listen im not saying achilles cant look however the fuck you want, he’s not really physically described at length. but why is Blonde White Blue/Green Eyed Achilles the most dominant depiction? surely this started before that god awful troy movie, is this an american thing?? when did this begin?? and more importantly why has nobody recently really deviated from this recipe besides troy: fall of a city (that i know of)

I was looking through some of my sculpture 2 work and forgot about the artists books we had to make. I thought I would show off some of the pages from the one I made for the project!

The book with the marble like cover was my first attempt at trying out Japanese stab binding. It’s not filled with anything right now, it’s just blank pages but I’m including it anyway. The second book is bound the same way but the cover is made from orange felt. The theme was Greek mythology, specifically around the art work I had been making for the past year, so the cover was meant to emulate black figure pottery I just haven’t finished embroidering the cover. The pages include a mix of things such as the terra sig recipe I used, the crystals I’ve collected and the deity I associate them with, information on the 12 Olympians I used in my Pandora’s box piece and the wall plaques I made, as well as the exhibitions I’ve been in, the vessels I made, and other more contemporary work I’ve made! There’s a lot more than just these pages but I’ve already hit the image cap lol.

The storyboards in the last two pictures were from a music video motion graphic project I did with a friend. She had given me permission to post her half of the storyboards with credit, so full credit to her! She just doesn’t have social media set up yet and I don’t want to put her full name out there so I censored it in the pictures.

Hmm, I need something to look forward to/plan for. I don't have any upcoming home improvement projects, trips, tattoos, piercings, or other events. I tried working on a five year plan but the only things I really want are 1) a fully remote job and 2) to find a life partner, both of which I guess I can work towards, but obviously can't control. And even if/when I achieve those goals... then what?

I love my house and don't want to move. I can't really afford to travel right now. So...?

"oooooooh, Jax let the door open, the candy kingdom will be destroyed" guys, please. The candy kingdom probably stopped existing as soon as the team stepped through the portal. It was a world literally made just for that adventure. We know that because the other characters, who are part of the circus for longer, reacted to it like it was their first time there, meaning it's never been visited, meaning Caine probably never created it until that day because there is literally no reason to keep a map you're not using and probably won't ever use again working in the background.
