This is the third post to help expand on the prompts for anyone who needs a little more to go on than just one word. We hope these ideas help inspire people, but they are only a jumping-off point and there will of course be plenty more interpretations we didn’t think of!

March 7th — Secret Relationship

This could be a relationship hidden from friends or family or a disapproving community. It might have a practical focus, like coordinating secret meetups without arousing suspicion, or an emotional focus, exploring the tension and thrill of love that must remain in the shadows. It can also be about the drama that arises if/when external people find out and assume it's cheating. What about the reasons to keep it secret: is it taboo, or do they not want to jinx it because it's so new? For a spicy twist, it could delve into the risk and allure of almost being discovered.

March 8th — Friends to lovers

This could be about two friends realizing their feelings for each other while navigating the dynamics of an existing polycule. Or it could explore the gradual deepening of a bond as they support each other through other relationships. It might be about discussing boundaries and ensuring clear communication with metamours, or focus on the joy and vulnerability of transitioning from friendship to love within a polyamorous context. Additionally, it could involve an intimate moment that shifts the balance and changes everything.

March 9th — Queerplatonic Relationships (QPRs)

Is your ship a QPR or do members also have QPR partner(s) as part of the polycule? What type of interactions and commitments do they make to each other? Perhaps a character gets a plush (queerplatonic crush) on someone. How did their QPR develop, were they friends first? How did the conversations about their relationship go? Maybe how they explain to their families the nature of their relationship, if they explain it at all.

This could be about a polycule whose connection feels fated yet impossible, caught between love and the obstacles of timing, loyalty, or conflicting dynamics. It can be about power struggles that disrupt the balance of the polycule. It might explore the tension of love that feels both destined and dangerous, with the question of “now or never” lingering in the air. You can use the lyrics as inspiration or you can toy around with the aesthetics in the video.
