"Do you wanna hang out later?" Itadori asked, his head tilting like a like a dog. Megumi was staring at him. He was lost in Itadori's amber eyes.

He was thinking about kissing Itadori right there on the spot. He looked like a puppy, with the way he was animatedly talking about something. It was endearing.

It took itadori waving his hand in front of Megumi's face to get him to snap out of it.

"Helloo?" Itadori dragged out the O. "Earth to Megs?"

"H-huh? What did you say? I was lost in thought." Megumi blushed slightly, hopefully not enough for Itadori to catch.

Itadori was dense in a way, but not when it came to Megumi. It's like he was fine-tuned to notice every change with Megumi. Even if the change was tiny. He definitely noticed the blush and the way he was staring at him. He smiled brightly.

"I asked if you wanted to hang out tonight? You get to pick the place this time." Itadori said, chuckling slightly.

Megumi pouted a bit. He looked downwards towards the sidewalk, trying to hide his blush this time.

"Sure, Yuuji, how about my house?" Megumi looked back up at Itadori. He had a small smile on his face.

Megumi blushed more and turned his head to the side in embarrassment. Itadori snorted. He locked pinkies with Megumi, and they started to walk to Megumi's house.

"Well, this is my home. Do you want to go to my room? Or hang out here. We can play video games here because I don't have a console in my room." Itadori hummed in thought.

"Oh! How about we play some video games in here and then move to your room. Would that be good?" Itadori smiled.

"Sure, Yuuji." Megumi smiled softly at him.

"Hey! you got me with a shell! Unfair!" Itadori yelled. They were playing Mario Kart 8 deluxe, and Itadori was losing. "I don't have a Switch at home! Go easy on me!" Itadori complained.

"Nah, you just suck! Boom! I win again!" Megumi taunted. He stuck his tongue out like a child. He felt his inner child slip out aroundItadori. He may have had his reserves at first, but Itadori was easy to warm up to. Megumi was laughing hard. For the first time in forever, it felt like.

Itadori stopped yelling to admire Megumi. He looked so pretty like this. Laughing, having fun. It felt so nice seeing a sweet expression on his face. Itadori couldn't take it anymore. He grabbed the sides of Megumi's face and pulled him in.

The kiss was short, but long enough for Megumi to be in shock. Megumi looked at Itadori, his eyes wide.

"Shit! I'm sorry. I didn't know if you wanted it or if I took your body language wrong. Shit. I'm so sorry-" Itadori rambled on. Megumi reeled himself in. He shook his head and did the same thing Itadori did. This kiss was longer, and sweeter than the first.

It took Itadori a second, but he kissed Megumi back. The kiss was like fireworks igniting. It took forever for one of them to finally take the step but it was worth it.

They pulled apart to take a breath. Their faces were red. Itadori attempted another kiss but was stopped.

"If we want to continue, we have to go to my room. I'm not willing to get caught by everyone because they would freak out." Itadori nodded in understanding before being lead to the room and the locking the door behind them.

"Megs~, we're home!" Gojo looked around to not see Megumi anywhere. He saw Itadori's shoes by the door and realized something. "Awww, Suguru~, they got together the same way we did!" He looked behind him to see Geto not far behind with the girls. Geto and Gojo took Mimiko, Nanako, and Tsumiki out for a girls' night. So they were just getting home.

"Wait, really? Aww, Megumi finally has a boyfriend."

"Wait, really!? Finally!" Tsumiki and Nanako shouted. They all decided to pester him in the morning.

SUNSOFT is Back! Retro Game Selection coming west on September 6 for PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch - Gematsu

Publishers Red Art Games and SUNSOFT will release SUNSOFT is Back! Retro Game Selection for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam on September 6 in the west for $9.99 / €9.99, the companies announced. Physical editions will also be available for PlayStation 5 on October 4 in Europe.

SUNSOFT is Back! Retro Game Selection first launched digitally for Switch and PC via Steam on April 18, 2024 in Japan. A physical edition is due out for Switch on October 10 in Japan.

