Dubois' bibliography: Fairy books (1)
I talked a LOT before of Pierre Dubois, his famous "Fairy/Elf/Lutin Encyclopedias", his collections of fairytales, and so forth and so on. And yes we have to agree that he has a very free, inventive, poetic style when it comes to retelling the various myths and legends surrounding the fair folk and other supernatural beings. As such, while his books are very entertaining and very beautiful, they are not to be used as a serious research material and can be quite misleading between Dubois' personal inventions, crafted genealogies and fictional history of "Elfland"...
BUT the wonderful and very pleasant thing with Dubois is that at the end of each of his Encylopedias he leaves us with a complete bibliography of all the books he used when writing them. I have rarely stumbled upon such complete bibliographies about the "fair folk", "good neighbor", petit peuple" and so forth, and while it goes a bit beyond what this blog is about (fairy tales proper), I still thought of sharing some of it here because my Dubois posts were all here.
Now, I can't share the entirety of the bibliography because it would be too big. However what I will share is all the books Dubois placed in his bibliography... in English. Indeed, Dubois reads the English and as such a good chunk of his bibliography is English-speaking (there are also some Spanish, Italian and German books in his lists). As such, if you are an English speaker you can easily go check these texts. (Note, this comes from his bibliography of his "Encyclopedia of Fairies", so that we stay within the "fairy tale" theme of this blog)
Tolkien's On Fairy-Stories
Beatrice Phillports, Mermaids
Richard Carrington, Mermaids and Mastodons
Gwen Benwell and Arthur Waugh, Sea Enchantress
The Lost Gods of England, Brian Branston
Wilfrid Bonser, A bibliography of folklore
Masaharu Anesaki, Japanese Mythology (also known as the History of Japanese Religion)
F. J. Child, The English and Scottish Popular Ballads
Moncure Daniel Conway, Demonology and Devil Lore
T. C. Croker, Fairy Legends and Traditions of the South of Ireland
N. Belfield Dennys, The Folklore of China [The book has the very unfortunate subtitles "and its affinities with that the Aryan and Semitic races", but it was written in the 19th century so...)
David Crockett Graham, Songs and Stories of the Ch'uan Miao
Thomas Keightley, The Fairy Mythology
P. Kennedy, Legendary Fictions of the Irish Celts
John Rhys, Celtic Folklore: Welsh and Manx
Sir George Webb Dasent's translation of Popular Tales from the Norse
The Norse Myths (as rewriten by Crossley)

RE: your Cerberus post, you know Viv has never actually read Dante. I doubt she’s even done any research beyond Wikipedia.
It’s weird because she says she knows the demonology n’ stuff, but if she does she clearly doesn’t actually care about it that much, because a lot of it is plainly discarded.
Like Stolas and the rest of the Ars Goetia not being fallen agnels.
The Stolas in biblical lore was a fallen angel who used the stars to guide Lucifer and his army, so they could avoid God’s forces. Look me in the eyes and tell me that’s not crazy interesting. Would’ve given all of them a very interesting backstory. They fought for a cause they believed in and lost. Now they’re imprisoned in Hell for eternity. A place where nothing good can thrive.
Some demons remain loyal to Lucifer and believe his cause was just, and others deeply resent Lucifer for manipulating them into a losing fight.
And it’s weird how open the demons are with their sigils. Demons are supposed to be EXTREMELY secretive about their sigils because they are used to enslave them. King Solomon enslaved demons this way and used them to build his temple. Plus, when you summon a demon, if they refuse to obey you, it’s common to just torture them into submission. So yeah, they don’t want people knowing their sigils.

Under the Mistletoe
12 Days of Christmas: (kind of) Day Five
Pairing: Rupert Giles x reader
Request: Thank you for letting me know! I didn't want to resend just in case it actually went through. I was curious if a Giles one could be done where the reader has hung mistletoe all over to get Giles to give some kisses, but him being Giles, he either doesn't see it because he has a book in hand or he sees it and panics, so he doesn't "see" it. Finally, the reader just snaps and grabs some mistletoe, walks to Giles and holds it over his head. "For a guy who is pretty smart . . . where are my kisses?"
