simon’s demon blood awakened after roba which forced him leave the military, afterwards gaz and soap were then sent to kill him but agreed to bring him in. ghost ends up under soap’s jurisdiction at first only following so tommy would be left alone but maybe soap’s not that bad

extermination day extermination always irritated vaggie. She had developed a major dislike of it upon being dropped into hell for showing mercy, which shouldve kept her in heaven than get her booted out, but she had found the love of her life here, so she couldnt complain. After the battle during the old hotels time, the exterminations had become far more erratic. sometimes theyd be only a month or so away, sometimes over a year. she had no doubts it was entirely because of lute, which she wasnt too fond of, but what could vaggie realistically do, her old sister in arms had always been a bit of a nutcase. besides, she had bigger fish to worry about right now. she and charlie were doing a headcount of people who had been in the hotel that day, (alastor, husk, nifty, the usual people, along with some hopefully quests to be) and there was one person distinctly missing "do i have to go get him?" vaggie asked, exasparated "come on please? he should be somewhere on the upper floors, i saw him walking up before the bell rang loud, besides you always have your weapon on you!" charlie begged, earning agreed mumblings of the others "If Safety Is Your Concern, Trust Me Vaggie, I Will Be Able To Handle Any Possible Nuisances While You're Getting Mister Bleeding Heart Back" alastor piped up, with that sickeningly sweet grin of his. She rolled her eyes, and groaned out a soft "fiine" as she moved to go up the hotel. Thank Fucking Lucifer that he had installed an elevator into the hotel, because boy howdy if vaggie had had to walk up the flight of stairs just to get Adam she would not have even considered it. Eventually, she found him on the roof, watching the carnage. "come on Adam, i know youre probably so fucking hard about all the destruction and shit, but you wont be safe from them killing you" Adam didnt turn to look at vaggie, instead closing his wings around himself as best he could, and "I can still recognize them you know" "huh?" with one wing, adam pointed down to two exterminators "that right there is lyre, ruthless as ever, but she has that methodical work flow, kind of like a dance. i think they partnered her with a newbie, which is good- well. bad, but. good from a combat standpoint- because she'll get good pointers at the end" vaggie looked down at the next group of exterminators that adam pointed to "over there is janatha, still fumbling with her stabs and pierces as ever. shes in a bigger squad, but they always worked well together, even if theyre a bit chaotic" an explosion blew up relatively near them, and adam looked over to it with sluggish movements "must be lute... say vags-" "vaggie." "-vaggie, do you remember flute?" "huh? you mean lutes sister?" "mmhm, lutes always been pretty ruthless, but that can leave her open at the back, flute would have covered her but. i think she was killed a few exterminations ago, the one that weapons dealer got. i think theyve tried to pair her with others but i always see her alone" vaggie stood there stunned "i. didnt think you were telling the truth when you said you recognized me. i thought you'd been bluffing or that lute had told you, given..." "well, thats the view souls have of me i suppose. liar down to a t. but i do recognize all of them. i just regret that my blind rage cost the lives of several of them and... lutes arm" another explosion closer to them alerted vaggie to grab adams shoulder "come on, charlies going to get worried if you keep me standing here, cant have you getting killed now that shes done so much work on you" "whatever you say vaggie" adam said, solemnly looking behind to where theyd spotted lute, before walking with vaggie to the elevator to get to the more bunkered area

still rotating this blue exorcist AU idea from two nights ago, so I figure I might as well talk about it! the basic idea of the AU started with "what if Yukio was raised relatively in the dark about his origins, but Rin wasn't" and it sort of just snowballed from there, as things do.

on the night of his birth, rin's demon heart is never sealed. yuri calms him down all on her own, despite all of her own struggles that night. she survives childbirth, and pleads that she'll raise rin herself, so that he won't harm others.

(shiemihaza looks in her eyes, and this time, she agrees)

once it's confirmed that yukio is human, and has not inherited satan's flames, shiro agrees to raise him for yuri and give him a normal life. he keeps yukio's origins a secret from him, only vaguely alluding to the fact that he has an older twin brother who lives with their mother.

yuri and rin are confined at the Vatican, not allowed to leave the room they are given. yuri survived, but the traumatic pregnancy followed by the even more traumatic childbirth has clearly taken its toll on her. she is much weaker, and no one expect her to live long.

she ends up living for eight more years anyways on pure determination alone.

she raises rin carefully, teaching him how to control his flames and his strength. how to be kind to others, even if they aren't kind to him. rin grows up with a mother who is physically frail, so he learns to be gentle because he doesn't want to hurt her.

shiro becomes paladin. he visits yuri whenever he can- and at first, he's really just here for her. he still thinks she's crazy for thinking she can tame her demon son, considering what happened with satan. but eventually, he comes to understand that rin isn't his father.

