“I have everything I already need inside of me.” - My favorite mantra at the moment! As a wife, mom, friend and woman who ended up at the intersection of overweight and under healthy for me, I had to tell myself to put aside all the things that I was doing for everyone and everything else ... but me! At that intersection, it became a personal virtue for me to take care of myself the best way I know how. Which is I never stop teaching myself about nutrition and how to be healthy. I want to continue to educate me on what I need to be doing in an effort to be running on all 8 cylinders for when and where I’m needed or wanted. It’s also important for ME to ‘just do MY best’ and ‘to try new things’ that enable me to BE THE BEST VERSION of myself day in and day out.
