sometimes i fantasize about redoing my life with the maturity and knowledge i have now. like lately ive been thinking about how when i was in 1st grade and the school had a christmas event, there was a card making activity. and the kids were assigned a teacher to help w cutting paper and tape and stuff. and i distinctly remember wanting to put a bow in the middle of the card, within the crease, and the teacher kept reiterating that the bow would be like folded or whatever if i put it there, and i wish so badly i could go back in time to tell him to shut the fuck up and let me put the bow in the crease of the card because it's MY fucking card AND YOU DONT GET TO STIFLE MY CREATIVITY

“You put your entire right to the throne on the back of one man,” you say softly. “Simon is why…he’s why your counsel listen to you. He’s why your people are free from famine, why…why your taxes get paid on time, why your kingdom is still standing, no thanks to your father who wasted this place’s fortune on women and liquor.” You shake your head. “You have an eye for conquest, Your Majesty, but you lack the execution of any plan you conjure.”