(yuri learns from her mistakes. she doesn't repeat them with rin.)

yuri's health takes a turn for the worse in the twins' seventh year. she passes away after their eighth birthday. there's mutters in the Vatican about finally getting rid of satan's spawn.

shiro is not going to let that happen, so warily takes some advice from Mephisto. he doesn't trust him one bit, confident he's playing at some kind of long game, but he promised yuri he'd protect both of her children, and he intends to do just that.

he ends up making rin his familiar.

(he holds rin's hands and makes him promise that he'll never use his flames on humans, unless its an absolute emergency. the boy's spiral eyes are just like his father's as he looks at him, but the person behind them couldn't be less like his father if he tried. rin promises.)

for the first time since he was born, rin leaves the room he was confined in for so long. he's going to finally meet his little brother that he's heard so much about.

he has to wear a weird, itchy bracelet to do it, though. it's supposed to make him look completely human to even people who have a mashou. mephisto made it.

(it's a rosary, because mephisto is determined to be an ironic little shithead at all times.)

his mom named him rinka. when he goes to live among humans, shiro gives him the name okumura rin.

fujimoto yukio meets his twin brother for the first time when he's eight years old. he's a strange kid, and it takes him awhile to get used to his presence at the monastery. there's something almost... disquieting about him, but that feeling fades over time.

rin doesn't go to school. everyone agrees that's probably a terrible idea. yuri taught him how to read and write. shiro tries to teach him the other subjects, but rin's not very interested.

(he is interested in cooking, though. lifehack: teach the demon kid you are now raising how to do math via cooking.)

rin keeps his bracelet on at all times around the monastery. he only takes it off when shiro needs rinka.

yukio does not grow up seeing demons. he has been blind in his left eye since birth- but that all changes after an encounter with a demon right before he moves into the true cross dorms. he doesn't remember much of what happened. all he knows is that rin saved him.

he learns demons are real, and that his father is an exorcist. and that rin has known about this all along, because he's been able to see demons his whole life. shiro grits his teeth, and decides to enroll yukio in cram school, with apologies to yuri.

(he has a bad feeling that yukio's encounter with that demon wasn't simply chance. the demon sight that mephisto sealed away is back- and with it, the vision in yukio's left eye.)

shiro doesn't tell yukio about his origins, nor that of his brother's. most of the exorcist world has forgotten that yuri egin ever had twins. only a few choice people who lived through that event are aware of this fact. there's only one son of Satan, and he is the paladin's familiar now. that's common knowledge.

mephisto: hm. I have a good idea. let's enroll rin at true cross academy as well!

rin, who has never gone to school in his life: i'm sorry what.

mephisto: you'll be able to protect your brother that way!

(shiro watches yukio at cram school. rin watches him at regular school. but also at cram school, because he's there too as shiro's familiar rinka. yukio just doesn't know that part.)

(at least he finally gets an excuse to wear that cool mask he bought that covers the lower half of his face. otherwise yukio would 100% recognize him. and he very much does not want that. he'd like to stay human in yukio's eyes for at least a little longer.)

one of my favorite senarios to imagine to put yukio in is sending him 10 years into the future (with the exwires usually) and everyone from their class are like chill adults including himself working their boring ass exorcist job and hes trying to assert dominance over them as the teacher™ but they're all like bro why so serious?

imagine if Lilith tried and make a deal with Adam

Lilith: As head of the angelic exterminators I’m prepared to offer a once in a lifetime deal to you and by extension your hell born subjects, and spawn

Adam: What is it?

Lilith: Your an incredibly influential demon, the most influential since you are the queen of this pit. Which would mean that the sinner who stole the winner must’ve thought he could do that do to him thinking he was somehow more powerful than Heaven!

Adam: I didn’t tell him to do anything! It’s not my fault what happened!

Lilith: But it IS your fault, for getting in the way of how things were MEANT to be. However, you have a chance to correct this little mistake of yours. All you have to do is to stop empowering them and we will spare the filth that are born down here and all we kill are the wretched. Sound good?

