Book accurate Jon and Dany 😡❤️

Decided to take a break from studying today because I felt too fried to do anything else, mentally and physically - so I doodled my favourite blorbos. Jon has been alright in the show, I liked him well enough, but ever since I began reading the books he's been growing on me, it's crazy. Dany stays number 1 though<3 my sweet girl with her Viserion.

Guys what are your thoughts on this. I wrote the comment the very first one ,on a tiktok where it was talked about how deanerys was 13-14 when she got pregnant. My second comment was how devastating I find it that she expected to marry her brother who is a lot older than her actually ( I know it's an age gap about 8 years but I'm not so sure). And someone asked why it is devastating since it is tradition. I think I made my point clear in my response and would like to know how you see this? My opinion stands that I think it is really sad that she expected to marry her brother who is also her abuser.

So what are your thoughts , is it wrong to finde it devastating that a childe expected to marry her brother who abuses her just because it is tradition?

asoiaf fans hate that george didn’t find the “lost targaryen prince” storyline compelling all because daenerys instantly interested him more as a “frightened girl becoming a powerful woman” and even said that he wanted to play with gender roles and reverse things when asked why she wasn’t a prince. those same people will also be the ones who most commonly mischaracterise, demonise and/or reduce daenerys to martyrdom. yet, if george had made daenerys a male targaryen none of this would happen

so like I’m aware that in hotd, Rhaenyra talks about the prince that was promised, and half of the fandom thinks she was talking about Jon Snow, and the other half thinks she was talking about Dany even if Rhaenyra did say “prince” in the show, but in high Valyrian their aren’t any pronouns, so it could be princess that was promised, and it could also be referring to both of them as in the sense of prince and princess that was promised? Idk just a random thought

Remember that sketch of Euron playing the accordion? I figured I do another sketch for the same fic on the other page, featuring something I am not remotely as confident at: kids.

So, have a complicated picture of Euron's A+ parenting involving taking a nine-year-old that can't swim (Dany) and a ten-year-old that'll crawl into every flood crevice in sight (Joan, i.e. Jon) to a tide beach. And just. Not paying attention.

I hadn’t painted in a while so I was worried it would turn out badly but I impressed myself instead!!!
