Ill-tempered and bitingly cold is what winter is often seen as, with blinding snowfalls and wicked winds that cut into your skin, yet there is also an eerie silence that accompanies the thick blanket of snow that covers the island itself. If you stand still near the winter fairies mountains, then you will hear nothing, for the mountains themselves shield the winter fairies from prying eyes, but shall you somehow find your way to go all the way west on the Firstborn Meadow, then an eerie song will echo in the distance. The sounds are sometimes deep, and sometimes loud and sharp; and always so jarring and cold. The waters on the lakes are freezing solid, and it is the only way the Firstborn fairy of winter can let his own voice trail and form into uncanny songs far too strange for any Big Folk to understand.

Error holds nothing secret during his winter. It is the time of year when you’ll see and know him as ancient and ethereal, and the sounds of his songs will not falter… until the winds of spring are near.

You’ve succeeded in portraying the otherworldly nature of this darling fairy of winter, @aoi-kanna. Error is definitely the strangest looking of the Firstborn fairies, and though they all are so incredibly different and mystical to even other fairies around them, Error certainly has always possessed that special unique appearance; beautiful and terrifying, just like his beloved winter. Wonderful work!

garrett, the main character of the thief trilogy, is such a funny version of the chosen one trope. he's in all the prophecies and central to stopping all the big almost-apocalypses but he never attains notoriety or power. by deadly shadows he'd saved the world twice and no one gives a fuck. almost no one knows. guards try to murder him on the street for being a petty criminal. pedestrians shoulder check him and call him a loser

he's a reclusive loner who never gets a plucky band of comrades. he has no friends. his fences betray him. the only person who ever really works with him or shows him any respect is viktoria (in metal age) who had previously betrayed him and ripped his eye out (builder forbid women do anything)

he complains about being swept up in apocalyptic events non stop and not in a reluctant hero or 'woe is my heavy burden of duty' way, but just kinda bitches and moans about it while doing it anyway. even when he gives in and commits to helping his general vibe is "is this what we're doing now? okay" and his goal seems to be getting it over with so he can get on with his life

in the third game he finds a journal written about the downfall of the previous game's antagonist whom he destroyed (with the help of viktoria who really hard carried that mission with the treepocalypse thing and spare supplies while garrett spent 3 hours sitting on ledges waiting for twenty angry robots to de-aggro), and it attributes the victory to a religious cult's god

the handful of people who know what he did think he's a loser. and he IS a loser (affectionate) who thinks he's so cool and makes snarky quips to himself out loud while attempting to be stealthy. he is only one step removed from the kronk stealth scene in the emperor's new groove

Like I start a new game and they're just staring me directly in the eyes. I start a new anime and they're watching me sleep. I go onto YouTube and CyYu is streaming. You can never escape the voice actors.

Hurt/kinda comfort with Alpha and Pebble hehehehe ! Alpha gets seriously injured, Pebble is here for him.

FAIR WARNING there is lots of blood and fairly detailed injuries, so if this makes you uncomfortable please don't read.

Pebble isn't that prone to panic, but right now, he is very much on the brink of the biggest stress-induced crisis of his entire life.

When Ivy came to him, breathless, knees specked with dirt and flecks of blood, Pebble braced for the worst, and still, he wasn't ready for the sight waiting for him.

Ivy dragged him to the edge of the woods and there, awkwardly propped in a sitting position against a tree, surrounded by a pool of his own blood, was Alpha.

Now Pebble is kneeling next to the fire ghoul, and he can't even breath because the smell of Alpha's blood makes him want to retch - it's wrong, wrong, wrong.

Pebble himself wandering too far in the woods and having a bad encounter with whatever lurks in there wouldn't be so surprising ; it happened before. Alpha is always the one to grumpily tend to his wounds because the feeling of quintessence stitching the earth ghoul's flesh back together makes his skin crawl.

Alpha, with his warm, steady hands, who's a much better nurse than most would expect, despite his scowls and furious rant as he fixes Pebble.

Their roles being so suddenly, so violently inversed, is a disarming, horrific thing for Pebble. He has to do something. He has to call Omega-

With a gasp, Alpha scrambles blindly to grab Pebble's wrist. His eyes aren't even open, his blood-splattered chest heaving with great difficulties.

"Don't- not- Omega. Not Omega."

"They had a fight," Ivy explains, twisting his hands together in distress. Pebble takes a steadying breath in. Act. He has to act, because that stubborn bastard of a fire ghoul could very well, even in the state he's in, fight them if they bypassed his demand, and endanger himself even more.

"Ivy. Go get a first aid kit, anything that could help with the pain without killing him, bandages and things to clean him. I'll handle this."

Ivy is off in a second. Carefully, Pebble leans forward and tries to take stock of Alpha's injuries without jostling him, despite the copious amount of blood.

There seems to be six wounds on his chest, not that big but definitely deep, dangerously so if the rivulets of dark crimson spurting from them with each of Alpha's pained breaths are anything to go by.

The fire ghoul's shirt is in tatters, his jeans not much better, his skin scratched like he ran blindly through tornbushes and low branches - which he probably did. Alpha's hair is a mess, sticking to his skin, tangled, full of leaves, sticks, dust.