In Europe, the PlayStation 5 version will also be available in physical standard edition for €34.99. A Red Art Games store-exclusive Deluxe Edition, also priced at €34.99, includes a copy of the game with a reversible cover, an exclusive sleeve featuring alternate cover art, a double-sided poster, and an acrylic stand of SUNSOFT’s logo.

new year’s eve

AN: Still writing the rest of the xmas fic, but couldn’t keep this part in the drafts today.

Down the hill you could see the subsequent fireworks popping, occasionally a later echoing pop, that formed across the valley. The sound like pouring rain on a tin roof and you wondered if the embers had fallen on anyone’s roofs.

Golds, reds, distant fireworks bloomed like spring flowers in the dead of winter. you could hear the distinct muffled pop. Sat on the breakfast table and watched, sipping at the hot chocolate. “Ten minutes left.” Angie said quietly, wrapping her arms around you.

You hummed in acknowledgment. Then asked, “You wanna spend the rest of the year with me?”

“I thought it was clear I want to spend the rest of every year with you.” She teased gently, “Or have I not been clear enough?” Kissed the side of your cheek lightly, and settled in before she asked. “What are you doing up?”

“Kept hearing the fireworks, might as well greet the new year.”

She hummed, rested her chin against your shoulder. And watched the fireworks. In the distance you noticed several large fireworks going off. 

“Oh they sprung for the deluxe package today.” You murmured watching the fireworks keep coming from one specific spot on a far hill.

“That’s either the Hayes family or the Vaughn’s family.” 

The next firework went up like a popcorn kernel, countless pops followed the first large pop.

She glanced at the microwave clock and smiled, the fireworks ramped up. Angie lifted your chin gently, and turned you to face her. “Happy New Year.”

Kissed you slowly, so softly it made you melt. 

A large pop, forced you to break apart out of surprise. The two of you watched the fireworks, just down the hill and a bit to the left, the sky was being lit up. Firework after firework, you barely had processed the first one, before the next one was already popping. “Holy shit.” You murmured, watching as the fireworks just kept going.

“That’s the Robison’s.” Angie sighed. “Every year.”

“It must’ve cost them a fortune.”

“I could do better.” She sulked slightly, and you smiled at her. So endeared. 

“I know you could.”

Gently she tugged you away from the window and the still blooming fireworks, towards the bedroom.

You spoke up amid the muffled echoing thunder. “If you think about it, it’s kinda sweet.”

“What is?”

“The entire town lights a firework, everyone doing it separately but together in a sort of, we did it, we made it celebration.” You smiled, “It’s rather sweet to think that everyone’s connected in that way.”

“Everyone just likes setting shit on fire.” Angie murmured. As if to prove that fact, a large boom shook the house slightly.

You stared at her in surprise, “They’re still going?”

She shrugged.

Then you sighed, “Well my opinion still stands, I think it’s sweet.”

The Winds of Fate.

1106 was a wild chapter, I'm excited to talk about it!

Dorry and Brogy really said, "if you won't come to Elbaf, we'll go to you!" Never considered them arriving here but I love the choice to have them arrive now. Dorry and Brogy already knowing that Luffy is the Sun God stands out, and it's cute how excited they are to see him. I hope they brought snacks. I'm gonna guess they saw Luffy's new wanted poster and came to the conclusion about his devil fruit themselves.

Meanwhile, Vegapunk is bleeding on the ground, and Bonney is primed to steal the show by turning Saturn into a cartoonish pile of soot(I hope,) acting as the "heart" to her newly gained army of Pacifistas. And Luffy? He is laughing and numb to it all. The SMILE fruit/Nika comparisons are strong in this chapter.

Both are still hurt themselves, though I'm wondering what Stussy and Sentomaru will want to do now that Vegapunk has been stabbed. Are we about to learn more about Vegapunk's past?

Vegapunk's thoughts about Bonney and Kuma/the Pacifistas remind me a lot of what went down between the Akazaya and fake Oden. And his line "even if the whole world should be your enemy," is similar to lines from the final Wano opening, Highest Point. "With the world as my enemy, I stand my ground on quivering legs."

