The article by Jeremy Tremp provides an in-depth review of the Springfield Armory's new Echelon 4.5F Comp pistol, highlighting its innovative features and impressive performance. Chambered in 9mm, the Echelon 4.5F Comp is designed with a built-in compensator to reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil, making for faster follow-up shots. This pistol stands out due to its Variable Interface System, enabling direct mounting of a variety of red dot optics without adapter plates, and a modular Central Operating Group chassis for easy grip module swaps. Tested with multiple types of ammunition, the Echelon 4.5F Comp demonstrated reliability and enhanced shooting accuracy, making it a robust option for firearm enthusiasts. Jeremy Rigged his Echelon with a Surefire X300 Turbo weapon light and a Vortex Defender-ST red dot sight, suggesting this setup for optimal performance. Overall, the Echelon 4.5F Comp is praised for its advanced features and precise handling, marking it as a significant addition to Springfield Armory's lineup.

Okay but I do get really tired when people rag on Narnia's Biblical parallels for being too overt. Like, yeah dude. It's written for kids. Most kids don't do subtlety. I knew my Bible better than probably 95% of third graders, and yet my parents still had to clue me in. I've talked to people who grew up secular and didn't realize Narnia was Christian until well into adulthood. The Christian parallels in Narnia are at a pretty perfect level for most kids, and the fact that we as adults continue to get new spiritual meaning from it as we grow is a real testament to the depth of Jack's writing.

The night where it all began, part one.
Previous / Next
Caleb: Mother and Father wouldn’t approve of you going out alone at night.
Lilith: Which is precisely why Mother and Father need not find out.
Caleb: Surely you can miss one party.
Lilith: I can, but why should I? I’m not like you, Caleb. It takes more than a book to satisfy my pleasure. There’s still time for you to dress. [teasingly] Besides, you’ll never find a proper young lady to court if you refuse to leave the house.
Caleb: And you’ll never attract an upstanding suitor so long as you keep shamelessly flirting in public with married men.
Lilith: Oh, but it’s such fun!
[both laughing]
Lilith: [melodramatically] Poor Mother and Father, burdened with two prospectless children. I almost pity them. They’ll certainly die of shame if the family line ends with us. Of course, they haven’t lost all hope. I may be doomed to crusty old widowers, but they’re still trotting out pretty girls for you. You might just marry yet.
Caleb: [mumbles] Isn’t that a loathsome thought?
Lilith: At least they’d leave you be. There are only so many reasons a young man willingly resigns himself to perennial bachelorhood, and they’re beginning to grow suspicious.
Caleb: We both have our proclivities.
Lilith: Yes. But people talk, and their talk is far less likely to wound you if you’re the one directing its aim.
Caleb: Oh, is that what’s happening when they call you the femme fatale of the ball in the society pages?
Lilith: There are far worse things to be called. Count yourself lucky they’ve only latched onto your social ineptitude thus far, wilted wallflower.
-
Caleb: Be careful.
Lilith: Now, where’s the fun in that?
Caleb: Lil-
Lilith: I can take care of myself.

A poor, abused 11year old Severus Snape: Simply existing
Marauders stans: yep, this is definitely a racist, bigoted, homophobic, racist, obsessive stalker who definitely deserves to be bullied to the point of getting PTSD! Another win for the marauders fandom!!!

I always feel so out of place even in system communities. Does anyone else relate at all??
Like, idk some system memes are cool and relatable bc obviously not everything is gonna line up, but so much of it doesn't click with us.
We've almost never been put off by the voices, we all wanna communicate, we don't think less of each other or think 1 deserves more front time than anyone else, etc. Idk, there's so many memes about denial and eating each other's food and all this distress. Which is i know, a major part of many system's lives. Part of what makes a meme is the repeatability and a lot of systemhood IS struggles in that area.
But what about systems who do everything right (in the sense that we have healthy coping and such)? What about systems who unconditionally love each other and dissociative barriers are something we work around instead of fighting? What about the systems who love the voices?

Whitney escaping the underground brothel and being hounded by PC's annoying little shadow, Robin, asking if the bully knows where PC went because PC would never disappear for this long.
Each time the orphan asks, all Whitney can think of is PC crying out for help, screaming at Whitney to not leave them behind, their voice echoing down the halls. Then Robin tries to grab Whitney's wrist to keep the bully from walking away and it devolves into a bloody beatdown in the hallway that Leighton can BARELY pry them apart.
