Bitch That Is NOT A Deer

I love it when we turn Danny into animals because of some weird reason or another, has anyone else done deer yet?

"AAAHHHHHHH!"

A scream reverberated through the cave walls below the manor. A battle of the ages taking place for anyone brave enough to witness it.

"LET GO YOU BAMBI WANNABE, THIS IS MY CHILI DOG."

Jason managed to rip the package away from the jaws of the beast, he knew it was mistake to bring down any kind of food into the cave where the creature resided but in that moment he was thinking more with his stomach.

Demon Brat had once again found another animal, a baby deer of all things, and decided to keep it knowing fully well how to pull the strings of both Bruce and Dick into letting him keep it. The thing is Jason always got a weird vibe from it, almost like some part of him was trying to warn him that this was no normal fawn and living with it proved that.

After being brought to the cave it refused to leave, claiming the environment down here as it's own. They've all tried to move it but it always found its way back down here so they just gave up and created a space for it. Another weird thing about it is it's cry. It does not sound like a normal fawn but instead had the echoing tone of a human baby but appearently only Jason could hear it, the others all said it sounded like a normal animal but he gets the feeling Damian is fucking with him, it doesn't help that Duke is also suspicious of the 'deer'.

But the last reason that really sold him on it not being a normal deer was the fact that it. Ate. EVERYTHING!

No food was safe with the deer around, if you were to put something down it would 100% without fail find its way into the maw of the ravenous creature. This ranged from simple pieces of candy to an entire rotisserie chicken (bones included), it even managed to drink his entire smoothie that had a lid covering it. Everyone tells him that there's no way it could drink through the straw because its mouth wasn't shaped to do so but he knows it did goddamnit.

Now it was infront of him vocalizing its discontent for Jason not sharing his food with a weird ass whine from its mouth.

"No! This is people food, you are a 'deer', ACT LIKE IT!"

The deer stopped its whining.

Looked Jason dead in the eyes.

And stood up...

"Ah hell naw, DAMIAN! COME GET YOUR DAMN DEER!"

It wasn't rare for Samatoki to notice someone sneaking a photo of him and Ichiro when they were out together. He could never even be mad about it, really, because he agreed.

They looked damn good together.

Eye-catching, too. Especially when he was in his favorite leather jacket, and Ichiro was in his ceremonial robes.

Ichiro had plenty of casual clothes too. He usually met up with Samatoki in one of his big, comfortable hoodies, which were dwindling in number since Samatoki kept 'accidentally' taking them home with him. But sometimes Samatoki picked Ichiro up straight from a ceremony he was performing in the city, or from the shrine before he'd had a chance to change out of his lovely blue hakama.

They always got the most attention when they went out like that, with Ichiro looking every bit like the Shinto priest that he was. And while Samatoki didn't necessarily love the attention, he did love the way Ichiro looked in his robes.

(He loved the way Ichiro looked in anything, everything, and nothing at all.)

Normally, when he noticed a cell phone camera pointed their way, Samatoki let it go. He'd talked about it with Ichiro once, to make sure Ichiro didn't mind it either; Ichiro didn't, so Samatoki figured there was no reason to care.

It was only when he knew they looked even better than usual that he bothered to call out to their not-so-sneaky photographers.

The first time he did, they were walking off dinner at a seaside park. Samatoki in his leather jacket, with his hair slicked back. Ichiro in his everyday robes.

Samatoki had just stopped for a cigarette break, and Ichiro had dipped a hand into Samatoki's jacket pocket to get his lighter out for him. That was when Samatoki noticed a girl with her phone out, in the corner of his eye.

He could imagine what they looked like. Him with his head bowed, cigarette dangling from his lips, and Ichiro with one hand cupped around the lighter to protect the flickering flame.

It was a sort of moment that would become more and more rare for them. Samatoki already knew he wanted to quit smoking, for Ichiro. He was already starting to cut back.

Maybe that was why having something to remember it by felt all the more important.

"Oi." Samatoki crooked a finger at the girl—just a kid, really—who froze up and looked like she might keel over like one of those little fainting goats when Samatoki abruptly met her gaze. "Come here."

To her credit, the girl did unstick her feet from the ground and sheepishly shuffle closer after a few seconds, phone clutched guiltily in both hands. Samatoki could practically see her quivering with fear, and Ichiro was giving him a confused and faintly disapproving look, so he put her out of her misery as soon as she stopped next to them.

"I'm not mad," Samatoki reassured, before the girl could even finish stammering out an apology. He held his cigarette off to one side and nodded at her phone. "Just let me see."

The girl blinked. She must not have been expecting that. After a moment, she did load up the photo she'd taken and turn the phone screen towards Samatoki.

Ichiro leaned against Samatoki to take a look too.

Just as Samatoki had expected, they looked damn good in that photo. The sun was setting behind them. Ichiro was wearing a soft, fond smile that Samatoki hadn't seen with his head ducked low. The vast difference in their styles of dress made Samatoki realize, all of a sudden, that he totally understood the appeal of cosplay sex.

It was definitely a moment worth remembering.

Samatoki took out his own phone and unlocked it. "Send it to me."

The girl seemed to be in such a daze that she did as told without questioning it one bit. As soon as Samatoki nodded again, uttered a curt 'thanks', and told her she could go, she scurried off like a mouse escaping a trap with its life just barely intact.

Ichiro watched as Samatoki set that photo as his home screen wallpaper, then dropped his head to Samatoki's shoulder to muffle a laugh.

"You know you scared the shit out of that kid?"

Samatoki grinned as he stubbed his cigarette out in his pocket ashtray, no longer all that interested in smoking it. "She gets to keep the picture and tell her friends a fun story. Win-win, I'd say."

Ichiro hummed and didn't disagree. He pressed a kiss to the crook of Samatoki's neck before lifting his head to look at the photo again. A cute, dopey grin soon spread across his face.

"Send it to me too."