I love the decision to not show Luffy's eyes much in the chapter. They're always shaded or somehow obscured, except when he's in the Nika pose, and even then, his eyes are closed. Kizaru's line about wanting darker shades last chapter is an interesting one alongside Luffy's eyes being covered for much of this chapter.

Hi Robonosuke! You've appeared alongside the Nika heartbeat twice now, though haven't moved an inch. Very hmmm. I like that Bonney gets her own turning the tides of the battle moment, ala Tama from chapter 1017. Also is a bit reminiscent of Nami using Big Mom's Vivre card too. Cool!

Maybe the reason Robonosuke is so slow to wake up is because these dern kids keep making a fuss on his lawn. They woke him up from his nap! Fireworks everywhere, buildings crashing down, a silly rubber boy is making a mess while he eats, leaving food scraps everywhere. Just a terrible day for the Ancient Robot.

A lot of grand goings on are paying out on Egghead right now, and Luffy is back up and ready for another round it seems. He was given food and activated Gear 5 once more, the Buster Call Deluxe was swiftly dealt with, the PX units are on Bonney's side now, and powerful allies have arrived. Things are going so well... Dare I say it almost feels that they're going a bit too well.

I've read enough stories to know that when things begin going this smoothly, it often is a signal from the author that something is about to go very very wrong. And Luffy is at the center of it. However, the manga is on break next week. We all get to wait a bit longer to find out what happens from here, ahyahyahyahya! I'm curious to find out!

obviously mindy is a huge sweets girl, but she's also a big foodie. she adores anything with interesting flavors. 

she was 1000% that kid making ‘potions’ at the table in restaurants with random drinks and sauces. 

grew up doing gymnastics. don’t ask her to do a flip… because she will.

has a little brother! he's one of the few people who knows about her nerdy side. 

a shrieker. screams when she’s happy. screams when she’s scared. yeah she’s one of those girls. 

may or may not make some... 'special' candies here and there for her and her friends… when supplied with the proper ‘ingredients’ of course... if you catch my drift...

this girl always has business cards on her. you'll never catch her slacking on an opportunity to promote her candy.

mindy dabbles both on the mass production side of candy as well as the more deluxe side. some of her candies she creates with the mindset of accessibility in mind. for example, her signature pitaya-guava lollipops could easily be sold in various convenience and superstores. however, some of her other confections are too fresh and fragile, and therefor are exclusive to her own storefront, special orders and commissions.

has a small tattoo of a chocolate bar with the wonka ‘w’ flipped upside down to look like an ‘m’ for ‘mindy.’

Dive Deeper:

When you grow up a creative, energetic child with an overactive imagination and a very supportive family… you get someone like Mindy Zaki: a girl who’s childhood dream bloomed with her. Like many children, Mindy had a pretty wild sweet tooth from the get-go. Candy was such a spectacle! It could pop like fireworks on your tongue, make any party level up, and was the perfect way to seal any celebration. She loved how much emotion could surround such little delicacies. Her fixation on sweets and confections grew from easy bake ovens and junior candy making kits to taking over her parent’s kitchen with state of the art supplies. Even now, Mindy is still astounded by the variety of candy from country to country… but there was still so much more to be explored! Aren’t people sick of the same tired flavors? Grape, orange, cherry… sure they were classics… but where’s all the creativity? Her drive and passion are truly impressive… and she won’t quit until her candies are blowing Hershey and Mars out of the water.

On the outside, people look at Mindy and see a pretty girl all dressed up and reaping the rewards of a lifestyle that comes with the ‘popular’ crowd. Sure, that’s all true… but Mindy is actually a secret ‘nerd.’ She’s always had a special appreciation for the creativity that Japan had with its candy and snacks. Delving more into their culture and customs, Mindy found herself getting really into anime. Then came manga… then comics.. then superheroes, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and even video games. Naturally, no one really knows this about her. She makes sure that side of her is well hidden… especially from Tiffany and the other Sugar Racers. 