There's so much blood. The earth is drinking it in, darkening by the second under Alpha.

The sight is making Pebble so anxious he could throw up, so he takes his own shirt off, starts using it to clean up what he can, carefully avoiding the actual wounds as not to worsen the risk of infection.

After a few sweep of this makeshift rag, Alpha twitches and cracks an eye open, the dulled glint of his yellow irises dancing under thick lashes.

"Pebble ?"

It's more of an uncertain rasp than anything, but it's further proof of life, so the earth ghoul will be forgiven for latching onto it.

"You better not fucking die Al, you hear me ? I swear to Satan if you die I'm hunting you down in the pit and killing you again."

"Pebble," Alpha gasps again, but this time it's filled with a relief that takes Pebble completely aback, so much he doesn't realizes Alpha moved until he feels the fire ghoul's hand, sticky with blood, settling heavily, clumsily at the back of his neck.

It nearly sends him sprawling on top of the fire ghoul -not only the weight of this hand, or the fine tremor in it, but the obvious way Alpha is clinging to him- , which would have been very unfortunate, but luckily Pebble manages to steady himself before that can happen.

"Yes, yes, that's me you moron," the earth ghoul hisses, anger barely covering the way his stomach keeps sinking deeper and deeper, "I'm here, watching you bleed out with no idea what to do because your stubborn ass doesn't want to-"

"I thought it was you," Alpha interrupts in a choppy exhale, sweat beading at his hairline, "for a moment, it sounded like you."

Pebble's blood runs cold, something uneasy swirling in his chest.

"What ? What are you talking about ?"

Alpha turns his head a little bit, just enough to look at him.

"It sounded like you. Awful sounds. I thought you were- i went to find you but it- wasn't- wasn't you. The second it saw me it..."

The fire ghoul manages to vaguely gesture toward his chest.

"I should've...known. Couldn't have been you- couldn't have. Wasn't...swearing enough."

Pebble might just strangle him for that poor attempt at a joke. Instead, he monitors Alpha's breathing in silence, with one of the fire ghoul's hand on the nape of his neck and the other still loosely wrapped around Pebble's wrist.

That's how Ivy, joined in the meantime by Earth and Zephyr, finds them. The next hour or so is a blurr, as many hands work together to tend to Alpha's wound as best as they can, under Zephyr's welcome directions. The worst part, in Pebble's opinion, might be how small and pale Alpha looks in Earth's arms, getting carried toward the infirmary. He will need quintessence, the ghouls did what they can but there is no recovering from such violent injuries without a little infernal magic's help.

For days, Pebble will sit next to Alpha's bed, wordlessly sharing cups of coffee with an equally worried Omega. He will glance at the window, and the sight of the woods he once considered his home will make him shiver and turn away.

Later, with Alpha back on his feet, treating all this like any other misadventure while refusing to acknowledge what he said to Pebble, the earth ghouls will gather.

They have a forest to purge.

Pride: Hero (unsure about this, he's very susceptible to flattery and praise so there's that) and Tower (for obvious reasons) Envy: Broken (I think he might possibly resent the others quite a bit) and Nightmare (Wraith would also work, they want the freedom you have and have no qualms forcing you to give it to them) Greed: Opportunist (will do whatever he thinks will give him the upper hand or the best reward) and Wild (the only vessel to actually break out of the construct a little, to peek into the infinite) Wrath: Cheated (super salty about everything, swears every other sentence) and Fury (self explanatory) Lust: Stubborn and Adversary (listen, they're both super horny about fighting, we all know this) Sloth: Contrarian (does literally anything but what he's told, generally apathetic to whatever's going on) and Damsel (content to sit around and wait for someone else to tell her what to do, has literally zero agency by design) Gluttony: Cold (turns off sensation just to achieve his goal no matter what, gluttony's all about excess and ya boy sure is pushing his luck) and Beast (literally eats you lol)

Who is Lucifer spouse

Lucifer has many spouses. He met most of them when he was still in Heaven. Baal (Beelzebub) was the Dominion of Temperance who Lucifer admired deeply for his solicitous in his supervision over the lower Choirs of Heaven. Asmodeus was a Virtue of fire and love whose beauty captivated Lucifer the moment he laid eyes on him. Belial was a high ranking Power, second under Michael, who was assigned as Lucifer’s personal and extremely protective sentry. Lilith risked stepping outside of the boundaries of Eden to offer Lucifer food and water when he was wounded and hostile towards her. In exchange, Lucifer cared for her when Lilith was exiled in the desert.

The five of them married each other after they were reunited in Hell. Their marriage is open. Lucifer has taken other lovers as well. Demons like Paimon and Belphegor fell in love with his mind. They will sit with Lucifer for hours to hear him talk, and they will spend double the time reading letters and documents he’s written over and over. Leviathan is obsessed with the light of the Morningstar. Every time Lucifer visits the shores of Hell to see him, Leviathan fights the urge to drag the angel down into the dark depths so he can light up the sea like he does the land.

With so many lovers, you can imagine the amount of broken hearts there are when Hell is filled with the pained, lamenting melodies of the seraph.
