They did film the scene (iirc) but they didn't keep it in because Dave thought it would falter next to the "Do you plan on being the worst kind of first as well?" and Francis hitting James in front of people.

Just watched some of Dave K's Terror Q/A and the sweater and gloves Crozier wears in ep9/10 are indeed James'. The service Francis metioned was after he gave James the liquid but before James died. James' death scene was intentionally ("100%") technically filmed like a love/sex scene: as few crew members as possible and giving them privacy.

Also, Hartnell's body was taken by Hickey's camp and Francis was bleeding because he tried to stop them, so they beat him up. Hartnell (and Fitzjames) were probably eaten, but they didn't use the scene so that Hartnell's death wouldnt be reduced in meaning.

random question but does rose have some of dirks physical traits and does dave have some of roxy’s?

Yeah!!! since I see them as a family and see a lot of similarities between Roxy and Dave/Dirk and Rose, I like to assume that they also have some similarities in appearance.

When I was just designing their appearance, I was thinking about making some kind of table or something like that, where I could show all the similarities between them.

As a result, the main thing that I was able to highlight was the small things in the facial features. For example, Dave and Roxy have dimples on their cheeks and they have a pretty similar eye shape. Dirk and Rose have similar smiles (do you know those characteristic wrinkles that appear when a person smiles? I mean them!), sharp facial features and strongly pronounced cheekbones. I would mention that they are both tall and have good muscle mass.

In addition, initially I wanted to make a funny detail with the eyes: I wanted to add Roxy's eye color to Dave's eyes, and Dirk's eye color to Rose's eyes. but unfortunately it didn't look very good, so I left only the accent in Rose's eyes - hence the orange rim around her pupils💜
