Invimagisasurai: An inviane identity that can only be described by this specific version of the Magician, by Stasia Burrington. This card is found in the Sasuraibito Tarot. This may be used on its own, or as a gender, aldern, or any other aspect of identity.
[ID: two rectangular flags with 5 horizontal stripes. The stripes from top to bottom are medium pink, near black, pale blue, very dark grey, soft brown. In the middle of the first flag, there is a Magician tarot card. The card depicts a black-haired man in a blue shirt, with eight arms, some of them translucent. In front of him is a table with 3 overturned cups on it. He is reaching for one of the cups with 2 hands, one is resting on the table, one is folded against his stomach, and the other four are raised. One of them holds a wand, pointed directly upward. In a semicircle around his head are 6 blue balls. At the bottom of the card is the roman numeral 1 within a black diamond, and below that is text reading "the magician." End ID.]

You might not label the emotion coursing through your feelings as love even though it is demonstrated in how you are engaging within your social relationships today. It is as if your entire agenda today is to assist in bringing about happiness and success to each of their unique desires and dreams. What is remarkable is that in order to achieve this result you are not only using wisdom but a creative flare in helping them recognise that their dreams and desires are possible and can be achieved on the condition that they believe that it can be done.

Thinking about how Lu Guang's card in the tarot short wasn't revealed but my friend Rulos was talking about how some stuff implies it's the Hanged Man. Which.
I do tarot, right? I'm not the best but I enjoy it and so I have a bit to say.
The Hanged Man isn't what most non-tarot people expect when they hear the name, because he's hanging by his ankle. Not his neck. Rather than symbolizing doom or tragedy, the Hanged Man represents being caught in stasis.
From my Sasuraibito Tarot Deck: The Hanged Man is trapped in temporary suspension. He is alive, but with his life on hold... The Hanged Man represents inner harmony and letting go, and recognizes that this discomfort is temporary and will pass.
Personally, I think that if he did get the Hanged Man, it might be reversed, because that can mean: Stubbornness, selfishness, refusing to give up perspective to gain new insight.
I see both the upright and reversed Hanged Man as possibilities for Lu Guang's future. He could either let go of Cheng Xiaoshi or cling on tighter than ever.
Either way, he is in stasis. The question is: will he ever manage to escape, or has he trapped himself in a Sisyphean hell of his own design?
[Tell me if you want me to talk about CXS getting The Fool. I have A LOT to say about that.]

Very interesting idea!! First, it's not April Fool's day kind of thing I hope? Second, now to my question, do you have any suggestion on which tarot to pick other than visual preference? (which I might go for in the end because I don't know much about tarot and their different types, I think there are at least 2?)
Lol, it's definitely not an April Fools joke! I'm very excited to launch this, I've been sitting on it for a while.
I don't have any Lenormand decks, which might be the 2nd type of tarot you're referring to. All the decks I have follow the traditional 78-card tarot structure. Choosing a deck based on visual style is perfectly valid and often a good indicator of how well you'll work/vibe with that deck and its cards. You can also research the decks' creators or read reviews to see if there's a deck on the list that matches a particular characteristic you're looking for.
I can also give a quick breakdown of the different decks available for the fest:
Rider-Waite-Smith: probably what you think of when you think of tarot. I used the Magician card from this deck in my initial promo post. Many other decks take their inspiration from the Rider-Waite-Smith artwork
Everyday Tarot: simple, minimalistic cards based off the Rider-Waite-Smith art, done in white, gold, and purple
Fifth Spirit Tarot: queer and inclusive deck that expands tarot archetypes beyond the gender binary
Ink Witch Tarot: done in a limited color palette. References Arthurian legends as well as Norse and Greek myths, pagan witches, and fairytales
Light Seer's Tarot: uses contemporary characters in a brightly & richly colored style
Morgan-Greer Tarot: similar to Rider-Waite-Smith but more colorful and more intimate, as a lot of the illustrations are more zoomed-in
Next World Tarot: features a world based on radical redefinitions of love and social justice. Also features diversity in body types and abilities
Queer Tarot: based on the Rider-Waite-Smith but features models/characters of a wide range of queer identities (including gender expressions and sexual orientations) in a very brightly colored style that references queer history
Sasuraibito Tarot: a deck designed to aid the curious wanderer, featuring contemporary Western characters as well as Japanese and Buddhist concepts
Spacious Tarot: this deck features no human characters. Most cards feature only nature, and the court cards feature various animals
This Might Hurt Tarot: a modern, queer, and diverse take on the Rider-Waite-Smith artwork
I hope this at least serves as a good jumping off point for you!