Ah, the Sugar Racers… sweet like sugar, of course! But sugar can be sour, too. Mindy understands this about herself, which is why she gets on with the crew the way she does. Compared to the other racers, Mindy is more on the laid back and open minded side— though she knows she’s by no means a saint. Mindy can be quite self-centered. Everything she does, she does for Mindy. All of the ‘do gooder’ activities and events she participates in around town… yeah that’s just to promote her business and paint her in a good light. Even when it comes to picking on Vanellope… Mindy knows its mean. She knows the bullying isn’t actually benefiting the racers. But it neither hurts nor helps herself… so she just lets it happen. Besides, it’s much better for her to be in with the Sugar Racers than out with the glitch.

Mindy is no stranger to being underestimated. The girl is well aware her niche and colorful little dream is bit outlandish to some… but she’s working her ass off for it. It’s not often that one person has both the creative and the business side to bring a brand to life, but Mindy does. She’s a whirlwind of a one-woman show. One minute she’s rolling out numbers for budgeting, supplies, goals, quota… and the next minute she’s brainstorming new flavor combinations or imagining if candied ice cream drops would be possible. Maybe candied freeze dried ice cream? Her mind truly never stops… and don’t even get her started on packaging! In truth, running a business by herself can get overwhelming at times. It’s not uncommon to catch her speeding a few laps around the track whenever she needs to let off some steam.

Fashion is a huge outlet for self expression for Mindy. She’s definitely the best dressed candy maker you’ve ever seen. Not that there’s probably much competition in that department… Who’s she got to beat anyway? Mr. Wonka? Please. Either way you’ll hardly ever catch her in an un-styled outfit. (If you do, something is seriously wrong. Be prepared to handle her tears.) Mindy is always dressed to the nines and is one of those girls that can pull off anything. Girly, edgy, preppy, street, classic… she does it all! It’s so much fun for her to style hop! However, while Mindy does love fashion, she doesn’t so much care for brands or labels like some of the other Sugar Racers do. She likes what she likes… and it makes no difference to her whether she found something on the Chanel runway or in the corner of a thrift store. She knows she looks good and feels good regardless.

So, here you go @malewifemammon you wanted Boris or Julius, so I decided to give you a bit of both! it's not romantic, just a bit of platonic tomfoolery, but I hope you enjoy anyway. (I hope all went well on the post this time - I'm unused to Tumblr and it's noticeable in the mistakes I'm making, lol).

Friendly cats.

Boris was by nature a friendly cat. Though he liked exploring the little known nooks and crannies of Wonderland and was a cat who was fine going his own way and in fact would have problems if anybody tried to hold him down in one place for too long, that didn't mean he was an introvert. There were many moments where he could build upon his friendly reputation, first and foremost during special (or not so special) occasions. 

He enjoyed the post work drink celebrations, or the new attraction festivities, or the old "attraction to be bulldozed" festivities. He enjoyed the charged atmosphere of the flickering lights and the cozy delirium which took one over when they had one too many drinks. He enjoyed bugging and fussing over people too.

All of this, naturally, didn't mean that other people were as much of a party animal as he was - but what Boris was also was somebody who enjoyed dragging others in situations they might not fully agree with. It was like chasing Pierce - Boris could do that forever, be satisfied with the evidence of his hunting prowess and with the feeling that the creepy mouse was pretty much helpless to resist him and he could do whatever he liked with him. 

Julius was another one of those who resigned themselves to situations they hated simply because they thought it was easier than making too much of a fuss about it. Besides, Boris had been easy on him when they'd met unexpectedly near the merry-go-round, and the man who wore too many layers had shot at Boris in his own playground.

 He could have done more than graze his cheek and his elbow with his bullets, even if the rule was "meet eachother periodically and fight" not "put your back into the fighting and take it seriously". That he hadn't obviously meant the grumpy hermit owed him entertainment. 

