Okay, so I have not read or watched My Hero Academia yet but I am on that side of TikTok and made my way to tumblr to see stuff about it. And I gotta say, with all of the stuff I have read on here and the manga pages that have been shared... Bakudeku is the Rarry of the mha fandom.

For those of you who do not know Rarry is the platonic or romantic pairing of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Canonically it’s of course only platonic, but even then it’s basically confirmed that Ron is the most important figure in Harry’s life. They are best friends who are miserable without each other, have a lot of traits that make up for the others weaknesses, and and care more deeply for each other than most others would understand. Bakudeku are also best friends (childhood at least, but seem to want to be back at that point in the future, make up for what the other lacks in Allmight’s save to win win to save speech, and all in all seem to be more themselves when they’re together.

Background on characters:

Ron and Bakugo- hot-headed individuals who are believed to be stupid due to their more aggressive outbursts, while also not actually being as aggressive as fans or other characters believe them to be. Actually very strategic, would sacrifice themselves for Harry/Midoriya, caring but dense when it comes to certain feelings. Always afraid that they’re not good enough for the people around them which is made worse by all the attention given to Harry/Midoriya, has saved them at least once and shown themselves to be ready to do so on other occasions all of which is looked over by fans.

Harry and Midoriya- grew up differently than the other characters (Harry in muggle world, Midoriya as quirkless) before a new semi father figure finds him and changes his life. Very self sacrificing even when their friends don’t want them to be, considered pretty dense but very powerful. Wants to be with Ron/Bakugo all the time because they were their first real friendship and the one most important both to them and their growth as people. For some reason shipped with everyone including villains and teachers?

Reasons why Rarry and bakudeku are the same:

1. One character (Ron/Bakugo) is either loved or hated by the fans, there’s no moderate opinion of them. They are judged on their friendship with Harry/Midoriya by their absolute worst moments/actions during the worst periods of these relationships with most anti’s not acknowledging the growth which happened after it or the fact that both characters have moved past it.

2. Ron/Bakugo have an inferiority complex and jealousy issues (due to outside influences) that affected their relationship (i.e. worst moments), while simultaneously not realizing that Harry/Midoriya think that they’re the most amazing people in the world and would legitimately kill anyone who said differently.

There could be more, but like I said I’m just a beginner in the fandom.

When bkdk are dating everyone would get annoyed with them so fast because they’re insufferable . Bakugo smothering Deku constantly holding him and kiss attacking him from cute aggression and Deku can’t stop giggling .

Meanwhile , Bakugo could be obnoxiously screaming his head off and making the ugliest goddamn faces ever but Deku would still just be like “yes 😩❤️🙏🏼 that’s my strong sexy brave handsome man 🙌🏼 🥰” and Bakugo just eats it up like “DAMN RIGHT I AM 😈💪🏼😤💥”

Izuku was INCAPABLE of pulling out blackwhip on Bakugou. It never happened. He was never able to try to lightly hurt him - or even try to catch him - with a power that is controlled by his violent and angry emotions??

Ok so that proves Izuku doesn’t hate him already knew that whatever right?-

But - think about the fact that Deku doesn’t hate Monoma either. He finds him irritating but doesn’t hate the guy in any way. It’s just not how Deku is.

BUT HE WAS SOMEHOW ABLE TO CALL IT OUT WHEN MONOMA ISN’T EVEN SAYING SOMETHING THAT CRAZY????!????

OKAY DEKU I SEE YOU PROTECTING YOUR CHILDHOOD RIVAL BUT STILL

Monoma saying something insulting about Bakugou - while he’s not even there in the first place - is insane to me. How the fuck did Monoma KNOW that his best strategy was to insult Katsuki of all people?? Why not anybody that Monoma knows for a fact are friends with him like Ida or Ochako? OR MAYBE DIRECTLY INSULT IZUKU HIMSELF???

Why did he know that of all things that was going to get Deku to go insane?? The training camp maybe?

I don’t know and it’s driving me insane. Not even Deku’s closest friends know that they are kind of friends right now. So Monoma has to assume from the way that Kacchan acts that they AREN’T EVEN FRIENDS????

Do you ever set there and think like... I know Bakugou bully Deku all the time...but what if when izuku get bullied by any other person he just talks back so good and that makes bakugou deeply proud of his boy
