Inuyasha Danganronpa!AU- This was originally just to be for Ishimondo, but alot of things fell into place. Since Peko was only from Kiyotaka, them having the same eyes makes her being Kikyo and him being Kagome work really well. They would both use swords instead of bows, since both characters practice the same style kendo. Mondo is Inuyasha,but I have them as a tiger half demon instead of a dog cause of his character and execution being tied to them. 🐅

Sakura is her sister as Lady Kaede, which works since they went to the same school before. Mondo as Inuyasha, his brother being the dead one instead of his father. Byakuya is Sesshomaru, not related to Mondo but their families are tied somehow, having business with Daiya somehow. Toko fits being Jaken with him really well, with Komaru as Rin. Chihiro is Shippo because of them feeling too small and weak and their dad dying. Maki is Sango with Shuichi as Kohaku. Kaito is Miroku because his dynamic with Maki and the wind tunnel is similar to how he was sick. Byakuya 2 is Myoga (Wise with big appetite), Hifume is the Hachiemon the Tanuki. Kiibo is Kanna because of what happens in game. Celeste as Kagura hating feeling restrained and playing both sides later on. Izuru is Naraku with Hajime their past self. Tsumugi is "Byakuya of the Dreams, Nagisa as Hakudoshi. Leon is Koga followed by his two friends Soda and Fuyuhiko. Yasuhiro replaced the grandfather as the one who gives old antiques to Kagome/Taka. Hiroko is the adult supervising, Takaaki doesn't know about the well and is always working. Makoto is Sota who's just living with them for the time being. Rantaro is Hojo, and though not in the drawing, Junko is the demon in the shikon jewel.

I didn't have room to draw them, but I put Danganronpa 2 characters as the band of Seven: Bankotsu: Ibuki, Kiyokotsu: Akane ,Jakotsu: Nagito, Ginkotsu: Nekomaru, Mukotsu: Teruteru, Renkotsu- Gundham, Suikotsu- Mikan.

P.S: Mondo sees Bikers and thinks they're the coolest thing. He starts styling his hair in a pomp and Hiroko offers to teach him how to ride a Motorcycle. If anyone else wants to draw this AU feels free!

Here is the piece I've been working on the last few days... blame the Art Demon who gave me an art idea, then forced me to work on it for about 20 hours in total 😅

Anyway I'm proud of it, even though I see many mistakes I do NOT want to correct, I'm too tired...

I made this piece because V3-4 has to be one of my favorite trials ever... it's so emotionally heavy, and it's the moment when Kaito and Kokichi's opposite ideals heavily clash. The despair Shuichi feels as he's forced to agree with Kokichi and to accuse his friend Gonta gets me every time! I tried to include elements from the trial. I was first supposed to include the map in the background, but it would've been too heavy.

I also wanted to include the "side" characters (and forgot about Maki after making the composition, but eh), Kiibo being the only other one who thinks they should suspect Gonta.

haters will act like he's irrational, but he stuck out so long with no support system since he couldn't trust anyone and managed to play things off even when he was finally starting to lose his shit in a situation when it was reasonable for him to feel like this (tbh even fans make him often crack way more easily to make shipping content, when he's so resilient and then on the other hand not really lone wolfing it either bc he cooperated as much as he could) his way of going about things was smart, there isn't much else he could do, Tsumugi was setting up others to distrust him as well

Ves: AAAAAAAAAAAUGH!!! he did he lasted so fucking long in the worst possible situation he tried so HARD to cooperate and it just. did not work. if i think abt how quickly his plans fell apart i will explode i'd b doing so much worse in his situation

sometimes it's just like, you're talking about paranoia? trust and attachment issues? untreated mental illness? I think we have to be introduced, there's so much I could show you. I am not saying he doesn't have anything of the sort, but there's a lot more of reasonable justified distrust there, and still, it could be so much worse, trapping the next person who thoughtlessly assigns him diagnosis in a demonizing way in a room with me and making them listen to me rant about my failed relationships history for educational purposes

Ves: it's trueee people act like he's so strange for breaking down but LIKE??? HE'S PRETTY NORMAL FOR THAT ACTUALLY???? he clearly already had Issues but the killing game was perfectly packaged to dig into those this is why DRS and UTDP mostly suck at characterizing him they're still stuck in the idea of him at his absolute worst he was nicer even in ch1 than he is in some of those events

[and then my amazing wife dropped this bomb, and she says I'm the smart one smh] Sini: The thing is, there’s him being shitty on purpose and him pretending to be the mastermind/making himself appear suspicious. There is a clear difference in how he acts. In DRS and UTDP he usually just comes across as playful. Yeah he’s a jackass, but I think his whole “bad guy” persona (the one we see in the beginning of the game) goes beyond the killing game. I see it as a way for him to protect himself, to push people away and not appear as vulnerable. As he’s said before, everyone always sees him as a villain so it’s the perfect role for him. I think that reasoning goes beyond what was happening to him in canon. I do agree his characterization could’ve used a bit more reworking, but I think for the most part they did a good job in showing how differently he acts in a peaceful setting in small ways. The fact that he never uses his scary sprites once or is seen to be more nice with characters like Mikan and Gonta. Especially with Gonta, where he seems to be more vulnerable around. And while this was probably just a mistake, I like to think him being shown as not as pale in DRS as a sign of him getting better. In a non killing game environment he seems to be doing pretty well for himself. But that’s what I believe, anyway

Ves: h that's really sweet actually,,,i may have been a LITTLE hard on the side modes. it's mostly the way he treats kiibo that drives me INSANE, the mikan n gonta stuff is [ok hand emoji].