He was even kind enough to go get him bandages. "Hey, the doctor's office is around that corner. What do you mean 'you'll deal with it yourself?' Cmon, you don't want an infection, and it's not as if I don't need medical attention from your lucky shot either." 

And it had been a lucky shot - the bullet had pinged against a metal panel and bounced right back just when Boris had lifted his gun to start shooting back. Speckles of red rained from his hand. 

He couldn't say it wasn't unexpected to get injured during the fights that the game forced them into - meeting people when they were having a bad day automatically led to them taking the bad day out on whoever was their partner that moment - and Boris enjoyed really getting into his fights with people, and often picked them even outside of the requirements. 

That was the reason he didn't actually mind getting injured - it was just how much of a lucky shot Julius had managed to made his inner sadist stand up to attention. 

Though it might look like he was being kind, dragging the kicking and complaining deluxe clockmaker with him to be seen by one of the park's many first aid centers. (Because of course they had many, there were too many, for when their attractions derailed or went at a speed that damaged the human body. Everything was about thrill and excitement in their park, including the excitement of uncertain death or crippling). But that was just to bring Julius into a fake sense of safety. 

Boris planned to meet up with Gowland soon and with the two of them, he was sure they'd be able to pressure the man into going on one of their attractions free of charge, because they were just being "kind and thoughtful and you didn't want to spit on Gowland's hospitality, did you?" 

They'd get drinks and watch the fireworks afterwards, so long as the time period didn't move from being night and even if it did, then the fireworks would be replaced with some other kinds of festivities. The other roleholders could say one thing about the amusement park, but it wasn't that they didn't know how to party. 

Julius let out a heavy, heavy sigh, the type that involved his entire body, shoulders slumping, rocking forwards. No matter how much "no, stop, I'm not going to do that" or how authoritatively he tried to sound, Boris was one of those people who could really play deaf to the hilt and he was led into a cart for a rollercoaster. 

On one end Gowland was jabbering:  "This is one of my latest builds! Look at that streamlined, silver track which gleams in the light! Some people have complained that when the sun hits them just right they'd end up blinded, but it's dusk right now so that's not something you need to worry about-" while on his other side there was a cat muffling his snickering and meeting his eyes for a second with a mischievous light in their golden depths. 

Julius' injuries itched underneath the bandages the cat had cajoled him into, and he'd just wanted to get this meeting over with so he'd eventually accepted getting help with them. 

(Besides, it meant he didn't have to tie them at home, freeing him up for more efficient work. Besides, no blood in the delicate gears was always a plus - otherwise he'd probably not even do anything about them, just leave them open as a reprimand to himself about letting the Cheshire Cat get the best of him.) 

The cart tipped over the incline, speeding down the track as people let out excited screams, while Julius himself held onto the railing with a white knuckled fist. At least he was aware that Gowland wouldn't want to kill a "guest" or he'd be worried about going into any rollercoasters he and his freeloader suggested, even with their company. 

Boris was skillful at making sure he always landed on his feet, and Gowland's muscles probably meant he'd end up with less broken bones, compared to his own, which were far more fragile as somebody who didn't exactly eat right and spent most of his time indoors working on clocks.  

Despite how this was supposedly an apology for shooting him twice, this felt like a punishment for shooting the cat once. 

Boris tried to make up for it afterwards. "Come on, I'll show you all the best snack stalls. You like coffee… don't you? There is a cafe not very far away that does really good ones!"

Though the cat's tail had twitched in a way that showed he was hunting while they were going on the attractions, it was now simply confidently tracing the air while its owner moved through the crowds, looking back at Gowland and him now and then to assure himself they were following.

"You know, you might think he's bullying, but that's really how he shows his love," Gowland stated, amused at the wariness and confusion warring on Julius' face. 

He scoffed. Julius was aware of how people avoided him, and while he didn't take injuries from forced fights as personally as he could, that didn't mean he trusted friendly gestures more. 

But somehow, he had a feeling as Boris turned a toothy grin his way at the counter of the café, and asked for his favorite drink - now that the cat had him in his sights, and knew what a pushover he was, he wouldn't easily let him be.