Requested by: @sword-sings-of-silver
A/N: It’s gonna annoy me so much that this has been posted after Day six, but I didn’t realise I hadn’t queued it up and my Wifi was down so I’m sorry for not posting yesterday !! ❄🖤
You were in love. He was smart, witty and incredibly attractive. You had been driven wild with emotion whenever he was near. It had been almost two years now and you had yet to make any move. You didn’t know whether he felt the same which h made it hard to reveal your own deep feelings.
What you hadn’t realised was that he harboured such great feelings for you that he thought he may explode. He became nervous when your were around. You were so attractive. When you were in the room, his eyes were always on you. Until you looked his way and he diverted his gaze.
You were an assistant at the library, which meant you had a lot of time in the day with just you and Giles. Talking to him was so easy, so enjoyable. You were sure you had met your soulmate, in heart and mind. It was no secret that you loved Christmas and Giles, or Rupert as he insisted you called him, found it refreshing how enthusiastic you were. He had learnt so much about you, you spent most weekdays together and so he felt like he knew you like the back of his own hand.
At the beginning of December, Giles asked if you wanted to decorate this year for the holidays and you excitedly nodded and started to make a list of all of the items you would need to make it look much more Christmas-y in the room. You were beyond excited and your enthusiasm near made him melt. He adored you, wished he could spend even more time with you. Despite the fact you worked together. Somehow, it wasn’t even enough.
You were, of course, in on the knowledge of demons and the Hellmouth. You would have to, the amount of supernatural activity in that place would have driven you mad otherwise. Luckily, you had been classically trained. You had a degree in demonology and had originally started working there to track down a very rare tome you had wanted to research. However, you had met the man of your dreams and you loved being a librarian too.
You liked the kids that came in to save the world every now and again. They made you laugh although they were very nosy and asked you constantly about your love-life. They saw the way your eyes wandered over to Giles every time they asked.
Buffy, Xander and Willow had gotten tired of you both second-guessing the other’s intentions. So they hatched a plan. Just in time for Christmas. Xander, with a little of his Commando training still in his brain called it: Mission X-mas. Because they wanted to get you both to reveal your feelings by the time Christmas came around.
This was important because they had both found out that you were both spending Christmas day alone. They hoped if they pushed you into each other’s laps before Christmas break, they could enjoy their own holidays knowing that you may make plans together.
It was Monday morning, a day you wouldn’t usually enjoy however you found yourself increasingly enjoying it. Getting up in the morning were easier. It was the anticipation. It was seeing him. It made you smile as you packed the boxes of decorations in your trunk. You made a stop on your way to work and got in just in time. You had to make several trips with your boxes and Xander caught you in the corridor and offered to help. He muttered something about Santa’s grotto but when you asked him to repeat himself he said he thinks there’s a ghost in the room and then he sped off.
“Here, I brought you this” You offered him the to-go cup of tea you had picked up on the way to work. He smiled fondly and thanked you, offering to cheers with your cups. You met your drink with his and your eyes locked. The gaze you shared was so meaningful, so pure. You wanted to kiss him so badly it ached. He looked as if he was about to say something, but shook his head, thinking better of it. He thanked you again and offered to help you decorate. He knew this would make you smile, he loved your smile so much.
You sat together, discussing your weekend and the most recent demon problem. You finished off your hot drinks and sat in a comfortable silence together. You were so comfortable with him. You just wanted to tell him, but if you did you may lose moments like these if he didn’t reciprocate.
Suddenly, Xander ran in saying that he saw the demon summoner walking around Giles’ house that morning. Luckily, Giles didn’t ask why Xander had been there and just set off to his home. Not even a full minute after he left and you had barely opened up the first decoration box, Buffy and Willow soon followed by Xander slipped into the room.
“Shouldn’t you be at Giles’ house? With the demon summoner?”
