How would Dekugaters react to Izuku becoming a teacher at UA?

Poorly. If they were still around by that point, they’d assume his job was to “indoctrinate” the kids on how they need to have fake relationships and children “like him” in order for their numbers to go up. It’s totally a sign of how the next generation of heroes and society are going down the drain and will never be as good as the past. And of course they’d stalk and harass his students for info.

instructor Infinite: You know, I know that you said that the news of All Might taking in an apprentice would have varying responses, not all of them positive, but I can't help but think of the unhinged fans that would inevitably pop up.

Like, Izuku is casually walking down a shopping mall and he spots a dual figurine of him and All Might in back to back poses, clearly homemade and incredibly pricy. He's flattered and embarrassed, but it makes sense.

The next step is fanfiction, and well, he can't say anything because he has written some pieces himself, some good some bad. It's normal to get some more spicy works, it's not like it can get worse, right?

Unfortunately, fanart starts flooding in the forums that he frequences and he's forced to abandon them after some less than tasteful pieces of him in All Might's arms start circulating.

And don't get him started on the fanclubs. He's pretty sure that he's traumatized by women asking for his babies despite them never even having seen his face.

Fandom are scary.

I was actually picturing something more like realism-induced horror fanfiction Dekugate.

There is a reason he's keeping his identity secret.

That ask about Tsumugi writing RPF (Real People Fiction) reminds me of a MHA fanfic called Dekugate.

Basically, Izuku is the bio son of All Might and Inko, who in this universe is a small time rescue hero, and during the aftermath of the 2nd movie he discovers a toxic fan base who ships his dad with David Shields from the first movie. They basically believe that the two are actually in love but the Hero Commission has set Inko with All Might because straight sells apparently, never mind that All Might is openly bi and so is David. And they’re so obsessed with their ship that they despise Inko, Izuku and anyone who doesn’t think they’re the scum of the earth. Harassment, stalking, death threats, the works. It’s all about how these sorts of conspiracies rot your brain and how people can twist anything to justify their beliefs. Tsumugi’s absolutely one of those types of “fans” and I just wanted to get this off my chest

I'm rewatching/rereading some scenes from bnha again, and I've forgotten how unpleasant and spiteful nighteye was to izuku. In dekugate, with izuku being toshi's bio kid, was nighteye less cruel with his disapproval about izuku? Did he keep that disagreement between himself and toshinori, or was he honest and voiced his opinion with izuku?

It was actually worse in some ways. During the period where Nighteye was All Might’s sidekick, he kept things professional so he didn’t really know Izuku beyond being his boss’s kid who’s around the office sometimes. He was friendly enough but professional. But when All Might later expressed that he wanted to give One for All to Izuku, Nighteye dismissed his choice not only because a quirkless person wouldn’t be qualified, but he assumed it was pure nepotism and bias on All Might’s part. He thought Toshinori was blinded by love for his son and was incapable of seeing even his “obvious” flaws. As a result, he was even more upfront and detailed with what he thought was wrong with Izuku, and when Toshinori wouldn’t listen, he was upfront to Izuku.
