Nori-wahli – Supergiant Warfare
Tumblr media
“ Aceasta este cea a creaturilor reale de pe planeta noastră. Limba maternă numită ‘pată mare plutitoare’, sau ceva de genul strălucește pe aripile sale. Nori-vahlii este marele petele plutitor. ”
– unknown author in Romanian language
I cannot explain this one 😭
Nori-wahli is the fictional species of extraterrestrial life introduced in Rescris as part of Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure sequel.
Take Note: All of my drawings and photos of people, animals, plants, mythology, disasters, organizations, events, and more are purely fictitious. These are included in real-life situations and events with fictional characters or creatures that aren't real, be at your own risk. For nationality or indigenous, be advised. Ognimdo.
Physiology
With the exception of their physical characteristics and their six flippers for flight and mobility, Nori-wahli were similar to right whales. Thatrollwan Mites, an extraterrestrial lifeform that resembles mites in our world, covered the Nori-wahli. They caused it to turn into a wart or tumor due to their advanced age or diet, yet it was innocuous and resembled barnacle rocks without actual barnacles.

I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling, friend, and I hope you are able to rest and relax soon- sending birds, boba and hugs your way ♥
While she's not exactly an Elezen, I created my PF2e character, Delphia, and her crow companion Nox in FFXIV recently.
Delphi is an Aelomic elf- a homebrewed offshoot of elves who grew up in a magically infused city that suffered a great calamity, leaving the city in ruins and it's people scraping out a meager existence on the outskirts of said ruins.
She's a Seeker of the Aelomic Order, tasked to travel Golarion seeking Aelomic artifacts stolen from the haunted ruins, and destroying them so they cannot be used to repeat the destruction wrought onto her homeland elsewhere.
elezen or birds
嗨! Lunar New Year is fast approaching, but I'm not feeling especially celebratory. While I am managing my struggles, my mind is in great turmoil.
As such, I'd like to humbly request a reblog with your elezen OCs, my friends and mutuals. No elezen? Provide a bird pic instead. I happen to love both very much.
All that aside, I hope you are staying hydrated, fed, rested, and at your optimal temperature.

Calming Clouds
Lost! We get a little thing with Sola
Sola has to make the clouds, but comes across a scared mortal.
Calming Clouds
Sola couldn’t understand why everyone liked the mortal realm so much. The only nice mortal was Delphia. The sky in the gods’ realm was prettier. She could change the colors on the clouds to draw better pictures. Luna could create his own constellations. Plus it was the right size for them all in their realm.
She still felt drawn to it now and then. Spent days trying to find the good things the others mentioned. Felix said that mortals made interesting things, but all of it was so small. She couldn’t see how it was worth looking at. Ryder said he found wonder in the battles most missed. She never found anything other than a bunch of tiny people hurting each other.
Luna said the stars were stronger. That could be true, but her clouds were weaker. Ash said nature told them stories of the world, but she couldn’t hear its voice. Alessia said it felt like home, but she used to be mortal. Lord Life and Lady Death even loved it and they couldn’t even leave the gods’ realm.
The only one who agreed with her was Rhys. Except they weren’t exactly sharing an opinion. He always said the mortal realm was noisy and hard to focus in. She thought it was empty and too quiet. Even the mortals that worshipped her were quiet. Like she’d hurt them if they called for her too loudly. She might forget that grabbing them is bad sometimes, but she would never hurt one. If she did she’d take them to get fixed up right away.
All of that said, she still wandered around when it was time to perform her duty. Her clouds faded every few days and she had to make more. Without them storms couldn’t form and nature would suffer. No one had to tell her that, she knew what her role meant. A goddess of the sky had to maintain the sky and maintain it she would. It definitely helped that the others always said how nice her clouds were.
It was fine though. She had grown to like the quiet days working on clouds for mortals. Sometimes she stayed near groups, but they got scared when her clouds appeared. The only mortal that had stayed to see her make clouds was the little cloud. Delphia was probably just being nice, but that was ok. She didn’t need anyone around while she drew if they hated it so much. At least that’s what she told herself. She repeated it as she picked an isolated spot to start. Then she heard a noise.
Sola froze and focused. It wasn’t hard to find the source. A mortal not far from where she stood. Sola approached, still hidden from any prying eyes. Only a god could see her and that was always better. Then no one got scared.