“Ah, well, about that-”
“You were supposed to distract him not scare him!” Willow exclaimed, now worried about Giles who may think he was about to get seriously hurt.
“It got him out of the library” Xander put his hands up in surrender.
“whats going on here guys?”
“It’s Giles”
“What is it? Has he been possessed?” You asked, now worrying about him too. That would explain the draw he had. The effect he had on you. Maybe it was supernatural instead.
“well you could say that...”
“No you couldn’t” Buffy said.
“possessed by love” he said as the rest of you shared an eye-roll.
“Someone please explain” you said, moving your attention back to the box realising the situation wasn’t as serious as you once thought.
“Giles is in love with you!”
“Don’t be-”
“No really! He has a serious jones for you. Totally head over heels territory over here” Buffy confirmed. You squinted between them.
“Really?” you paused from looking in the box again. They nodded seriously.
“He just won’t tell you because he wants you to be comfortable at work”
“That’s so… sweet” you sighed dreamily and they all shared a look.
“So what do I do?” You asked them, really not sure why you were suddenly asking romantic advice from a bunch of high schoolers.
You looked in the boxes, pulling out a whole bunch of mistletoe. Everyone’s eyes landed on it and you all had the same idea at the same time.
You started to wind tinsel around the columns and sprigs of holly on different shelves. You made paperchains and decorated the tiny tree you had brought to sit on the librarians desk.
But the most important part was the mistletoe that you hung from every ceiling and every doorway. You stood with your back against the double doors to take in your handiwork and you did a little silent wish that your plan would work. You were second guessing yourself, getting cold feet. This was stupid. You had listened to teenagers that as far as you were away didn’t even date.
You shook your head at yourself, moving to go and tug some mistletoe down but just at that moment, he had returned grumbling something about Xander as he entered. That was it, there was no time to change it now. So you just let him take in the room. He loved it, mostly because you had done it. He moved to stand beside you and told you this. You shivered slightly as his body was close to yours. But he moved away too quickly.
You had both ducked under a bunch of mistletoe as you talked him through your vision for the decoration. You both looked up and then at each other. He every obviously saw it. His eyes widened as he moved away quickly. This confirmed what they had said to you. If he didn’t feel that way, he wouldn’t have so awkwardly moved away. It gave you hope. It made you smile to yourself softly. He went a bit quiet, pulling into himself to overcompensate for how much he wanted to kiss you.
It kept happening, you met under the mistletoe almost several times each hour. But he avoided your eyes, ducked his head and mumbled some kind of excuse. He was dying inside, he was so desperate to kiss you but he didn’t want to risk losing your friendship. It didn’t cross his mind that you had put them there on purpose.
For the rest of the day, he walked with a book, not looking up much. He desperately wanted to pull you into him, your lips meeting so perfectly. It was almost too much. He was desperate to be with you. To hold you. To be close to you. He wanted to keep you warm through the long winter. Wanted to be by your side.
It took you until almost the end of the day to properly work up the courage. But eventually you watched him start to get up from his office and you quickly got up to meet him in the doorway. The mistletoe hung directly between you. He started to look down at his feet and say something but you spoke first.
"For a guy who is supposed to be pretty smart... where are my kisses?" You smiled, leaning into him. He was surprised you could harbour these feelings.
“Well, ah, yes-” you rolled your eyes, pulled him into a kiss that he quickly returned. Your lips met, gliding over each other. Every move charged with such raw emotion. You both dropped what you had been holding to reach for the other. Wanting to pull each other even closer. To have each others skin against skin. His hand cradled your head and you ran your hands up his back. His lips were addictive, even better than you had imagined. He was an amazing kisser. Made even better because of how much care he harboured.
You backed into his office, smiling into the kiss. He cupped your face hungrily kissing around your lips and jaw before catching your lips once more. He had been dreaming of this and he didn’t want to ever stop.
However, at this moment Snyder walked in rolling his eyes at your decorations and pulled a large amount of paperchains from the ceiling. You heard this and moved apart quickly. You stepped out of the office to face him. Both of you a little out of breath. He snaps that your Christmas decorations are not regulation. He looks between you and scowls. As if he wanted to say something. To catch you out. But instead he just turns on his heels and leaves.
