Sometimes I feel like I'm the only Dusun-speaking furry in this world so this WIP translation of the English Wikipedia's "Furry fandom" page is mostly dedicated to myself.

Marginalized indigenous languages don't deserve this pessimist narrative of being close to "extinction". They can still thrive in this day and age as long as you let them evolve dynamically as they should, even if it means in embarrassing and taboo ways. Or something like that. IDK, I just did this for the funnies, but also because I needed an outlet to practice my Dusun translation skills.

Dusun (and more broadly, Indigenous) furries exist, spread the word around. Kopibabasan ku duyu.

The sweetness and then Dohoe pulling away when Juyeong tried again and isn't that just heartbreaking and a sign of everything else that keeps happening and how they relate to each other and the pain and the fear and the love that keeps hurting because neither of them really knows how to love.

So I've been thinking about time. About how they're stuck in different ways. And although I'm incredibly sleep deprived I could not go to sleep before I figured this out.

So here's the thing. We all know this place.

And this clock sets the time for the house and we can always hear it when there's a scene in this room.

Now let's go to the past for a minute.

This is the shot that precedes the JuYeong's confession. The clock marks 9:25.

Now back in the present when they go back to the house together this is what it looks like.

It marks 5:30. Which I assume it's the real time.

Now this is where it gets interesting. Because it doesn't stay that way.

When the camera in on Juyeong the clock is at 9:25

But when the camera goes to Dohoe, it's at 8:10.

Do you know what also is at that time?

So I said something earlier, about Dohoe being stuck. In a way they both are. But Juyeong is stuck in that confession, in his love for Dohoe, when he was happiest. Dohoe is stuck in his worst moment. The time everything changed.