She kneeled once the mortal was in front of her. Leaned closer to get a good look at them. They had pointy ears, she’d never seen mortals like that before. They were smaller than Delphia. Sola thought all mortals were at least that big. She leaned closer and tried to see past the long dark hair that covered their face.
“What do I do?” they cried. Sola furrowed her brows. Maybe… she could help. “How do I get home?”
She brought a hand near them. Wrapped her fingers around and paused just before she’d closed them into a fist. No grabbing. She knew that. It was so hard to remember, but she had to be better. Delphia was helping her and said mortals would all appreciate that she doesn’t grab them. Although, any mortal she did meet ran away…
“Maybe I can find another path…”
The mortal started to stand. Sola made herself visible to stop them. Her fingers around them made it hard to see their face. She opened her hand enough to get a good look at them. Gray eyes stared at her. They looked scared… mortals were always scared.
“Nature no,” they breathed. New tears started from the little mortal. Sola closed her hand to try and comfort them. “Please Sunburst don’t hurt me. I just want to go home.”
“Why would I hurt you?” Sola asked. She was so tired of mortals saying things like that. Tired of coming to this realm and being seen as something bad. “I want to help you. I could take you home.”
“No! Please! Let me stay here!”
Sola pouted and huffed. Still she pulled her hand back and sat up tall again. “You were the one crying. I just wanted to help get you home safely.”
“H-help?”
Sola nodded.
“W-why would you h-help me, Sunburst?”
“I’m Sola, not Sunburst. Is that who used to be me?”
“Are you not the sun goddess?”
“No I am. I’m kind of new. I know what I need to do, but I haven’t been around too long.”
“H-how long…?” Their voice had gotten quieter as they spoke. Sola leaned close to hear better.
“What was that?”
“How long have you been the goddess?”
“Um… I think at least a century. I don’t really know.”
Sola smiled widely. She never followed the passing of time; it didn't matter to her. Clouds, the sun, the sky, they were what she noticed. The sun was old, the clouds blips of time that changed over days, the sky eternal. She was young to the sun and the sky. Old to the clouds. All of it was more than enough to teach her what was needed. To tell her what her domain needed from her.
“What… happened to the old one?” they asked. Sola’s smile fell.
“No one will talk about it. Lord Life and Lady Death know, I think Felix does too. They’re gone though and always will be.”
The mortal looked away. Sola wasn’t sure what to do. They were alone and she didn’t want to leave them. The others said don’t interfere and usually she didn’t. Even when someone told mean stories about Luna. This time… she couldn’t just ignore them.
“I-I’m Alais,” they said. “I got lost then I fell and… and I don’t think I can get home.”
“Oh… Well that’s bad. I can take you home or I guess just help you back to where you fell?”
“Could… could we just stay together for a while?”
“Sure!” She looked to the sky. “I still have to make the clouds though. Wanna watch?”
“Oh, um, yeah if that's ok Sun- Sola? I always wanted to see them made.”
“Great! You can help me pick what to draw!”
Sola brought her hand towards Alais. Freezing as they flinched back. Right, no grabbing. She had to be better. Especially if a mortal was actually talking to her. Maybe it would make Delphia proud of her. Then… then maybe the little cloud would hate her less.
“Sorry!” she said. Her voice had gotten a bit loud, but she remembered to make it safe for mortals. “I forget I shouldn’t grab sometimes. I’m getting better! Just tell me if I do something wrong. Ok?”
Alais nodded. Sola shifted around to stand up in a way they’d be safe. It was exciting to show her clouds. She never got to hear what mortals thought. Only Delphia and she just called them pretty. Though she hadn’t asked the little cloud to come with her since she came back.
A scream made her pause. She looked down and Alais was covering their head. Sola settled back on her knees. It wasn’t comfortable, but if it made them feel better she didn’t mind. It did seem like they might not get to see well.
“I can sit like this, but can you see alright from there?” she asked. Alais looked up almost in awe before nodding. “Ok, just let me know if you can’t see or have something you want me to draw!”
Sola focused on the sky. Sensed the clouds that would be needed until her next visit. She raised her arm farthest from Alais up to the sky. Then she started to draw. It wasn’t as easy in the mortal realm. The clouds weren’t as firm. Lost the image and spread as she drew. Still she started with things that made her smile.
