I’ve been wanting to make this post for a long time but I’m so lazy 😭

Remember that Bill Cipher Redemption AU I talked about in Margo’s introductory post? Well, for a REALLY long time, I’ve had this kinda different story in my head since I realized how stupid the whole idea sounded. It’s like an AU inside of an AU. I called it the “Dancing Llama AU” (originally called “Shellshock AU”). So Margo doesn’t kill Bipper and decides to spare him, and what does he do? Throw himself off the water tower. Margo is DEVASTATED and breaks down while cradling Dipper’s dead body when the police arrive and assume she murdered him. Margo ends up going to prison despite Mabel claiming she’d never do such a thing. So Margo ends up in prison alongside Gideon from Sock Opera onwards until Weirdmageddon. Bill promises Mabel to bring Dipper back in exchange for the rift, and he keeps his part of the deal. By possessing Dipper’s dead corpse. Once Weirdmageddon starts, the first thing Bipper does is break Margo out of prison and turns the other prisoners into stone for his throne. When Margo asks him why he spared her, Bipper simply tells her that she didn’t kill him so why should he kill her? So Margo becomes a member of the Henchmaniacs, with Bill renaming her to Sunny. But trust this, this llama is not sunny at all. She’s confused and upset and tries to join everyone in the shack but they don’t let her in because she’s a “murderer”. She even gets one of her eyes ripped out during the Shack-a-Tron fight. So what else can she do? As quoted by J in Murder Drones, it’s better to join the winning side. So Margo Sunny makes her way back to the Fearamid, curls up in the corner, and just…disassociates. The Henchmaniacs are kinda concerned but Bill just leaves her be, telling them she’s just waiting for the party to begin. So the world ends and thus begins Sunny’s new life. She has a new family now, who love her and treat her well. They have all sorts of fun together, like ruling dimensions and fleeing from the dimensional police. But Sunny’s still kinda out of it, like she probably doesn’t even remember half of her “adventures”. This goes on for 4 years, until Sunny is 15 years old. The roots of her hair have blackened, with the brown tips of her hair being the only thing left of Margo Pines. She realizes her 16th birthday is coming up. Her siblings would’ve been 16.

It's been a hot minute since I posted a Hero Forge model, so let's go with an OC one this time:

So this is Adelaide. A while back, I was obsessed with a certain Tron Wild West AU. I was so obsessed that when I finished reading the completed parts, my mind spiraled off a whole Alternate History for it, including this. I also made these based off the original fic.

More info about Adelaide and the Alt History: (Be Warned. It gets crazy. It involves death from illness and violence against a baby.)

Adelaide is sadly deceased before the main events of the story take place, having succumbed to a grave illness.

Adelaide was Paige's mother. Paige's father, who never married Adelaide, took her from Adelaide when she was a baby. Adelaide was left distraught and soon "found" baby Beck, taking him and raising him as her own. Able took in Adelaide, so he took care of Beck after she died.

Depending on how messed up I want to make it, Paige's father is either some random guy, Tesler, or Clu himself. It's usually Clu for dramatic purposes.

Adelaide was potentially an acquaintance of Tron and Yori but probably didn't know them that well.

[Here's where shit gets really crazy]

Beck is actually Tron and Yori's son in this Alt History. Yori went through a very difficult birth, so she and Tron never tried for another kid. They thought their child was going to a girl and planned on naming her "Rebecca".

Clu is a jealous, evil bitch. Clu let a snake into the unnamed kid's room, hoping the kid would get sick and have to be sent away. Instead, the kid supposedly died.

Being someone who works with the mortician, Adelaide realizes the kid is not dead before he's to be buried. However, she also witnessed Clu letting the snake into the baby's room. He won't be safe as long as Clu knows he's alive. So Adelaide, whose child Clu recently stole, steals the child and fakes the weight of the tiny coffin.

Adelaide disappears with the kid for a while. She names him Beck because she knew Tron and Yori wanted to name their kid Rebecca.

Adelaide returns when she becomes ill, lying to everyone and saying Beck is her actual kid.

Beck will later find a letter Adelaide left for him, telling him the whole truth and giving him an heirloom she stole from his intended coffin. This is a T-shaped silver necklace that Lora (because in this Alt History, Lora and Alan are Tron's parents) had made for Tron. Beck starts wearing it underneath his shirt.

Rinzler rode along this time rather than being carried, pressed to Clu's back with his arms around him, so his low purr moving through both of them. He could never quite shut that off, but Clu seemed to find it comforting.

Clu hated the Games anymore. Hated having to watch his people killing each other, and no one caring about so much death. It hurt him inside, and he always felt sick afterward. As soon as he could, he ran from the sky box, his cape fluttering behind him. Not that anyone would care, the event was over. He could leave.