8. Do you have a favorite and/or least favorite instance?

I'm going to break this down between "dungeon instances" and "quest instances" because I confused myself about which was intended. :D This is only a sampling, as there are so many to choose from!

For dungeon instances, my favorites include: Inn of the Forsaken for its very interesting mechanics, Carn Dum for the epic screenshots at the end, and Den of Pughlak even though I haven't actually played it myself, it's just such a cool and trippy instance.

My least favorite Dungeon Instances are Mirror-halls of Lumul-nar because I always get lost and can't keep track of the mirrors, and Eithel Gwaur, the Filth-well, because I do not like the sewers, and I also always get lost.

As for quest instances, my favorites include The Blade That was Broken, since it is the culmination of so much hard work and a great look into some behind the scenes of book events, the instance in Imloth Melui with Forlong's wife which I won't name because of spoilers, but it is a little heartbreaking, and it's also chronologically the first time you see Minas Tirith, at least from what I remember (and this might depend on how high your draw distance setting is and how good your computer is at rendering it). Another one that is my favorite is The Darkest Hour just because of how batshit crazy it is. I was constantly in a struggle between utmost confusion and laughing my ass off by the end. Memorably, I remember watching Professor Corey Olsen doing this instance the first time during a LOTRO marathon stream to kick off his Signum U fundraising event, and the look on his face at the end was everything I was hoping for. Also, the level 15 Minstrel class quest instance is a really good one too.

Least favorite quest instances include the level 15 Hunter quest instance because it takes ages to find the stupid wolf you are supposed to kill, and there are respawns >.<, and also The Hideout in the Race of Man prologue because Sara Oakheart is a little bitch, and it kicks off some major Rangercide that makes me sad.

15. Do you have a favorite class to play? A favorite specialization? Red and Blue Hunter, Yellow RK, and I am just loving the crap out of my Beorning. I mostly play her in red because I solo most of the time, but I'm aware that Yellow has insane group healing.

20. Do you spend a lot of time on cosmetics- outfits, weapons, housing, pets? Do you have any favorites?

Oh yes I do spend a lot of time, although it mostly comes in spurts. Weapons I spend the least time on, because while there are some that I think are really cool, it isn't my focus.

For housing I have several houses, one classic Falathlorn Deluxe house, a premium Gondor kinship house for my main kinship, a premium Gondor Luxurious house, and a classic Falathlorn kinship house for my storage kinship. Most of my favorite housing decorations are the Gondorian stuff you get from the Dol Amroth rep vendors, especially the bookshelves and the bookshelf couch (which I desperately want irl), and the decorations from the Midsummer Festival.

Pets are something I spend a lot of time gaining, but not a whole lot of time using, lol. Despite the fact that I rarely use pets, I have several favorites. The Yule Tree Huorn is a pet that came out of Yule Gold Hobbit presents, so it's very rare. I only have 3 across almost 30 characters. I also love the little mumak pet, as the ambient sounds it makes just clash so much with how small it is. That and the Firework Corgi (from the Anniversary Festival bought with Mithril Coin), are the only two pets I've spent Lotro Points on. The Pumpkin Gourd lurker and the Pumpkin Lantern lurker are so cute too!

And, oh, the cosmetics. I could write a 50 page thesis on all the cosmetics I love in this game. 15 years worth of cosmetics is SO MUCH! I am particularly fond of the Simbelmyne Spring Festival dress and tunic, as well as Arwen's dinner dress (it dyes *so well*!) and the dress of Entwining Blossoms, both from the Midsummer Festival. The Vestments of the Autumn Sage are really neat too. Armour-wise, I absolutely love the Tempered Iron Hauberk you can get from a quest in Dunland, and it's also available in Lalia's Market for Mithril Coin. Also, the light armour you get from the High Elf intro (Time Worn Tunic and Waistcoat) is so nice too. Also, the Supple Wildermore Robe (crafted lvl 85 Eastemnet armour) is a really nice traveling wardrobe piece.
