The three-fold reason why I need Buddie to go canon:

The fact I can't have two former roommates both be two halves of the baitiships M|M ever on TV ([I, personally, never felt baited by Merthur, Johnlock, and Destial despite watch all three shows that they're from so I can understand why people were), the word Superman alone, and the fact that the alluded-to show straight-washed Jon (literal firefighter-in-training when he was a teen and him ending up with a wife doesn't necessarily invalidate his bisexuality, but him having a husband at the end would've clued the audience in on it as he had a girlfriend in his teens whom he genuinely loved and they never otherwise hinted at it).

Come on, Tim, do what Jeff (and, apparently, ironically, also Greg and Sarah, and the Pipeline was loud today) didn't have the nerve to do.

Alright. Before I post my fics today. I have to share a mini AU I made lol. So, I HC that Derek bleached his hair blond to appeal to his mom (because he had dark hair like this dad, and I'm pretty sure Jessica hated him, lol.) so Im just imagining:

What if his dad never died? Hell, what if his mom did?

So. I'm just thinking of Derek with dark hair and red clothes to match. I honestly don't think he'd be too far off to his canon self, only I believe he'd have a larger ego — and 10x more dorky. I don't imagine his father to be any better than Jessica was.
