" . . . wanna make sure I get there in one piece ?? " she offered. aware of his wanting to call her aunt. heavily keeping that in mind. wanting to appear ever the good teenager. though , she had an absence that suspected she wanted to not be alone. especially walking to Chrissy 's house.

in momentarily lapsed judgement LUCY QUINNZEL tucked her drink between her thumbs before putting it down on a thick blackened table. all glitz and glam gone. at least he was honest.

Harley Thatcher was born to two loving, young parents - Cecelia and Ethan. They weren’t exactly very old when they became parents to her….only eighteen to be exact 

Cece let Ethan name their daughter and the first name that came to his head was Harley, her name coming from his love for bikes and being a member of the Hellhounds. Sure, it may have seemed a bit cliche, but he felt like it fit suited her

The pair wanted children but were they 100% ready to have a baby by themselves? Far from it. Her mother was cutting hair at the family salon and her dad? A pizza delivery boy and aspiring tattoo artist

Even though it was incredibly difficult, they made it work. Sure, they never have much extra money laying around so that resulted in the girl growing up in the local trailer park and wearing hand-me-downs and eating off brand food. She did not have the most lavish upbringing, but her childhood was filled with love and support from parents who adored her feisty self 

Speaking of feisty, Harley has always been one to push the envelope and not take shit from others. Sometimes that worked in her favor but other times? Not so much. 

She generally was always getting into trouble at school by her teachers and fellow peers, it would range from skipping class, back talking to authority figures, sneaking out/partying, running from the cops, and landing herself overnight in jail for the stupid things she did as a teen. 

Eventually, her actions would catch up to her at the age of seventeen. The young girl found herself getting into a nasty altercation at school with another student that turned bloody and almost deadly. Harley ended up beating up the girl so severely that she left the other person half deaf and in the hospital.

As a result, she was sent to prison (tried as an adult) for a total of three years a few hours away. It was a hard three years to get through, only being able to get visits from her parents and other family members once or twice a month due to the distance 

Her father ended up getting murdered when Harley was nineteen while out on a mission for the Hellhounds. She always knew that her dad had a dangerous job but when she heard the news, it broke her entire heart. He was her role model and best friend in the entire world and he was just...gone.

At twenty years old she was finally released from prison and made her return to her beloved town of Skull. 

Harley’s father’s death fueled her to do better and find more of a purpose with her life. She had always grown up around the Hellhounds members and basically considered them her second family. The brunette always pondered wanting to become a member, so she decided to pass on her father’s legacy and become a prospect. 

After a few years of prospecting, she moved up the ranks to become an arms dealer, just like Ethan 

When she was twenty four, she became pregnant with a guy she had been casually seeing for a few months. After breaking the news to him, he was so excited and overjoyed with the news that he proposed to her and at seven months pregnant with their daughter, she had a courthouse wedding. It was followed by a humble reception at the restaurant they had their first date at. 

Things were sweet for only so long though and when their daughter Dakota was around eight months, Harley would find out that her husband was cheating on her with another woman. That night, she bagged up all of his shit and threw it out of their trailer, telling him to go to hell and get lost. She hasn’t been in contact with him ever since. 

Right now, she is trying her best to be a single mother, member for the Hellhounds, and an assistant manager and artist at the family salon and tattoo parlor. 

FUN FACTS

Is a full blooded werewolf, both of her parents being them 

Always has had a strong love for drawing and while she was in prison, did some tattooing on the other inmates that were her friends

Has a large scar across her left cheek that she got from a homemade knife after a fight with another inmate 

Adores classic rock, having many fond memories of listening to it with her dad as a kid 

Is very much a tomboy and feels most confident with her leather jacket and her hair in a messy bun

She doesn’t know how many tattoos she has, them being all around her body. Harley has two full sleeves and her tattoos vary in size and style

Thatcher Salon was merged into Thatcher Salon and Ink after her parents saved up enough to build onto the building to add a room for tattooing. Harley filled in as one of the main artists / managers after her father’s passing.

quarantine tag game, tagged by @ribbonreverse thanks for tagging me!!