The gods’ realm first. The sky she knew, the garden, library, and all the doors. An endless place built for her size and one she cherished. A pause before she moved to the forest they were in. Smaller than the gods’ trees, but large to a mortal. Their very meeting painted the sky.
“Can you draw a rabbit?” Alais asked. Sola grinned and nodded.
She let the clouds pause before starting on the rabbit. It wound up as a few all huddled together. Near a burrow where another was half stuck inside. She smiled again as a tiny laugh sounded beside her. This was how she wanted it to always be when she made the clouds.
Sola continued long after she’d made enough. The extra ones were lighter and would dissipate within a day. Alais asked for more images as time went on. The two wound up laughing together at wild ideas they’d formed. Cats with strawberry eyes. Rabbits with carrots for ears. Dogs with bread paws. All of them still somehow looked cute.
Soon the laughter faded and Sola brought her arm down. Her own smile was plastered to her face. Alais had fallen down on their back during it. Days like this would be amazing. It would make Sola want to be in the mortal realm. Spend time like the others do.
“Alais,” she said. The mortal with tapered ears made a noise in response. “Would you want to do this again? I have to make the clouds pretty often. I… had fun like this.”
The mortal sat up quickly. Sola feared she’d done something wrong. Took a step too far. That this one would run like the little cloud. All because she didn’t understand. Because she was a god and didn’t belong to the small lives around her.
“On one condition,” Alais said. Sola leaned forward, desperate to agree. The mortal grabbed a finger near them. “That we do this as friends!”
“Friends…” Sola murmured.
“Yeah! Is… is that ok? Can gods have friends? They were all mean before I didn’t think if it’s allowed.”
“I think it’s allowed. No one ever told me it wasn’t.”
“Then I’ll only spend time with you while you make the clouds if we’re friends!”
“I’d… like that a lot.”
Sola reached down and grabbed Alais. Pulled them up to her chest and hugged them. Smaller than the little cloud, but still about half the size of her fingers. She held them right over her heart. The others said Delphia liked that. It took a few breaths before she realized what she did.
With probably too much speed she wrapped her fingers around her potential friend. The idea was likely abandoned due to her actions. She brought them in one hand to sit on the cliff they were near. Left her palm open towards the sky where Alais could climb off. Not on the ground where they’d been. At least she could help them a little.
“I’m sorry!” she said. She looked away, unable to meet them. “I forgot. I didn’t mean to grab you.”
One beat. Another. Then a third. Sola didn’t realize she was listening to her own heart until hands slapped her palm. When she looked at Alais they were smiling. Laughing even. It took a lot for her to focus on the mortal. For her to finally hear them.
“Sola that was amazing! Can we do that again?” they laughed. “I never moved so fast before!”
“You… aren’t scared?” she asked. They stopped laughing and tilted their head.
“Why would I be scared? We’re friends. Plus you said sorry. And you have to hold me to help me home right?”
“Right… I… Thank you, Alais. I never-”
An arrow flew near Sola’s eyes and made her stop. She curled her fingers up and used her other hand to block the mortal from danger. A quick look around showed a crowd of mortals coming towards her. Most with weapons at the ready. All with ears like Alais.
“Let them go Sunburst!” the one at the front said. Sola wasn’t sure what to do. Alais was shaking. She couldn’t let her friend be hurt, but she couldn’t take them away. It would be so much worse. “Return my sibling to me! I won’t ask again, Sunburst!”
“I wasn’t-”
Another arrow shot towards her. Sola squeezed her eyes shut. There were a bunch of shouts, but the arrow never hit her. When she opened them the arrow had been caught by a dark blue cloak. The cloak hung from a tree that appeared from nowhere. Next to it was Delphia, the scars of her past uncovered.
“What are you doing?!” the one who’d shot the arrow shouted. Sola could tell it wasn’t for her, but the little cloud. “That god has my family! I won’t let it hurt them!”
“I won’t let you hurt my family!” Delphia yelled. Her voice was different, layered like there was another one speaking. “Did you even give her time to do as you demanded? Ask her what was happening before assuming the worst?”
“Why would I give a god time to take my family?”
