I love love LOVE all those pre Deku vs A-1 fics were Katsuki strugle with apologies, were he didnt know what to said to Deku or he stutter out of pride, like yea, that check out, that would be a pretty accurate Bakugo Katsuki thing to do, Just for the anime to jump out the wall to the fucking sky and deliver a heart gunch punching honest apology under the Rain because the real Bakugo never half asset nothing. Amazing, wonderful.

When Katsuki Bakugo needed saving, Izuku came up with a plan where Todoroki, Iida, and Kirishima went rocketing across the sky to reach him.

When Izuku Midoriya needed saving, it was Katsuki, Todoroki, and Iida who went rocketing across the sky to reach him.

Both times, our Twin Stars decided to set their own needs aside and allow the other’s trusted friend to take the lead in bringing them home. Izuku knew Kirishima was the right choice to get Katsuki away from the league quickly and safely, and Katsuki knew Iida was the better man for the job of catching up to Izuku and bringing him back.

Can we please just take a moment to appreciate the parallels. Please.

Class 1-A is always here to cheer their comrade!

I KNEW IT! I knew it was impossible to Bakugou to not helping Deku just once again during this finale! If we saw Uraraka, even if she wasn't able to help Deku but can encouraging him, we need to see Bakugou! And it is the case!

Kurogiri called Aizawa and Yamada by their name. Shirakumo remembers them but he tells them that he has to be by Shigaraki' side. He really devoted himself for Shigaraki.

This help is important but it breaks his friends' heart...

AFO vs OFA!

One last punch! I KNEW IT TOO! Deku and Tenko will be both to end up AFO! Happy to see for the last time, OFA predecessors helping again.

Shigaraki is decayed... he asks Deku to tell to Spinner that he fight until the end. I am gonna cry! Shigaraki disappears!... Does that mean that Tenko will never come back?...

Everything finally end! AFO disappears in ashes. Deku flies in the blue shiny sky! Who will catch him when he is falling?

Bakugou did a lot of amazing jobs to help Deku until the very end, so...

What doesn't make sense to me is why Deku didn't become an honorary member of Class 1B that night.

1A was down five people, making them a class of fifteen with no way for everyone to have a partner.

But 1B was down Monoma, making them a class of nineteen and therefore in a similar situation.

Missed opportunity for Kendo and company to just adopt Deku for an evening. Plus, Monoma would have been apoplectic at the idea he'd been replaced by someone from 'stuck up Class 1A.'

It doesn't really matter because the League of Party Poopers showed up and ruined things for everyone, but still.

and i really want to stress that teamwork has been a pretty central theme to this series since chapter 8 at the latest, and chapter 4 if you want to push it. like sorry you read the series with your eyes closed i guess

I'm on my MHA rewatch and just completed the episode when Uraraka when toe-to-toe with Bakugo at the sports festival.

Ooooof. I'm at a loss for words at how she gave it her all. The strategy she decided to go with was clever, but she came up short. It was a valiant effort and a heck of a fight.

But man, it certainly hit in the feels when she whispered, "Daddy..." as she fell unconscious. Then who could forget the call with her dad. He uplifted her in the moment of a terrible defeat. He promised she will be a kind and caring hero one day as she cries away the pain.

I should also say it was tough to see her hide the pain of the loss in front of Deku. Once she gets alone and calls her dad, she lets it all out. Deku even knew she was hiding it while exiting the room to go face Shoto. No one goes through a defeat like that without feeling emotional repercussions, especially a character as tied to her emotions as Ochako.

Finally, as Deku was going to that next battle, he recalls Ochako being his constant source of encouragement. He just left her as she said, "I'll be watching. Good luck out there!" It brought him to tears as he thinks, "She's the one encouraging me... again." It just gives me another reason why I love their friendship. They know how the other works and how to lift the other up when they're down.

All in all, the episode was Peak Ochako and Peak MHA. The sports festival arc has been a pleasant revisit. I know it'll only get better when Deku and Shoto clash.

The specific scene in class 1A vs Deku in MHA where child Bakugo is apologizing to Izuku and it slowly ages them as he apologizes makes me wanna worte an introspective piece on their relationship. Not in a bakudeku shipper way, but in an analyzing way. I don't ship them (I don't hate their shippers or the ship itself, though) but their dynamic and the power/symbolism behind the scenes just makes me aiwnqknamqmwnqm