1. Are you staying home from work/school?:

Well see it’s kind of funny. Right before the stay at home orders came down on us I was planning a two month leave from work to finish up my schooling which is entirely online which is what I am doing currently so technically. I work drive through so work is still running but I’m not there.

2. Who is at home with you?:

My bed ridden chronically ill mother and my father. I room with my parents so I can afford school bills on a part-time salary. Plus my mom has been pretty sick for the last few years and can really be out of bed for more than a few hours at time. So in a way not much has changed for her in the quarantine with is both a good thing and incredibly sad. Having me here heps tough tbh my dad is pulling most of the weight lately, he does all out running around so mom and I can stay home. (I have the same illness as my mother just not as bad)

3. Are you a homebody?:

Yes incredibly so. Sometimes I take week vacations just to shut myself up in a room and not talk to anybody and be blissfully alone consuming massive amounts of media and making art. I need way more alone time than the average person I think. This quarantine has still been hard though. I REALLY REALLY miss the movie theater. When things are hard and I want to forget I go see a movie and obviously I can’t right now. I also really miss craft stores.

4. Any event you were looking forward to that got canceled?:

Not really as stated before I don’t really do much. Easter dinner getting canceled was honestly a relief for me my extended family is something of a double edge sword. However I DO hope that everything opens back up in time for the Medieval Faire around here. I go every year in full costume and I had some really fun idea’s for this year. 

5. What movies have you been watching recently? :

I finally got around to watching Promare which was really good, loved the art style, I watched endless and a dark song(very bad quarantine choices lol), I saw Emma and really enjoyed it,I re watched muppets most wanted, into the spiderverse, and hail Caesar, all of which I really love, I just watched the Willoughbys and really loved the stylized cg animation. My sister and I are getting together to watch the Ms. Fischer movie tomorrow and I am very much looking forward to that.

6. What are you doing for self care? Does eating count?: 

Cause I eat more regularly now that we are in quarantine than I did when I was working. I went from maybe one meal a day to 2-3. Also I am trying to make a pointed effort not to think too hard about the weight I’ve gained. When I almost never ate it didn’t matter that I ate crap foods but now that I am eating regularly it does. Plus I get out for walks less right now.

7. What shows are you watching?:

DC’s Harley Quinn (it is hilarious if you like dark humor which I do), Owl House, but not much else right now I am not a huge fan of the show media format. The way narratives tend to get structured for TV really irks me. I like miniseries better. Plus I’m not of a web comic kind of person. 

8. What music have you been listening to?: 

So much music you guys, all the music. but mostly I listen to my study playlist while I’m working. Stuff with enough of a beat to keep me motivated but not likely to pull me out of my work, it’s mostly Marian Hill (The lady who did Down) with some Billie Eilish and Halsey sprinkled in along some stuff by Avia and other random artists.

9. What books are you reading?:

I recently read Things in Jars by Jess Kidd and if you like that whole Victorian when medicine was a fine line between civilized and barbaric aesthetic with some aquatic monsters and ridiculously painful pinning between a woman and a ghost I def recommend it. After reading The Alchemist’s Daughter I have really developed a liking for these kinds of things. I am also reading Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead by Brene and it’s all about the way we let shame take over our lives.

hi everyone!! i’m birdie, i’m 21 and i’m in the cst timezone! 

harley is madison mccarthy’s daughter! 

it’s been just her and her mother now for several years due to her father passing away when she was just eight. she’s close to her mother and considers her one of her best friends. 

she was really open and bubbly as a kid, but once her dad passed away she became closed off. she has a hard time opening up to people now due to her thinking that if she gets close to anyone again then she’ll just lose them. 

she is practically the complete opposite now personality wise as a teenager. she’s snarky, hides how she feels the majority of the time, and can just come off as an ice queen to keep people at arms length.

she does have a soft side, but it tends to be her mother and family that sees that soft, vulnerable side more often than not she has to trust you a lot to show that side.

 i’m open to any sort of connections for harley! i’d definitely like some childhood friend connections that knew harley before her father passed and could either be strained friends now due to her pushing them away or she has one or two best friends she managed to still stay close to!

she’s a new muse so i’m def open to anything for her and still feeling her out so i’m going to flesh her out more as interactions happen!