3. In order to have prosperity, and a nurturing love for self and others, where should I focus my energy?
I have a sense of defeatism and need to focus on overcoming my fears. Use my intuition and focusing on what really matters and negate all the doubts and trepidation I have. I can achieve fulfillment if I can reroute the energy I spend worrying

This deck has been around for a little bit, but deserves noting so that everyone can see it. The Sasuraibito Tarot, which roughly means “wanderer”, is a fully illustrated 78 card deck done in traditional media by artist Stasia Burrington. This deck is colorful and expressive and offers a wide range of interpretations. You can purchase the deck by itself or bundled together with a matching spread cloth, and the cards are glossy heavy card stock with golden edges.

Complacency is not on your menu today. Your determination to create new social or business connections for yourself is on turbo drive. The ideal end desire that consumes your thoughts is the amount of personal rewards and happiness that will eventually be reaped. What though is important to remember today in all this busyness is to remain flexible should setbacks, obstacles or mishaps arise to steer you off today’s project.

The Cheng Xiaoshi Tarot Reading You've All Been Waiting For
[Caution: I am just one Tarot lover, who lives in the US. This is just one interpretation of the story.]
So the deck is organized in two sections when you first get it, before you shuffle that shiny new deck. The Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana.
The Major Arcana are the 23 cards you are probably most used to and some consider them to be more important or intense in meaning if you pull one (I don't because the Minor Arcana have a lot to say, too). They're The Fool through the World. You can do a reading with just the Major Arcana, and a lot of people sell just those. (I need to check again, but I personally believe Qiao Ling only had the Major Arcana, from the number and types of cards that were spilled.)
The Minor Arcana are divided into 4 suits, like a normal deck of cards. The suits are Cups, Pentacles, Wands, and Swords. Each suit has an Ace through a Ten, along with a Page, Knight, Queen, and King. Each suit and card number has meaning. A Knight of Cups is way different from a Knight of Pentacles.
The Fool is the first card. Full stop. It's at the top of your deck when you first get a new one (if it's not already shuffled). It is the beginning of the journey to self discovery, and when you interpret the Major Arcana as a story it is You, the protagonist, fresh faced and ready to meet the world (referencing the World, card 22).
The Fool is the first card, but it isn't labelled card 1. Its number is 0, completely new and unencumbered.
That's why Cheng Xiaoshi getting the Fool Reversed is so interesting to me. Here's the snippet from my tarot deck (Sasuraibito, beautiful deck, based loosely on the prototypical Raider-Waite deck along with other influences):
Tumblr media
Remember, Cheng Xiaoshi got the Fool Reversed, not Upright. What I find so interesting is that, on the surface (particularly when he's comfortable) CXS can be seen as "childlike and innocent, able to take risks and be spontaneous", but he is actually burdened by the weight of so many things. The loss of his parents, his loneliness, the emotions and lives of others he has lived.
He is both stuck in his old habits and patterns of thoughts (fixing people, saving things that can't or shouldn't or don't need to be saved) and reckless and foolhardy (witnessed by himself when he possessed Lu Guang in s2). In fact, he is stuck in his pattern of recklessness.
He is the unstoppable force. Lu Guang is the immoveable object. But things are changing and they will either learn and grow, or be crushed by their patterns of behavior, by the fears and trauma they can't shake.
Still, something I always tell people when I am giving them a reading is that the future is always in flux. Some people even say that the past, present, and future are all always in flux.
Fate is not ordained. We are not the prisoners of time. The future will surely be changed because of us.
So what I am waiting to see is what story Link Click wants to tell. Is it a cautionary tale? Are they their own destruction? Is our fate absolute, predetermined?
Or is hope enough? Can we break out of the patterns of our behavior? Can our love for others be a strength, rather than a burden?
I'd like to say the ending will be a happy one. But who knows.
If it isn't I'll just make another fix-it fic.