Which allowed you and Giles to slip back into the office, desperate to study each other’s bodies rather than the books you usually would. Your lips met again as he sat you on the desk, he adored the way you glowed under the Christmas lights you had just installed earlier that day. This Christmas was shaping up to be the best one yet.

@cosmosfated said: “ Demon? Why would i be scared of a lil’ demon? The lot of ‘em can soddin’ rot for all I care. Just didn’t think there’d be people so dedicated to them that there’s a field called demonology. Tha’s a new one. What’s a demonologist do anyway? Advanced demonic biology? ” [[ Hi hello thank you for your compliments have a brat bullying John immediately ]]
John closed his eyes for a moment, sucking in a breath through his nose to stomp down the irritation that had started to rise inside his chest. He had a quick temper, that was no news, but it usually wasn’t that quick. Not under normal circumstances, at least. There were days, shitty, unbearable, cursed days, when the smallest thing could set him off, no matter how trivial it could be. His coffee to hot or too cold. Not enough alcohol in the bottle he had been drinking. Finishing his package of cigarette. Anyone saying literally anything to him.
However, that particular day wasn’t one of those days. He had encountered several small inconveniences since he had arrived in town, which was no news either, his bad luck made sure that he always had his daily dose of it, and none of them had set him off. At least until he had approached that guy.
Now, it was true that Constantine’s people skills had never been his best talent. Or a talent of his at all. Some people in the past, including his best friend, had accused him of having none or, even worse, of having the opposite of what were considered “social skills” and he couldn’t exactly deny it. There was a reason why very few people didn’t hate him and why even fewer liked him to some extent. And he had to count the ones that were dead too, because otherwise the list of said people would have most likely included only Chas’s name.
There was also the matter that the individuals he approached during his cases never took his arrival well. Be it because he spoke of things normal people didn’t believe in and called him a charlatan or a nutjob. Be it because they were involved with the thing he was hunting and so tended to want him out of their way. Be it because he was always a bit too honest when it came to explain the situations. And there were other reasons, far too many for him to be willing to name them all.
However, while he was open to consider all that, he was pretty sure he had done nothing to be forced to deal with the bratty attitude he was presented with. Maybe he should have been glad the guy he was dealing with seemed to know his world, because it saved him the trouble of having to convince him that he was speaking the truth, but he really couldn’t bring himself to be. Not when he was being belittled in such a way. No, this had to be the pick of his bad luck coming to punch him in the guts. There was no other explanation.
“Advanced demonic biology,” he repeated, incredulous, hardly resisting the temptation to throw his hands in the air. “What in hell, literally, are you even talkin’ ‘bout, mate?! This ain’t a bloody joke, for fuck’s sake! N’ it ain’t ‘bout some ‘lil demon’. I dunno who you think you are, n’ honestly? I don’t give a damn ‘bout it either. ‘M ‘ere tryin’ to do you a soddin’ favour, so why don’t you drop this...attitude of yours n’ let us talk seriously for a bloody moment, aye?”
His reaction was definitely exaggerated, he realised it in the same moment the words were leaving his mouth. He had been taunted with much worse and he had always replied smartly, no matter how much it had annoyed him. However, there was something about the other that was putting him on the edge, making him feel like he was grasping straws. It was a gut feeling he couldn’t identify nor understand, but it was stronger than ever. And he had been living that life for too long, dwelling too deep on that path to ignore that kind of instinct. It was one of the several marks that magic had left inside him. Whether it was a blessing or a curse, he still hadn’t decided. Most likely both, as everything else connected to his world.
“No, you know what? Enlighten me, will yeh?” He added, raising his chin and crossing his arms on his chest. “Who...or what...in Hell or Heaven or everythin’ in between n’ beyond are you? Since you got the guts to consider this mess, n’ the whole demonic lot, nothin’ to worry or care ‘bout, hn? ‘Cause lemme tell you, I met a whole bunch of pompous idiots who thought they were above every bloody thin’ n’ every bloody one, but you? Oh, you’re already on the right way to beat ‘em all, mate.”