okay so now that i’ve finally stopped crying and had a good night’s sleep here are all of my thoughts on avengers endgame:

things i liked:

the opening scene with clint losing his wife and kids -- my heart was in my throat the whole time; i felt so so bad for him

nebula and tony bonding

steve getting rid of that beard like thank god

tony and pepper reuniting

tony FINALLY telling steve off for everything; as a lifelong tony stan this was super cathartic

scott reuniting with cassie; in fact, all of scott’s scenes were awesome

bonus - the fact that the only reason any of this was able to happen was because a rat accidentally turned the machine back on

the fact that tony got married to pepper!!! and had a daughter!!! he was such a good dad to baby morgan i loved it

the entire funeral scene. the viking funeral wreath thing with the “proof tony stark has a heart” on it??? GOOD SHIT. i was bawling.

the way they treated thor. taika made thor so amazing in ragnarok and the russos (and the screenwriters) got jealous and shit all over it!!! wtf!!! (and all of the fat jokes and jokes about his ptsd were NOT cool. didn’t like rocket slapping him out of his panic attack either.) can’t believe they made him an alcoholic who sits on his ass and plays fortnite all day. wtf.

for that matter -- i CANNOT believe that he would just up and fuck off with the guardians of the galaxy and abandon his people. is valkyrie a worthy leader??? absolutely. but so is thor!!! that was his entire arc in endgame like WTF!!!! (also the fact that we didn’t get a thorkyrie kiss is fucking CRIMINAL)

also why couldn’t he keep the short hair??? why did he have to get mjolnir back when taika went to all the trouble of showing he didn’t need the hammer to be a hero? did they just want to fuck up EVERYTHING that taika did?

the ending for steve. ‘nuff said.

no you know what? i’m going to go into this further. do i like steve? no. i never have. his actions toward tony in civil war put him on my shitlist forever, and that’s all i am willing to say about that. but you expect me to believe that steve fucking rogers (who KNEW that peggy moved on, lived a good life and had a husband and kids) really went back and fucked up the timeline just to be with her? he barely knew her!! they barely bonded in the first avenger at all!! also there are so many plotholes with how in the world he managed that (what happened when the other cap woke up from the ice???) also does this mean that his ‘romance’ with sharon is technically incest??? and did he just live out the rest of his life with peggy knowing that bucky was being tortured by hydra? insert “it’s bad writing” gif here.

(i am glad that he passed the shield onto sam though. bucky would have been a terrible choice for captain america.)

the fact that natasha died instead of clint. i literally cannot fucking believe that they fridged the first female avenger just for clint’s (and everyone’s) man pain. it was bad enough when they fridged gamora for thanos’s man pain. clint should have died in nat’s place and the fact that he didn’t is a huge fucking cop out and that’s the that on that.

for that matter -- clint’s entire storyline prior to going back in time was WILD. his only explanation for killing all those people was “thanos snapped half the universe and you didn’t die so imma kill you.”  FUCKING WHAT????

the fact that the russos are patting themselves on the back for their “woke lgbt rep” that was actually just a “leave for the bathroom and miss it” extra. you know what would have been better? a stucky ending. a sambucky ending. carol going home to monica and maria. valkyrie kissing a girl. ANYTHING would have been better than that.

speaking of carol -- she was CRIMINALLY underused in this movie. she was barely shown mourning fury (and also!!! why did we get no confirmation about monica and maria????) and barely spoke to the team in general. i thought she was going to have a major role (and would help them go back in time) but she didn’t and that disappointed me.

did i like the fact that she destroyed thanos’s fleet? yes. but i wish she was used more. she’s the most powerful avenger ever!!! and i wish that she got to speak more with tony as they’re friends in the comics.

this might be controversial but i didn’t love the fact that pepper and tony suddenly retired to a lakehouse and became stay at home parents. i was totally expecting pepper and tony to keep running stark industries and make it into a charity organization that helped people in need/those affected by the snap.

the fact that they never fucking explained how time travel worked and WHY they couldn’t just go back and kill thanos as a baby (that was a good suggestion!). and the thing where nebula shot her past self and somehow lived??? it made no sense. i mean. i know it’s bad writing. but i was expecting it to be at least a LITTLE better. where are my explanations.

