone with a knit.
Pairing a Polo with a Blazer
Choosing the right polo shirt with a blazer can be a challenge. This combination can look great if you follow some basic rules. For starters, you should choose a polo shirt that fits well and is durable. You also want to make sure that the material is of high quality. Cheap materials can sag or bunch up, leading to a drab, sweaty garment.
The best polo shirts for pairing with a blazer are solid colors. White, blue, and black are classic shades. If you want to add some color, you can always add a few patterns to your solids. A patterned blazer can elevate your polo-blazer combination. You can wear this polo-blazer combo with white pants, loafers, or no-show socks. If you have darker skin, you can try wearing a lighter polo. A black polo is the most formal polo color. It can be worn with dark denim jeans for a smart-casual outfit.

Embracing the Future of Warmth: Graphene Heated Clothing
grapheneheat.com
Introduction
Imagine stepping outside on a freezing winter day, and instead of shivering under bulky layers, you're comfortably warm in a sleek, lightweight jacket. This isn’t a futuristic dream; it’s the reality offered by graphene heated clothing. This revolutionary technology is transforming how we combat the cold, providing unparalleled warmth and comfort. In this blog, we'll explore the magic of graphene, its application in heated clothing, and why it’s a game-changer for winter wear.
What is Graphene?
Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice. It’s incredibly thin, yet boasts extraordinary properties. Since its discovery in 2004 by Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov, who later won the Nobel Prize, graphene has been celebrated for its potential to revolutionize numerous industries.
The Superpowers of Graphene
Outstanding Conductivity: Graphene is a superb conductor of both heat and electricity, making it perfect for heated clothing.
Remarkable Strength: Despite being only one atom thick, graphene is stronger than steel.
Flexibility and Lightness: Graphene is incredibly flexible and lightweight, which means it can be seamlessly integrated into fabrics without adding bulk.
A Breakthrough Material
Graphene’s discovery opened a new frontier in material science. Its unique properties make it ideal for a wide range of applications, from electronics to medical devices. But one of the most exciting uses is in the creation of heated clothing, which offers a new level of comfort and efficiency in staying warm.
How Graphene Heated Clothing Works
Graphene heated clothing incorporates thin layers of graphene into the fabric. These layers are connected to a small, rechargeable battery pack. When you turn it on, the battery sends an electric current through the graphene, which heats up and distributes warmth evenly across the garment.
Components of Graphene Heated Clothing
Battery Pack: A lightweight, rechargeable battery powers the heating elements.
Control Unit: A simple control system allows you to adjust the heat settings to your preference.
Graphene Layers: Ultra-thin layers of graphene integrated into the fabric provide consistent heating.
Safety Features
Safety is a top priority. Graphene heated clothing is designed with advanced temperature control systems to prevent overheating. The materials used are often water-resistant, ensuring you stay warm and safe even in wet conditions.
The Heating Mechanism
The heating mechanism is both efficient and effective. The battery sends a low-voltage current through the graphene layers, which quickly generates heat. Due to graphene’s high conductivity, this heat spreads evenly, ensuring you stay warm without any cold spots.
The Advantages of Graphene Heated Clothing
Superior Warmth
Traditional winter clothing relies on insulation to trap body heat, but this often means wearing bulky layers that can be restrictive. Graphene heated clothing generates its own heat, providing superior warmth without the bulk. Adjustable heat settings allow you to tailor the warmth to your needs, ensuring comfort in any situation.
grapheneheat.com
Lightweight and Comfortable
One of the greatest advantages of graphene heated clothing is its lightweight nature. The thin graphene layers don’t add significant weight, so you can move freely and comfortably. Whether you’re skiing, hiking, or simply running errands in the cold, you’ll appreciate the added comfort and flexibility.
Energy Efficiency
Graphene’s excellent conductivity means it requires less power to generate heat, resulting in longer battery life. You can stay warm for extended periods without needing to recharge frequently, making it an energy-efficient solution for staying warm.
Versatility and Style
Graphene heated clothing comes in various forms, from jackets and vests to gloves and socks. This versatility ensures that every part of your body can stay warm. And because the graphene layers are so thin, these garments look just like regular winter wear, allowing you to stay stylish while staying warm.
Health Benefits
Staying warm is essential for health, especially in extreme cold. Prolonged exposure to low temperatures can lead to serious health issues like hypothermia and frostbite. Graphene heated clothing provides consistent, adjustable warmth, helping to protect you from the dangers of the cold.