Incubus!Chase Brody x Magician!Reader
I saw a post that had the idea of Chase being an Incubus so I got inspired.
This story will not have anything explicit or any major NSFW content (only v minor talk about intercourse will occur throughout since we are talking about an Incubus here).
So w/o further to do here we go-
After what seemed like an eternity, you’ve finally figured it out.
You now knew how to summon any sort of demon you desired. Each one had their own special pentagram that must be drawn correctly and precisely before you could light the candles.
Even though your brother, Marvin, strongly advised against you tapping into demonology and the dark arts, you went ahead anyway to satisfy your curiosity.
Once you had finished drawing the pentagram that would summon a demon called an “Incubus”, you took a step back to make sure the image in your book matched the one on the floor. You also checked to see that the candles were in the right positions.
What compelled you to choose an Incubus out of all demons is beyond you, although you knew how to keep him at bay should he…..try anything.
Using levitation, your book hovered beside you, showing you the page with the summoning spell. You pulled out your small ritual knife from your cloak pocket, removing one of your gloves.
Taking a deep breath, you looked at the bolded words and began to speak them slowly and clearly. “Lilith, sweet Lilith, I ask that you hear my call. I ask that you send onto this earth one of your sons. And I shall allow him to fulfill any desires he wishes. Please, take this offering.”
Then you carefully sliced your palm with the knife, watching the small stream of blood trickle onto the center of the pentagram.
It was then you felt a sudden chill rush through you and then…..a portal opened up in the circle as the candles blew out at the same time.
You held your breath as a clawed, black hand emerged from it moments later. The creature slowly rose up from it, standing on his…..hooves?
Titling your head to the side, you gazed at him. You blushed slightly at the rather revealing outfit he had on, although you expected no less from an Incubus.
A devilish tail swayed gently behind him, and only his arms were black, the rest of his upper body sporting a pale complexion.
But strangely enough he had the lower body of a satyr and….some kind of snapback hat you’ve seen teens wear all too often. It was then you began to wonder if you made a mistake somehow-
“Like whatcha see, baby~?”
You blinked in surprise as the Incubus spoke, smirking as he leaned against the wall. Then he looked down at the pentagram and candles, skipping over them. “Lucky me to be summoned, eh?” He chuckled softly, his glowing blue eyes gazing into your [e/c] ones curiously. “What’s your name sweetheart?”
“[Y/n],” you replied to him, your heart pounding a mile a minute. “And..yours?”
“Chase. Short and simple.” He grinned, flashing his sharp teeth. “Wanna see what I can do?”
Already you were having second thoughts, but since you’ve made it this far you knew there was no going back. So you nodded. “Alright..but-”
However, a ball made of smoke appeared in his hands. Then he turned and went to shoot it into your trash can on the other side of the room. He missed, though, so he conjured up another one and shot that, this time making it into the bin.
“WOOO~!!!” Chase jumped with joy, spinning back around to face you with a childlike grin. “Did ya see that?? I made the shot!!”
“…..is that really your method of seduction?”
His smile faltered. “U-Uh…yeah, pretty much…look. I’m whatcha call a “lower tier” Incubus. See?”
He removed his hat, revealing to you the pair of small, nubby black horns that were almost hidden in his messy, fluffy grass-green hair. “The bigger the horns, the stronger our seductive powers and lust…..meaning I’m kinda…..very weak in those categories.”
“I’ve read about that,” you nodded in understanding. “So..you wanna just hang out and I can tell you about myself?”
Chase looked at you, surprised. “Really? But I…um..thought you summoned me..to uh…y’know….” A slight blush rose to his cheeks.
“Well I mean…I just picked a random demon to summon since I’ve never done anything like that before. Besides you..don’t seem comfortable with doing that.” You gave him a gentle smile. “And I understand since we only met not even a minute ago.”