speaking of bad writing -- did the avengers ever come out and say the reason that everyone got dusted? did everyone know it was bc of thanos? why are some places in such states of disrepair and others are not? who ruled wakanda since shuri and t’challa were dusted? so many unanswered questions. rip.

the directing of the final battle was on par with the throne room battle scene in the last jedi in that both are chaotic and messy and that’s the that on that. as was the scene where hawkeye was beating up the yakuza. messy. lame. yawn.

the scene with all of the female superheroes. was it cool? sure. do i wish natasha could have been there? YES. do i wish that the mcu had more female superheroes? DOUBLE YES. was it a blatant attempt for the russos to pat themselves on the back and be like “sEE!! WE’RE FEMINISTS!!! LOOK AT US!!”?? definitely.

honestly, i was expecting the acting to be way worse than it was based on how all my mutuals were going off about it. overall, though, it was clear in some scenes that the actors had no idea what the context of their lines were and the acting was pretty meh throughout, and for the biggest marvel movie of the year the acting should be a damn sight better than “meh”. but this just reinforces what i know already, which is that the russos are shitty directors. get them as far away from the mcu as possible please and thank you.

Headcanon: Bat Treaty

• Agreed upon yearly date where all Batman's villains just be cool for an evening and have movie night with the Batfamily. • Joker's not invited, but gets sent a copy of the movie anyway so he feels included. • Duela HATES that he can't come, despite the fact that the many reasons why have been explained over and over again. • Bruce has commissioned a building specifically for watching movies. It's got like a fucking ginormous cinema screen and top hi-def surround sound and luxury seats with their own arm rests so no one is trying to steal yours and all the heroes, villains and anti heroes all agree it is the best viewing experience in Gotham. Those who know congratulate Bruce. Those who don't tell Batman to congratulate Bruce. • The Batfamily all have their secret favourite villain. Damian expertly hides his respect for Mr. Freeze. Barbara tries to hide her admiration of Ivy and fails HARD. Katherine kind of low key wants to get in Harley's pants. Pussy blocked by Ivy EVERY DAMN TIME. • Harper desperately wants to get in close with Cass so she's begging her to sit at the back. • Cass knows what's up but doesn't say so, she just smiles and plays along. • Selina is just endlessly flirting with Bruce. She knows Talia is right there. She just doesn't care. • Clayface has assumed the form of Joker and does a spot on impression all night just to fuck with Harley and Duela. Also Jason a bit. • Pamela's in the corner with Alec and Jason talking flora (Jason Woodrue, the Floronic Man, not Red Hood). None of them really want to socialise and people just kind of accept this, it's pretty much routine by now. • The only time Two-Face is more Harvey than Two-Face cause he knows he's just here to watch a movie and no one's going to try and arrest him. • Roman and Oswald are ALWAYS talking business and Roman ALWAYS sees Jason over Oz's head just giving him a hard stare. He doesn't like to say so, but Jason scares him quite a bit, what with the whole 'I Actually Kill' thing. • Actually all the villains are kind of scared of Jason except Scarecrow. • Rule #1 of movie night is no weapons and they all stick to it but Scarecrow has one small vial of insanely powerful fear toxin, just in case. • Harley always brings like 10 piñatas and a fuckton of baseball bats. It's a Gotham family tradition. No one knows where she keeps them or how she brings them, but they're glad she does. • Duela's really upset that Joker doesn't get to come but she just like mooches around with her father and Red Hood on her phone. She and Damian both feel strangely connected somehow. • Duke is just really social the whole evening and says goodbye to everyone at the door. He also bolts down everything that can be bolted down so Selina doesn't get any bright ideas. • Tim and Steph are the same, generally mingling. • Dick tries to get anyone and everyone to play Twister with him but fucking everyone knows he's an acrobat and gymnast so they're all like nah except Selina who takes the challenge every year and comes so close to beating him every year. This is the one thing that irritates her beyond imagination about Dick. • Nygma's just giving puzzles to everyone and they're all just like "the point of this is to get AWAY from work, fuck off Eddie". And he pretends to be hurt but really he's just happy to be a part of this. • Deathstroke and Deadshot drop the professional façade completely and have all the beers