What is OCkiss? It’s a week long event in which artists, writers and other creators produce content about OCs kissing.

Who can participate in OCkiss? Do you have an OC? Do you want to participate in OCkiss? Congrats, you’re in! Create something and upload it during the event with the tag #ockiss25

My OC doesn’t have a significant other, can I still participate? Of course! OCkiss is not restricted to romantic kisses - they can be friendly, they can be familiar, they can just be kissing their pet!

Can I use other people’s OCs? If they have stated that their OCs are up for grabs for this event, of course! If you’re not sure, please, please always ask the OC’s owner first.

I’m a bit lost and don’t know what to create! You can ask other people for prompts, make your own, or follow the official #ockiss25 prompt list down below!

Can I participate with OCxCanon!character content? No.

I'll base the pricing for the background on complexity. For reference, I would consider the Alicia drawing (the bird looking out on the ocean) an $8 background, while I’d charge $20 for the background on the Burk (dog anthro) piece.

Event Information

Create for your original legend: a TLoZ AU story that follows an original incarnation of Link, Zelda, Ganon, or another character (OCs included)!

[ These can reference previous games, but this does not include AUs of pre-existing games. (The Expanding Hyrule archive currently has very similar rules - check it out if you are seeking further specification). ]

This event is meant only for fun. You could do all the prompts, half the prompts, or only one of them! If you have more than one original legend, you could even rotate between them. There is no expectation for something big; this is just here to throw out inspiration. Think vignettes and sketches! (Of course, no one can stop you from doing full art)!

Posts go up on the corresponding days or the days after, but not sooner (unless you're doing a combination of one day and a later day). WIPs can be posted in the Untold Myths Discord Server or in a small thread of the Expanding Hyrule Discord server.

Be sure to tag this blog in your post, whether it's art, writing, or something else! That way I can find it to reblog. ^^ I will be compiling writing entries on Ao3 as well!

The inclusion of ships is fine, so long as there's nothing that could be considered problematic. (Problematic here referring to the obvious: don't ship siblings. I won't be accepting entries with ships between an adult and a child, either).

NSFW content will not be put in the archive or reblogged, but if you create some PLEASE tag it accordingly anyway! NSFW mostly refers to graphic content and extreme gore. Be sure to tag for content warnings! Reblogged content will mostly be anything that would be rated G to PG-13 in a movie theatre.

Milder depictions of violence are fine! Anything canontypical is fine.