“Because the entire world knows they’ve changed. That they haven’t been the same for centuries. You elves are the ones not giving them a chance. Leave now!”
“Little cloud,” Sola said. With Delphia there she felt comfortable pulling her hand away. Alais was shaking, but sat up and looked at the crowd.
“That’s my sister,” they whispered.
Delphia whipped around. For once Sola feared what the little cloud may do. She marched right up to her hand and climbed on. Sola didn’t know how to act. If she should move her hand or wait. At the same time she didn’t want Alais in trouble for being near her.
“Hi,” Delphia said. Sola curled her fingers in. The little cloud reached up to one and tapped it. “I’m Delphia, are you ok?”
“I-I’m Alais… Are you Sola’s friend too?” they asked. Sola tensed.
“I’d like to say we’re sisters actually, why don’t you go to the others. I’ll stay with Sola.”
Alais looked up at Sola. She tried to grin, but her first and probably only friend stayed sad. They climbed off her hand slowly. Walked away constantly looking back. It hurt. Sola hurt.
She watched her almost friend start running. Right up to the very mortal that had shot an arrow at her. In her hand, Delphia started to rub her palm. It was a comfort that she didn’t think was intended. Still it took a lot of control not to disappear before Alais had fully returned to the crowd.
She closed her eyes and stood. As she returned to the gods’ realm she’d thank the little cloud for her help. Then go back to her quiet days of drawing. The days where mortals were afraid would continue. It made her want to cry. She couldn’t. Not with Alais watching. Not with Delphia in her hand. Not with mortals who hated her-
“Sunburst!” the very mortal that shot at her spoke. Sola tensed, but stayed still. “I… apologize for shooting at you. Thank you for helping Alais…”
Sola widened her eyes. She nodded, completely lost for words. Alais stepped in front of the group. A hopeful look on their tiny face.
“Come get me for the clouds again ok? We’re friends and you said we could do it again!”
“Right, I will,” she said. Alais smiled again. Sola couldn’t bring herself to stay. In a puff of clouds she’d disappeared. Arriving at one of the houses Felix had made for the little cloud all over the realm. She bent over and set her hands on the ground.
“Sola,” Delpia said. She tried not to let what was in her mind show. That she was scared and hurt by the mortals’ actions. That she thought the little cloud made a mistake. That she’d made and lost her only friend. “Sola, it’s ok to cry. That wasn’t easy. I came as soon as my vision ended. I’d hoped I’d arrive before the others so I could talk to you.”
It made sense. Delphia would arrive and make sure she didn’t hurt mortals. That’s what the other gods used to do. That’s what everyone thought. As much as she hated it she couldn’t stop the tears from falling. None of what she wanted to say was coming to her mind. Just one thing, “I’m sorry you had to say we were family.”
“Sola, I… if I overstepped please tell me, as odd as it may sound I do consider you family. Like a younger sister. I’d hoped you saw that for us as well.”
“But you left because I grabbed you all the time.”
Sola…”
Delphia stayed in her hand. Grabbed at the fingers she could and pulled them close. Wrapped small arms around them. She was nearly the height of Sola’s fingers. Still so small. Still someone Sola hurt without meaning to. She couldn’t keep doing that. She had to be better.
“Sola, look at me,” Delphia said. She hadn’t realized she closed her eyes. Reluctantly, she opened them. Delphia wore a soft, warm look. One of kindness and care. “I never left because of you. I didn’t leave because of anyone. I left because I wasn’t able to trust you all. I knew what you thought and I still doubted you. I’m sorry.”
“But-”
“No, there’s nothing that you did. You grabbed me, but I never tried to stop you. That was all you did. If I told you I wasn’t willing to do something you never forced me. I just couldn’t see anything besides the old stories. I’m so sorry I hurt you.”
“Little cloud, you don’t have to-”
“Yes I do Sola. I hurt all of you. I was selfish. I know now to trust you all, speak if I am scared. We all have to learn. You’ve only just become gods and I’m only learning to be around you. I didn’t give any of you a chance to show me who you are before. I’d like to be family, Sola.”
“Can I really be your sister? Am I good enough?”
Delphia climbed to her feet and spread her arms wide. Sola pulled her hand up to her face right away. The hug from the little cloud spoke volumes. They were family, they were sisters. Just like Luna was her brother. She’d do what she could to be better, to earn it.