“B-But..” He stammered. “I mean..I’m a-an Incubus. That’s my..m-my purpose. I-I have to…I…I need to-”
“Hey.” You took his hand into yours, giving it a squeeze of reassurance. “It’s okay, Chase. You don’t have to force yourself upon me or anything like that. I don’t mind if you wanna wait until later when we know each other better. We can always just…cuddle if you want at least some kind of intimacy going on.”
After giving it some thought, the Incubus sighed in relief, relaxing his shoulders. “A-Alright. Thanks, [y/n]...I...appreciate it.” He smiled at you.
“Of course. Consent is always key as they say.” ………
Over the course of a month, Chase pretty much became your demonic roommate. You had erased the pentagram you drew on the floor when it became apparent that he had quickly grown attached to you.
No, you two didn’t engage in any sexual activities whatsoever. Instead you simply told him about your life as a magician and how you branched off into other forms of magic besides silly card tricks.
And he was there to….simply fill that lonely space you’ve had in your heart for quite some time. You were always cooped up in your house studying spells that you’ve lost touch with many of your friends.
But with Chase being there for you…you did feel a lot better.
Cuddling became an all-too common activity for you both. At first it was awkward, considering that he refused to change his outfit or put on something less…revealing, so you were basically hugging an almost completely naked guy.
Thankfully, though, he was okay with a blanket being over him.
Whenever you two were laying down, he liked to curl up and bury his face into your chest for the most part. But he was an Incubus, so you weren’t too surprised that he wanted to use cuddles as an excuse to get close to your breasts.
He would still try to “seduce” you with more of his silly trickshots, even though they just made you laugh more than anything.
Oddly enough, despite it being an entire month and the moments of intimacy you two shared, his horns barely grew an inch and he never really lusted after you.
There were hugs, cuddles, and kisses, but never….anything beyond that.
You were okay with that, and you never tried to force him into doing anything he didn’t want to just so you could be pleasured.
You were more than happy with the sort of relationship you maintained with the Incubus, and it seemed that he was, too. ……..
“Chase? Honey? I have a really cool spell I wanna show you~!” You grinned giddily as you made your way to your room, spellbook in hand.
Although when you reached the door, you noticed that it was closed, which was strange considering you had it open before.
But then…you could hear soft whimpers and sobs on the other side.
“Chase?” You opened the door to see the Incubus on your bed, curled up in the very corner and hidden underneath a blanket. His tail was the only part of him sticking out.
Worried, you walked in and climbed onto the bed beside him, wondering what got him so upset. “What’s wrong?” You removed the blanket, only to find him with his face buried into his knees.
After a few moments of crying, he stopped and looked at you, his once vibrant blue eyes now dark and rimmed with tears.
“M-Me..”
You blinked in confusion, shifting closer and wrapping your arms around him. “Honey..” Your eyebrows furrowed. “What do you mean by-?”
“I’m…wrong [y/n]. I’ve…I-I feel like a-a disappointment….br-broken..…bu-but I don’t…I didn’t....w-wanna…” It was obvious he was having a hard time speaking, so you hushed him and held him close.
“Shhh, don’t keep it in. Just cry it all out.” You coaxed as you removed his hat and stroked his head. And he did just that as he shoved his face into your warm chest, sobbing uncontrollably as he wrapped his arms tightly around your waist.
With a soft sigh you ran your gloved fingers through his hair, your hand glowing with a pink, calming aura. It was something that automatically activated whenever you were close to someone feeling distressed. You gently kissed his horns as well.
After about a minute, the magic did its work and Chase calmed down, his sobs ceasing as he sat up slowly. “Th-Thank you...sorry a-about the stain..“ He mumbled, glancing down at you shirt.
“It’s fine.” You waved it off, the pink glow vanishing. ”I-”
But you were cut off when he then grabbed the end of your cape, bringing it up to his face to dry his tears and blow his nose into it.
‘Eww..’ You grimaced slightly. ‘And I just washed this, too..’ But you shook away those thoughts, knowing that whatever reason he was crying was more important than snot on your cape.
