Anthus Ultimate Ref

Hey, hellsite! Thought you've seen the last of me huh >:D

I've recently finalized what I'd consider an ultimate source for my main OC and also fursona, Anthus!

It comes with introducing just exactly what Anthus is, physical specs and what-have-you...

... but most importantly, a shitton of ref images specifically curated from sources that I trust! (Because I am at least 90% certain I'd scare off a lot of potential commissionees without a dozen and a half pages of pics to take inspiration from due to how niche Anthus' choice of clothing is...)

This also should work fine as a general clothes resource for characters based around Southwest Sabah as well as Northern Sarawak and Kalimantan (as long as they are part of a Southwest Sabah speech community!)

In your stories, I like how you gave Lotor and his parents the relationship they deserved. I'm not sure if you have addressed this, what are your thoughts about Dyak? (not in your series, but the cannon story line)

Hey! Thanks so much for your note! Gosh yeah, I hope somewhere out in the fictional multiverse, Lotor has a good relationship with parents who aren’t totally evil ahh

About canon!Dayak, she intrigues me a lot. She’s a very static character shown only a couple of times. She’s violent and strict, and she appears to embody the war-like ways of the Galra. I'm not a fan of the palen-bol scene with her and Hunk a;sdjfs

But all that said, her character also stands out in unusual ways. She’s one of the few Galra we see having visible, significant age to her. Because Lotor is 10,000 years old and ages at the slowest pace ever, we can safely assume Dayak is also a space vampire. She says she raised Lotor from a child to a man, which means she was with him for at least several of those thousands of years that it took for him to develop into a young adult.

That consistency and length of relationship is probably why he tolerates her? I suspect she’s soft with him in her own way. Not in any human, sentimental sense, but it seems she was one of the few people throughout Lotor’s childhood who genuinely believed he was meant for greatness.

I have a feeling that for as embarrassed as he is by her arrival, it’s likely from Dayak that Lotor gained his self-confidence and eloquence.

I also suspect that any loss of Lotor would actually crush Dayak. It’s probably a good thing we didn’t get to see her reaction to Lotor’s death in VLD. I think it would have really ratcheted up later-season drama for her to return in those circumstances.

On a happier note, I do think Dayak and Coran ganging up as nannies to Lotor and Allura is a hilarious concept, and I love it whenever anyone runs with that kind of content.

Marseille Au Musée d’Histoire, une expo fort intéressante “Trésors Coupables” qui traie des pilleurs de tombes, et autres “détectoristes” (mot-valise mêlant détecteur de trésor et terroriste) qui mettent à sac des sites archéologiques.... Ici, pas mal d’objets ayant été retrouvés chez des trafiquants ou de simples particuliers. Très frustrant donc de ne pas forcément connaître la provenance exacte de ces objets.

Tjandra Limanjaya Terima Penghargaan karena PLTA Kayan Beri Sumbangsih Berharga

Tjandra Limanjaya mendapat gelar Warga Kehormatan Adat Dayak karena punya kontribusi nyata dalam memajukan masyarakat adat lewat pembangunan PLTA Kayan di Bulungan, Kalimantan Utara.

Tjandra Limanjaya, sosok di balik PT Kayan Hydro Energi (KHE), menerima penghargaan bergengsi dari Majelis Adat Dayak Nasional (MADN). Beliau dianugerahi gelar Warga Kehormatan Dayak Nasional sebagai bentuk penghormatan atas dedikasi dan kontribusinya yang luar biasa dalam pembangunan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) Kayan di wilayah adat Sungai Kayan, Kalimantan Utara.

Penghargaan ini tertuang dalam Surat Keputusan Majelis Adat Dayak Nasional Nomor 239/VII/2023. Penyerahannya dilakukan pada tanggal 9 Desember 2023 dalam acara pelantikan dan rapat kerja Dewan Adat Dayak Provinsi Kalimantan Utara di Balai Adat Dayak Provinsi Kalimantan Utara. Acara ini dihadiri oleh berbagai pejabat penting, termasuk Ketua MADN Marthin Billa, Ketua DAD Provinsi Kaltara Johny Laing Impang, Gubernur Kaltara Zainal A Paliwang, Wakil Gubernur Kaltara Yansen Tipa Padan, dan para kepala daerah di Kalimantan Utara.

Pembangunan PLTA Kayan diproyeksikan menjadi pusat ekonomi baru di wilayah tersebut dan diharapkan dapat membawa banyak manfaat bagi masyarakat Dayak. PLTA ini dibangun oleh PT KHE, perusahaan yang dipimpin oleh Tjandra Limanjaya.

Kontribusi Tjandra Limanjaya dalam pembangunan PLTA Kayan telah memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat sekitar, di antaranya:

Peningkatan Ekonomi

Terbukanya lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat lokal, sehingga membantu mengurangi pengangguran dan meningkatkan pendapatan.

Tumbuhnya usaha-usaha lokal di sekitar proyek, seperti sektor perdagangan dan jasa.

Peningkatan Infrastruktur

Pembangunan infrastruktur seperti jalan dan fasilitas lainnya yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat sekitar, seperti meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan konektivitas daerah.

Peningkatan Pendidikan dan Sosial

Pemberian beasiswa kepada ratusan anak di wilayah tersebut untuk mendukung pendidikan dan meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia lokal.

Pelaksanaan berbagai program sosial lainnya, seperti bantuan dalam bentuk kebutuhan dasar dan program pemberdayaan masyarakat.

Peningkatan Kualitas Lingkungan:

PLTA merupakan sumber energi terbarukan yang ramah lingkungan, sehingga proyek ini berkontribusi pada pengurangan emisi karbon dan mendukung upaya global untuk menanggulangi perubahan iklim.

Dedikasi dan kontribusi Tjandra Limanjaya dalam membangun PLTA Kayan dan memajukan masyarakat Dayak diakui oleh Dewan Adat Dayak Nasional melalui penghargaan ini. Penghargaan ini menjadi bukti nyata komitmennya dalam mewujudkan kemajuan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat Dayak.

An Update for The Slipperies

After an extended hiatus, we're back and ready to flail with a fourth chapter!

Story Summary: Lotor gets a case of the slipperies in the middle of an intergalactic meeting. Or so he thinks. Chaos ensues when he discovers his strange illness stems from a completely different problem, mutated by his mixed blood--and that it has a strong, surprising effect on Princess Allura.