and sing Piano Man a lot and treat Jason like their son, much to the disdain of Bruce. Harley has come up with many different comedic nicknames for this sight. • No one sits at the back because it's owned by the Gotham City Sirens and Harper, Cassandra and Stephanie. No weapons is the official rule #1 but socially, rule #1 is don't sit at the back unless you want Ivy to beat you with a thorn whip. Everyone knows they're the big female family and everyone knows the structure off by heart: Ivy and Harley are the moms and Selina is the cool aunt who brings wine. Harper is the rebellious daughter, Cassandra is the best daughter and Stephanie is the gay in training. Katherine is the friend of the family and joins them sometimes. She is one of 4 who isn't officially part of the family who's allowed to join them. One is Harper's younger brother Cullen. Wonder Woman can also hang, along with any Themyscira pals she brings, if any. The other is Alfred. It's an iron-clad policy. Sometimes (rarely) Superman has free time and joins movie night. The first time he tried to sit at the back, the smell of chlorophyll and freshly cut grass stayed in his costume for MONTHS. He always sat right at the front from then and has been secretly terrified of Ivy ever since. They've been given many nicknames but The Back Pack or The Backfamily has been used the most. • Everyone loves Mr. Freeze at movie night because he makes the best slushies. • Bane arm wrestling Solomon Grundy. • Azrael is the social pariah. He never says hi and rarely talks. When he does it's yes or no or an unintelligible grunt. But when the movie starts you can hear him quietly in the background laughing or crying or gasping and everyone smiles cause they know he's a big softie. ESPECIALLY when it comes to dog movies. • Damian isn't even pretending to not want to be here. He isn't warm and friendly but he enjoys the company. He fights Ra's and Talia and always tries to get pointers from Lady Shiva. • The Court of Owls do not show up on principle but they promise not to terrorise Gotham while everyone's away. • Some people bring non-powered loved ones. The Backfamily love Harper's brother Cullen, so he's also allowed to sit there. If Superman shows up, you know he's bringing Lois. Diana also doesn't normally show up, but when she does, she shows up with her Amazon besties and you know they're bringing the feminism. • Killer Croc doesn't want to come but Harley, Deathstroke and Deadshot take lots of pictures and tell him loads of funny stories at the next Suicide Squad meet. • The alcohol is kept in a backroom only Alfred has the key to. No one is taking any chances with Garfield. • Everyone tells Riddler to be quiet because he always points out the plot holes and continuity errors and stuff like that. Usually he gets kicked out, unless it's finance movies like the Wolf Of Wall Street or something where he can distract himself with math. • ALFRED IS ALWAYS THE LIFE OF THE PARTY. NO ONE CARES HOW MUCH THEY HATE BATMAN OR BRUCE, EVERYONE APPRECIATES AND RESPECTS ALFRED. EVERYONE KNOWS AND AGREES HE'S THE BEST OUT OF EVERYONE IN THE ROOM. He's always coming around with the drinks and the snacks, giving out hot dogs and popcorn and nachos and corn dogs tirelessly and he smells really bad at the end of the night but he still gets the biggest hugs and most people bring like $20 spare just to tip him. He's also allowed to sit at the back, but it doesn't matter because he's more of a mid sitter anyway.

Would Harley get jealous if baby cp wanted only J to hold her and would cry if he put her down?

I think so yeah, I think that would be mutual and Joker would feel the same. They are both so narcissistic and competitive in nature, with something they treasure so much like their child and heir, they would def low key want to be “the favorite”. However I don’t think it’d go beyond that really. Like she wouldn’t lay awake at night having it bother her. It would just be like a jab in the moment but over all she can understand the attachment and obsession her daughter would have, because she has it to Joker herself. Vice versa for him to Harley as well. Plus she just wants her clown baby to always be smiling and laughing. I think she would try and manipulate and work something else out in her favor though. Like if she didn’t want Joker to ever put her down and she loved being held by him, then Harley would give her candy or a difference present so she’d have an upper hand in that sense.

-Harley is the 17 year old daughter of Jonathan Rowe, a single father employed as a pilot. 

-Her father wasn’t around much, so it was mostly up to her (and a nanny every now and then) to raise her brother, but eventually she found a few hobbies to escape into when being the only ‘adult’ person at home got to be to stressful.