But he also wanted to be alone. He didn't really know where he was going, but he ducked into a dimly lit room and shut the door behind him. They wouldn't search for him for a while he knew.

A sound made him freeze where he stood. He was not alone in here.

"H-Hello?" He called softly into the near darkness.

The enforcer's broken purr was the only sound in the room, something he couldn't stifle or hide, constantly rattling in his chest. He'd just come from the games himself, though of course he'd been on the other side, the architect of the death Clu was so hesitant to witness. Not that he had any choice. Rinzler rose fluidly to his feet, unsure why Clu was there but bowing slightly to the admin anyway, his posture cowed. His body was shaking slightly, though, just barely noticeable in the dark. It wasn't often anyone so much as touched Rinzler in the games; he was far more skilled than any of the strays and nobodies the Occupation threw at him for execution. But this time they'd tossed in a captured member of the resistance, and something about them had made Rinzler hesitate. A flicker of recognition, maybe, and it was just enough for them to land a blow before Rinzler derezzed them, too. He was injured, but even after the match was over they never healed him - just left him to figure it out.

Title: Creature Comforts Pairing: Clu x Dyson Summary: Dyson, having been shaken by events in Argon, seeks comfort from his Luminary. Notes: Takes place at the end of, and immediately following the events of Scars pt. 2. Slightly AU. Rating: F for general fluff     Clu hears the doors to his throne room open and he knows from the footsteps alone who it is. “I have returned from Argon with a message from an Old Friend. I saw him with my own eyes.” Clu looks over his shoulder at Dyson, whose head is bowed out of respect. But the Luminary hears the wavering in that voice he knows otherwise to be so confident.     “Tron…Lives.” Clu has had suspicions based on the reports he got from Argon. But at the same time, Clu knew this…Renegade was not Tron. “Interesting… Who else knows about this?” Clu hears the disc being drawn and the single Sentry being derezzed.  

 “Nobody…only us.” And there is so much emotion on that last syllable that it compels Clu into action. He turns and holds his arms open, “Come here, Dyson.” And then Dyson moves to close the distance, trusting himself to those arms which fold about him.     “Good. Let’s keep it that way.” Clu almost purrs as he rests his cheek against Dyson’s head. No one else but them need know that their Old Friend still lived to resist them. Especially since it was more than likely said Friend would be joining them all too soon.     “Sir?” Clu lifts his head to look the Guard in the eye. Dyson’s hands travel up Clu’s arms to his shoulders. Gloved fingers line in red cradle the Luminary’s face and then Clu is not quite prepared for the sensation of a mouth pressed against his own. But he adjusts accordingly to return the gesture.     Their lips part just enough to maintain closeness but to allow them use of their mouths. “If I may be so bold as to request some downtime? Given…recent events, I need some time to myself.” “I understand, Dyson, but you know where to find me should you need the presence of another.” Clu replies as his gloved fingers brush over one particular side of the Black Guard’s face.     “He was…so different then what I remember, Clu. One of his eyes looked dead from scarring but…there was such…anger in them. Directed at me.” And Dyson moved his hands from Clu’s face. The Liberator raised an eyebrow before pressing a small, light kiss to Dyson’s forehead. “He’ll come around eventually. Take all the time you need.”

    “Thank you, sir.” And Dyson makes no move to pull away once the request has been approved and Clu makes no move to make him.

Corrupted: Ed's Tron 2.0 AU Open Starter

He should have known something like this would happen. He should have been more cautious, known that Encom wasn't safe, that his father would do anything to control him. But he hadn't expected his father's minions to kidnap him.

He suspected his father had a spy inside Encom, though he didn't know who.

E hadn't expected said corporate spy to fucking abduct him and bring him back to his father, except when regained consciousness (he didn't even remember being attacked or knocked out) he was bound to a chair, face to face with the lens of the digitization laser his father's Rn'D team had recreated from stolen plans.

"Hello, Junior," his father said.

Ed cringed at the name. It was a reminder that he would always be his father's shadow, or his right hand. A tool for his father to use, never to be himself.

"What do you want?" Ed hissed.

His father tssked. "Do not take that tone with me, young man."

"I've already made it clear I will not work for you. That I want nothing to do with you. Release me now or I will out your spy and go to the police to file a report on abduction." Nevermind that he still had no idea who the spy was, but if his father thought he knew, he could use it to his advantage. At the very least, he could tell his boss there was for certain a corporate spy.

"Your education was an investment to the company," his father said, completely ignoring the threat.

Ed wiggled his fingers, trying to get himself untied. His father had, unfortunately been thorough, and Ed was out of practice.

"You have one last chance, or we will make you useful in another way. Give me something. Anything. What you've been working on the past few months. Your server access key.

There were already whispers that Ed was a corporate spy and working for his father. He'd worked hard to dispel them, enough to gain his boss's trust. He had one tenuous ally, and he wasn't about to give that up by becoming what everyone else thought he was.