Relationship Combo-Spread
Tumblr media
Happy Valentine's Day to all you lovely souls out there!
Here's a Spread I made using a combination of Tarot, Runes and Oracle cards!
Tumblr media
My daughter is the Love of my life, so this spread looks in to the relationship I have with her.
The Tarot cards look at who I am to my daughter, who she is to me, and what kind of relationship we have.
The Runes describe our hopes, desires and dreams.
The Oracle card looks at our Relationship as a whole and what we have to be grateful for.
Tarot:
Tumblr media
Me: Queen of Pentacles - I am my daughter's safety net; I provide a warm home-base for her where she is nurtured (body & soul) and she can thrive. I make sure she has a comfortable home where she is fed, clothed, gets enough sleep, her talents are encouraged and developed and she knows she is loved unconditionally.
Maya: Queen of Cups - My daughter is 4, and everything is felt deeply on an emotional level - she teaches me to be mindful of how things FEEL rather than how practical they are. Seeing the world through her eyes is a joy, I can see how kindness, comfort and love are the most important qualities to nurture.
Relationship: 2 of Cups - We have a warm, supportive relationship where honesty and reliability matter. We are secure in the knowledge that we love each other, no matter what. We treat eachother with respect and kindness.
Runes:
Tumblr media
Me: GEBO - Balance, Partnership, Gifts - My biggest hope is that I can continue to provide a stable home for Maya where she knows she is loved. It is hard sometimes as a single mum and Maya struggles with her dad's abcense but I think she knows we are a team and together we can conquer all. She is the biggest Gift in my life and I will always cherish her.
Maya: WUNJO- Joy, Comfort, Pleasure - My daughter is a veritable well of emotions, being 4 means that Reason and Practicality are much lower on her list of priorities than how she Feels about things. As long as she can laugh, feel good and is enjoying her day, she is happy. Of course there are times when she feels sad, angry, upset or unwell but as long as I remember to listen to her emotions and validate them rather than shaming her for tears or tantrums, we can get through it all.
Relationship: LEGUZ - Renewal, Birth, Motherhood - Before I had Maya I thought I knew how Mothers felt about their children. I was wrong. I was not prepared for how deep this Love runs. It still catches me by surprise at times! Becoming a Mother was certainly the beginning of a new life for me, a Rebirth if you like - I was no longer just Tania, now I am Mama as well. Motherhood has it's ups and downs, it's trials and tribulations, but I am forever changed since giving Birth to my daughter and I hope to never lose sight of the Wonder of her 💖
Oracle:
Tumblr media
Relationship: Abundance - We have a lot to be thankful for in our relationship. We may not be rich, financially speaking, but we have more than enough. We have a warm, comfortable flat, a large loving family to support us, enough food and clothes, and little luxuries such as toys, books and ice-cream to share. There is an abundance of Love in our home and we are not shy about it! Hugs, cuddles, kisses and words of comfort and encouragement are shared freely. It is important for me not to lose sight of these Blessings, as I often feel like I should do better as a Mum and question wether I am enough...

In need of witchy wisdom!!!!
Tumblr media
Ok so for the next month I'm gonna work with this deck to bond and get to know better.
Today my homework was to ask "tell me your strengths as a deck" and pull 3 cards.
This is what i got...
This is supposed to be the strengths.. I'm having such a hard time figuring this out. I know each of these cards separately. I know what they mean when they come up in readings. But like all 3 for strengths of my deck...
I promise I shuffled real good and hard!
Help me!