“No one could be better Sola,” Delphia whispered. Sola started to cry again. Her sister reached up and pet near her hair. “You know, I’ve missed the times you let me watch you draw clouds. Want to go home and do that?”
Sola nodded and waved her hand for her door. She paused for just a second to ask, “Can you come with me when I go to draw the clouds with Alais again? I’m scared they’ll try to hurt me.”
“I’ll go with you any time you ask, I promise.”

Old character of mine. Goes by Omen, actual name is the marking on his forehead. His kind communicates with telepathic, hallucinogenic mist. And yes, he's missing his eyes. Functionally, it's the equivalent of severe hearing loss to humans. He can still communicate, but very poorly.

He doesn’t know which is worse. Being faced with the person he betrayed— or the one who betrayed him. Gabriel feels sickened, listening to the way the two of them speak, how easily he wants to be lulled into a false sense of security, into some faux fantasy where nothing ever went wrong. “Would you just shut the fuck up for once?” His voice halts Augustus’ suggestion, blue eyes seeking the others. Not that Gabriel has even been listening to whatever Augustus has proposing, but the familiarity is jarring, and making him feel worse. Dredging up memories that he had put in so much dedication to repressing and burying. Phia’s nose crinkles at Gabriel’s outburst, eyebrows furrowing together, “You don’t have to be a dickhead just because you think it’s a bad idea. And if you’re so against it— how about you suggest something?” Ah fuck.

Irkalhiwa (Thatrollodelphis cortezi) – Floating Hound
Tumblr media
The underdog of the Thatrollwa world.
“ The second alien life in Thatrollwa was as mysterious as a freak; this is the hound of Delphinus. ”
– Irina Mirasol
The Irkalhiwa, or Cortez's Space Dolphin (Thatrollodelphinus cortezi), is a fictional extraterrestrial introduced in Rescris.
Irkalhiwa and Khaliatorra are closest relatives and similar to Earth's dolphins, and the alien life from Berbania and Reinachos, but their blood and genes are unrelated as a result of convergent evolution.
Irkalhiwa is considered critically endangered because of Valak, the evil deity from Muspelheim.
Etymology
The scientific name for this species is "Hernan Cortes' Delphian dolphin," which is found in the Cortesia Kingdom and is named after the conquistador Hernan Cortes. Irkalhiwa is of Togruta origin, which is possibly an onomatopoeia word.
Physiology
Irkalhiwa is a small, social dolphin-like extraterrestrial without dorsal fins, but rather replaced by shiny grayish armored osteoderms, peach-colored bioluminescent markings, large fore flippers, and adjacency-moving fins on the waist to tail. Their skin color for this species was dull pinkish gray and ash gray underneath.
The size of this species was 1.20 meters tall in height, 1.4 meters in length, and 89–100 kilograms.
Abilities
Delphian/Thatrollwan Stormtroopers utilized Irkalhiwa as a pet because of this skill since they have mastered the use of echolocation, also referred to as sonar, which improves their surface vision.
The privacy of the Delphian and Thatrollwan royal families across the globe during Stormtroopers and Togrutas exile has made the Stormtroopers from Star Wars more obedient and honorable than their counterparts in their respective universes. The Stormtroopers have remained mostly independent from their universe since the 1700s from the Galactic Empire and Jedi Academy.
During the space colonization by the United Nations, this species became nerfed and decreased their echolocation, which is used for lost objects or things instead of people. In near-death experience mode, which is shared with Terran Aesirs and Delphians, the Irkalhiwa was most dangerous lifeform in Delphian and rest of Earth Responsibly and Rapunzel's Tangled to use Mou Kei, or in Delphian, Akk-Mpotă (Cyrilic: Акк-мпотӑ; Delphian and Delphian Creole: Dismembered or Act fuck, loanword from Romanian: Act-Curvă and Spanish: Acto-de-puta; "act-damn"), a devastating finishing move using their teeth and blade-tongue during combat involving the cutting off of all low-tier structure supports, limbs, organs, and even head at once.