Eco-Friendly
By reducing the need for central heating, graphene heated clothing can help lower your energy consumption and carbon footprint. It’s a small but significant step towards more sustainable living, allowing you to stay warm without putting extra strain on the environment.
The Future of Winter Wear
The potential of graphene in winter clothing is vast, and ongoing research promises even more exciting developments. As technology advances, we can expect improvements in performance, affordability, and integration with smart technology.
Exciting Innovations Ahead
Longer Battery Life: Advances in battery technology will likely extend the duration of heat provided by graphene heated clothing.
Enhanced Comfort: Continued research into material science could lead to even more comfortable and practical garments.
Reduced Costs: As production techniques improve, the cost of graphene heated clothing is expected to decrease, making it more accessible.
Smart Technology Integration
The future might see graphene heated clothing integrated with smart technology. Imagine a jacket that adjusts its temperature based on the weather forecast or your activity level. Smart features could provide personalized comfort, making heated clothing even more practical and user-friendly.
Today’s Tips: Staying Warm
It’s starting to get really cold and yucky where I live, so I thought it would be a good time for this post. I know a lot of us spoonies have trouble with temperature regulation, and cold weather can cause all kinds of flares. I’m actually allergic to cold (thanks mast cells. not.) so I’ve had to become kind of an expert on how to stay warm. Here’s what I’ve discovered!
-Undershirts. Wearing a tight camisole or t shirt as my first layer makes a huge difference in staying warm for me. Leggings under loose pants also helps. I think it’s keeping any cold air from getting directly to my skin, and layers in general are good too!
-Have something hot to drink or eat. Plus then you get a warm mug to hold!
-Socks and/or slippers are good for keeping warm overall. Hiking socks are designed to be warm and provide extra cushioning, and if you buy simple ones in bulk, the price isn’t too bad.
-Cozy hat or earwarmers. Your head and ears give off a lot of heat! There’s no shame in wearing these when you’re inside either. If you’re not allowed to wear a hat, you may still get away with a fleece headband or those big headphones. But also, dress code exemptions for disability are a thing!
-Face mask. I’ve been wearing a mask due to allergies since even before the pandemic, and I discovered that a fabric mask does a really good job at keeping me warm! Plus, it’s easier than trying to get a scarf to stay wrapped over your nose.
-Hot packs. You know, those bean bag type things you can put in the microwave so they’re warm? Those! Especially good if cold weather makes you achy, hot packs will help. There’s also instant hot packs that are made to go in your pockets when you’re outside. And reusable instant hot packs! (https://shopatshowcaseusa.com/products/repeat-heat-pack?variant=34364718743689) You just boil them to reset them, and they’re fun to squish.
-Electric blanket. I know this costs money, so it’s not ideal for everyone. But if you have this in your budget (even for a little electric heating pad) and you’re always cold like me, I don’t think you’ll regret buying it. When I’m absolutely frozen and cannot get warm, this is the only thing that works. And it’s very very cozy!
-Invest in a good winter coat. I finally got a nice one, and it’s like magic how warm it is compared to layering other coats. And I can drape it over my legs when I’m sitting inside somewhere. I got mine from Sierra for 50% off, and looking at styles from past seasons during the spring might also find you some good sales.
-Move around. When I’m freezing at school and can’t get warm, I go walk up and down the stairs a few times and that helps. The bigger the movements, the more effective it’s going to be at warming you up, but of course this depends on your mobility, so be careful!
-Hugs! Your partner, your friends, your parents, your dog- if you like hugs, they’re a great way to borrow some body heat when you don’t have enough of your own:)
-Keep an extra layer in your bag and/or car, so you always have one with you. This could be a sweatshirt, hat, blanket, whatever you like.
-Fingerless gloves of any kind give you a little extra warmth when you still need your hands available for typing and whatnot.
-Arrange your furniture to take full advantage of the building’s heat. This means making sure that none of the heating vents or radiators or blocked off. And also setting up the furniture so the furniture you use the most is nearest to the heat source. This more applies to older buildings with uneven heating, but I live in a new house and can’t even begin to tell you how many times I accidentally had the heating vents closed!
-Put your clothes in the dryer for a few minutes before putting them on. Having to change clothes makes you cold in the first place, but putting on ice cold fabric after makes it even worse.
-Take a hot bath. A hot shower would also work, but then you likely have the problem of wet hair, which makes you even colder! Although, nice warm hair dryer might feel good if that’s something you can do.
As usual, please feel free to add on if you have more tips:)
