I’d like to clear up some common misconceptions about the Attack on Titan Tower, aka when Jason infiltrated it to attack Tim
If you want to read this for yourself, here are some links:
readallcomics - I have the best luck with this site on destop
zipcomic
readcomicsonline - this site can be temperamental
1) Jason did not go there to attempt to kill Tim
Jason seems to have 3 separate goals for this:
- size up the new kid.
- make sure he knows Bruce just sees him as another soldier
- prove to Tim just how dangerous the job is (heavily implied, in my opinion, especially after Tim tried telling Jason he was wrong about how Bruce saw him)
He also voiced his anger over being forgotten by everyone. Depending on your interpretation of Jason and his character, this could also be a reason. To me, this feels more like an afterthought because they moved to the Hall of Fallen Heroes before he said this, and Jason likes to be dramatic.
Side note on this. Jason never says anything about being replaced.
2) none of Tim’s injuries were life threatening
Once again, Jason was not attempting to kill him. He beat him up pretty badly, but it was designed to prove a point
3) Jason did NOT cut Tim’s throat.
That happened during Hush which predates both Under the Red Hood and Titan’s Tower. Jason was pretending to be Hush, put a knife to Tim’s throat, and put enough pressure to make him bleed (it was not an actual slice) to get Bruce to react to him. That injury was not life threatening either
4) Jason developed a respect and a bit of envy for Tim after fighting him
At the end of the issue while he’s leaving (while outside the tower), Jason acknowledges Tim’s skill. Jason also wonders if he could have had a life more similar to his, where he had friends and a better support system, if he could have had a different life.
5) Tim was NOT a damsel in distress during the fight, and he did NOT develop a fear of Jason.
Tim was making quips and dissing Jason the entire fight. Tim was not afraid of him nor did he bat an eye at being attacked by Jason. He also vocalized just how much he had to work for his cape because of how Jason's death affected Bruce
Also, the next time Tim saw Jason after this, he made sure to kick Jason in the groin
6) Jason wrote "Jason Todd was here" and signed it with a hand print on the wall.
It looks like it could be in blood, but Tim's not injured enough for there to be that much... and blood darkens after a while. There's a bit of time between Tim getting knocked out and the rest of the Titans finding him and the writing so it's probably paint. Again, Jason likes to be dramatic
7) more Robin!Jason slander by Raven
Once again, we get the mention that Jason was "aggressive". I swear, this is the only thing writers remember from Death in the Family and not the point that that behavior was out of the ordinary for Jason. This is a personal pet peeve of mine in the comics.
8) almost forgot to add the most important part, Jason made a homemade Robin costume and wore it under his Red Hood outfit because he could
Again, Jason is a dramatic bitch.

am i a writer mother
i am a disorganized wreck that is navigating trauma blocks nearly every time I try to focus on any one of the 4-5 (45-6?) pieces of fiction, fantasy, medical horror, history mishmash from scraps of paper, halftry blurts of social media and letters to the proverbial editors to would-be storyboards and at least a page and a half of solid draft material. I have a cat that reminds me softly with a sad face when I'm thinking too hard about difficult topics and another that tears up my work any chance that he gets. I sometimes think I need to carry a sticky pad and 2 types of 4colored pen around the house with my chores. Some days I wonder why the proverbial price of 200 words a day shouldn’t be set at 2000. And others when the only words written are to friends and family. There are words that fly from my fingers and never see a page — some wished erased the moment they fly. And some days there are no words.

Pete didn't realize he was holding his breath until Vegas slightly moved in front of him. He was too focused on what was in Vegas' hands, stretched in his direction for Pete to apparently take.
A gift, Vegas called it. Pete couldn't understand.
"Vegas. What are those?"
It was a stupid question to ask, but Pete couldn't help it.
Vegas' grip tightened around the bouquet. "Isn't it obvious? Flowers," he replied hastily, the pitch of his voice higher than normal. "Do you not like them?"
He was nervous. On edge. It explained some things, but not everything. Pete had to know. He had to figure out what was going on.
"Did something happen at the compound?"
Vegas had been at a meeting with Porsche all evening. He had seemed fine upon returning home, but then he suddenly interrupted Pete who had been washing the dishes and pulled out a bouquet of yellow roses from his backpack and he offered them to him with a warm smile on his face, somehow expecting Pete to not grow suspicious of the gesture.
"Why do you think something happened at the compound?" Vegas asked and his tone of voice made Pete finally raise his head to look at him.
Vegas looked hurt. His eyes were glassy, his breathing uneven. He was going to cry soon if this conversation continued. Pete didn't want that.
"I... just... Vegas, we can go to our bedroom if you want-"
"Fuck, Pete, it's not about that," Vegas groaned and threw the bouquet on the dinner table. He ruffled his hair harshly and muttered something Pete didn't hear. Probably calling himself a failure, as always.
"Has nobody ever given you a present before?" he shouted two seconds later, returning his attention to Pete, who could feel his eyebrows furrowing as he was staring back at him.
All Pete could do at the moment was utter the first thing that came to his mind.
"No? Why would they need to?"
Seeing the change in Vegas' demeanor made Pete come to a second realization then; that was the wrong answer to give.

Rey! You have always been watching out for me and so so kind. So! I wanted you to be the first person I told this to!
I became a nun!!! :*(〃∇〃人)*:
I've been working so very hard! I finally succeeded! I will do my best to look after others in town and my siblings of the temple! Would you like to join me sometimes? (*^^*)
- 🦊 Aubrey
Congratulations, Aubrey! It seems the temple has been blessed with a rare gift today. I’m certain you’ll take good care of your fellow members.
I’m afraid that temple life isn’t suited for me, but keep me posted, okay?
