For the last week I have been working on one fairly large-scale project, which is spontaneous, a little grateful and generally full of bright feelings.

And so! I'm proud to present to you a little comic based on @nhasablogg's fanfiction that I really enjoyed. So in the end I decided to transfer these feelings into creativity

You better read this fanfic, because it is very sweet and sensual, and my scribbles only convey half of what is written there

dean taking up the opportunity to explicitly control sam when sam was soulless will never not make me insane. like first it was in the name of getting to the bottom of samuel's hunting operation, then it devolved into dean piloting his entire compass within the time frame of a single episode. it was for a reason he perceived to be for both sam's benefit as well as the benefit of whatever hunt they were on and sam pretty much let him, considering the fact that his explicit change in agency also portrayed some level of push-back against dean and his actions in a way sam hadn't since season four. but sam let dean puppet (or become the 'jiminy cricket' of) his morality anyway due to the idea that sam felt like dean's companionship was beneficial to his own hunting abilities (as well as it just feeling plainly and simply Right that they were working together, if sam's reaction to their reunion in 6.01 is any indication). but i'm more interested in dean's decisions here and how indicative they are relating to his future (and past) actions

SAM AND DEAN in SEASON 11

When I started writing fanfic back in the dark ages (2020) I would never have guessed that one day I’d be holding bound copies of my own writing. My writing. In actual physical book form.

Bound by not one but two amazingly talented people who liked my silly little stories so much they bound them for themselves. Not only that, but they also then bound a second copy and sent it to me (not a small feat, we live in completely different countries and they took nearly 3 months to get here).  

I am stunned. Awed. Amazed. Humbled. So very grateful. They are sitting next to my keyboard and I keep stroking them like they’re cats. They are so pretty! Each is so perfectly suited for the plot of the fic too. A hunter’s journal for the SPN/911 crossover and colour changing scales for the Merman Buck fic? I could never have imagined such perfection or had the skill to do this myself.

Thank you, my wonderful fandom friends. You have given me a truly unique gift that I treasure. And that my family is fighting over about who gets to read which first! If you’re curious about the fics. Mind the tags: Trust me, Darlin’ Cherish

the thing is that i do not care if someone wants to steer clear of the whole mess of sam & dean and the dynamics of abuse going on there, because fandom is supposed to be fun and hell knows even though i like thinking about it, it's always on the knife's edge of risking a panic attack lmao.

but i do care if someone's reasoning for it is 'actually, dean can't be abusive towards sam because sam is an adult who can leave whenever he wants.'

i feel like you are perhaps saying more about yourself than you might think if you claim that.