-She entered a few of her art pieces into a local show at 15, and after she won a man approached her about painting some ‘replicas’ of famous paintings.

-She found out a few months later that the man had used her replicas to steal and replace the originals, but instead of turning him in she decided to keep working with him for a cut of the job.

-She was caught a month before this new semester started, and because she’s so young (and the daughter of someone decently rich) she was put in Silver Oak Academy,

Exciting Competition at the Lucas Oil, NHRA 2018 Winternationals!

Exploding engines, crashes, and a new record kicked off the 2018 NHRA calendar at the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals at the Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, California. Early on, Funny Car legend John Force shed the body off of his Peak Auto Chevrolet Camaro, while his daughter and last year’s champion Brittany Force went along for the ride as her Top Fuel car hit both walls and rolled over. She was taken to the hospital and treated for an injured shoulder.

The 11,000hp monsters powering some of these cars, though strong, can have a tough day. This was the case for Kalitta Motorsports driver Doug Kalitta, whose Top Fuel engine erupted into a fireball in the first elimination round of competition. Despite this, he came back to nudge out Tony Schumacher for the win in Top Fuel.

World champion, Robert Hight, couldn’t quite keep up with Matt Hagan, who made a 3.823-second pass at 335.90 mph, taking the win in Funny Car. This marks Hagen’s 27th career win and second consecutive Winternationals victory.

Bo Butner looks to defend his Pro Stock title this season and did so with a win. Taking down teammate Jason Line, Butner ran a 6.549 at 209.62 mph in the final round.

A record was also broken in Pomona last weekend, when Top Fuel driver Clay Millican piloted his car to a 3.628-second pass at 322.04 mph, the quickest pass for a Top Fuel car.

So by now we know that the joker and HQ won't intentionally hurt CP..... But all parents make mistakes,like when joker yelled and threw the glass at her. What if in the heat of the moment Harley hit/slapped CP? How would the joker react to that? PS: I love you smol bean 💚

😍😍😍 Ah thank you! 💚💜💚💜 In think in the imagine joker did yell at her but when he threw the glass it was more he I intentionally threw it at the wall to miss her. Like he could let his rage out but still be aware he'd never physically harm her. But if either of them were to make a mistake like that I def think Harley would be the one since she's more unstable in controlling herself. It's the only time joker would be for real furious with her and not look at her with love. It'd cause a huuuuuuge fight between the two and I see him even telling Harley to keep her distance for a while from both of them. Since joker would be so consumed with rage at seeing his daughter get hurt but confused that Harley is responsible he has no other choice but to give complete control to his daughter. So if she can forgive Harley then he will too. Maybe even make Harley jump into the chemical vat again to "cleanse" herself of it 🃏

How would Joker and Jared react if their daughters had really bad separation anxiety like they couldn't be in a different room without her and stuff?

I have a short imagine here about separation anxiety with jared if you’d like to read  💋 

Joker would totally use it to his advantage and not see a damn thing wrong with it. He’d love that she always wanted to be with him and would love it just as much. After living like that and being used to it he’d probably feel some sort of separation anxiety without her too like how he was with Harley in the knife circle. This would mean that Joker would have an excuse to take her everywhere with him and she’d always be up for it. If it came to something like a dangerous mission where he couldn’t risk bringing her and risk her getting hurt and had to leave, he’d leave some sort of comfort item like a coat or his cane or constantly have an ear piece in so he could talk to her. Harley would most likely be the one to try and help it by teaching her how to go out on her own and be independent and teach her about the world outside of that relationship. Not saying Harley wouldn’t want them close but she’d take inspiration from her relationship with the Squad. She loves her puddin but she also liked rolling with her “friends” too or the sirens ya know so she’d want her daughter to experience the same. 💜💜

For Jared maybe when the kids little he’d see no problem since like most kids are attached to one parent. When she got older or when he had to go away and stuff then he’d realize that she needed to break the cycle of that. So maybe see a therapist to get coping mechanisms for her to use and practice going out without him and with her friends or mom or other family member. But like in the imagine above I wrote I def think he’d do stuff like that because being in a diff country is totally different than a separate room 💛💛