For a moment, Ed was silent. He stared at his ropes that bound his feet. "I've given you my answer," he said quietly. "It remains unchanged."

"Then you will become useful in another way," his father said. "Rumor has it that Flynn... was digitized, the night he...found the games on the server. We have recreated the laser. All we need is a human test subject."

Ed refused to give his father the pleasure of hearing him scream. He wouldn't beg, even if it meant his death. Better dead than under that monster's control. He stared at the laser and listened to his father's retreating footsteps. He closed his eyes, and listened to the whine of the laser as it powered up.

A searing hot white light burned his eyes behind closed eyelids. Then... nothing, for what may have been a pico-second or an eternity.

And then he was conscious again, and his entire body burned. His stomach ached like he might throw up.

When he opened his eyes, he was in a tiny room with grey walls that seemed to glow with the red light that filled the room. He was no longer tied to a chair, but instead laying on the ground. His skin was cracked, and a sickly lime green light shown through his cracked skin.

For a moment, all he could do was lay on the floor, feeling like he was burning from the inside, until he noticed the floor cracking underneath and around him, the green glow slowly spreading across the room.

He was inside...a computer. fCon's server, probably, and something had gone terribly wrong in the digitization process. His 'file' had been corrupted.

Ed pulled himself to his feet, jaw clenched against the dull ache that permeated his body and the wave of nausea that nearly toppled him again.

He marched to the nearest wall, and put his hands to it, screaming like a feral animal with the single-minded goal to get out. The corruption spread to the wall, and with some effort, Ed managed to break it enough to slip through.

He was a programmer, and a damn good one. He would not let his father control him, and he'd be damned if he didn't at least try to escape. If he took down the fCon server from the corruption in the process... well, his father deserved it.

He had no idea how to get out, but he'd figure it out. He squeezed through the hole he'd made, and ran, uncaring of where he ended up. Anywhere would surely be better than trapped and under his father's control again.

in dark fibre au, who are the Clockers?

Cleo runs the city after her mad-scientist/fibre-inventing partner Etho vanished. (After he... uh... maybe killed and then un-killed her. They have a complicated backstory.) Along with their two sons, Bdubs and Scar, they are the Family and yes: think cyberpunk mafia but also they're also legitimate.

Cleo is like... Kingpin meets Clu 2 from Tron: Legacy meets the Grandmaster. They're truly the villains in this AU but there's some sympathy there because Bdubs doesn't really remember his dad and wants to believe that he wouldn't just abandon them while Scar does remember Etho and hates his guts, even more than Cleo does. Cleo doesn't really care if Etho lives or dies so long as he stays invisible and doesn't interfere with her plans, but Scar wants him dead.

They run the city and the main fibre network that connects everything, and they use fibre access to control the city's inhabitants. Can't work or get paid or call for help or even talk to each other if you don't have fibre, and Cleo wields that weapon as a graceful and clever mastermind.

how angry do you think stan would be if he found out if ford publicly joined bill (though we all know he’s backstabbing him late) in One of Us. like. all stan knows about bill is that he ended the world. and there ford is, JOINING HIM. that would really fuck him up, I think. definitely no shackatron now, because ford needs no saving. unless he attempts to backstab and bill is just like Fuck That and puts him in the same torture situation as canon. except Worse. but then this time everyone would be even less motivated to save him! it’s such a weird situation. and if/when ford gives bill the equation (since bill will inevitability ask for it. unless this is where ford backstabs him) does bill just WIN? i suppose so. how do the pines win from here, if they do at all? :(

Anon this ask has kept me up all morning since like 2 am thank you for giving me the kick to start thinking about oou au. anyway

Speaking from a canon perspective, I don't think there is an equation, but for this AU I'll say there is because if anything, Bill would want it immediately when Ford joins him. He has no reason to wait and the deal is get power and knowledge and everything in exchange for the equation.

Which means yeah, Weirdmageddon does just get global early on. Though I think Bill and Ford would stay behind in the Fearamid because Bill seemed to intend to stay behind when initially trying to send the Henchmaniacs out into the world and he'd probably choose to keep Ford around to sorta show him the ropes and just to spend time with the guy. I've already talked plenty about how I think Bill genuinely likes Ford, I can see him choosing to hang out just with him above the other Henchmaniacs. Also y'know, the fact that they're both pretty much the central characters in this AU but I want to justify that with in-universe reasoning too lmao.

How the Pines win from that point is a whole thing I have yet to unpack but like. Killing Bill does reverse Weirdmageddon and I am not dead set on making this a bad ending type thing necessarily (tho I have thought about putting together ideas for how a successful Weirdmageddon would play out 🤔 mostly in how it would affect Bill long-term).

