Votes are in, and it was decided we'd be using my designs for The Mage's Lantern for the DTIYS! I went for a DTIYS to celebrate 300 followers, mostly because I never got to do something for 200 like I said I would. ^^ Please check through the few rules before participating!

• The "flats only" version above has their base colorscheme. It can be tweaked slightly in order to match your style - I have no problem with changing the colors to be more cohesive or changing the time of day!

• If any part of the composition proves a bit difficult, feel free to adjust it just a little. I know I ended up struggling with Link's head, so feel free to change it or their expressions if you'd like. The same goes for the tilt of the composition!

• Zelda and Link are both 14, if you need a general reference as to how they should look!

(TCS) I saw this really cute dress at a local department store and drew my girl Zelda Gaia in it. It looked like she was on a date so I changed her initially serene expression to that of a bashful one.

I don't think she'd wear this in canon simply because it's too modern of a style haha, but!! She rocks these types of looks so well, Idk what it is about her simplicity that works for her :')

small reminder that I don't do Linked Universe type of AUs. Don't follow me if you're expecting that kinda content, I'm sorry.

I don't hate it, by all means its not because I don't like it. It's just that I kinda make "Link/Zelda OCs" rather than AUs of canon characters if that makes sense.

I've just noticed a small influx of followers who often label "Linked Universe" in their tag interests and I hate to say it but that's not what I'm doing here.

LU - AUs/redesigns of canon characters[from what I gather]

Zelda AUs (what I do) - New stories in imagined places of the timeline or disconnected from the main series as a whole, with different/new ideas of the iterations of characters.

I'm gonna admit, my ideas aren't the most groundbreaking or unique, but please just. You're gonna be disappointed if you expect LU content.

I hadn't drawn Axel in a hot minute so I did. He based his fighting style off his mentor's, a Gerudo woman. He just adds his own flair.

Fun fact, his name is actually misconstrued because he kept saying Ángel wrong as a toddler. It just stuck.

It's been a hot minute since I've drawn anything. I threw this down so fast bc I was working all day. But hey its done on time in my area at least.

I've stopped promising to get to this point, I just can't write fast enough. ^^;