Behavior
Because of the force Star Wars brought to our universe, the Irkalhiwa, both wild and tamed, were more aggressive than dolphins on our planet. You should stay away from the dark side of the Irkalhiwa. They fight it out to seize the female dolphins, rape unwilling partners, and occasionally even kill humans or Delphians.
Distribution and Habitat
Prior to being endangered during and after the space colonization, this species lived worldwide on floating islands on the Delphia planet.
Lore
Ahsoka Tano and her friends found that some stormtroopers are actually different from what we see in different universes. One of the Irkalhiwa is curious toward her, and she was always played by one of these, and the force was affected, which is that the Irkalhiwa are turned into Ahsoka's side.
Irkalhiwa and other native alien life are immune to the mind control of the Apple of Eden or the Orb of John the Apostle. Due to their otherworldly nature and lack of natural Aurorium brain neurotransmitter, which is natural evolution on Hirawhassa or Berbania, Ityosel or Reinachos, Lucretia, and Delphia planets, they are impossible to control.

Caught Her Eye
Day 3 of gt july plush. Filled my mind with plushies. I have another idea i sorta wrote but didn't like rereading it so here's todays!
Alessia saw something as she passed by a store that she couldn't ignore.
Caught Her Eye
Alessia had never had a huge interest in plush toys. They were cute, sometimes cool. She just didn’t have a reason to want them. It was what made the fact she even walked into a store that only sold plush toys an oddity. There was just something that caught her eye today. Something that didn’t look like it belonged.
“Miss, can I help you?” an employee called. Alessia offered a smile before shaking her head.
All she had to do was go to the display and pick up the toy that stood out. She’d realize she was crazy and walk away. Of course the problem was figuring out which one it was among the identical toys. There were the usual suspects. Cats, dogs, wolves, any common animal. Alessia kept her eyes locked on the rows of cartoon bunnies and rainbow chameleons.
She had to admit they were kind of cute. It almost made it seem worth it to buy one if she did just imagine something.
“Miss, that line’s been very popular,” the employee made Alessia jump. She hadn’t noticed them come close. Just as she started to look at them, something moved. The very something she’d been waiting for. “If you’re worried they’ve been handled too much we have some in the back too.”
“How much is a bunny?” Alessia asked. There it was, but not the bunny she expected. “And a chameleon?”
“The two together? It will be about a hundred. If you want one off the shelf feel free to grab it, otherwise I’ll go get them from the back.”
“I’ll pick one out soon.”
The employee gave her a look, but walked off. Alessia rolled her eyes, of course that was the problem. This store had a history of theft obviously. It probably didn’t help that she’d been glaring at the toys the whole time. One step closer, she saw it again. The bunny first. The one that first caught her eye. As soon as she lifted it she saw the change on the chameleon again. She grabbed that one too.
A quick squeeze to each. They felt the same as any other plush toy she’d seen before. At least these two were weirdly cute. If it was her imagination maybe she’d keep them on her couch or bed. They were soft. A lot softer than her pillows.
“Have you decided, miss?” another call, another check that she wasn’t going to run off with the two. She walked to the register and placed them both down. A simple nod. The transaction went by quickly. Both plush toys were set in a bag as she left.
Alessia’s trip home was a blur. The next thing she knew she was sitting on her couch at home, staring at her purchase. At the store she was confident, but now it felt stupid. It wasn’t possible. A trick her mind played on her because of her usual disinterest. There wasn’t something moving inside them.
“Ugh,” Alessia fell to her side on the couch. This all felt like something she imagined. Probably because she was tired. A nap on the couch and then she’d put the toys somewhere. Maybe pick someone who would like them more to give them too…
“Del, are you there?” A quiet voice pulled Alessia from sleep. It didn’t seem right. Alessia tried to ignore it. Clearly her tired mind was pushing the things she saw earlier into her mind again. Maybe she was still dreaming. “Please tell me you’re there.”
The fact it continued took the dream theory away. She tried to be quiet as she opened her eyes. It took a bit for her eyes to adjust. The plushies were obvious. The thing that stood out first was the bit of stuffing in front of the chameleon. There wasn’t a rip when she picked it up.
“Ash!” Another quiet voice. A shadow moved in front of the bunny toy. Maybe a few inches tall. Too big for a bug, that’s for sure. As silently as she could, Alessia started to sit up. “Ash, I was so scared. I thought you might have been left behind!”