Sini: Yeah, I agree. I can understand the Kiibo hate, but he doesn’t have to go as hard as he did in game. It’s not like there is a reason to suspect him. The only thing that could maybe explain it is maybe he suspects he could be tied to Monokuma? Since he, the Monokubz, and Monomi do exist here. He was rude to Monomi and seems to suspect her of being not what she seems ALSO, he’s always gonna be a little shit cause he’s a greedy whore. He wants attention and entertainment so badly.

Ves: THISSSSS it's so important i have seen so many people question why he does things where the answer is literally just that he wants attention like there is not always a plot sometimes he just wants shuuichi to chase him

I was wondering if you had anything you just wanted to ramble about with the fic? Also last chapter still consuming my thoughts💪💪

I have been thinking very much about the daily life of all the v3 kiddos before the fic really kicked off. Like the idea of all of them adjusting to each other’s…. Odd habits and trying to live together.

I could get into how sad it is like…. Kids trying to bond and come together after being through similar Incredibly Traumatic Situations™️ but there’d be a lot of sweet stuff too.

I think Rantaro would be very helpful in all that, he was one of the first and he’s got a very chill energy about him so I imagine he’s very good at putting the others at ease… till he disappears, anyway.

I think Kirumi probably had a very very hard time adjusting to all the chaos, living somewhere that’s been abandoned for the better part of two decades leaves a LOT of things in need of cleaning and repair, and even after she manages to get everything in a somewhat livable condition again she has to deal with the OTHERS:

Ryoma getting footprints on the walls and ceilings, Kaito losing slippers and not even noticing they fell off, Gonta breaking things (on accident of course) very often, Angie’s art showing up on any surface she can get her hands on, etc

I think Miu also had a hard time adjusting to having a group, it had always just been her and her two dumb friends for forever. I think if Kaito hadn’t shown up and declared himself her co- leader she wouldn’t be nearly as open as she is now, he really made an effort to force out of her workshop to hang out with the others at first. He is taking every introvert he can get his hands on and forcing them to participate in group activities he cannot be stopped.

Also like…. Kokichi, Kiibo, and Shuichi all have little glowy eyes- I bet this took some getting used to from some of the others. Imagine walking down the hall at night and just seeing little glowing demon eyes peeping at you from around the corner.

Kiyo finds all of this weirdness very fascinating, of course, he has taken extensive notes on everyone at this point I’m sure.

Which ultimately leaves the question: Where's Monaca? Is she still alive? Is she working with the aliens? Is she perhaps doing this not to create a new Makoto or new Junko, but rather make the aliens and whatever humans are watching realize that Hope and Despair is ultimately pointless because it'll either loop indefinitely with no end or they'll wind up glorifying one side and demonizing the other without truly knowing the repercussions of both, so the best thing to do is to say "screw both of them, I'm done". Which is why Shuichi, Maki, Himiko, and Kiibo all said screw it: THEY FINALLY UNDERSTOOD whatever point Monaca was trying to make. They created a drill stronger than hope or despair, that pierced through the Danganronpa world/orb/technodrome.

Tsumugi was obsessed with Danganronpa, to the point where she made it her whole life. But she always referred to herself as plain and bland, because perhaps Tsumugi knows Monaca is watching. Monaca finds hope vs. despair plain and boring, so Tsumugi who loves it so much says she's plain and boring.

And why does Kiibo look like Makoto (something I realized SUPER late) and why is Kiibo specifically for the audience? To show everyone firsthand what hope vs. despair leads to: literally ultimates killing each other, spouting empty platitudes about hope and despair, it ending, and then a new cast comes in for a later season to do pretty much the same thing. Once Kiibo rejected the antenna, he was free. Free to finally take his fate in his own hands. To not be a Makoto. To finally end it.

Also, Miu looks like Junko, and I'm headcanoning that Miu was gonna be the mastermind because there's a lot you can do with inventing (mad scientist stuff) and she looks a lot like Junko (even adopting the Junko m*****f****** Enoshima with her Miu m******f***** Iruma shtick and the mushroom sprouts when she's sad), but not only did that not fit with the end, but she didn't have the edge.

Another sidenote, the ahoge's are actually alien-related. Why else do you think they can slow down time, shoot theoretical/figurative bullets, and some other third thing.