“So what do you mean you’re “wrong”, Chase?“ You cupped his cheek, wiping away any stray tears. "Is it because we haven’t...made love yet?”
“N-No..it’s… m-more than that..” He sniffled, placing his hand over yours and nuzzling your palm. “Honestly I...I-I was never fond of being summoned just for sex.”
You blinked in surprise, before you came to the realization as to why he said he was “wrong” and “broken”.
Because he was not like other Incubi.
“I know I was created to..lust after humans and nothing more,” he continued. “But I....I wanted to know what it was like to actually love one for their..personality and not just their body. I wanted to just do things like cuddle, and talk about life, and eat snacks, and watch movies like...normal human couples.”
A tiny smile grew on your features as he spoke those words. You almost forgot that this was a demon from down below and not an angel sent from above.
“And you got to experience that, didn’t you?” You asked softly.
“Y-Yeah,” Chase nodded slowly. “But...o-others who have summoned me simply....sent me back when they realized I-I didn’t want to...f-fulfill their desires right then and there.” His eyes filled up with tears. “And my mother...w-would be waiting for me...so disappointed..and my brothers w-would laugh at me. I-I keep promising them I’ll do it....but-”
“I won’t send you back.”
He gave you a double-take, eyes widening. “What...?”
“It’s obvious that you’ve been a lot happier here,” you elaborated. “So I don’t see any reason why you should go back. Besides I’ve already erased the pentagram if you hadn’t noticed. And it was incredibly hard to draw out...so I don't plan on doing that again anytime soon”
For a few moments, he stared at you, shocked. And then his face lit up with a smile as he hugged you tight. “Th-Thank you so, so much, [y/n]...I..I-I love you..” He kissed your shoulder. “I love you so damn m-much.”
“I love you, too, Chase.” You returned the hug. “But just remember, those things you said don’t make you any less of an Incubus. You’re not “broken” or anything like that, you’re simply friendlier and sweeter than most Incubi. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, understand?”
Chase nodded, nuzzling your neck and kissing it a few times, his scruff tickling your skin. “I-I understand..I’ll stay with you....on one condition.”
“And what’s that?”
“That I show you more of my latest trickshots. I think I’m getting better at ‘em.”
“....alright. But, I also have one condition you must agree with.”
“What would that be, babe?”
“We gotta get you out of that stripper outfit so I stop having nosebleeds every other day.”
“.....fair enough.”

COul you talk more about Lucia and Erik?
first n foremost they are cousins so theyve been around eachother since bitty babies basically , they almost treat eachother like siblings for how close they are , Erik is definitively more extroverted even if he doesnt look like it and always wants to drag Lucia into doing whatever bullshit he comes up with for fun, im talking "lets go to this decrepit abandoned building see if theres ghosts around" (sometimes his growing grim reaper instincts kick in) type of shit , but hes also really protective of Lucia n friends and HATES hates if anyone tries to take advantage of her social inexperience , this makes sense not only cuz his mom was the same protectiveness with his aunt but in general angel harpies (especially considering Lucia represents Life giving) and death agents go hand in hand in work , ya know, buddy system. Also they are goth n emo duo proving harmony and peace is real.
here they are as lil kids they went to burge king after lucia had a bad day at school

2022 vs 2009-2010 OC redraws
i stumbled onto a file for drawings and edits i had from 2009 n 2010 and its been really entertaining to have something that old, i decided to redo some deviantart bases art i did back in the day , i mostly used bases back then to like, just picture scenes more clearly because drawing with mouse was quite unwieldy lol i was 11, plus its fun, its still fun !!!
All these characters are from a sort of sequel to my angel n demon stuff, like some kind of next gen of kids bs, but then it developed into something quite fun and i latched onto it for years.
first pic from left to right are Joshua, Lucia, Erik and Hana
second pic is Satanas n Dorian (yes. i know the contrast is funny)
last pic is Joshua n Erik again because they were my gay pair , have a yaoiful time/j