As she moved the bunny had movement inside it. The different colored fabric on its stomach opened and another tiny figure dropped out. The two next to each other made it obvious the new one was shorter.
“We need to find a way down. Before she wakes up.”
Alessia was up enough to reach the light. Quietly she leaned over. Click! The light came on, for just a moment she was blinded. Two soft screams of terror reached her as her eyes adjusted. The two figures backed into the bunny, nearly back inside it. It wasn’t going to hide them well. She leaned down, curious about just what was in the toys she bought.
“S-stay back!” the shorter one screamed. Long black hair and almost sickly pale skin. The taller one stepped forward with a glare. Dark brown skin and almost shaved light brown hair. Most importantly… They looked just like tiny people.
Alessia reached a hand towards them. The two immediately scrambled backwards. The taller one turned and lifted the woman into the bunny. It didn’t do much to hide her. She kept reaching forward until her fingers were close to the taller one. They kept a glare on her the entire time.
“What are you?” she whispered. A shiver ran down her spine as her fingers wrapped around the tiny frame. They were more solid than she expected. It only increased her curiosity about them. She tightened her hold as she started to pull them away.
“Stop!” the woman screamed. Alessia jumped at the voice. “Please, please don’t hurt them!”
“I wasn’t…”
The one in her hand started squirming. The glare shifted to fear. Alessia hadn’t really considered their point of view yet. She was just curious, especially about what she’d found. She kept her movements slow as she lowered the little person again. As she pulled her fingers away they burned. Almost desperate to feel the light weight again.
“I’m sorry,” she whispered. Alessia slid forward off the couch. Careful not to jostle the table too much. “I… you’re really real. Like actually really real. I thought I was crazy.”
The woman climbed out again. She ran right up to the other. Alessia crossed her arms and rested her head on them for a pillow. The taller one pushed the woman behind them. Like this she could get a better look at the two. Make out their eyes. A piercing green on the woman. Grassy green and watery blue on the other person.
She slid a little closer. An attempt to make out their faces. Fear was an obvious thing to find. What she wasn’t expecting was how attractive she found them both. The taller one felt sturdy, but now she could see it was from muscle. The woman bled elegance and beauty despite her fear.
“Wow,” she breathed. The two didn’t move. The fear didn’t even start to wane. She chewed her lip… “I uh… I’m Alessia.”
“What are you going to do with us?” the taller one asked.
She furrowed her brows. What was she going to do with them? Tiny people were living in plush toys she bought because she saw them moving. She couldn’t take them back to the store. Maybe she could get them home, if they had a home.
“Just let us go, please,” the woman begged. “We can fix the plushies before we leave!”
“Where will you go?” Alessia said. That caused a change. Two small forms broke immediately. Confidence, fear, everything was gone. They were lost. The only answer she got was a shrug from the taller one. “Do… you want to stay here?”
The fear was back immediately. Alessia had always been overzealous. Ruined more than one relationship by her excitement to know new people or learn new things. It had never been easy to recover from. This would be the hardest one yet.
“I-I just mean, you wouldn’t take up a lot of space. It looks like you came with your bed or room or whatever. It would be pretty easy to keep an eye out on the ground for you. So why don’t you… just… stay… ” She trailed off.
The wide eyed stares kept her from even trying to recover anymore. One day she’d learn to think more about what she said. That obviously wasn’t today. She didn’t even know how the two would get around. Those thoughts died as the two started to laugh.
“I’m Delphia,” the woman said as she stepped forward. She gestured to the other person, “This is Ash.”
“Ash, Delphia,” Alessia nodded. Those names would be permanently burned into her mind. Just like those tiny faces filled with fear. She didn’t want to be why that happened again. Honestly the laughter, the smile, only made her find them both adorable.
“What do you mean by us staying here?” Ash asked. A tiny thunderstorm of a voice. Alessia already had a crush on these two. They could fit in her hand, she was insane. She’d wake up the next day, find the two plushies, and question her insane dreams.
“I guess… tiny roommates? Not sure what else you could be. Friends would work too.”
“As long as you don’t grab me again.”
Alessia opened her mouth to argue, but the smirk on Ash’s face stopped her. Delphia had a smile on her face. At the very least they were giving her a chance. She could work with that.