ANYWAY TO THE ACTUAL QUESTION there might still be a Shacktron? Because even if Ford accepts Bill's deal as early as in the Penthouse scene instead of folding at some point during the torture, the tron was already being built about that same time and I doubt it's going to be noticeable from the town if Weirdmageddon is spreading outside of it. It's just now that when the Shacktron crashes Bill's party it's not gonna be to a scene of the Henchmaniacs cheering as Bill tortures Ford, but to a scene of Bill happily chatting to Ford about how they're gonna rule the universe and stuff.

And about Stan, this absolutely depends on how much he knows about Bill because if we assume all he knows is based on Weirdmageddon happening like the show probably wants us to, yeah there's absolutely going to be resentment, depending on how obvious it is that Ford's hiding a knife behind his back.

But if we assume that Stan saw Ford's private study and saw some of the Journal 3 pages about Bill, despite Ford assuming Stan doesn't know about the study and the show never touching on Stan having looked through the third Journal beyond the portal plans, I think there will be some concern and confusion seeping in. Was Ford being tricked by Bill again? Would Ford get tricked by Bill again??

3. what fandom do you primarily favour? this one's easy! apex! my interests expand beyond apex obviously but i'll be the first to admit i have zero AUs for my lil man and i'm not sure about the reason for this. i think a lot of it is simply memory issues and not being able to remember enough lore details to feel secure in my interpretations ... that being said, if i made any AUs, they'd probably include tron, borderlands, the elder scrolls, and fallout. maybe dead by daylight but octane would just be frank legion anyway so idk. i also thought about an overwatch AU once but then blizzard stopped caring about the lore and so did i LOL

4. what genre do you primarily favour? i write/draw a lot of scifi these days but my background is actually in fantasy and horror. i really dig writing about psychology and dark themes in general. scifi can often encompass these things but sometimes i feel like i swing a little too hard in the thriller/horror direction and that maybe i'm writing in the wrong genre :')

10. what year did you join the tumblr roleplaying community? not that long ago. 2019ish

11. what other platforms have you used to roleplay? i started rping when i was like. eleven years old. on MSN messenger & AIM. then on neopets boards. and then i moved onto actual forums like proboards and invisionfree. funny story btw, in the process of answering this one, i went on a deep dive to find my old invisionfree RP forum and apparently they all shut down in 2019 and i might have lost four years worth of writing from high school. FUN. anyway then i moved to livejournal and dreamwidth for a bit and finally tumblr.

18. how did you come across the roleplay community? that's a good question. i have no idea. PROBABLY just from browsing neopets forums if i had to guess.

19. what have you learned by proxy of roleplaying and rp researching? i never used to research anything for RP because it was all fantasy and OCs up until tumblr and i did what i wanted. BUT with octane i have had the opportunity to learn lots of miscellaneous things. random spanish phrases and expletives. what being electrocuted feels like. how long it takes to die from asphyxiation. y'know just octane things

.........his Tron is probably dead because no way would Tron let that happen to Beck, and then he sees your Clu and my Tron (and his counterpart protecting a tiny Rinzler, much to his confusion) and just sort of. Sinks into a puddle of unhappy scared Program because there is A Clu to listen to which satisfies the repurposed code but there's also A Tron and he just wants his dad to make the nightmares go away.

..........I want him to take the name Ratchet, once he's calm and settled enough to decide on a name of his own, because he's done with breaking things and just wants to go back to fixing stuff. Beck proudly declares they're twins.

Greetings and welcome to the "Who The Fuck Am I?" post written by yours truly, whoever the fuck I am. Now that I'm back on my Fandom bullshit again in at least 2 blogs, I thought I'd re-introduce myself.

I am 2nd gen Korean-American on the Best West Coast. I ID as she/they/shiro, and ace/demi. I'm in the millennial bracket (aka, I am a Legal Adult) so be mindful when interacting with me. I do what I can to be antiracist and am always learning to be better.

My first Fandom 2.0 was political/pundit RPF and my first fandom fallout was Racefail '09, so you could say I've Seen Some Shit. Been 5+ years since I last engaged in actual Fandom, yet here the fuck I am.

I suffered from artist's block for almost 4 years. That ended when I became utterly fixated on "So Grogu has two dads now - oh no." I fucking ragequit Star Wars after the fucking world lied to me about The Last Jedi* and now I'm doing the most insane and involved fanworks because of Star Wars. The fuck???

*I hate The Last Jedi the most not just because it's racist sexist garbage that trashed everyone except Kylo Ren whoever the fuck he thinks he is, and jumpstarted some of the most toxic fandom behavior I had the displeasure of witnessing, but also because I read so much praise for it before walking into the theater, paying for a ticket with my own money, and realizing 5 minutes into the film that I was gonna have the worst time of my life. I can't and probably will never watch Knives Out because I still haven't forgiven the director for the psychological damage. This is 100% a TLJ Hate Zone.