Adam laughs hard at the angel and wipes a tear from his eye looking at her eyes flashing a bit.

Adam: I'm sorry, but was that your form of a threat?

Lilith: I run the ship now so let me be clear, a demon took an angel that's no joke this situation is severe! You need to bring your subjects down! Get them straight in line, and while you are at it try and weaken them so they will take it as a sign! You must begin now because you're running out of time! So, if you want your family unharmed then make sure all your subjects are unarmed!

Adam's eyes flashed red in warning which caused Lilith to falter for a moment. That allowed Adam to take the lead in the conversation.

Adam: You mean do your bidding? No thanks, I'd rather not, this place called Hell is my domain so don't you dare act up just cause you're divinely ordained! How dare you try and threaten me! Just cause you're too stupid to flee from his royal majesty! I'll keep doing as I please and who are you to disagree? Now move you BITCH you're blocking my way!

Adam pushes her nonetheless gently past her and heads towards the exit of the embassy. But still calls out to Lilith while walking away.

Adam: You mustn't know me very well you're speaking to the QUEEN OF HELL!!! I can bring you down and have you begging on your knees.

Lilith with a scoff crosses her arms.

Lilith: Oh please!

Adam: I couldn't care less about what you lead, my power far out exceeds your authority and that's a guarantee!

Lilith: So, you're just going to let your spawn die huh? Always took you for the cowardice type but never thought I'd see you be a little bitch in per,

Lilith finds herself with her back thrown to the ground with Adam standing on top of her.

Adam: Oh, I'm sorry I couldn't hear you when you choked on your own spit! Let me be clear if you hurt them I'll make you wish you stayed gone, is that clear? I'll make you wish you were still dead for your sins. Oh this will be fun!

Adam's claws and fangs sharpened, his eyes glowing a manic yellow, no gold as he looked down at the angel who understood that the Queen of Hell wasn't kidding in the slightest.

Overlord Vaggie & Wrath/Envy Demon Lute from this AU I made awhile ago.

I call this AU Amnesia!Exorcists or Demon!Exorcists. Basically all the exorcist were once sinners or Demons that were part of a rebellion lead by lilith, and they had their memories wiped when a deal was made with Sera to allow them into heaven.

So in this AU, this wouod be the designs for pre-Exorcist Vaggie & Lute, before their memories were wiped and appearances changed due to them being in heaven.

In my Adam Queen of Hell fanfic the Exorcists are led by Lilith and instead of Lute, the Lieutenant of the Exorcists is Lilith’s husband Steve who is basically the male version of Eve. Steve like Eve is fiercely loyal to Lilith much like how Eve is fiercely loyal to Adam. But Steve doesn’t have Eve’s compassion and will do anything to see Lilith smile. Steve also hates Adam and wants to present his head to Lilith because Adam dared to leave Lilith for Lucifer and the couple convincing him to eat the Forbidden Fruit. While both Lilith and Steve are extremely cruel, they both love each other very much and are devoted to each other.

soap being raised on how evil and destructive satan’s blue flames are, known their destruction, how much they’ve taken yet, when soap sees ghost clad in hellish blue for the first time “beautiful” is all he can think to describe what he sees

pure sacrilege it is, from prodigy to blemish in but a moment. soap forces himself to care, keep up some pretence after ghost saves his life—after sinful blue saves his life—but soap has never been a traditional or conformist man

the second chapter of white phosphorus is done (or: the AU in which rin is shiro's familiar and yukio is completely in the dark). you can read it here, or start from the beginning here.

There was a flash of white, and the next thing Yukio knew, something had dropped down from the ceiling. It landed on the podium, Shiro moving his briefcase out of the way with practiced ease. The first thing his brain processed was the white tail lashing behind them, before taking in its humanoid frame. It was dressed casually, wearing ripped jeans and a t-shirt, and a pair of grungy high top sneakers- almost like an ordinary teenager, if it weren't for the jet black oni mask that concealed the lower half of their face. But what stood on the podium was undeniably a demon. Their hair was white, tinged with a pale blue- and their skin nearly just as pale. Their ears were pointed, and their nails were more like claws. There were bumps on their forehead that looked like the beginnings of horns- which he would have said was their most demonic feature, along with their tail- -if not for their eyes.

(or: shiro hazes his first year students every year, and this year is no exception. rinka is more than happy to go along with it.)
