Okay also the other thing. Debbie calls in during sweet dreams & flying machines, the episode they get Emily back? And she's talking about being in the Void and what it's like inside.

She talks about how her and the others trapped in the Void seem to cycle through scenes of real life and their memories(?), and how she's been tracking the Book through these memories/rooms.

And the way she calls in is that she ends up finding the book in an empty radio studio .

She does not specify that it's the KFAM studio.

Is it fucking. Is it a memory from Jack about his and Sammy and Lily's old studio . Hello. Can anyone hear me. Am I making any sense at all.

Ah yes a w359/kfam/malevolent enjoyer.... exquisite taste. If you want another podcast with Harlan Gunthrie, there's a podcast called Woe.Begone that has a character with his voice almost episode after episode 70. (Theres 170 episodes hah)

y'all, with the major kfam discord going on hiatus due to the podcast still being on hiatus,,,, I think we need to come to terms there is a very good chance kfam might not come back. I really don't want to speculate but with the whole stuff going on, I think we need the fandom and new listeners to be aware.

There have been longer podcast hiatuses, but for some reason I think this isn't going to end well.

See... here's my thing about Debbie: I too want to believe that she's not wholly evil, that she's a product of the void and just desperately wants out.

HOWEVER, there's also plenty of evidence that there's more to her than meets the...er...ear.

she lured Troy INTO the dark twister thing

she withholds really important information until it suits her to share

consequently, this also applies to her memory where one minute she knows something or someone (see her information regarding Jack) and the next, she doesn't.

she used Cecil. I understand he's the vessel, but how is it she was so easily able to inhabit his body? Isn't that something only the Shadowmaker can do?

she ACTIVELY wanted Sammy to stop Ben from rescuing Emily. And at this point, she had had the notebook which means, she would have seen that Emily was "The One". If that was the case, then she would have been encouraging Sammy and Ben to save Emily because Emily in turn, could save those trapped in the void.

All I'm saying is, there's far more to Debbie than her just being a desperate spectre. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she WAS the Shadowmaker and she presents herself as Debbie to seem like a semi-benevolent person to lure more people to the shadows. The Shadowmake always seems to show up right after she does and her voice changes along to match his...

so some thoughts on debbie? i know that was batshit, and that debbie was actively trying to lure emily into the void to switch places with her. also that it’s implied that debbie did the same to the previous librarian. and that’s terrible, like that’s Evil, but i don’t -still don’t-think that debbie is truly malevolent ya know? she’s definitely slipping into the Active Treat category and what she did and was trying to do was terrible, but she’s still very sympathetic to me. idk, i want to like debbie

ok i’ve been doing lots of inventory at my job so i’ve had plenty of time for a relisten and i just got to the first debbie ep (ep 35) and at the end of the ep she’s talking about the shadow maker and says “he came for her, and her, and me” and i’m pretty sure emily is one of the “hers” but who is the other one?? (also near the beginning when she’s reading the names that are in the book, they cut her off before the last one and she was totally gonna say jack, right??)
