There is nothing wrong with asking for someone to respect your needs and boundaries, especially if it regards your safety and well-being. You are VALID and ALLOWED to address those specifications to somebody, and if they can't respect that or they get defensive with you and make it an issue. There is something inherently wrong with them, not you. Your safety and well-being come first, and if someone can not see or accomdate that, they can leave. 🍧
